FDSN Florida Presents QCW Ruckus [s5e15 • February 6th, 2026]

We got the standard “Invincible” open that ended with the Cavalcade of Champions. But when we hit the pyro, there were a few thousand more fans than usual again. As Steve welcomed us to Ruckus he noted they were coming live from the Wings Event Center in Kalamazoo, Michigan due to the horrible weather in the Northeast. Carl Christensen checked in on color commentary and joked that QCW was on its 2026 Polar Vortex Tour before Steve hyped that tonight Pyotr Caviar and Malicía Fernandez of the Republic would face the International Players in a non-titles match and a special address from Commissioner Holmes would run later in the show. Tonight's action would begin with a man some call the fastest rising star in QCW…

1. Tre Boyd d. Drake Tremble at 7:10 Tremble came into this match falling down the ladder, as clearly getting excommunicated from the Chosen has dimmed his usual obnoxiousness while the ascendant Boyd has beaten former champions at the last two PPVs - his Cold As Hell win shook Nazir el-Fadal so much we haven't seen or heard from him since. The match was mostly one way traffic for Tre, though Drake did manage to get in a brief rally around the midway point. It didn't take long for the Gospel to hit a Spanish Fly to take control back and he eventually came off the top with Say Hallelujah to put another W on the board. Boyd hit the buckles and made A Very Familiar Gesture around his waist post match while the announcers wondered which titleholder he had his eyes set on.  

Speaking of champions, we went backstage for an interview between Naomi Lee and the National champion Orion, who got a sustained pop from the Kalamazoo branch of Quality Controllers. Lee said that Orion had uncharacteristically asked for this time to speak so they clearly had something to get off their chest. Orion pulled out their voice app and “said” that silver spooned asshole Genesis King had been coming after them for weeks, running his mouth on social media and complaining about not being the National champion when he was the one who tried to take off their mask at Cold As Hell. That disrespect wouldn't stand as long as Orion was standing, so they’d give Genesis what he wants in a title rematch on next week's Pure Massacre supershow - BUT it was going to be no holds barred. If Genesis wanted to go after their mask, then Orion would go after his quote unquote manhood, his eight pack and anything else he had to offer. He’d awoken something in Orion he should've left sleeping - and Pure Massacre was going to live up to its name by the time Orion got done with him. The Cosmic Champion saluted Nao and walked off and we headed to the ring for tag team action…

2. Bonnie Agrippa and Nancy Crowley of Hysteria (w/Justine Danek) d. Hilary Highnote & Christine Kent at 4:32 Agrippa lost a bitterly contested singles match to long time rival “Night Sky” Diana Spare on last week's episode: here, she and long time lieutenant Crowley took out their frustrations on Christine and Hilary in a dominant win that ended with Agrippa piefacing Highnote during the pin after Hysteria’s signature unit hit their trademark spike brainbuster. Not content with the win, Hysteria took over the commentary table post match with them intimidating the announcers and Bonnie threatening Diana that just because she’d won the battle last week didn't mean that Hysteria wouldn't win the war. They did their usual temporary blackout bit after that; Ruckus followed by going to break.

We came back from commercials with Julius Duquesne III about to do a backstage interview with guests Ashok Banerjee and Jacques Krieger. JD3 gave Ashok props on his winning streak since coming back from injury. Banjerjee was quick to accurately blame Justine Danek for blinding him, then mentioned when he saw another member of Hysteria blind Justine’s tag partner he laughed so hard he was afraid he’d end up back on the injured list. Karma had taken care of Hysteria, and if it hadn't the Forbidden Book Club would. So as tempting as vengeance was, he was set on capturing the World Tag Team championships with Jacques having his back. The Republic might have them now, but he and Jacques were going to put in work to liberate the belts and take all the power Ig (de Catur) had away. Jules turned to Jacques to get his thoughts, but Krieger gave a short laugh and said “You heard the man” before walking off the set. Ashok gave JD3 a nod and followed suit; Duquesne III threw things back to the ring where “the Voice of QCW” Duck Eko made the ring introductions for our next match…

3. “The Purifier” Caleb Gray (w/the Chosen) d. Jonathan Livingston Clipper Esq. at 7:20 Newcomer Clipper's undefeated streak came to an end against the Chosen’s chosen one. Gray showed off his mean streak here, jumping JLCE before he could even get out of his unbuttoned Hawaiian shirt. Caleb dominated early and sent Jonathan to the floor, and after tossing him into the retaining barrier he gave Clipper a gourdbuster across the facade of the announce table. The Purifier seemed content to win the bout by countout, but Clipper managed to save the match at 8 and made a rally to put Gray on the back foot. Unfortunately, the rally was brought to a halt by a massive cyclone kick that had the Captain flopping like a fish out of international waters, and once Caleb landed Reap the Whirlwind it was all but over from there. A Repent sewed up the match for the former Duquesne Cup winner, and to add insult to injury after the match the End Times forced JLCE to his knees in front of Caleb, who demanded he beg forgiveness for daring to fight Gray. Officials and agents streamed past a conflicted looking Goody Gardner to break up the scene, but not before Caleb got in one last cheap shot kick to the face.

From there, we went TOTHEBACK~!, where Commissioner Holmes announced the Pure Massacre main event for next week - a trios match where all 3 members of the Republic would go up against the team of World champion Jupiter Jones and the recently reunited Savage Justice. He thanked us for watching and Ruckus went to break shortly after that.

4. The Undaunted d. w @ s t 3 l a n d e r s at 6:03 This was the first match for the Undaunted as full time members of the QCW roster, and they acquitted themselves well in a showcase against the resident marauders. The old adage of speed kills told the story as Tim McMurray and Dave Mullin ran circles around their bigger opponents; a handspring tornado DDT from the “Unforgettable” Dave set up their finisher (a Doomsday Device variant with a Meteora instead of a clothesline) Shamrock Air and a pin by “the Only Hope” Tim to get the former two time Catch Hell Wrestling League tag team champions the easy W.  

As the Undaunted headed to the back, Carl Christensen (former champion, you may have heard about it…several times…weekly) hit the ring for an interview with another set of bright lights in QCW’s tag team division and brought out Forbidden Book Club: Luz Cruz and Shelley LaVey!  

Cruz & LaVey hit the ring to cheers from the crowd and “FBC” chants, which they stoked after they hit the turnbuckles. Once the interview began, Carl put over their winning against Hysteria at Cold As Hell before wondering what was next up for Luz and Shelley. Luz said that just because they'd won a battle against Hysteria, they knew to keep their heads on swivels. Cruz again apologized to the crowd for bringing them in two springs ago and said that was why she wasn't going to stop until she had driven them back out of QCW. Shelley said that Carl asked what was next for them, and if they were going to keep things real? They didn't know, because the next step was out of their hands. To the surprise of almost everyone, Shelley asked “Night Sky* Diana Spare to come down to the ring. It took a few beats for “you should see me in a crown” to hit the PA and bring Spare out to a rapturous reception from the Quality Controllers.

Spare hit the ring in what could be charitably described as shit kicker chic, eyebrow up at being called out. LaVey said that she knew better than anybody that Diana has been a lone wolf for a hot minute even when she’d helped them out the past few weeks. Shelley began uncharacteristically stumbling over her words, so Luz grabbed the mic and said that they wanted Diana to lead the Forbidden Book Club. The crowd popped while Diana stared incredulously at Luz as her head tilted to 10 and 4. Cruz asked for Diana to hear her out - she knew how Hysteria worked better than anybody, and she knew that whether she wanted to admit it or not that Hysteria wouldn't stop coming after them, that one side or the other would have to get wiped out before a real end could come. It was Shelley's idea to reform the Club, and now they had Hysteria on their heels without a counter spell. If Diana helped them out as their leader, they could stomp Hysteria out once and for all. So what did she say?

