FDSN Florida Presents QCW Ruckus [s5e21 • March 27th, 2026]

πŸ“Ί live on FanDuel Sports Network Florida

πŸ“ Quality Arena πŸ’« Parts Unknown, FL

  • The show kicked off with a Golden Rule highlights recap video package.  Stills of Cindy Monet celebrating her win over Goody Gardner and Summer Rose signing her new QCW contract after beating “Cambodian Cool” Keo Tevi gave way to longer video clips from the main card…

  • πŸ‘‘ The right back and forth between challenger Tre Boyd and QCW National champion Orion with the belt on the line • Boyd with a slight advantage that only grew after he hit a Blue Thunder bomb and an avalanche Spanish Fly • but eating Orion's knees on his Spiral Tap that led to Orion rolling him up with a La Magistral cradle to get the three and complete the 10 Count so they could cash in the Natty for a World title shot whenever and whenever they wanted • we saw Orion celebration on the buckles while Tre stomped off to the back πŸ‘‘

  • πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘ The extreme rules elimination match followed, the latest and biggest chapter in the Forbidden Book Club vs. Hysteria rivalry • most of these clips were in black and white while being quicker due to the graphic nature of the match's majority • “Night Sky” Diana Spare giving Bella Jolie a pop up Michinoku Driver into a trash can to give the Club a 3-2 lead early • Hysteria rebounding, laying out both Diana and Luz Cruz before taking out Shelley LaVey with a spike brainbuster into the bottom set of steel steps to even things up at 2 a side • they threw Luz over the announce table and buried her underneath it before turning their attention to Diana, who put up a fight and spit in their faces right before another spike brainbuster into a pile of chairs to take out Spare and give Hysteria a 2-2 lead • Cruz managing a brief rally, landing a springboard dropkick that drove a steel chair into Bonnie and landing a massive tope con holo over the ring post that put Nancy Crowley through a part of the retaining barrier • Hysteria throwing a trash can at her to avoid her finisher, both landing their finishers before deciding that wasn't enough and continuing the punishment • Bonnie holding Luz up for a shot from a whole pane of glass - only for Luz to skip it and have Crowley accidentally turn out Agrippa's lights with it • Luz picking off Crowley with ¡MUERTE! and the double jump poison huracanrana leaving the match down to two women • Cruz landing a massive dropkick on Agrippa that sent a spray of blood into the Seattle night • Agrippa countering ¡MUERTE! with a Backstabber into a crossface • Luz seemingly going limp but stabbing Bonnie in the wrist with a shard of glass to break the hold • a bloody Agrippa screaming in pain until a ¡MUERTE! into the chair pile that ended the battle with a come from behind victory for the Club • a bloody Cruz being held up by LaVey and Spare, cursing out Bonnie in Spanish before Hocking a bloody loogie onto the woman who’d taken her place atop Hysteria, the crowd clapping and cheering the ovaries to the wall nature of the back and forth the Club triumphed in πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘

  • πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘ The tag match that followed between the Undaunted and Serge Batroc and the Proper Villain Richard Windsor couldn't match that in violence and levels of hatred though the four men have been on opposite sides for weeks • Windsor & Batroc teaming up with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker+ guillotine legdrop combination that took down “Unforgettable” Dave Mullin and gave the haughty newly formed team a man and a body part to focus on • Mullin managing a handspring tornado DDT on them both to give him space to tag in Tim “the Only Hope” McMurray who immediately tilted things in the favor of the Irish aerialists • The Undaunted looking like they were going to end things with Shamrock Air before Windsor countered and used the ropes for leverage to steal a victory that made the only happy people in the building Serge and Richard πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘

  • πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘ Ashok Banerjee looking focused and supported by Jacques Krieger going into his match with Omar Littlefield, flanked by the Republic as he entered and bragged after he sent Ashok to the hospital he’d get his long owed shot at the World title • Omar beat the brakes off of Ashok and that was just to start • massive Pounce • sit out choke bomb • five Vader Bombs • Littlefield hit his Face Eraser but Ashok got his foot on the ropes • Omar went for another one only for Ashok to hit a flash Code Orange and get the upset • Omar crashing out post match, hitting Ashok with another Face Eraser and tossing the referee from the ring • more Face Erasers until Jacques Krieger broke free from Republic Enforcement and hit the ring for the save • Omar laid him out too and got off another couple of choke bombs before getting swarmed by Quality Force Security with Commissioner Holmes on their heels πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘

  • πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘ Ig de Catur repeatedly poking Holmes in the chest, leading to Holmes shoving him down and announcing Ig and his Enforcement were being banned from ringside for the World Tag Team championships match up next • Omar, Ig and REnforcement being cuffed and escorted out of Climate Pledge • a barely moving Banjerjee being loaded into a stretcher and into an ambulance with Krieger getting in as well, vowing to destroy Omar as it headed into the night • a clearly heated Pyotr Caviar and MalicΓa Fernandez remaining at ringside before defending their World Tag Team championships against Razorblade in what turned out to mostly be a handicap match given that Justice Davis was taken out two weeks ago tonight • Razorblade had the toughness but he was also facing a 2 on 1 so eventually the math caught up to him • the heels hit a double pop up European uppercut and signaled for the double chokeslam when the lights went out - when they came on someone in Republic Enforcement gear was distracting the ref with batons before turning and jabbing a taser into both Caviar and Fernandez out of nowhere - Razorblade pinned a twitching Pyotr to win the belts, but the shocks didn't stop coming as the interloper revealed himself to be Nazir el-Fadal • Naz reached over to grab a tag title and thrust it skyward to set off gold and white pyro while Razorblade's jaw hadn't even come off the mat yet • Naz gave Razorblade a couple of pats on the cheek and swaggered to the back with his belt, Seattle rippling with cheers and Surrender Cobras while the One Man Jihad headed out leaving his long time rival still sat down and shellshocked in the ring with his newly won belt πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘

  • πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘ Speaking of belts, “the Purifier” Caleb Gray came out for the main event with the physical World title he’d stolen off of Jupiter Jones weeks ago and the rest of the Chosen following their leader • Jones coming out with the rest of Collipark, now fully healed after weeks of Chosen sneak attacks • Jupiter dominated early and worked over Gray’s leg until a desperation backdrop sent the champ out to the floor • while Caleb drew the ref, his acolytes in the End Times attacked Jupiter until the ref caught them and ejected the Chosen, Collipark running then off to the back • Gray tried to secure the Fifteen Pounds of Gold but too much damage had been done to the leg and he couldn't get the legendary Jones up for Repent • Jones fired off a Bolt From Olympus but kept Caleb from landing, scooping him up and breaking out his old school finisher the Thunder Rolls to retain the title πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘

  • πŸ‘‘πŸ’« Jupiter getting the belt back and celebrated with the rest of Collipark - right until Orion's music hit • everybody gearing themselves up for a cash in from the National champion as Orion arrived on the scene • but they merely bowed in Jupiter's direction and held the Natty overhead before Jupiter gave a nod and held up the World title right back πŸ’«πŸ‘‘

  • The standard “Invincible” open rolled as usual from there except for the notable change in the Cavalcade of Champions before we zoomed inside Quality Arena.  Pyro went off the stage before we saw another sellout crowd of rabid Quality Controllers.  Steve Vandeblanche welcomed us to Ruckus and said that as much as he liked Seattle there was nothing like Parts Unknown on a Friday night.  He introduced Carl Christensen and they said this would be one of the biggest episodes of Ruckus all year, because the first round action in the 2026 Duquesne Classic would kick off tonight with four big matches – Nazir el-Fadal would go up against “the Purifier” Caleb Gray πŸ’« MalicΓa Fernandez of the Republic would meet Mason Razorblade Savage πŸ’« Bonnie Agrippa and Shelley LaVey weren't quite done with each other after Sunday's war in the Forbidden Book Club/Hysteria extreme rules elimination match and would go one on one tonight πŸ’« and the Forbidden Book Club’s Luz Cruz would try to take down the Republic's Pyotr Caviar

