FDSN Florida Presents QCW Ruckus [s4e41 • September 19th, 2025]

📺 live on FanDuel Sports Network Florida

📍 Quality Arena in Parts Unknown, FL

  • Last Week On Ruckus: Malicía/Orion III for the National championship featured the highest of highs (Orion coming back from getting the brakes beat off of them to perfectly time an inside cradle and apparently win the belt) and the lowest of lows (Omar Littlefield smashed up the title before he, Ig de Catur and the rest of the Republic retreated with what was left of the belt saying that the win didn't happen and he would never recognize Orion as the National champion)

  • The normal opening began to roll but got cut off halfway through, as we had to go to the ring where Ig and the rest of the Republic were in or around it ahead of his face to face summit with Scott Holmes.  Ig was between the ropes, saying that just as easily as he shut down and took over the opening, the Republic would make his hostile takeover official after LockUp at AnniVersary.  Who would stop him?  Razorblade?  Pyotr would take care of him in the main event and give the Republic the team advantage inside his LockUp next Sunday.  Nazir el-Fadal?  The only thing that man would team with was a picture of himself.  He was a lost cause and would cause his side to lose. And Orion?!  Well, maybe the referee and all the Ig haters had missed it, but he saw Orion have a handful of tights AND Razorblade holding down Malicía's legs (neither of which actually happened, but, yunno, Ig logic) so he couldn't let that miscarriage of justice stand and took it upon himself to have his associate Mr. Littlefield destroy the belt.  There wouldn't even be a National Championship for QCW to have around were it not for him, and it had already been sullied by Razorblade enough this year.  But by someone he couldn't even Google?!  That was the last straw.  He wouldn't let his intellectual property be defamed like that and once the Republic took over after AnniVersary, Malicía would be reinstated as the National champion and any trace of Orion - or Razorblade, or the One Man Clown Show, for that matter - would be erased from the QCW history books and there was no one who would stop Ig or the Republic from seizing the reins of QCW.

  • Soundgarden's “My Wave” cut off Ig’s rant before it could get any further and brought out Scott Holmes to waves of applause from the Quality Controllers.  Despite literally being outnumbered 10:1, it didn't stop Holmes from getting into the ring and getting into Ig's face.  Holmes said that Ig might be able to hide the National championship behind his lawyers for a couple of weeks, and maybe the people he had lined up would fall to Ig’s goon squad but win or lose de Catur had to understand one thing - he would never have the reins of QCW.  QCW would always belong to the people who supported it like him instead of vultures like Ig who bought something trendy without building it themselves.  The crowd cheered but Holmes talked through it, saying that he had such faith in QCW that he was willing to send some of QCW’s best into Ig’s torture chamber to fight for it and win it back; he put over Orion’s dominance in their first year at QCW, and Naz and Razorblade being half of QCW’s all time Mt. Rushmore.  Ig looked thoughtful for a few beats, then sneered “Too bad none of them are here right now” right before Pyotr surged forward and wiped Holmes out with a Russian sickle, shocking the crowd who began jeering him roundly.  Ig cackled through the noise, saying there would only be 9 days until the old QCW would be dead and gone for good, and it was all for the better because long live the Republic, that's why!  Referees and the medical staff came out while Ghais Guevara played the Embassy out.  .As Steve and Carl ran down Pyotr for his actions and Ig for his words, you could see Holmes using the ropes to pull himself up.  Refs and the medical staff checked on Scott, who took a minute before walking off under his own power while holding the back of his neck.

  • Vandeblanche and Christensen welcomed us to the show and put over the Caviar/Razorblade team advantage match for tonight's main event as well as the #1 contendership match between former Women's World champions Luz Cruz and Lolo Vuitton as they both try to regain the Fifteen Pounds of Gold before throwing things to Duck Eko in the ring, as the Voice of QCW made the introductions for tonight's opener…

  • 1. Jonathan Livingston Clipper Esq. d. “Dashing” Pierce Moore (w/Beast Mode) at 7:25 Debut of the sultan of smooth sailing, Clipper Esq. up against a former champion in Moore.  Pierce clearly didn't take JLCE seriously early on until Jon rolled out of the ring and commandeered the mic from Duck Eko and got approval from the fans by suggesting he was a little bit more Dashing than Pierce was.  That infuriated the vain Moore, who then proceeded to walk into some judo throws and open handed palm strikes as the crowd got behind Clipper.  It took a timely distraction from Lolo Vuitton a few beats later to allow a window for Moore to land a blindside cheap shot and start going to work, firmly pushing things onto his side of the ledger when he fended off a facebuster attempt and countered with Lolo’s signature buckle bomb.  After driving the air out of Clipper and playing with his food for a couple more minutes, Moore called for the end and set up for his Fresh To Death cutter but got distracted by the sudden arrivals in a skybox of Sky's the Limit along with some members of Quality Force Security.  Moore and the rest of Mode started taunting Limit, challenging them to come down and fight them after what had gone down last week when Mode had laid them out.  While that was playing out, Clipper suddenly rolled Pierce up…but Moore kicked out a little bit after 2.  Both men were up but JLCE shot out with a shotei looking strike right in the kidney before underhooking Moore and laying him out with a sudden Wing Clipper that got him his first win in QCW and had the rest of Beast Mode losing their minds on the floor.  Clipper scrambled out of the ring as “These Hands” Roy Fade and Lolo Vuitton hit it, shaking the referee’s hand after getting it raised and backing his way up the ramp.

  • We went from the ramp to a skybox, where Naomi Lee started to interview Sky's the Limit.  Theoretically she was there to interview all four of them but Tre Boyd took it over and made sure to clown Moore for losing to Hall or Oates or onenadem.  He said he wanted to get their hands on Mode after they jumped them from behind last week, but instead he went to Scotty Boy Holmes and cut a deal: they wouldn't get physically involved in Beast Mode matches tonight and would chill up here in the VIP…so long as come AnniVersary, he and Kam could get their get back on Bitch Made.  When Naomi pointed out while stifling a laugh that they were called Beast Mode, Boyd said the Gospel had to call it like he saw it.  Once they put those boys in the rearview, it wasn't like he forgot - he was still coming for the National championship no matter who had it, because they were just keeping it warm for him.  He had another laugh at Beast Mode’s expense right before Naomi teed up the first commercial break of the evening.

  • 2. “The Purifier” Caleb Gray and “the Righteous” Justice Davis (w/the Chosen) d. The International Players at 6:42 Another sadly listless loss for the former champion Players, as has been the case for the last few months.  This was the first time old rivals Gray and JD had teamed in traditional tag action but the last two winners of the Duquesne Cup got along well enough, save the end where Gray demanded the tag after JD had laid out Benjamin Valentino with his Busiaku knee.  Justice stewed for a few beats before making said tag, allowing Gray to add an unnecessary Deliverance and get the pin.  Justice seemed ready to back him up but Lucius Patton didn't even try to break up the fall.

  • While Caleb and Justice got their hands raised, the End Times and Drake Tremble hit the ring to pile on and stomp out Benjamin.  This finally seemed to get Patton out of his stupor, but things turned into a 4 on 2 when Caleb helped while Justice looked conflicted about what was happening.  Interestingly enough, Goody Gardner didn't look super enthused about what was going down either.  Suddenly a man in a hoodie jumped in the ring and began pulling the Chosen off and when Drake Tremble stepped to him, “the Paragon” blocked a Superman punch with his face.  The hood slid off his shoulders…to reveal JUPITER JONES.

  • …well, then!