Spare looked at them both with a borderline sneer before going “Nah, I'm good” and started to leave before Shelley put a hand on her shoulder. Spare wheeled around and shoved Shelley down, causing Luz to step in between them. What came out of Diana's mouth next was less a promo than an extended snarl directed at Shelley even if she was pointing at Luz the whole time. She asked Shelley why she would bring back such a cursed name, why it was that despite the least experience of them it all she was the only one to actually see it was all about Bonnie Agrippa and her ego trip, that she had tried to show her then tag partner the error of her ways and what it’d gotten her was a beatdown from Bonnie and her little lapdog Nancy – and despite the conflict in Shelley's eyes, she’d helped stomp her out right alongside them. By the time Shelley had woken the hell up, Diana was gone…and Spare fixed her glare on Luz, saying that was right around when Luz was bringing them back in, planning on using Bonnie and the rest of Hysteria to become the top of the women's division. But, of course, the moment Diana whipped her ass last Golden Rule, Hysteria did what they were always going to do which is what Bonnie always said. Year after year after [there's a swear]ing year of Bonnie's ego parade, and now the snake that let them in the door and one of the backstabbers that had made her a lone wolf to begin with wanted her to lead the Forbidden Book Club?! They were lucky she didn't lead them to the ICU!  

Luz looked sad but nodded, but as Spare turned around she saw something that stopped her in her tracks - Shelley on her knees, crying, apologizing, pleading with Diana that this moment of weakness was what she deserved for not having the courage to do what was right before - but Diana had to help them make things right, that they needed Diana's leadership to make Hysteria pay. Diana hissed at Shelley to get off her knees and then said it loud enough to be heard in Youngstown Spare then yanked Shelley up by the hair and said the last place you could win a war from was on your knees. She didn't want Shelley's tears or apologies, or Luz’s for that matter. What she wanted was simple and twofold: changed, improved behavior and the ability to stand where she’d helped put Hysteria in the grave and take a long, steaming piss all over it! The crowd popped but Diana spoke over them, telling Luz that this time last year they were trying to destroy each other but for nearly a year they’d been throwing hands against Hysteria even when she was…maybe, perhaps too stubborn or, maybe say proud to accept anybody's help. If they wanted her in the Club, hell, so far as she was concerned her name is still on the lease.  

But she wasn't coming to lead. Let Hysteria have Bonnie's power trip; this Club fights as equals that split everything down the middle three ways. Shelley let out a snort laugh that got Diana glaring at her. When Spare asked what Shelley was laughing at, LaVey said nothing with a mischievous grin. Diana did a double take at Shelley before saying she appreciated them coming to her - but if she was honest with herself she knew she’d be back in the Club with Shelley…because nothing Forbidden could die. Billie Eilish hit the PA as Luz and Shelley enveloped Diana in a hug that Spare didn't seem to enjoy that much. But, hey, she's back in what's now a three woman Forbidden Book Club and Kalamazoo (and Steve!) loved to see it. They exchanged a triangle of fist bumps and left the ring.

As they headed up the ramp, “The Passenger” brought out Keo Tevi for the semi main. Keo gave some applause for FBC as they passed each other, with Luz and Shelley showing respect while Diana had returned to her RBF. Keo vaulted into the ring and took the applause in from the crowd while posing on the ropes.

5. “Cambodian Cool” Keo Tevi d. “Shieldmaiden” Val Curry (w/Bettie Rokker) at 6:47 Showcase win for the smaller Tevi, who used a hit and run attack to take Curry down in sections before getting the win with her Psychedelic Shock (Rolling Thunder shotei). As Tevi celebrated their victory on their way to the back, a cut to backstage showed “Sinister” Sarah Fowler scowling as she watched it on a monitor backstage before she ripped it out of the wall and smashed it repeatedly against the floor. No more hatewatching for Fowler, but more Ruckus to come after a few final ads.

Back from the break, we got a military recruitment styled vignette that put over the All Starr Stable with S. Mark himself doing the voiceover. He mentioned that he was looking for the sort of talent that would compliment the roster of international superstars and former and soon to be champions again, and mentioned even lowering his fee to 10% for the right person or people given that it was tax season. There was plenty of Quality wrestling…but only the best of the best could become all Starr’s.  

Before the main event, Steve hyped up next week's Pure Massacre supershow with limited commercial interruptions and an extra half hour of runtime. He put over the two biggest matches on the show coming from Chicago: the Orion/Genesis King rematch for the National championship with no holds barred was one. The other was going to be high quality trios action when the legendary Jupiter Jones would team up with Savage Justice to face off against all three members of the Republic.  

But we wouldn't have to wait until next week to see an instrument of Jupiter vs. the Republic - he was leading his proteges against the World Tag Team champions in non-titles action in tonight's main event.

6. Pyotr Caviar & Malicía Fernandez (w/the Republic) d. The International Players (w/Collipark) in a non-titles match at 8:03 On commentary, Steve put over the idea that a win here would get the former World Tag Team champions a titles shot at their old belts now held by the Republic. Lucius Patton and Benjamin Valentino fought like it early on and took it to their larger opponents by employing quick tags and just as quick offense. The Players even had some tricks up their sleeve, taking down Malicía a little bit after the halfway point when they dropped the former National champion with a double flapjack. When Pyotr tried to come in to make a save, the Players took him down with a double drop toe hold that sent him right into the crotch of Fernandez while the crowd tittered and laughed. Steve had maybe the most awkward ten seconds of his broadcast career while the champs rolled out of the ring.  

Replays of the double team offense were met with silence by Steve and giddy laughter from Carl. As we faded back into live action, we saw Ig standing on the steel steps berating his charges. He suddenlu slapped the massive Caviar in the face before even more disgustingly slapping Malicía in the jaw, complaining that they were looking like champs instead of champs and that if they wanted to continue having champagne and lobster every night they’d better get in the ring and wipe the Players off the map.

Pyotr and Malicía alternated between looking at each other incredulously and giving some glares to their benefactor while Omar Littlefield stood behind Ig - but then they got back in the ring and beat on the Players like they were a set of bongos for the final third of the match. Both Patton and Valentino ate pop up European uppercuts from a scarily reinvigorated Caviar and the rout was on from there; de Catur's charges ragdolled the Players around the ring repeatedly before laying them both out with double chokeslams to win the main event.  

But wait, there's more - after Caviar pinned Valentino, the champions got their belts back while the rest of Collipark went to check on Lucius & Benjamin. Ig gave Omar a head tilt and pointed towards the ring. The massive Detroiter went into the ring and made a beeline for the unaware Jupiter Jones, laying him out from behind before punching away on the man who'd taken the World title off of him in Cambodia. Science Fiction Double Feature went from checking on the Players to trying to save their mentor from the land monster called Omar. Unfortunately for the former World Tag Team champions, combined they weighed slightly less than Littlefield, and he didn't take long to swat them out of the air like flies. The Ig endorsed beating continued…but then “Unscripted Violence” hit the PA…and it got quickly replaced by “All My Life”.