  • The Quality Controllers went nuckfuts as the sudden reemergence of the QCW legend Ig de Catur fired back in the spring took the whole Arena by surprise.  And it wasn't like there was only one Bolt From Olympus in the chamber, as both members of the End Times went for a double team maneuver on Jones only for both Danny Castle and Dr. Martin Williams to eat Bolts themselves.  Jones turned his sights towards victim #4 but when he went to drop Caleb Gray with one, “the Purifier” pulled Justice in its path and bailed out of the ring as Davis ate it and went down in a heap.  Caleb looked rattled on the floor as he went “to protect Goody” as the crowd roared, but as Jupiter went to pull up his students the Players the reaction turned 180° as Quality Force Security hit the scene.  Jones had some words of encouragement for his boys before QFS removed him from the ring, and Jones put up no resistance on his way to the back.  Caleb and Goody steered clear as the purple shirts led Jupiter up the ramp and out of the building, the chants of “WE WANT JUPITER!” echoing loud and proud from the capacity crowd for at least a full minute straight.

  • Steve and Carl were plenty agog at the desk over Jones’ save having not seen him in months before eventually throwing to a highlight package centered on last year's AnnIVersary show, which somehow feels like it happened in the Paleolithic Era: Caleb Gray beat Ashok Banjerjee in a title unification match to entrench the National and admitted to setting the Black Friday ‘23 fire of Quality Arena in a moment that would officially birth and name the Chosen 💫 Nazir el-Fadal cheated to beat Autumn Powers in a #1 contendership match to force her to leave town (will we ever see her again? It's her time of year and everything) 💫 Luz Cruz shockingly turned heel in an eight woman tag to reveal herself as the leader of Hysteria (like most things in life, that worked until it didn't) 💫 and Razorblade became the first person in QCW to pin Omar Littlefield after a bloody street fight to end his first reign of terror and win the World title.  Babyfaces came out to celebrate, then Commissioner Holmes handed him a new and unscarred title belt; a beautiful moment ruined by Naz coming out to sarcastically golf clap at the proceedings.  The subsequent face to face staredown to end the show would kick off a series of events that led to last year’s ¡lucha muerte! World championship match at Dia de los Muertos the next month that won nearly universal acclaim as QCW’s 2024 Match of the Year.

  • 3. Lolo Vuitton (w/Beast Mode) d. Luz Cruz at 9:29 to become the #1 contender to the Women's World championship Vuitton kept up her winning ways in this battle of former Women's World champions and will now get to face “Night Sky” Diana Spare at AnniVersary for the Fifteen Pounds of Gold as a result.

  • It was a coin flip in the early moments, both women pulling out multiple counters to the other's offense before Vuitton got a shady upper hand by barrel rolling into Cruz.  Luz tried to retreat into a corner to recover but Lolo hit a flurry of chops and then body blows before dismissively sweeping Cruz’s legs out from under her to set up a facewash that almost sent Lolo’s designer wrestling boots into the camera.  As Lolo began to take over the fight, a cut to backstage showed Spare watching on a monitor; her face didn't give away any rooting interest but crackled with her trademark intensity.  Lolo continued chaining together offense and even cribbed a high altitude dropkick from the Cruz playbook for a nearfall.  Lolo went after Cruz and earned a solid upper hand with a couple of minutes of hard work, snuffing a brief La Reina rally with a powerbomb followed by a buckle bomb.  Lolo came around to end it with a Bloody Shoe only for Luz to catch her coming in with a Stun Gun.  Cruz followed up by flying off the second rope to take Lolo down with a huracanrana.  Keeping the pressure on, Cruz hit a massive dropkick that sent Vuitton out between the ropes and spilling to the floor.  Luz got her motor revving before wiping out Vuitton with a step up tope con hilo.

  • With things in her favor now, once she recovered from the dive she tossed Lolo back in the ring and went to work, wearing Lolo down and hitting a nice dragon whip kick that got a nearfall.  Luz went for a Gory Especial neckbreaker late but Lolo looked like she would be able to reverse it into a poison rana until Cruz powered up and delivered a sort of hybrid buckle bomb and inverted Alabama Slam that looked like a back alley dental exam and sent Vuitton reeling out of the corner.  Luz made the sign of the cross behind Vuitton’s back and went up to deliver ¡MUERTE! but when she went for the second part of her double jump poison rana, Lolo shoved her and sent her face first into the steel connectors between the ringpost and the turnbuckles.  Cruz fell back in the ring looking like a pile of dirty laundry and had to use the ropes to pull herself up in the corner; it took maybe a second and a half after she did for Lolo to connect on a vicious Bloody Shoe to win the match and punch her ticket to AnniVersary.  As the referee checked on a slightly bleeding Cruz, Vuitton hit some buckles and celebrated, saying loudly it was only a matter of time until title #4 came home to her.  A chyron came up for the Spare/Vuitton Women's World championship match to come a couple of Sundays away at AnniVersary before FDSN Florida fired up some commercials.

  • 4. Glam Squad d. Glory Days at 5:37. Our return from the break began with a showcase match for the newly formed Squad, who bonded over a shared interest in being mean zaddies to their haters and looking fabubu while doing it.  The “Whoa, Bundy!”s didn't put up too much of a fight before Cliff Foster went down to a double chickenwing x flying bulldog combination they call Too Damn Glam and “Fahrenheit” Freddie Valsada secured the win.  The announce pointed out their continued success and wondered if they could keep it up long enough for them to angle their way into titles shot contention…right before the lights flickered in QA and a simple two word message began flashing on the Qualitron 9004:

  • t a r g 3 t s  a c q u 1 r e d

  • And just like that, w @ s t 3 l a n d e r s attacked Freddie and Cole Grant from behind after running in from the crowd.  They put up a decent fight but the fresher heels won and laid them both out with their Wasted finisher.  The Quality Controllers showered them with boos but it's not as if f @ l l 0 u t or m 3 l t d 0 w n have ever cared about that sort of thing, and they stomped off to the back the moment some of the referee corps hit the scene having made their point.

  • Before the break we took a trip in the wayback machine, as On This Date In QCW History in 1956 “the Iron Irishman” Paddy O’Grady won a one night tournament to become the first ever QCW (eventually World) champion, besting Guiseppi “the Modern Day Caesar” Giuliani in a best of 3 falls final that went nearly an hour and a half before he won.  Pretty dope to see the old footage get digitized and Ruckus rolled on after the break.

  • 5. Bonnie Agrippa & Nancy Crowley of Hysteria (w/Justine Danek & Bella Jolie) d. The Wonderful Ward Brothers (w/Anton Stahl) at 9:06 in a non-titles match Out to make a statement now that the champions vs. champions match for the QCW World Tag Team championships is official for AnniVersary, Bonnie and Nancy not only showed why they were the current champs and the Wards were former champs, they seemed to ratchet up their already sadistic glee a level against the Canadians.  Jason and Rich weren't as pretty once this one was over while both Agrippa and Crowley were loud enough to be heard without mics that this was what was in store for the Undaunted when they tried to take their belts from them come next Sunday.  While it wasn't an outright squash, Hysteria easily controlled >70% of the match and put things to rest with their trademark spike brainbuster, Crowley hooking both of Rich’s legs on the winning pinfall.  The champs showed off their belts and yelled “BEST.  TAG TEAM.  IN THE WORLD!” before disappearing in their usual temporary blackout bit.

  • 💫 Next week’s Ruckus 💫 is the last one before the biggest show in company history and we’ll see not only a preview of AnniVersary | but in a preview intergender trios match, Beast Mode will go up against the Cooper Brothers from Sky's the Limit and the Women's World champion “Night Sky” Diana Spare | and the main event will see Nazir el-Fadal and Orion team up for the first time to face off against the Republic in the World champion Omar Littlefield and Malicía Fernandez

  • With the four of them engaged next week, it left two men to fight over which side would walk into LockUp at AnniVersary with the advantage.

  • 6. Pyotr Caviar (w/Ig de Catur, the Republic and Republic Enforcement) d. Mason “Razorblade” Savage (w/Orion) at 15:25 in a team advantage match Unfortunately for all decent minded people, Caviar used a little help from his new friends to secure victory; the Republic now have secured the upper hand at AnniVersary.  As you might expect given the participants, this was less catch as catch can and more catch this fist with your face.  The bout began with both men throwing haymakers that connected more often than not, a slugfest that took a couple of minutes to go Caviar’s way.  Once it did, however, it happened in a flash: Razorblade ducked too soon when he was maybe looking for a spinebuster, and Caviar booted him up before enveloping him with a running crossbody.  The bigger Caviar played bully ball for the next couple of minutes, and every time it looked like Razorblade would about to be getting out from under Caviar would once again target the midsection or in one impressive counter floor Savage with a pop up European uppercut that got him 2⅔.  Ig barked marching orders at Pyotr, who hit consecutive rolling gutwrench suplexes before putting the former World champion in a bearhug.  Orion rallied the crowd behind Razorblade (they didn't need much prompting for that) and Savage began showing off his steadfast fighting spirit, rocking Pyotr with a series of bell claps to get free.  The newest member of the Republic tried to drop Savage with another running crossbody, but this time Mason not only caught him but managed to power him over with a ring rattling fallaway slam.

  • With both men down we got a couple of replays of Razorblade's feat of strength.  Both men got to their feet at nearly the same time but it was Savage who was quicker on the draw, landing a Cactus clothesline that sent both men over the top rope - but he landed sitting on the apron while Caviar hit the floor.  As de Catur was yelling at Pyotr to shake it off, Razorblade was busy going to the second rope before flying off with a crossbody of his own that sent both of them through the announce table to the massive shock of everyone in QA.  As that wore off and gave way to “Holy shit!” chants, replays fired off without commentary.  The referee looked for a long while as if they were going to be ruling over a double countout, but Razorblade eventually got out of the wreckage and rolled in at 8.  Caviar was right behind him and almost stumbled towards Ig, who pointed him to the ring so that he could get in at 9 ⅞ to save the match.  Razorblade hit the ropes once he confirmed Pyotr had beat the count, then hit the ropes behind Caviar.  The Tracksuit Tsar went for a Russian sickle that Savage ducked so he could hit a third set of ropes before coming off with a massive lariat of his own that sent the massive Russian corkscrewing through the air before splattering on the mat.  Razorblade got a cover and hooked both legs but Pyotr still managed to kick out at 2¾.

  • Now with momentum on his side, Razorblade emptied the offensive tanks to try and keep Pyotr down for three: he snuffed out a pop up European uppercut and hit a double arm DDT, then quickly followed it up with another - but Pyotr kicked out late again.  Ig tried to get involved but Razorblade scared him off the apron; this distraction allowed Caviar to hit a Russian sickle but Razorblade didn't go down.  Instead, he fell back into the ropes before bull rushing Pyotr and planting him with a spinebuster.  Both men were down for a few beats before Savage was able to flop on him with a lateral press…but at 2.9 Caviar snaked his adidas onto the bottom rope much to the relief of the Republic.  It looked like a barely recovering Caviar was trying to get out of the ring but it turned out to be a ruse so he could snap the top rope into Savage's neck and buy himself some much needed time.  Caviar charged in with another try at a running crossbody but Razorblade countered it with a big boot to the jaw.  Caviar began to fall on him but Mason got low and slowly began to power Caviar up.  His legs began to wobble a bit before he let out a yell of his own then powered Pyotr up and dropped him with a Death Valley Driver that had Steve and Carl freaking out behind the shards of the announce table.  Razorblade used Pyotr’s fallen body to help himself get vertical, then pointed to the corner and made a throat slash gesture.  Savage dragged Caviar towards the ropes and began to set up the Soul Crusher…right before Omar and Malicía bum rushed Orion and started cheap shotting the Cosmic Superstar.  Razorblade's head pivoted towards the fight on the floor right before “So Be It” from Clipse hit the PA.

  • Nazir el-Fadal not only parted the Qualitron 9004, he came armed with a steel chair.  REnforcement came up the ramp to try and stop the One Man Jihad but he started swinging like Ohtani and the blue shirts starting going down like Mary J.  Naz was trying to make his way towards Orion as the referee focused on the fight on the floor, saying they couldn't bring that to the ring - and missed Ig on the other side of the floor tossing up a fountain pen to Pyotr, who immediately jabbed it into Razorblade's forehead before the zebra could turn around.  On the floor Malicía and Orion were throwing hands against each other just like Omar and Naz were but in the ring, Caviar not only slipped free from the Soul Crusher after the pen jab - he came down with all 280 pounds on Savage’s back to drive his banged up midsection into the top turnbuckle.  Razorblade fell into the ring and Caviar lumbered his way down from the top rope.  Ig yelled out something in Russian, and Caviar yelled something back before leveling Savage with a discus Russian lariat.  Pyotr hooked both legs and to the disgust and shock of the crowd got the three count; the Republic gain the advantage for LockUp next Sunday.

  • Ig hit the ring to celebrate with Pyotr, and about two seconds after he got his hand raised by the referee Naz absolutely walloped him in the back with a chair shot.  Caviar went down in a heap as Naz smack talked him, paying no mind to Omar Littlefield sneaking up on him with a piece of the broken commentary table…but Omar completely missed Razorblade staggering to his feet and Savage surged forward and wiped him out with a Pounce straight out of the Littlefield playbook.  Fernandez came into the ring to try and salvage things for the Republic only for Naz to make her take a couple of steps back by swinging the chair at her.  Malicía backed up just enough to get spun around and laid out by an Orion satellite DDT.  Ig was on the mat screaming at his personal army to recover…and slowly looked up to see Orion, then Naz and Razorblade looking like fraternal twins with evil grins.  “Whaddya think?” said Savage.  “We ain't locked up yet,” said Naz, and then all the babyfaces rushed Ig.  de Catur was running for his private jet as the unofficial Team QCW chased him through the concourse.  Ruckus ended with that chase still on and the members of the Republic trying to recover in the ring 9 days out from AnniVersary.

GRPL+ Presents QCW Ruckus [s3e41 • October 4, 2024]

Quality Arena 🤼 Parts Unknown, FL

Aired live on GRPL+ 📺 October 4th, 2024

A video package aired to start the show hyping the fatal four way that’ll main event tonight and determine the new #1 contender to the Women's World championship; it ended with alternating shots of Sohla Patel, Luz Cruz, Shelley LaVey and Crush champion “Night Sky” Diana Spare all promising to win and go on to take the Women's World title from around the waist of Lolo Vuitton.

The standard open rolled from there, and Quality Arena was rocking as it does on a Friday night.  Steve Vandeblanche and Carl Christensen at the announce table, Duck Eko handling the ring introductions and we got things underway…unfortunately…with the reigning holder of the Duquesne Cup and his flock.

1. “the Purifier” Caleb Grey [c, w/the Chosen] d. Atum Pharaoh at 7:58 to retain the QCW National Championship The white clad Grey had some problems early against the power man from the motherland, but got things on his side when he floored Atum with consecutive cyclone kicks.  The Purifier pretty much ran the table after those and put away Pharaoh with Repent to the joys of his acolytes and probably nobody else.

Goody Gardner hectored Duck for the mic before handing it to Caleb, who cut a rare promo.  He said that whether it be that harlot Szabo or this poor muscular foreigner, he had proven himself not only as the longest reigning champion in QCW but its best.  For a place that called itself Quality Championship Wrestling, he couldn't find a quality opponent who could provide competition for the National Championship.

Then something shocking happened.

As Grey threatened that whomever challenged him next would fall to their knees and repent, he was cut off; not by the fallen Atum or a rematch seeking Influencer, but by “Bombs Over Baghdad”.

The roof nearly came off Quality Arena as the Tron parted and for the first time in months, out came QCW legend Jupiter Jones.  The network had to mute part of the “Holy shit!” chants as Jones strolled down the aisle in a throwback Dale Murphy jersey with a small smile on his face.  You could hear a gleeful Carl Christensen laughing at the desk before pointing out Grey had turned almost as white as his gear while Steve couldn't believe what he was seeing.  As Jones stepped into the ring, The Chosen suddenly scurried to the floor with Drake Tremble almost setting a land speed record upon seeing his old rival back between QCW’s ropes for the first time in months.