Razorblade began coming down the stairs armed with a barbed wire wrapped baseball bat while Justice Davis parted the Qualitron with a snow shovel in his hands as he came running down the ramp. Savage Justice was about to be served when de Catur sprung the trap - half of Republic Enforcement extended their batons and ran up the ramp to beat JD down before he could even swing the shovel. The other half did similarly as they surrounded and pummelled Razorblade on the floor before he could save Jones like he did at Cold As Hell. Steve was in the middle of excoriating Ig when Omar lifted the top of the announce table off and threw it into the steel steps where it splintered. Carl told Steve “We need to get the hell out of here” and they did, looking on from around the tenth row stunned as Pyotr and Malicía pulled the Players to the floor. Quality Force Security began streaming from the back, but either Omar or a member of Republic Enforcement took each one of them out.   

With Savage Justice, Savage Justice and Science Fiction Double Feature laid out next to QFS, it cleared the runway for Caviar and Fernandez to get off one more dastardly deed on the evening. After Ig repeatedly screamed for them to do it, Caviar and Fernandez exchanged a nod before they each sent one of the Players through the announce table with another sky high chokeslam. Ig hit the ring applauding and cackling as he oversaw the destruction of anyone foolish enough to step to the Republic on this evening. It was a scene of destruction unlike any in Ruckus’ history, and with Steve and Carl having justifiably fled for higher ground all you could hear was the crowd’s boos and bleeped out curses. At the feet of the Republic lay half a dozen QFS guards, Savage Justice, Science Fiction Double Feature and the World champion - the International Players were down and unmoving in the wreckage of what used to be the announce table.  

On the QCW calendar, Pure Massacre wasn't for another week. But as Ruckus faded to black it was evident that Ig de Catur and his cronies were done waiting to massacre their enemies.

• The show opened with a Cold As Hell recap video package - stills taken after Ashok Banerjee and “Cambodian Cool” Keo Tevi won their preshow matches gave way to longer videos of main card action…

• ❄️ The show kicked off with Orion defending the National championship against newcomer Genesis King, the champion way ahead on points until King went after her mask which got him kicked in the balls and them DQed; Orion angrily stomped to the back with their belt while King laughed at them from the mat ❄️

• ❄️❄️ Justice Davis and “the Purifier” Caleb Gray fighting with title level intensity as JD tried to get out from under Gray’s control over his contract while the leader of the Chosen looked to extend it for the rest of the year.  Gray tried to use his acolytes to run interference but they got caught and ejected from ringside; Davis wasted little time in bloodying Gray and making him pay before winning the match and gaining his freedom ❄️❄️

• ❄️❄️❄️ The Forbidden Book Club going up against Justine Danek and Bella Jolie of Hysteria, with Danek and Jolie controlling early but Shelley LaVey managing to make them collide when they tried to finish her off.  Down the stretch, Luz Cruz pulled Bella Jolie in front of an attempted black misting from Nancy Crowley, and won the match with her double jump poison rana.  Cruz and LaVey celebrated to the back, medical staff helped Justine and Bella to the back after they left, leaving Boñnie and a visibly off kilter Crowley to try and regain the World Tag Team championships in the next match ❄️❄️❄️

• ❄️❄️❄️❄️ They were one of the teams in the fatal four way for the belts, alongside Cole Grant and Freddie Valsada from the Glam Squad, Pyotr Caviar and Malicía Fernandez of the Republic, and the defending champions from Collipark in Science Fiction Double Feature.  The newly emergent Squad proved that they could hang at a championship level, and in fits and spurts the Hysteria/SFDF rivalry shone.  But Pyotr and Malicía were too big to fail, mowing down all opposition with a series of double chokeslams and Malicía pinning Agrippa to win the belts to the glee of Ig de Catur ❄️❄️❄️❄️

• ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️ Nazir el-Fadal’s open challenge followed suit and it was answered…by Tre Boyd.  We saw Tre use his speed to get the upper hand and plant Naz with a Blue Thunder bomb and continuing to dominate the Grand Slam winner to the shock of the crowd, planting a Spanish Fly on the One Man Jihad but missing Say Hallelujah off the top, allowing Naz to take control.  Naz with a barrage of European uppercuts, hitting an Iconoclasm and a Hamrin Valley Driver into the apron - but when he went to end things with Nazquil, Tre countered with a backslide for 3 and the upset win, leaving the Gospel celebrating with the crowd and a stunned, rattled Naz sitting in the middle of the ring with a blank thousand yard stare ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️

• ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️ Then it was time for the main event, a triple threat for the QCW World championship between the Republic’s Omar Littlefield, Mason “Razorblade” Savage and the defending champion, the legendary Jupiter Jones representing Collipark.  Things started off as a borderline handicap match, Jupiter & Razorblade teaming up to take down Omar before throwing hands against each other.  They fought each over to a standstill until Omar Pounced Razorblade into Jupiter.  Things got more intense and weird from there - Omar & Mason actually teamed up on the champ to hit Jones with a double spinebuster - but later, Jupiter and Mason dropped Littlefield with a double superkick. A wild sequence saw Jupiter Face Eraser Razorblade , then Omar muscle Jones into a Soul Crusher from Omar, who walked into a Razorblade Bolt From Olympus that left all three men splayed out and Detroit going crazy.  Towards the end Razorblade hit Jupiter with a Soul Crusher but inadvertently took out the ref in the process; this allowed Ig to slide a chair to Omar, but as he swung to turn off Jupiter's lights Razorblade shoved Jones down to take the bullet himself.  Omar was confused but then ate a chair assisted Bolt From Olympus that wiped him out, allowing Jupiter to flop on top of Omar and snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️

• 💫 Jupiter didn't even have time to celebrate before the new World Tag Team champions jumped him from behind.  Once he peeled himself off the mat, Omar joined in the attack and once he peeled himself off the mat a few beats later, Razorblade again came to Jones’ aid.  But the Republic had the numbers until Justine Davis sprinted to the ring and lived up to his name, evening the odds with the chair and blasting Pyotr with a shot that sent him to the floor.  The PPV ended with the Republic on the floor talking smack and holding up the World Tag Team championships while in the ring the reunited Savage Justice stood next to the man holding up the Fifteen Pounds of Gold, the legendary Jones 💫

• The “Invincible” open rolled after that with some tweaks made to it (more Keo Tevi, as well as more Justice Davis and Forbidden Book Club).  The Cavalcade of Champions adjusted as well, giving shine to the new Ig endorsed champions and ending the way Cold As Hell did with the clip of Jupiter holding up the title.  We’ve got pyro and screaming fans, but as our longtime announcers Steve Vandeblanche and Carl Christensen explained, the polar vortex has kept QCW in town past the PPV, so Commissioner Holmes had moved Friday night Ruckus to a place that knew a little bit about pro wrestling in the Motor City - the refurbished one revitalizes Huntington Place.  They hyped “Night Sky” Diana Spare vs. Bonnie Agrippa in a battle of longtime rivals and former tag partners as well as Beast Mode v. the International Players in Lucius Patton’s return to action before starting off the night’s action with the brash newcomer all over Quality Social all week long proclaiming that he was the real National champion…

• 1. Genesis King d. “The Fury” Jim Jaspers at 8:15 King came to the ring and cut a promo to the camera on his way down the ramp stating that he was the real National champion, for the reasons you saw in the CAH recap package.  That focus on Orion and the Natty led him to get in early trouble against the hard hitting Jaspers, who duffed him up repeatedly.  An increasingly desperate King began to hide behind the ref or duck between the ropes to force timeouts but he couldn't stop Jaspers’ offensive flow; after getting his bell rung by a pump knee strike, Genesis fell out between the middle and bottom ropes and hit the floor.  But this turned out to be a bit of a Rope-A-Dope from King, as when Old Jim went to the outside to gather him up Genesis suddenly lashed out with a drop toe hold that sent Jim into the ring apron neck first.  Jaspers gagged and staggered away only to stumble into a crucifix driver that sent the brawling Brit headfirst into the steps and cut the back of his head open.  King made sure to take advantage from there and proceeded to beat Jim bloody before hitting his Crowned finisher on Jaspers to score the three count.  After winning with his electric chair Michinoku Driver, Genesis cut another promo to the hard camera to threaten that the next time he saw Orion he’d drop that masked freak on their head and prove that the price for laying hands on a King were to pay in blood or relinquish all ill gotten gains to the one they bowed to.  That was his belt Orion was walking around with, but it was only a matter of time before he had the physical belt to hold up all right of his abs.  