Jones picked up the mic Grey left behind while the Arena almost wobbled under the force of a thousand strong chanting “Welcome back!” at the top of their lungs.  Jupiter looked around QA before focusing his eyes on the ramp and the Chosen.  “You know what my favorite Bible verse says, champ?” The former QCW champion smiled a humorless grin before pointing at Caleb Grey and saying “Ask and you shall receive.”  Jones dropped the mic and OutKast hit the PA, the crowd erupting yet again as Steve freaked the entire eff out over a QCW legend coming back and coming back seemingly after gold yet again.  Carl noted QCW was just better with Jupiter in it; of note, all five people in the Arena who disagreed were staring into the ring as if a lamb was about to be led to slaughter and the executioner had just offered a friendly (?) handshake.

Understandably, the announce was pleasantly shocked at the return of a QCW icon.  After putting over Jones a little bit more, Steve went over a review of some of the latest Quality Social posts this past week.  They showed off Ig de Catur hyping the 3rd anniversary show Ruckus will have in a couple of weeks, Prince Ootsuka shooting a fashion wear commercial, and Commissioner Holmes saying that he was rejecting Omar Littlefield’s request to return to action and extending his suspension for another/this week.

2. Orion fought Hawk Carter to a no contest at 5:42 After a few weeks of hype, Orion made their QCW debut here in a styles clash against Quality Arena’s resident cowboy.  Carter took the advantage with his power but got surprised by a handspring tornado DDT from the newbie that flooded him and opened the door to an Orion comeback.  Orion showed off some hang time as the space loving high flyer got their offensive retribution but the bout got ruined by the sudden emergence of Omar Littlefield, still on a rampage after eating his first pin at AnnIVersary and losing the World title in the process.  Both Carter and Orion ate multiple Face Erasers and even one poor security guard did too before the rest of Quality Force security were able to wrangle Omar and take him to the back.  Commissioner Holmes berated him for breaking his suspension but the massive Michigander’s only responds was spitting again at Holmes before uttering a cryptic “You know what I want.” QFS and Holmes lead Littlefield up the ramp and to the back before Ruckus went to commercials.

✨ ✨ ✨

During the Break, Omar was ushered into a car and driven out of Quality Arena - though it could’ve been worse for him since it wasn’t a cop car.

Elsewhere backstage, Julius Duquesne III brought on the All Starr Stable and Nazir el-Fadal ahead of their eight man tag against Beauty and the Beast Mode and Savage Justice tonight.  S. Mark Starr said that sure, he and Naz hadn't seen eye to eye in the past but after consulting with some dead Presidents, he could better see where Naz was coming from and since they had mutual enemies why not stomp them out?  Naz said that for all Razorblade’s talents, thinking wasn't one of them and that's why he was able to get the drop on him last week.  Someone like him was always playing 3D chess while someone like Savage tried to eat the board pieces.  Come Dia de los Muertos the good people of Mexico City would see him regain the World title he never should have lost, but tonight the rabble in Parts Unknown would get another example of why some called him the One Man Jihad but everyone knew the truth - that not only was he once again the uncrowned QCW World champion,..why, he was the man who ended Autumn Powers’ career…the sort of thing you could only do if you were The Greatest Man Alive.

The heels took their leave and Julius threw things to Duck in the ring for the next bout:

3. “Explosive” Emily Bennett d. Bonnie Agrippa (w/Hysteria) at 10:08 The biggest win of Bennett’s QCW career came when she won the Ace in the Hole tournament on the AnnIVersary show to earn a cash in opportunity for any title any time she wanted it; her second biggest win came right here over former Crush champion Agrippa.  Of note, Luz Cruz wasn't with the rest of her coven, probably because she's getting ready for the main event tonight.  Bennett seemed to surprise Bonnie in the early going by matching her on the mat, and even when Bonnie got the upper hand by making things more of a brawl Emily managed to keep pace in that department, too.  When Agrippa reversed a whip, Justine Danek couldn't resist and tried tripping Emily, who stumbled but didn't go down.  Justine’s attempt at interference drew the referee’s attention and after conferring with Emily the zebra ejected Justine, Nancy Crowley and Bella Jolie to the cheers of the crowd with other referees leading them away from ringside.

Emily was happy to see them get the boot and had some mocking for them as they left but that allowed Bonnie to drop her with a falling reverse DDT.  Agrippa quickly scrambled to the second rope and hit an elbow drop then followed it up with a second one to gain control.  Bonnie put a beating on Bennett when she wasn't complaining to the referee about her friends being ejected but the bubby blonde showed her toughness and kicked out of a few near falls.  Agrippa showed some frustration but continued on, hitting a couple of rolling suplexes, but when she looked to do a slingshot suplex Emily frantically kicked away to land safely on the apron.  Both men exchanged shots before Bennett landed a DDT into the apron that nearly put Bonnie out.  Emily quickly followed up with a slingshot elevated powerbomb she calls Time’s Up to get the upset W.

While Emily was getting her hand raised, the lights went out.  The crowd steeled themselves despite some loud thumps in the darkness and when the lights came on Hysteria was on the ramp - but Bella, Justine and Nancy were all laid out on the ramp holding their heads - and the Women's World champion Lolo Vuitton was standing at the bottom of the ramp with a bent steel chair and a mileswide smirk on her face.  Vuitton looked at Emily and dumped the chair on the floor before heading up the ramp, making sure to step on each woman in Hysteria she’d laid out on her way to the back.  A happy Emily got her hand raised again before she got her title shot Ace from Duck and headed to the back herself while the core members of Hysteria tried to clear the cobwebs.

After that it was back TOTHEBACK~!, where Enya Face brought on her guests - Beauty and the Beast Mode, Justice Davis and the QCW World champion Mason “Razorblade” Savage.  The Quality Controllers popped as “These Hands” Roy Fade and “Dashing” Pierce Moore joined their partners for tonight.  Enya asked if they’d heard what Naz said earlier and Moore said he heard her loud and clear but he didn't let uggos pollute his pristine ears, so no.  Fade and Davis said they didn't care at the same time but The Champ said he heard Naz loud and clear, even if it sounded like a rerun.  If Naz wanted to remind people of who he thought he was then Razorblade would remind him of who he was - the man who put the fighting in fighting champion and the man who'd be interviewing Naz with his fists just so he could get a taste of just how Dia de los Muertos was going to end up for him.  Razorblade held up the World title and broke out into an evil grin before walking out of the frame; the rest of the team followed and Enya said that they'd be back with more Ruckus after this.

✨ ✨ ✨

4. Avión III d. Il Postino at 6:10 After getting himself counted out in Jim Jaspers' return match next week, Avión decided to celebrate the season by having a big helping of squash.  Postino barely got in any shots, Avión hit Air Superiority but pulled Postino up at 2 then hit it again for the win.  Avión further celebrated post match by ripping off Postino’s eye mask and shoving it in his mouth.

Lolo Vuitton was doing her runway walk towards a cream colored Escalade when she heard a voice calling her name.  Vuitton balled a fist, turned around and swung - but she pulled up short when she saw it was “Explosive” Emily Bennett.  After Lolo got out of fight mode and asked Bennett what's up, Emily said she just wanted to thank Lolo for having her back out there earlier.  Lolo said it was no big thing: Emily had her back last week against the witch bitches (she said it though) so Lolo had her back.  But now that they were face to face she had to tell Emily something important: if she was thinking about cashing in on her and trying to take the Women's World championship she’d fought so hard to regain, Miss Thang herself would put a Bloody Shoe between her eyes without hesitation.  Emily seemed a little stunned as Vuitton flashed a predatory grin before getting in her luxury car and speeding out of the Arena.  Bennett watched her go, surprise still in her eyes before saying “Lolo Vuitton threatened me?!

I am so acing this!”

Bennett smiled and walked away.

Nonpoint’s “Bullet With A Name” brought out the All Starr Stable: Jacques Krieger and the World Tag Team champions A Cut Above.  S. Mark Starr followed his men out to the ramp, but they all paused at the bottom before the Fugees’ “Ready Or Not” took over the PA to bring out Nazir el-Fadal.  The One Man Jihad joined his partners and the heels hit the ring as the usually verbose Naz had only one thing to say to the camera: It's gonna be last week all over again.  All of them posed on the turnbuckles (well, not Krieger) while Steve hyped up the all star eight man tag up next.

✨ ✨ ✨

Beauty and the Beast Mode came out after the last commercial break without Shelley LaVey next to them as usual, as she's getting ready for the main event.  Out next was Justice Davis, followed by The Champ.  Mason “Razorblade” Savage talked briefly to his teammates before they rushed the ring, the heels getting out as they slid in.

So that meant the ensuing Pier 8 happened on the floor all around the ring for nearly a minute straight, and that was before the bell even rang.

5. Beauty and the Beast Mode and Savage Justice d. The All Starr Stable and Nazir el-Fadal (w/S. Mark Starr) at 12:37 Once the bell rang, things calmed down but not by much; Justice Davis acquitted himself well against the World Tag Team champions and was matching Krieger in brawling ability.  But a blind tag from Naz allowed him to blindside JD with a cobra clutch Lungblower, and the heels took over isolating Davis after that Heat Check.  The tag champs were all too happy to continue dissecting Davis while Naz did a bit of a Fargo strut on the apron to further irritate the fans.  A Cut Above looked to put the finishing touches on Justice but Davis took it to both Evan O'Neill and “Upper Class” Broderick Palmer II, eventually dropping the titleholders with a combination Flatliner and DDT.  Palmer II managed to crawl over and tag Naz back in, but no sooner had el-Fadal’s boots touched canvas than O’Neill got dropped by JD - who made a diving tag to The Champ.

Naz froze up, allowing Razorblade to rush across the ring and spear him down before laying in a flurry of heavy handed punches from both sides of the plate.  The crowd roared as Naz skittered into a corner but all that bought him were feet instead of fists as Razorblade stomped away at Naz.  After nearly half a minute of Razorblade's rampage Krieger tried to intervene but Savage put a big boot in his eyes and sent him flying from the apron to the floor.  But when Razorblade went to continue the attack, Naz planted his boots in Razorblade's face.  el-Fadal charged out of the corner but got the business end of a Razorblade lariat that sent him right back down to the mat.

The Champ spent the next few minutes putting the #1 contender through his paces and when Palmer II tried to ride to Naz’s rescue Razorblade saw it coming and gave “Upper Class” a snap spinebuster onto Naz.  Razorblade dropped Naz a couple more times and then went for the Soul Crusher, drawing the ire of Evan O'Neill.  O’Neill came down the apron and got kicked off by The Champ but he'd taken the bullet for el-Fadal and that'd bought Naz enough time to counter.  Both champion and future challenge flew off the top rope with an avalanche side Russian leg sweep that rattled the ring and had both men pancaked on the mat.  Due to their landings, Naz was able to drape an arm over Razorblade but Savage barely shouldered up out of it at 2 ¾.  Both men crawled away from each other, then made tags - Razorblade to his usual partner JD and Naz to perpetual irritant O’Neill.

It didn't take long for Davis to get the upper hand, but when he stuck the Oracle of Off-Book with the JDDDT after a couple of minutes all of Evan’s teammates got in the ring for saves that triggered a Pier 8 like the one that started the match.  Naz and Razorblade began fighting in the ring, took things to the floor and eventually traded shots up the ramp and into backstage but the wily O’Neill took advantage of most people watching that to tag in Krieger behind JD’s back.  Krieger rocked Justice with a pair of shoteis and went for the Jacqueshammer but Davis stuck him with a JDDDT and kept hold of One Eye before rolling into the Davis Driver.   Beauty and the Beast Mode fended off the World Tag Team champions and Davis secured the victory to a good pop from the crowd.  After replays Davis and Mode got their hands raised while the All Starr Stable seethed on the ramp.

As usual ahead of the main event, we got some hype for the shows next week: Unleashed will feature a Crush championship defense from “Night Sky” Diana Spare and a trios match where the Chosen will send Goody Gardner and the End Times against Ashok Banjerjee and the Game Changers.

And next week's Ruckus?  Well, it's the third anniversary of the flagship show and it's packed - Commissioner Holmes is set to make a big announcement, rumored to do with the main event at Dia de los Muertos - A Cut Above will be facing longtime rivals Savage Justice in a non-titles match that hopefully doesn't break down completely this time - and regardless of how the main event goes down four members of Hysteria will face Women's World champion Lolo Vuitton, Crush champion “Night Sky” Diana Spare, Shelley LaVey and Ashley “THEE Influencer” Szabo.

Speaking of the all important main event…

6. Luz Cruz d. Crush champion “Night Sky” Diana Spare, Shelley LaVey and Sohla Patel in a non-title fatal four way at 13:18 to become #1 contender to the Women's World championship One of the best TV matches of the year saw Cruz pull out the narrowest of victories and she will now get to face Lolo Vuitton with the Women's World championship on the line at Dia de los Muertos.

Given the nature of the match it was no surprise that the first few minutes saw brief flashes of deep seated hatred but also some underlying cautiousness.  Sohla seemed to use her sneakiness to her advantage early, getting in the match via blind tags before landing some offense and then tagging out to whoever she could when she started to find herself in trouble.  While Patel picked her spots her strategy paid dividends when she was able to dodge a double jump moonsault on famous rival Cruz and hit her trademark Ninth Incarnation; before she could win the fight both Diana and Shelley jumped in the ring and broke up the fall.

The resultant smacktalk between LaVey and Spare, rolling over from their win and contretemps on last week's show seemed to make the Crush champ more aggressive and more dangerous.  Night Sky didn't have a friend in the ring and spent the next couple of minutes taking it to whoever got in her way.  When Shelley tagged herself in and said they could settle this right here and now Spare flashed a crocodile grin before they threw down.  As the former (?) allies fought Shelley tried to use her quickness to get out ahead but Spare not only caught an attempted Pele kick, she turned it into a big release German suplex.  Spare took the upper hand on Shelley and even dropped her with a pop up Michinoku Driver but that fall was broken up by Luz.

After a double crossbody attempt left them both down they both tagged out, then Luz and Sohla tried to out heel the other.   Cruz seemingly was going for a Ninth Incarnation on its usual deliverer but Sohla hit a Fresh To Death cutter that had Shelley scowling on the apron.  Some rope running led to Shelley blind tagging in so she could deliver the real deal cutter to Sohla, and after Patel raked the eyes and scrambled away Spare tagged herself back in and immediately got dropped by a LaVey Pele.

Things only ratcheted up in intensity and weirdness from there as the match ran through a bunch of short term alliances and falling outs (as much falling out as there can be when all the participants don't get along).  Luz and Sohla teamed up on Shelley, Shelley and Diana briefly put their differences aside to try and shut up Patel in moments that echoed the Forbidden Book Club, and it looked for all the world as if the match was over after Cruz and Patel teamed up to hit Spare with a combination powerbomb and Backstabber that echoed Spare's Nightfall; LaVey had to save Spare and the match by delivering a Fallen Angel splash on the pin attempt.

The Quality Controllers were already chanting “This is awesome!” as the women continued brawling and occasionally countering someone else leading to a Tower of Doom spot where Spare powerbombed Cruz, who was in the middle of hitting a double superplex on the warring LaVey and Patel.  A brief “Fight forever!” chant got drowned out by “QCW!” ones and that was before the frantic final run of offense from all four corners decided the match.

Strikes led to signatures which led to wobbly legged finishers.  While the ref was trying to get them out of the ring, Sohla hit Shelley with her sunset flip buckle bomb but when she tried to hit the Ninth Incarnation for a third time in the fight Shelley pivoted and drilled the Bollywood Diva with a Fresh To Death.  That got Sohla out of the frame but left Shelley wide open to be scooped up by Spare and hit with a Nightfall that sent her bouncing off “Night Sky”’s knees and put on her back.  When the ref waved off Diana’s pin on Shelley, Spare slowly got to her feet to ask why; instead of an answer she got Cruz flying into the frame with a double jump poison rana that almost sent her flying out of the ring upon impact.  Cruz pulled Spare away from the ropes, hooked a leg and punched her ticket to Dia de los Muertos.