• As he was preening for the camera, “The Old Guard Is Dead” hit the PA and out marched the Republic: a dozen guards, followed by a scowling Omar Littlefield, then an unctuous Ig de Catur and lastly the new World Tag Team champions in Pyotr Caviar and Malicía Fernandez.  King looked around awkwardly as he moved to the side, but Ig merely shook hands with Genesis and made the hand sign for “call me”.  The gang all hit the ring, Pyotr and Malicía raising up their belts to trigger a bunch of white and gold pyro both up from and down on the stage behind them.

• Once the music and boos died down, Ig plugged his company by saying they were proud to present the best tag team in QCW and made Duck announce them as the new World Tag Team champions.  de Catur crowed that it only took him a matter of weeks to turn the Pyotr/Malicía unit into the class of the tag team division and it’d taken an illegal chair in a virtual handicap match to temporarily stop Omar from regaining the World championship that should really be his.  But that minor setback wouldn't detract from a night of celebration, for what these mouth breathers were looking at was not only the measuring stick for tag team excellence but for excellence in QCW, period.  Ig still had eyes on that shady thief Orion and his National championship (de Catur having introduced the title a couple of years ago) and once Omar got a rightful one on one match he’d send Old Man Jones to the retirement home and bring the World championship back where it belonged.  All the belts in QCW were the rightful property of the Republic, and they’d prove it by becoming the first faction to ever hold every championship in QCW at the same time -  the first ever Triple Crown faction in QCW history.  Collipark had stolen a World title from them, so they took two World titles in response.  

• Ig let out a wheezing cackle and was in the middle of further hyping up his goon squad before “All My Life” hit the PA.  Ig’s head whipped up the ramp just in time to see Justice Davis part the Qualitron and bask in big cheers from the Quality Controllers.  He began by saying that it felt great to walk out in front of them a free man in QCW again, and what he wanted to do with that freedom was punch Ig in the face.  The crowd loved that but JD allowed that since Ig had the habit of hiding behind a gang of other people, he’d punch any of them in the face tonight here in the Motor City.  Ig began to have a comeback when Littlefield ripped the mic out of his hands and said that Davis didn't get to say things like that in his hometown and think he was going to walk out alive; hell, after Omar got done flossing with him he wouldn't be walking at all.  Justice said after having Caleb poison his career for six months that he wasn't shook by Omar’s threats.  He’d go to Commissioner Holmes and go one-on-one with Omar…then Omar could go crying to his sugar daddy when he lost another main event.  The crowd oohed as Justice left without another word while Omar shoved aside a couple of members of Republic Enforcement before Pyotr and Malicía had to hold him back (at least for the time being).  Ruckus went to commercial break with Ig trying to talk a furious Littlefield back from the brink.

• 2. Ashok Banerjee (w/Jacques Krieger) d. Gerry Greene (w/Ian Cook) at 5:09 Ashok has been fighting his way up the ladder since returning from the Hysteria blinding and has now strung together a few consecutive wins.  Here in this match of former Catch Hell champions Banjerjee overcame a cheap shot right after the bell from Greene and Gerry’s early offense while Carl ended up confirming that Justice Davis vs. Omar Littlefield would be tonight's main event.  The Boundless Banjerjee shifted the match with his Destroyer DDT and rolled from there, winning with the Decolonizer Driver to go 2-0 in Detroit this week.  A usually stoic Krieger had a sly smile on his face as they headed to the back after the win.  

• What rolled after Ashok’s win was a previously online only video that was filmed at Cold As Hell, where an off screen interviewer (JD3) asked the leader of the Chosen, “the Purifier” Caleb Gray what was next after losing to Justice Davis and losing control over his contract as a result.  Gray was clearly upset but soon composed himself and said that now that the weak and the unbelievers had been cast out, it was time to leave behind internecine squabbles and focus on what he came back to QCW to do - preach the evangel and do so from the highest heights possible without a quaver in his voice.  To put it simply for the heathens - in a Godless place such as QCW, he whomst carries the gold makes the rules.  JD3 tried to ask Goody Gardner a follow up question about Justice gaining his freedom, but Caleb directed the End Times to intimidate Jules and the cameraman before squiring Goody away.

• 3. “Sinister” Sarah Fowler & Midsomar d. Mean Season at 4:21 Domination from the black hats here, who came into this salty after Fowler's narrow loss to “Cambodian Cool” Keo Tevi on Sunday's preshow.  Poor Gaia Green and Winter Wonderland were grist for the mill as they got stomped out especially by a pissed off Fowler.  A basement rana driver on Wonderland by Sarah closed the deal.  We went to commercial break with Fowler & Midsomar stomping their way to the back, Fowler hissing at some booing fans lining the ramp way.

• We came back to a sizzle reel for the Undaunted, the former Catch Hell Wrestling League tag champions and proud Irishmen who's self confidence and high flying offense have made them international superstars.  Tim “the Only Hope” McMurray and “Unforgettable” Dave Mullin begin to show off their championship pedigree as full time members of the QCW roster next Friday night.  Speaking of action coming from the tag team division…

• 4. The International Players (w/Collipark) d. Beast Mode (w/Lolo Vuitton) at 8:24 The return of the Players was punctuated with a hard fought victory over the brash Mode.  The representatives from Collipark stayed even through a feeling out process, then took the upper hand after a double flapjack laid out “Dashing” Pierce Moore.  Lucius Patton and Benjamin Valentino showed why they were former tag champions over the next couple of minutes as they took it to Moore, causing Lolo Vuitton to hop up on the apron to distract the referee.  While she did that, Roy Fade slipped into the ring and delivered a hangman that necked Patton against the top rope before pulling Pierce to their corner then tagged himself in.  Fade came in and worked over Patton with body shots before tossing him with a belly to belly suplex.  Fade continued to work over Lucius and went for the Decision once he’d driven Patton to his knees but as he came in Patton came over the top with a flying forearm that left both men out on the mat.  They both managed to beat the 10 count and tag out, which led to Benjamin Valentino whupping up on Pierce Moore.  This eventually prompted Fade to come in for another save that triggered a Pier 4.  

• But Valentino managed to rake the eyes of Moore, who staggered around the ring.  Patton shoved Fade into his path, and a blinded Moore accidentally laid out his partner with his Fresh To Death cutter.  That was the beginning of the end for Mode, and Pierce got double teamed - hit with the Playa Hata in short order - and ate the L.  The Players hit their trademark pose on the floor while the announce team debated how long it would be before the Players got a shot at their old belts.  Vuitton made sure to curse out her running buddies as Collipark left.

• Before our last commercial break tonight, we took a brief scroll through Quality Social.  We saw Serge Batroc and “the Proper Villain” Richard Windsor doing some in ring training but shaking hands after a drill - we then saw some video of Tre Boyd in a Texas recording studio with Paul Wall (the People's Champ!), and “Explosive” Emily Bennett at a protest in Minneapolis with an ICE OUT button on.  The piece ended with Carl noting that the usually - let's be kind and say verbose - Nazir el-Fadal hadn't been heard from since losing to Tre on Sunday night, and not only that, he’d deleted all his social media accounts as of Monday morning.  More Ruckus after the break.

• 5. “Night Sky” Diana Spare (w/Forbidden Book Club) d. Bonnie Agrippa (w/Hysteria) at 9:40 The night’s hardest hitting match probably came in the semi main event between these celebrated former tag partners turned bitter, years long rivals.  Notably for this one, Spare had backup from the FBC’s Luz Cruz and Shelley LaVey, who served as counterparts to Bonnie having backup from Nancy Crowley and Bella Jolie; noticeable by her absence was Justine Danek after Crowley accidentally blinded her Sunday night.  

• Smack talk right before and after the bell turned into a pair of slaps and then a straight up hockey fight that Bonnie decided to win with a lengthy rake of Spare’s right eye.  Detroiters booed this lustily but they nor Diana could stop Bonnie from hitting a slingshot facebuster to take control early or following it up with alternating stomps and flash elbow drops.  After the fourth, Bonnie got to her feet with a sneer on her face and a glob of spit that almost hit LaVey and caused them to exchange “pleasantries”.  Bonnie refocused on the match, dropping Spare with a falling reverse DDT - but when it looked like she was about to launch into her Eclipsing the Light finishing sequence, Diana shoved her off and a Foleyesque clothesline sent both women tumbling to the floor.  Buoyed by a surge of energy and change in environment, Spare grabbed Agrippa by the hair and bounced the leader of Hysteria’s head off the announce table eight times before tossing her roughly into the steps as the crowd became unglued.  Diana rolled into the ring briefly to break the referee’s ten count before rolling back out and throwing Agrippa into the ring post driving Bonnie to her knees before she went limp on the floor.  Nancy and eventually Bella came around the corner to advance on Spare but got stopped in their tracks by the advancing FBCers, allowing Diana to trash talk Bonnie for being a “joke of a leader”, amongst other jibes.  A revitalized Night Sky got Bonnie back in the ring and emptied the offensive tanks, only to find Bonnie a tougher out than she might've wanted to give credit for.  Agrippa ate a double revolution Black Hole Slam that rattled the ring but managed to kick out at 2.9 - similarly, moments later Spare wiped her out with a pop up Michinoku Driver that saw Bonnie kick out at the death.  Spare seethed over the count for a couple of beats before cinching up the High Priestess of Hysteria and looking for Nightfall…only for Agrippa to reverse with a Crowley styled Code Black that flattened Diana out.  Bonnie staggered up to her feet first with a little help from the middle rope and snatched Diana up, beginning to end it with Eclipsing the Light – but when she went to cap the rolling suplexes with a brainbuster, Spare hooked her with an inside cradle and kept her shoulders down for the three count.  

• Diana rolled out of the ring as Nancy and Bella slid in, both fuming over Diana having pulled out the sneaky W.  Luz and Shelley helped Spare get to her feet so she could get her hand raised by the ref and made sure to razz the upset Crowley and clearly stewing Jolie, who alternated glaring at the babyfaces on the floor and looking down at the recovering Agrippa.

• Ahead of the main event, Steve and Carl hyped up some of what's to come on 💫 next week's Ruckus 💫: the Undaunted will return to QCW’s tag team division, now as full time members of the roster 💫 the main event of the Pure Massacre supershow in two weeks ago will be announced 💫 and in a non-titles match, the International Players will face Pyotr Caviar and Malicía Fernandez of the Republic; you gotta assume the former tag champions can get a shot at their old belts with a win over the new champs

• And with the hype train pulled into the station, it was main event time.

• 6. Justice Davis (w/Jupiter Jones & Mason “Razorblade” Savage) d. Omar Littlefield (w/the Republic) by disqualification at 8:26 OJ,Ruckus ended with a bit of chaos yet again in the latest battle between the Republic and the pro QCW forces.  Steve noted as JD came out that this was probably his biggest match ever against a two time former World champion; Justice didn't let that or the size disparity get to him early as he opted to employ a hit and run attack that alternated quick flurries of forearms with some thigh kicks in the Hope of knotting up Omar’s quad to undermine his base.  A series of clotheslines backed Omar towards the ropes and a textbook running dropkick sent him over the top.  Justice tried to follow up with a cannonball off the apron, only for Omar to catch him and swing him into the retaining barrier - then the ring post - then into the barrier again - then the post again.  Davis lay in almost the fetal position on the floor while Omar got bleeped while he reminded the crowd just who ran things still in Detroit and QCW.

• Omar bundled up Justice and tossed him in the ring, targeting the ribs and back with clubbing forearms to wear out the former World Tag Team champion.  Littlefield showed why he was one of QCW’s best as he repeatedly tossed Davis around the ring like he was a balled up piece of paper and the canvas was a trash can.  Even when JD managed to land kicks that would fell a lesser opponent, Omar essentially shrugged them off before planting Justice with a two handed choke bomb that rattled the ring.  After a couple of high distance biels Littlefield put Davis in the drop zone before further injuring Davis’ ribs by hitting a Vader bomb.  Omar signaled for the end and hoisted his opponent up for the Face Eraser but JD used his proximity to the corner and hooked his boots into the top rope before turning to sit safely on the turnbuckle.  Omar turned and charged once he realized he’d failed to drop Justice but charged right into a massive JD cannonball from the high rent district.  Both men were down for a spell, but it was Justice who got to his feet while Omar was still on his knees; JD took advantage of the situation by planting Omar with a basement version of the JDDDT.  It left Omar groggy but still trying to regain verticality, so Justice repeated the move two more times to leave the massive Littlefield face down and barely moving.  The crowd sounded primed for the upset as JD went to the opposite corner and slapped his knee a few times to signal he was going to put a capstone on the fight with Justice Is Served.  Davis came flying out of the corner looking for his trademark Busiaku knee – but instead what he got was picked off out of the air by a Russian sickle from Pyotr Caviar, causing the red to call for the bell and give David the win via disqualification.  

• The Republic didn't care about that, as Pyotr, Omar and the incoming Malicía Fernandez began to stomp Justice out as the Detroit Quality Controllers jeered the 3 on 1 attack.  The beating went on for a bit before “Unscripted Violence” hit the PA to the roars of the crowd.  Razorblade was in the building, and he wasted no time vaulting the barrier and having his partner’s back.  The Grand Slam winner threw his meat hook rights and put some dents in the hired goons of the Republic, but they still had the numbers advantage.

• Then “B.O.B.” hit the PA, the College Park Family hit the scene, and all five of them made a beeline for the ring.  Ig de Catur ordered his troops to get out of the ring before Collipark could get in it, and the black hats beat a hasty retreat.  The International Players helped Savage Justice to their respective feet while Jupiter Jones and Science Fiction Double Feature barked down to the Republic on the floor that this wasn't over just yet.  As the Republic took their leave through the crowd, Ig said his associates weren't going to stop until they’d gotten rid of Collipark and Omar had his World championship back.  As Steve urged us to tune in for next week's Ruckus, both sides continued talking smack until we faded to black.