We got a longer runway than usual for replays; when we went back live we saw Luz Cruz getting her hand raised and while the boos were loud you could see a few fans applauding.  Cruz stepped over Spare, went to the middle rope and made A Very Familiar Gesture around her waist.  The credits box came up and Ruckus went off the air with the #2, #3 and #4 contenders almost out on the canvas - and the new #1 contender warning The Champ she was coming to take her belt.

GRPL+ Presents QCW Ruckus [s3e39 • September 20, 2024]

Slight tweaks to the show opening (more Hysteria led by Luz Cruz, the now unmasked Avión III, Naz cackling after beating Autumn at AnnIVersary) before it wrapped with the Cavalcade of Champions and RazorbladQe holding up the QCW World championship last week.

The Arena is packed and psyched per usual, with Steve Vandeblanche and Carl Christensen on commentary and Duck Eko handling the ring announcing.  Steve and Carl hyped up that they’d reveal the location of next month’s PPV after the opening match, a rematch in a rivalry we’ve seen on PPV a couple times in 2024…

1. Ashok Banjerjee d. Omar Littlefield by reverse decision at 10:43 The good news for Ashok is that he got the win over Omar; the bad news for him is how he got it.

Banjerjee fought smartly in the early going, employing the five Ds and peppering the former World champ with quick shots before falling back and getting outside of Omar’s swiping range.  Ashok landed some thigh kicks and a couple of basement dropkicks but Omar caught him and threw him across the ring.  Littlefield had a follow up charge but a basement dropkick sent him face first into the top turnbuckle.  Banjerjee ran for the opposite corner and came back with a dropkick but Omar not only dodged it, he ran/limped across the ring and added injury to injury by hitting the Boundless One with a Pounce that sent Ashok flying into the corner he’d briefly put Omar in.

From there it was pretty much Ass Whoop O’Clock, and Omar was right on time.  Littlefield punished Ashok for the next couple of minutes while the announce sold that this was Littlefield’s first match since losing the Fifteen Pounds of Gold at AnnIVersary, so he was in an even fouler mood than usual. Ashok managed some offense after getting his knees up on a Vader Bomb attempt and threw the tank at Omar up to and including a Destroyer DDT that was the beginning of the end – for the Boundless One, as Omar essentially no sold it and planted Banjerjee with a one armed spinebuster that put Ashok down.  When Banjerjee managed to kick out at 2.8, Omar turned the sadism up another notch beginning with another Pounce once Ashok got to his feet.

Omar hit him with a series of Vader Bombs, with the referee trying to get Omar to stop after three and getting loud enough to be heard off mic after four.  Omar seemed to agree with the zebra before hitting a Face Eraser to end Ashok's night.

We went to replays but they didn’t get to finish; we had to go back to the ring where Omar was trying to bust Ashok down to the white meat.  After throwing some stiff forearms Littlefield snatched up Banjerjee and drilled him with an even nastier Face Eraser than the one that ended the match.  Omar was getting set for another Face Eraser when the referee got in Omar’s face telling him the match was over and he didn't need to be doing this.  Littlefield slowly set Ashok back down on the mat as the zebra’s words seemed to get through to him. Omar nodded along for a couple beats and then choke bombed the hapless official so hard they ended up out of their shoes after they hit the canvas.  Quality Force security started streaming from the back but it didn't stop Omar from picking up Ashok and delivering a Face Eraser of Ashok onto the ref, which drew some loud if censored “Holy shit!” chants.  Quality Force hit the ring and Omar punched out the first couple of guys while Steve went ballistic on commentary, saying that Omar was going to get fined for his actions if not suspended.

The other security guards corralled Omar while Ashok used the ropes to pull himself up in a corner.  Littlefield dropped a couple and sped past the rest, cannonballing Ashok in the corner.  Omar roared as QFS got their bearings about him while on the floor the referee was almost being held up by Duck Eko.   The Voice of QCW announced the reverse decision making Ashok the winner to some cheers, though the usually quiet Littlefield let out a roar and seemingly melted down to another level and threw one security guard into another before the rest were able to corral Omar and get him down to the canvas.  Commissioner Holmes came out as they got Omar out of the ring and started leading him up the ramp.  Holmes got in Omar’s face and got a couple sentences in before Omar spit at his feet.  Holmes got red faced and demanded GFS stay with Omar and lead him to his office.  There were a recovering Banjerjee and referee who would probably recommend Holmes put him behind bars.

Steve switched gears, noting that teasers had gone up on Quality Social over the week but now they could show the full official announcement about next month’s PPV; a video package played that started with various sizes of legs, almost all in black.  As we heard familiar music with a Latin tinge to it (salsa?  rumba?  cumbia?)  we saw these legs literally dancing in a graveyard past some tombstones that had things on them like like ICHI-GO, PARTY ANIMAL and EINHERJAR.  As the camera panned up you could see a dead man's party full of alive people in mostly black but sporadic splashes of color dancing to the cover of “Ghost Town” playing in the background, literally grooving in the graveyard.  Between shots of people dancing (most of them had one side if not all of their faces painted - plenty of sombreros, cowboy hats and flower crowns peppered throughout the party) and QCW superstars at their best, we saw two more tombstones.  One read DEVIL'S NIGHT and the one next to it read MISCHIEF NIGHT before a lightning strike hit it and it disentigrated, causing the music to stop and for the screen to briefly go to black before we saw…

🎃CTUBRE 20th

ARENA COL⚡SEO

MEXIC🪦 CITY

Then finally

D🥀A DE L💀S MUERT💀S

When the video ended, Steve was standing in the ring and there were cheers from the crowd who must’ve been watching the ad in the Arena.  He excitedly hyped the fact that for the first time, QCW would be doing a PPV live from Mexico and the world famous Arena Coliseo would be their hosts for Dia de los Muertos.  Not only that, but the main event was going to be Razorblade defending the QCW World Championship against Nazir el-Fadal.  With history and the Fifteen Pounds of Gold in the air you could expect QCW’s best on PPV a month from now.  After the crowd cheered Steve brought Duck Eko into the ring to make the introductions for the next match while he made his way back to ringside and the announce table.

Prince hit the PA and brought out the Culture to cheers from the Quality Controllers.  Beauty and the Beast Mode seconded Shelley LaVey for the upcoming tag match but they waited halfway down the aisle for Shelley’s partner.

“Bodak Yellow” took over the PA and out strutted the Women's World champion Lolo Vuitton to a big pop.  Her and Shelley traded a five step handshake as they linked up and headed towards the ring.  They hit different sets of turnbuckles and revved up the packed house while Steve hyped them teaming up to face Justine and Bella from Hysteria coming up next after the ad break.

✨ ✨ ✨

2. Justine Danek & Bella Jolie (w/Hysteria) d. Lolo Vuitton & Shelley LaVey (w/the Culture) at 15:32 Hysteria needed a bounce back win after dropping the contendership main event last week and got it from their signature tag team.  The Women's World champion started things off for her side and took down both Justine and Bella but some attempted interference from Luz Cruz turned the tide and distracted Lolo long enough for Justine to sneak attack her.  An Electric Chair drop got the drop on Vuitton and allowed her to tag Bella; the black pointy hats spent the next few minutes halving the ring, employing quick tags and doing double teams to wear Vuitton down.

The ladies fka Pleasure and Pain kept up the pressure and systematically drained Lolo's power meter while their stablemates, Luz especially, rooted them on from the floor.  Danek and Jolie got marching orders from Luz to put Lolo away and went to put her away with Twelve Feet Under but Lolo managed to pull Bella into the path of Justine's Buckshot lariat.  Justine put on the brakes and she and Bella hugged but they weren't safe for long as Vuitton gave Bella a German suplex that made her inadvertently give an overhead belly to belly suplex to Justine.  Lolo’s ingenuity bought her enough time to make the tag, and a fresh Shelley hit the ring and started recalibrating the match in her favor.