• The show opened with a Holiday In Cambodia recap video package.  Stills of Pyotr Caviar beating Benjamin Valentino, Beast Mode stomping out the Glam Squad to get disqualified and Lolo Vuitton beating “Cambodian Cool” Keo Tevi, then a teary eyed Tevi being offered a full time QCW contract from Commissioner Holmes turned into longer videos that showed highlights from the main card:

• Tre Boyd mugging for the cameras, but also too quick for Serge Batroc to become the first one to defeat the Frenchman and win the 10,000 franc challenge 🇰🇭 Women's division stalwarts “Explosive” Emily Bennett, Ashley “THEE Influencer” Szabo and the newly reformed Forbidden Book Club of Luz Cruz and Shelley LaVey going up against Hysteria in a eight woman tag • the babyfaces clearing the ring in the early going and hitting dives almost simultaneously, but Hysteria being able to rebound enough to keep Shelley from tagging out the final ⅔rds of the match, Shelley taking both a spike brainbuster and Twelve Feet Under to give Bella Jolie the win and leave the babyfaces checking on Shelley 🇰🇭 🇰🇭 Nazir el-Fadal and Malicía Fernandez having a hard hitting match • Fernandez kicking out of a Hamrin Valley Driver at 1 • Malicía overpowering Naz and giving him a MF5 from the ring to the floor • but the One Man Jihad surviving the assault and managing to counter a Death Warrant with a doze of Nazquil to win 🇰🇭🇰🇭🇰🇭 

• the first of three title matches followed, Caleb Gray and Justice Davis of the Chosen going against Science Fiction Double Feature for the QCW World Tag Team championships • a titles change looked to be in the offering early as the Chosen rolled early with their size advantage • SFDF using speed and misdirection to run JD into Gray, then working over the leader of the Chosen - Cindy and Jane showing their cohesiveness as they wore down the former Duquesne Cup winner while keeping the current holder of the Cup at bay, a double dropkick sending Justice flying into the dividing barrier • SciFi hitting Roll Credits on Gray to retain the belts with Davis' save coming a couple seconds too late, allowing the women of Collipark to celebrate to the back - the End Times hitting the ring and looking at Caleb before all three men swarmed onto JD - the only thing stopping the beating was Goody Gardner shockingly throwing her body on top of Justice's to stop the assault from her teammates • Gray and the Times stopping beating on Justice but “the Purifier” browbeating Goody into following them to the back leaving Justice barely moving in the ring 🇰🇭🇰🇭🇰🇭🇰🇭 

• the unification match between National champion Orion and Women's World champion “Night Sky” Diana Spare starting off with a tense hybrid handshake and staredown • both going each other's finishers early, then trying to hit their opponent with their own finisher but getting stymied at that as well • Orion baiting Spare into a chase then low bridging her to the outside before following up with a tope suicida • The National champion landing combination offense and glancing at their National championship before going up top and flying off - only for Spare to pick Orion off and drive then down with a Black Hole Slam • Spare taking over and showing why they were on Wrestler of the Year lists, mixing hard forearms with big strikes, getting near falls on both a pop up Michinoku Driver and a spinning pendulum backbreaker • Spare going for Nightfall but Orion countering with a sunset flip leading to an exchange of rollups before Spare hit Nightfall only for Orion to get their foot on the ropes • Spare trying to hit it again only for Orion to hook themselves into the ropes, Spare pounding away and trying it again only for Orion to come over the top with a massive Galactic Destroyer that crumpled Diana, then Orion followed up with a Shining Wizard before hitting an Orion's Nebula • Spare trying to roll over to their side to avoid getting pinned only for Orion to heft them off the mat and drill another Nebula, getting the three count to retain their belt and decommission Diana's • Orion celebrating on the turnbuckles as Spare regained consciousness, yanking the National title away from the referee just in time for Orion to stop celebrating • Orion advancing on Spare…who offered a handshake that Orion eventually took • Spare raising Orion's hand before fastening the National title around their waist, saying a few brief words before rolling from the ring • Orion going back to the turnbuckles to celebrate their title defense, excited fans throwing streamers into the ring to celebrate 🇰🇭🇰🇭🇰🇭🇰🇭🇰🇭 

• Commissioner Holmes coming out to proudly announce the Phnom Penh crowd setting a new record for attendance in company history at nearly 50,000 in National Olympic Stadium • the main event for the QCW World championship closing things out, the rest of the College Park Family seconding Jupiter Jones out as the QCW legend looked to dethrone Omar Littlefield, who as usual was backed up by the full force of the Republic including Caviar and Fernandez • the old chestnut Jones going against the surly young champ and Littlefield literally Pouncing on Jones the moment the bell rang • Omar absolutely swarming Jupiter, battering him with crossfaces, tossing him around the ring with multiple suplexes as Ig de Catur applauded the carnage at ringside • Omar continuing to pile on the brutality, hitting a trio of Vader Bombs before hitting his finishing Face Eraser DDT, Jupiter barely kicking out at 2.8 • Jones managing a brief rally before Omar cut it off with a tree slam and another Face Eraser that caused Jupiter to roll away from Littlefield and out to the apron • Omar hitting the ropes before hitting a lariat that sent Jupiter flying through the announce table • de Catur cackling and Omar sneering as Collipark rushed over to their leader • Jupiter not even moving until 7, saving the match with a desperation dive under the bottom rope at 9¾ • Omar landing some mocking kicks, increasingly pissing off Jones - but Omar laughed it off and slapped Jupiter - then backhanded him to send Mr. QCW sprawling into the ropes • Jupiter catching Omar with a Bolt From Olympus out of nowhere and Omar grinning evilly before going for another tree slam, but Jupiter kneeing him in the face to get away only to get lariated so hard Jones somersaulted through the air • Omar hitting another Face Eraser; Jones kicking out at 2 and looking absolutely possessed, shaking his head back and forth • the rest of Collipark pounding the apron and the fans clapping their hands as Jones got to his feet and spit in Omar's face • Littlefield wiping the spit off his face only to get slapped himself • Jupiter hitting a release German suplex and another, then dodging another attempted lariat before surprising Omar by hitting his old finisher The Thunder Rolls running powerslam before covering • Omar not only kicking out at 2 but goozling Jupiter before hitting a tree slam: Jupiter taking it and rolling to his feet before hitting a lariat of his own, a staggered Omar then getting planted with another Thunder Rolls • Ig jumping up on the apron only to eat a Bolt From Olympus and go down like he was shot • Republic Enforcement going to check on their boss while Pyotr and Malicía started to try and get in the ring, only to be cut off by Collipark, a brawl breaking out on the floor that was going Team Atlanta's way until it wasn't as REnforcement made it an 8 on 4 for the Republic • until Orion ran down to make it 8 on 5 • and Diana Spare on their heels to make it 8 on 6 • in the ring, Omar dodging a Bolt and hitting a shotgun dropkick that sent Jones flying and blew the back of his head out into the turnbuckles • Omar getting another Face Eraser set up when the Clipse started playing and Nazir el-Fadal not only coming to get involved but with Greetings From Hayt Corner in hand • the One Man Jihad landing some shots with his bundle of barbed wire kendo sticks before getting swarmed • the 8 on 7 rolling on and Omar going for another Face Eraser and hoisting up Jupiter…right as “Unscripted Violence” hit the PA and the crowd erupted as Razorblade returned to QCW for the first time since Omar beat him in ¡lucha muerte! at Dia de los Muertos and glaring daggers at Omar before pulling out a shopping cart full of plunder and riding it down to ringside, making things 8 on 8 and arming the babyfaces as Omar scowled and went for another Face Eraser…but Jupiter got free by kicking off the turnbuckles then hitting a Bolt From Olympus • and another that sent Omar to his knees • and another laid Omar out • the screen went to black but you could hear the crowd count three • bedlam, bedlam, bedlam • Jones looking shocked • Collipark cheering their mentor • Spare silently giving a quick fist bump • Orion applauding • Naz not so much • and Razorblade giving a small, sarcastic chuckle as Jupiter got announced as the new World champion • the members of the Republic looking at the ring either battered, stunned or both • Jupiter bowing his forehead into the title he hasn't held in nearly 4 years, now for the second time before standing up and getting his hand raised • Collipark hitting the ring for the celebration, all mobbing the new champion • fireworks going off from outside the stadium • some online fans going nuts • the rest of Collipark lifting Jones on their shoulders and showing him off to the fans on all four sides of the ring, stopping when they faced the aisle to look down on the Republic, Ig’s mouth still wide open while Omar fumed a step ahead of him and REnforcement kept him from getting back in the ring • Jones stepping onto the second rope and holding the QCW World championship overhead as even Steve and Carl hit the ring to congratulate Jones • the package ending with Jupiter letting out a joyous yell as he repeatedly slapped the Fifteen Pounds of Gold in triumph