LaVey leaped off a groggy Justine's back and hit a shotgun dropkick that sent Bella flying; Jolie almost hit the ropes before rolling out of the ring.  Justine tried to sneak up on Shelley but LaVey dodged her and clotheslined her out of the ring.   Bella and Justine pulled each other up just in time to get wiped out by a LaVey tope suicida that popped the Quality Controllers and had them chanting Shelley's name.

Shelley bundled up Justine and got her back in the ring, breaking her down over the next few minutes while the Culture cheered her on.  Danek got in a brief flurry but got wobbled by a Pele kick then dropped when Shelley springboarded off the ropes and hit a flawless Fresh To Death cutter.  Shelley went into the cover and hooked the near leg but Justine managed to get her other foot under the bottom rope just in time for the zebra to stop their three count and wave it off to the visible relief of the rest of Hysteria.  Given how close the pin happened to them, Shelley blew off the ref trying to explain the situation and spit in Bonnie Agrippa’s face before trash talking the rest of the group.  Some bleeps happened on the broadcast before Shelley went out to the floor and started going after them.  Bonnie got thrown into the barricade and Nancy Crowley got stopped by a Pele kick but that gave Bella the opportunity to sneak up on Shelley and throw her into the ringpost and then the stairs.  Lolo came down the apron to make a save but a running spear by Justine sent them both through the ropes and to the outside with the Women's World champion getting the worst of it.  Justine threw Shelley back into the ring, where Bella was waiting and they put the white hats’ chances of winning Twelve Feet Under with their signature finisher to win the fight.

After the match Justine and Bella celebrated by putting the boots to Shelley, eventually getting joined by the rest of Hysteria.  Lolo tried to make a save but got intercepted by Bella, who hit her with her finisher to put The Champ Six Feet Under.  Beauty and the Beast Mode hit the ring to pull Hysteria off of Shelley, but then they got swarmed by the black pointy hats as well.  Other referees came out to try and stop the beatdown but Hysteria didn't stop until Muse's “New Born” hit the PA.

Out ran the Game Changers, Tiki God in his trademark Hawaiian shirt and Ashley more than ready to start her qualifying match against Cruz the moment she hit the ring.  THEE Influencer delivered a double leg takedown and some piston rights.  The fights continued until Commissioner Holmes came out with Quality Force security to finally put an end to the melee.  Holmes then said that because of the brawl EVERYBODY was going to be banned from ringside to ensure a fair winner for Cruz v. Szabo up next; Ashley seemed nonplussed while Luz was screaming at him from the ring.  QFS took away Hysteria, then with some help from some refs Vuitton and the Culture were guided to the back a few beats after Hysteria disappeared behind the Qualitron 9004.

The Commish followed the parade, leaving three people in the ring…

3. Luz Cruz d. Ashley “THEE Influencer” Szabo at 13:02 in a Women's World championship #1 contendership qualifying match This one started with a hockey fight that ended with Ashley dropping Luz via a rolling elbow.  Szabo took over the match from there while the announce talked about Luz turning on the rest of the babyfaces at AnnIVersary to join and maybe lead Hysteria.  In the ring, the one who was doing the leading was Ashley; the Duquesne Classic runner up caught a flying crossbody attempt and turned it into a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker that sent Cruz scurrying to the floor after eating it.  Luz used the steel steps to help get her to her feet but a sky high Szabo flew down on her with a springboard crossbody that sent a wave of cheers throughout Quality Arena and got the replay machine rolling.

Once she got to her feet, Ashley got Luz back in the ring to keep the train rolling.  Szabo dropped Cruz a few more times but when she went for a trademark Codebreaker Luz countered into a big time buckle bomb that left Ashley discombobulated in the corner and barely able to stand.  Cruz went from corner to corner and planted a high elevation dropkick right in Ashley's teeth to send her flying to the floor as the crowd booed the woman formerly known as La Flor.  We got replays of the dropkick as Luz hectored the ref to count Ashley out faster.  THEE Influencer tried to get back into the ring at 8 but Cruz charged her; the resulting shoulderblock sent Ashley flying from the apron and into the barricade before she crumpled on the floor in a heap.

Ashley managed to crawl back into the ring at 9 but Luz immediately swarmed her, first with stomps and then with springboard stomps.  Getting the upper hand made Cruz cockier and cockier, and once she laid out Ashley with a press drop she started paintbrushing the back of Szabo's head with hard slaps to the dismay of the Quality Controllers.  Cruz spit in her hand and slapped Ashley in the face before pulling her up by the hair off the mat; Szabo responded with a Codebreaker that left both women on the mat for the better part of a 10 count.

Both women were on their knees throwing hands at 8 and continued doing so at what would've been 10.  Ashley went for another rolling elbow but Luz blocked it and spun her around before going for one of her own that Ashley blocked, spinning Cruz around.  THEE Influencer went for a springboard crossbody but Cruz ducked it and Ashley ate canvas.  Cruz hit a blindside rolling elbow that put Ashley on her knees and went for a springboard crossbody of her own, but Ashley ducked that.  Szabo slowly got up and ran past the groggy Cruz and bounced off the ropes before smashing Luz with an enzui Meteora.   The Game Changer waited on Luz to get up and hit another one that sent Cruz front first into a set of turnbuckles.  Szabo pulled Cruz into position and headed up top to deliver the Smash That Subscribe Button avalanche fist drop, but Luz rolled away at the last possible second to leave Ashley howling in pain.  Cruz hit a kneeling Szabo with a superkick that connected flush and let out a triumphant cackle.  Ashley was down and seeing her stir, Luz ran for the corner to bypass her before she did some impressive rope work that resulted in a double jump poison rana, and that put Ashley down for the three count with the crowd clearly too taken aback to boo deeply.

After replays of the match and several of the double jump poison rana, Luz was standing over Ashley with the mic in her hand.  She practically hissed out “One down, two to go” before saying she would turn out the lights on Lolo’s title reign just like this; she snapped her fingers and Quality Arena went dark - and when the lights came back up a couple of beats later, Cruz wasn't anywhere in sight.

We got a stinger for what appeared to be a space themed luchador - lots of blue, black, white stars and galaxial themes as the high flyer hitting high spots with those as a backdrop. Makes sense with Dia de los Muertos coming up soon.

Their name is Orion, and they're 🌠 coming soon 🌠 to QCW.

✨ ✨ ✨

4. “Night Sky” Diana Spare d. Goody Gardner (w/the Chosen) at 13:02 in a non-title Women's World championship #1 contendership qualifying match Spare’s Crush championship wasn't on the line here, but she managed to crush the acolyte’s chance at holding the Women's World championship anytime soon.  Gardner got the jump on Spare not even two seconds after the bell rang and threw a bevy of forearms that staggered Diana.  But it didn't take long for Spare to return fire, and when she did her shots tended to drop Gardner more often than not.

Gardner was on her heels for most of the match but didn't go quietly into that food night.  A ring rocking spinebuster?  Goody kicked out.  A press power slam? Goody kicked out of that too but rolled out of the ring after the kick out, waving away help from Caleb Grey and Drake Tremble alike.  Spare tried to continue her roll with a baseball slide but GG trapped her in the apron and blasted her with a sort of enzuigiri before getting on the apron.  Gardner ran down and blasted Spare in the face with a Penalty Kick to gain the upper hand in the bout.

Goody fought like a banshee from there, at one point sitting on Spare and swinging down open handed palm strikes with both hands.  But Spare eventually adapted and countered with a triangle hold that had Goody howling in pain, and Spare leveraged that to get Goody down into a crossface.  It took Gardner nearly half a minute to get a foot on the bottom rope but the lengthy submissions did the work they were supposed to do and doused the fiery offense from GG.  Spare took things home with a slingshot DDT and her trusty Nightfall to join Luz Cruz, Shelley LaVey and Sohla Patel in the fatal four way to get a #1 contender to the Women's World championship.   After replays the announce team debated if she would become the first woman to hold both the Crush and Women's World championships at the same time – and a cut to backstage showed the Women's World champion Lolo Vuitton watching Crush champion Spare on a monitor with interest.