• From there we zoomed into Quality Arena to see the crowd cheering and waving their signs for a few beats before we heard Duck Eko say “Please help me welcome…the NEW QCW WORRRRRLD CHAMPION –” That was all you could hear before the crowd roared waves of cheers like a jet engine, and even “Bombs Over Baghdad” struggled to be heard on the PA.  Out came the College Park Family in their trademark maroon and gold letterman jackets: the International Players first, Lucius Patton recovering quickly enough to be downgraded to a walking boot while Benjamin Valentino handed out some roses to boost his Q rating with some of the attractive female fans along the aisle - then the World Tag Team champions Science Fiction Double Feature, Jane Doe and Cindy Monet both with titles over their shoulders and slapping hands on their way to the ring after a successful titles defense on Sunday - and finally, the Legendary Jupiter Jones, who stayed on the ramp and took in the scene as maroon, white and gold confetti fell from the rafters.  Steve Vandeblanche introduced himself and Carl Christensen as Jones walked down the aisle signing signs and taking selfies with fans, saying it had taken a lot of help and three Bolts From Olympus but Jones had been able to topple Omar Littlefield and reclaim the Fifteen Pounds of Gold not only for himself after years without it, but reclaim it for QCW and leave the Republic title less at last.  Jones came to the center of the ring and lifted up the World title overhead as SFDF raised the World Tag Team titles themselves and an orgy of red, white and gold pyro exploded on the ramp and from the overhead rig to even more frenzied cheering.

• Jones got the mic from Duck Eko as the pyro died down, but he didn't get to speak for almost a minute once he did because the Quality Controllers were singing his name a la “Seven Nation Army”.  When Jupiter finally got to speak, he pointed out that College Park Family fit the song better, so the crowd pivoted and sang that for another 20 seconds while Carl talked about the rowdy start of the year here in QCW, and it was well earned at that.  Jupiter said that now that it was 2026, it meant he was celebrating his 15th anniversary in QCW.  His father, “Sweet” Curtis had left him a massive legacy he tried to fulfill by doing things the right way like his father did, show the next generation like the Players and Double Feature the respect needed to be shown every time you stepped into a QCW ring - and The New Champ had to stop because the “YOU DESERVE IT! 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾”  chants were too loud.  Jones looked down and smiled, causing Lucius to limp over, pat him on the back and loudly crow that Jupiter better get his head up because he needed to see all of this moment.

• Jones composed himself before continuing, saying that this moment seemed impossible even six months ago: he’d gotten fired by Ig de Catur for no reason, and the Family had lost the tag titles and seemed lost without him; hell, he’d even worried they were going to go their separate ways.  But the fans held him down like they always had, he’d gotten rehired and fought his way back to the top of the mountain, and after winning the main event in front of almost 50,000 he was back home in front of his people to say he stood proud and both feet down as the heavyweight champion of the world!  The crowd roared as Jupiter held up the belt again, but the moment was ruined by “The Old Guard Is Dead” hitting the PA.

• Eyes went to the ramp and then the concourse, but as Ig annoyingly cleared his throat into a mic it was revealed that he was speaking from one of the skyboxes flanked by the rest of the Republic in a human wall nine deep.  Ig tried to speak but got drowned out by thunderous chants of “ASSHOLE!”. de Catur glared at the crowd, giving Jupiter an opportunity to say that Ig already knew he was an asshole; if you wanted to piss him off, chant “loser!” instead.  Again, the crowd beat to Jupiter’s drum, and soon Quality Arena was awash in “LOSER!” chants.  Ig did a loud, fake laugh before threatening the crowd that he’d reach into his luxury couch and find enough money to buy the trailer parks they all lived in and get them all condemned to jeers.  Ig continued and said that Jupiter was going to be the one who got “Loser!” chanted at him, because next week his associate Mr. Littlefield was exercising his rematch clause and would destroy Jupiter en route to becoming a three time World champion…but Jones didn't have to wait a whole week to lose to the Republic.  How would he feel about a little main event tag tonight, hrm?  Him and the member of the International Players that could actually walk against Mr. Caviar and Miss Fernandez so he could do what he did best in the House That Ignacious Built - lose?  Jupiter had a response but Benjamin asked for and got the mic to say a couple things (1) you couldn't be speaking to The Champ that way in the house that he built, drawing applause before (2) it was a new year but Ig was the same old prick, so Benjamin would be happy to leave the love behind to shut him up because it would be the Republic who Collipark destroyed.  Jupiter added a “What he said!” before “Bombs Over Baghdad” hit the PA again, leaving both factions to glare and chirp at each other from a distance that would be far shorter later in the show if they got their respective ways.

• 1. Justice Davis d. Serge Batroc by disqualification at 6:24 An inauspicious debut for 2026 in ring action, as it seemed things were just hitting another gear between Jupiter and Serge right before the DQ.  The match had an early standstill with both men being of similar size, but Serge was able to tilt things slightly in his favor by taking JD down to the mat and showing off some of his technical skills.  Steve chimed in that the Collipark vs. Republic tag teased moments ago had been made official by Commissioner Holmes.  Back between the ropes, once he got the upper hand Serge got a bit too arrogant (as he is wont to do) and said he’d be giving a lesson in how to properly apply the Fujiwara armbar - when he turned back to apply it, Justice leapt off the mat with a flying cross armbreaker that had the former Duquesne Classic winner scrambling for the ropes.  Justice took command of the match after that and had just hit the JDDDT when out of nowhere Caleb Gray and the End Times hit the ring and went after Justice to cause the DQ.

• Serge hit a chop block on Davis before leaving the ring and heading to the back, leaving Justice to get dissected by the Chosen while Goody Gardner looked on mournfully from the aisle.  The End Times hit Justice with the Reckoning and if that wasn't enough, Gray picked up Davis’ limp body after he ate the tornado DDT Doomsday Device and added on his own finisher Repent.  Justice was done for after eating the crucifix elevated neckbreaker and while Quality Force Security came out to shoo the Chosen away and take them to the back, the damage had already been done.  Steve talked about how it was just like Caleb to blame Justice for their tag title loss at Holiday In Cambodia when Gray was the one who’d been pinned as we headed into the evening's first commercial break.

• We came back from break to see Commissioner Holmes direct QFS to eject the Chosen from the building for the evening.  When Gray protested that he had a match scheduled later on, Holmes hissed at him that the card was subject to change and repeated to QFS to get them gone.  As they were led out of Quality Arena, Julius Duquesne III caught up with them for a literal exit interview.  JD3 couldn't even get a question out before a frothing Gray said that he might not have a match tonight, but he was going to have one at Cold As Hell because he had control over Justice's contract until Cruel Summer - so he was going to give the heathen what he wanted - a rematch.  And Justice needed to understand that for letting down the Chosen, he was going to get the holy high hell beaten out of him.  Julius tried to get a follow up question directed to the clearly ambivalent Goody Gardner, but Gray shut that down quickly and said the interview was over.  The Chosen jumped in a white van with their logo on the side and drove out of the Arena; JD3 threw things to Duck Eko in the ring and the Voice of QCW made the introductions for our next contest…

• 2. Nazir el-Fadal d. Ian Cook (w/Gerry Greene) at 7:40 Naz keeps rolling along with his second win of the week over a bigger opponent.  Switching up his offensive, el-Fadal targeted Cook’s arm by hitting a single arm DDT early on and continuing it with European uppercuts to the arm and even a modified Codebreaker.  The Greatest Man Alive would get caught with a massive Northern lariat from Cook’s uninjured left arm but when he tried to follow up offensively he had problems grabbing holds or being able to throw Naz around.  The match turned again when Naz dodged a corner charge and Cook went flying into the ring post.  The One Man Jihad rolled to the outside and then added injury to injury by grabbing it and swinging it into the post five more times.  A one armed Cook wasn't going to win this ass kicking after that; Naz dominated the rest of the way and put the big Brit down with a massive Saito suplex and his Night Night hiptoss Michinoku Driver.  On his way to the back, Naz said he was getting tired of waiting but he didn't say what of - just that he was tired of waiting.

• Before the break, we got a This Week In QCW History segment: on New Year's Day 1959, construction began on the Qualitorium (the first home of QCW and progenitor of today's Quality Arena) and on January 5th, 1974, the first ever Duquesne Classic was held with “Cowboy” Jack Powers beats “Oilman” Abdul al-Ghul in the finals.

• 3. “Cambodian Cool” Keo Tevi d. Veronica Vespa at 5:16 Showcase match for Tevi, the newest addition to the QCW roster after an impressive showing on the Holiday In Cambodia preshow against Lolo Vuitton.  Vespa gave Teo a run but when Kevi got her knees up on a top rope senton it was the beginning of the end for QCW’s masked buzzkill.  Keo got her first win after hitting an oshigoroshi and a cracking shotei from a Rolling Thunder beginning.  Post match, the announcers put over Teo’s unique offense and hyped their potential to make some noise in QCW this year.

• 4. “The Fury” Jim Jaspers d. Drake Tremble at 9:00 This was Jaspers’ first match since losing the falls count anywhere Quality Choice against his ex partner Richard Windsor, and the adrift Drake caught the business end of his wrath.  Old Jim had some extra torque on his offense, most notably catching Tremble when he tried to bail and bouncing his head off the announce table 10x while the crowd (and Carl!) counted along.  Jaspers returned Drake to the ring and made quick work of him, ending things with a pump knee shot and a trip down to Fury Road.  As Jaspers headed to the back, Tremble slowly pulled himself off the mat and had to be informed by the referee that he had lost again.

• A video package ran to hype up the upcoming Cold As Hell PPV.  January 25th will see the first QCW PPV of 2026 emanate from the Little Caesars Arena in a return to Detroit for the first time in years.  Tickets are going on sale at noon EST Monday, so if you want to be there live you gotta get them fast.  

• Ruckus won't only be back after the break, we’ll have the return match of Razorblade; he’ll be up against the All Starr Stable’s Prince Ootsuka next!

• 5. Mason “Razorblade” Savage d. Prince Ootsuka (w/All Starr Stable) at 8:15 Wild start to this one as A Cut Above jumped Razorblade in the bleachers as he was coming out through the crowd and laid into him - longtime viewers recalling memories of their rivalry with Savage Justice over the tag team titles.  They got the advantage but Razorblade turned the tables by throwing Evan O’Neill into Broderick Palmer II which sent them both bouncing down the stairs.  As the med staff went to check on the former tag champions in the crowd, Razorblade hit the ring and walked into a thrust kick from Ootsuka that got him a long 2.  

• Ootsuka kept pressuring the returning Savage, but some people fold under pressure and Razorblade ain't one of them.  He proved his mettle yet again by standing up and getting in the Prince’s face after taking a buzzsaw kick to the temple; a clearly rattled Ootsuka didn't take long to be victimized by a King Kong lariat and the match was Razorblade's from there.  The first of what surely will be many Soul Crushers in 2026 put a button on the bout and looked to have S. Mark Starr rip the remaining hair out of his head.  Razorblade left the way he came with the Quality Controllers chanting his name to the rafters, so, you know, a normal Friday night in Parts Unknown - and you know that he isn't going to just stop with Ootsuka.

• Ahead of the main event, Steve hyped some big, big matches that’ll happen on next week's Ruckus 💫 we’ll see the ascendant Tre Boyd face off against the leader of the Chosen, “the Purifier” Caleb Gray 💫 Orion will defend the National title against Serge Batroc 💫 and in a rematch from Holiday In Cambodia, the Fifteen Pounds of Gold will be on the line as Jupiter Jones defends the World championship against the former champ Omar Littlefield with both the College Park Family and the Republic at ringside…and we’ll get a preview of that coming up right now!

• 6. Pyotr Caviar & Malicía Fernandez (w/Ig de Catur and the Republic) d. Jupiter Jones & Benjamin Valentino (w/Collipark) at 13:46 Unfortunately for the good folk of Parts Unknown, Ig's prophecy from the opening segment turned out to be true as his hired goons prevailed in this main event tag clash.  The World champ and his mentee found a way to be leading on points early; Jupiter could match power with either of his opponents and Benjamin Valentino could outquick them.  Collipark landed a series of double teams and managed to clear the ring to a big pop from the crowd.  But the match pivoted when they went for follow up dives only to get redirected by their opponents while they were in midair: Malicía caught Jupiter and chokeslammed him into the apron while Pyotr shoved Benjamin before his tope could connect and sent him flying into the steps.

• The Republic reps got some air in their lungs and recovered from Collipark's tandem offense while several replays confirmed for us at home that that had to have sucked for Benjamin and Jupiter.  With Valentino clearly messed up by the way he staggered up, the Republic focused their attack on him and began taking him apart piecemeal like a Thanksgiving dinner.  Malicía and Pyotr halved the ring and employed quick tags to stack their offensive power, and to make things worse for Jupiter he had to keep an eye on the outside as Omar harassed SFDF on the outside a couple of times and the first line of defense was a still recovering Patton.  Valentino managed to fight out of their corner late in the match and dove for a tag - but Malicía picked him off with a Pro Bowl catch and sent him splattering with a MF5.  She and Pyotr landed a double big boot to send Jupiter flying off the apron to the floor, then they pivoted to snatch Benjamin up with a double goozle and double chokeslam.  A three count later and the Republic had prevailed, and won clean at that.

• Ig made sure to let Steve and Carl know about his squad’s win, saying that in a week Omar would destroy Jupiter and take back the World title.  Away from the announce table, a recovering Jones rolled into the ring while the rest of Collipark joined him in checking on a recovering Valentino.  As Malicía and Pyotr left the ring, Omar slid into the ring, which triggered a wave of - let's say - concerned murmurs from the crowd.  Jones whipped his head around and ended up forehead to forehead with Omar, who let out a booming, raspy laugh and had words for the man who knocked him off the top of the mountain over in Phnom Penh.  “Seven days.” was all Omar said before log rolling out of the ring to join the rest of his squad on the floor.  Steve hyped the World title rematch next week as Ruckus ended.