From there we went TOTHEBACK~!, where Julius Duquesne III was standing by and brought on the Proper Villains.  The returning “the Fury” Jim Jaspers and “the Proper King” Richard Windsor came on set and exchanged greetings with Julius, who congratulated them on being back together and Jim returning from injury.  Jim gave JD3 a quick thanks but said he wasn't here for welcome backs, he was back to put people on their backs.  And after what Avión did to Richie Boy last week, Old Jim was gunning for him first and challenging him to go one on one next week.  Jaspers said he had a Fury Road with his name on it and left the set before Richard followed him out; Julius threw things to Duck Eko in the ring.

5. “Swamp Pride” Ted Holland and Robert E. Moonshine fought A World of Pain to a no contest at 7:03 There was a match, but it took a big backseat to how it ended - Omar Littlefield came back out and ate everybody's lunch.  Holland, Moonshine, Dom DeSade, Bob Osterberg all ate Face Erasers and even a couple of Quality Force security members again got dropped at Omar’s hands.  The remaining QFS members and some road agents managed to lead Omar to the back while all the carnage was bodies deep in the ring.  The announce put over the former World champion being pissed off over suffering his first real loss at AnnIVersary and these sorts of things being a result of that loss.  You could see Commissioner Holmes having some words with Omar and Littlefield no selling them as we went into the last commercial break of the night.

✨ ✨ ✨

Back from the break and TOTHEBACK~! where Enya Face had an interview with a special guest: the winner of the Ace in the Hole tournament, “Explosive” Emily Bennett!

Bennett and her giant ace (not a euphemism) came onto the set and waved at the camera before straightening up and facing Enya.  Face congratulated her on winning the tournament and after thanking Enya, Emily said she was thisclose to getting fired but instead she thrived and now she had a cash in she could hold onto for a while.  Emily said she'd been working hard to be Ms. Wednesday Night but now she had to take the next step and prove her win was no fluke.  But a warning to anyone who would take her on - their plans would blow up - and then she pointed at Enya and walked off the set, again waving to the camera on the way out.  In the middle of Enya throwing things to Steve and Carl you could hear Emily almost shouting “I’m acing this!”

Before the main event, Steve and Carl had The Scoop on what's to come next in QCW TV.

Unleashed next Wednesday has two big singles matches highlighting it as Justice Davis takes on “the Paragon” Drake Tremble from the Chosen and former Crush champions Shelley LaVey and Sohla Patel will face off as well.

Next week's Ruckus has more Quality wrestling coming our way.  We’ll see if Avión III will accept the challenge from “the Fury” Jim Jaspers, but there's some matches already set up:

🤼 Razorblade vs. Jacques Krieger in a non-title match 🤼

🤼 Lolo Vuitton will face Hysteria’s Bella Jolie in another non-title match 🤼

🤼 And the contenders to Lolo’s title will be in a tag match with unlikely partners: Luz Cruz and Sohla Patel will bring together (?) Hysteria and International Lotus against the Crush champion “Night Sky” Diana Spare and Shelley LaVey from the Culture ahead of the fatal four way to name a #1 contender in two weeks 🤼

But that's next week and the main event is right now…

6. Nazir el-Fadal d. Justice Davis at 11:46 Naz spent the past week on Quality Social stirring the pot, mocking Davis as Razorblade’s sidekick and inferring that Razorblade was in league with the Commissioner to make this match and soften him up before his title shot.  JD had the reaction to that you might expect, and that got us to this.

Davis charged Naz at the bell but el-Fadal dodged him a couple of times before springboarding off the ropes and hitting a European uppercut that got him a 2 count early.  A cocky #1 contender did a bit of a Fargo strut around the ring, which gave Davis the opportunity to bull rush Naz into a corner.  JD buried some shoulders into Naz's guys until the ref had to get him out of the corner.  JD relented but when he tried to go back on the attack Naz viciously raked his eyes for a few seconds before launching him into the corner with a fallaway slam.  Davis went down in a heap and The self proclaimed Greatest Man Alive added injury to injury with some boot rakes then a face wash kick that almost knocked Justice out of the ring.

With things rolling his way Naz was at his preening, arrogant best; if JD wasn't getting rocked by European uppercuts then it was stiff forearms and since cheating isn't a bug but an el-Fadal feature he shut down some comeback attempts with eye pokes and boot rakes.  A suddenly chatty Naz started taunting the crowd, yelling such niceties* like “This is your boy?!” and “Get me a real contender!” when he wasn't paintbrushing Davis or laying in some mocking kicks.  el-Fadal barked at Justice to get up and hip tossed Davis but JD managed to corkscrew and land on a knee.  Naz tried to grab the former World Tag champ but Davis quickly crawled through his legs; when Mr. Grand Slam turned around Justice landed a leaping enzuigiri and planted a stunned Naz with a JD (double arm) DDT.  The crowd clapped to rally JD while both men were down on the mat and we at home got replays of Naz getting planted.

Naz was barely the first one to his feet, and tried to hit a European uppercut but Davis blocked it and landed a huge knife edge chop that knocked Naz back a couple of steps and got some noise rippling through the crowd.  That noise got replaced with a second bigger and even louder chop that fully staggered Naz and sent him back into a corner.  Davis literally slugged his way back into the contest by alternating big rights and hard chops, then did some machine gun chops until Naz was all the way on his ass and the Quality Controllers were roaring.  Davis ran for the opposite corner at full speed before coming back on a diagonal and planting a basement dropkick right in Naz's mug.

Naz was now the one crawling on his hands and knees – Justice was the one who was going up to the top rope.  Naz couldn't find JD until he was getting blasted with a flying lariat.  JD got a two and a half then kept the pressure on and showed Naz that he was more than enough competition.  A desperate Naz went for Nazquil but JD hit a running bulldog into the corner that sent Naz into the middle turnbuckle.  Now Davis was the one waiting on Naz to get up, and once he did JD quickly sprinted to Naz and buried a headbutt right in his cheekbones before landing another JDDDT; el-Fadal bounced off the canvas with such impact that he ended up sluicing between the middle and bottom rope before landing face first on the floor.  Quality Arena was rocking as Carl noted JD had to stay on Naz to bring home a win here.

You could see JD measuring a woozy Naz from the ring and as the One Man Jihad slowly got up Davis got a running start.  Davis flew over the top with a tope con hilo…that Naz caught.

Then he swung JD into the barrier before turning and swinging him into the steps.

Then Naz pivoted and swung JD into the barrier again, and he swung JD into the steps again but this time so hard the top half of them fell off and to the side.   Naz almost disgustedly flung Justice to the floor and stood over him atop of the remaining stairs.  After soaking in the boos, Naz tossed JD back in the ring and began the end by picking apart Davis for a couple of painfully long minutes.  el-Fadal hit him with a tidal wave of moves as he ratcheted things up; to put a bow on things he chained together a Salto suplex and an Olympic Slam (no, seriously) before putting Justice’s hopes out for the night with a dose of Nazquil.

Naz got his hand raised then booted Justice in the face and mounted him to land a few rapid fire right hands.  el-Fadal rolled out of the ring and shoved Duck Eko out of the ring to grab a steel chair.  Naz slid back in the ring and swung the chair at the ref to make them scurry to the outside, then wrapped the chair around Justice’s neck to presumably set up a Pillmanizing.

Naz started climbing up the turnbuckles when a blur came down the ramp.  el-Fadal dropped down and snatched the chair before rolling out of the ring, just barely dodging a pissed off Razorblade in the process.  Savage briefly checked on the recovering Davis before saving some cross words (and some bleeped out curse words) for Naz, who was standing on the announce table pointing the chair at Razorblade and having words with him as well.  The credits box came up with the war of words still continuing on with Razorblade pointing at Naz from the ring and el-Fadal waving him on with the chair saying he had a present for his ass.