  • No sooner had Steve and Carl hyped up the Classic matches to come than the Florida A&M marching band split the Qualitron, coming out in formation to line both sides of the aisle and encircle the ring.  After some peppy fanfare, they launched into a cover of “Bombs Over Baghdad” that brought out the College Park Family to a huge pop.  The International Players danced down the aisle, Science Fiction Double Feature followed them, and behind them by a couple of steps was the man who'd been World champion all year, the legendary Jupiter Jones.  The Fifteen Pounds of Gold gleamed off his shoulder as they hit the ring and the QCW stalwart was the only one in the maroon and gold letterman jacket with the big bold C on it.

  • Jones cut a promo once the band died down, saying that it was great to be home again inside Quality Arena on a Friday night…but Sunday night at Golden Rule was a little bit better because not only did he get to knock Caleb Gray off his throne of delusions, he’d gotten his belt back for the first time in weeks.  So with all that behind him, he was going to start looking forward.  This year's Duquesne Classic was going to have the deepest field in Classic history, and the winner wouldn't just add their name to the Duquesne Cup - they’d get a shot at him and the World heavyweight championship come Mayday Payday.  So while he wished everyone in the tournament good luck, he was going to do what the kids call stand on business and he called living up to your word: they would only get as far as the Cup, because after the wars with the Republic and Caleb's thievery, he was here not only to prove why Old Man Jones was still The Champ, but someone would have to let the dogs of hell loose before he let the World title out of his grasp again.

  • The crowd popped for that and barely began to fire up “You deserve it!” chants before the lights in Quality Arena went out.  When they came back on, Hysteria was in the ring across from the College Park Family and Steve lit into them for ruining a special moment Jupiter was having with the fans.  Despite being outnumbered five to three QCW’s resident coven wasted no time in getting in the faces of Collipark; with the mic by Jupiter’s side you could hear every word Bonnie Agrippa hissed as she railed against how the company had set Hysteria up with an extreme elimination match they clearly hoped would be an extermination, but they were still here - still breathing - and still in the Classic.  Which meant that this wasn't a time for a pep rally or rah-rah speeches - this would be the Year of the Dark Coronation.  The year of Hysteria walking away with the Cup.  And the Era of Hysteria would go into legendary status just like Jupiter when they took from him what they’d come back for to begin with: the QCW World title and all the power that came with it.  Nancy Crowley had a wild look in her eyes as she clapped at Bonnie's words like a sugared up preschooler.  Nancy said that this dark future was destined to become truth, because this was the year of –

  • “The year of Hot Topic wondering why all y'all been missing your shifts the past couple of years?” Both Collipark and Hysteria whipped their heads up the ramp, where Shelley LaVey and the rest of the Forbidden Book Club were standing to bask in the cheers of the crowd (those not laughing at Shelley's joke).  LaVey said after the FBC had whooped some witch ass Sunday night, she thought things couldn't get any better than that…but then not only had she and her girls (Luz Cruz and “Night Sky” Diana Spare) all gotten put in the Classic, she was going up against Bonnie tonight to kick off the tournament. Sunday night had only been an appetizer and tonight she was going to tear into her like a medium rare porterhouse for all the times Bonnie had made fun of her when they were supposed to be a team or had her running her errands like an au pair.  There would be a woman winning the Duquesne this year, but it would be one of the women of the Forbidden Book Club who’d not only hold up the Cup but the World championship when Mayday Payday came to an end.

  • Jupiter let out a humorless laugh and cut off the back and forth sniping between the years-long rivals with three simple words: “Y’all can try.”. He then noted since they were going to throw down for a shot at him, they might as well get a ref out here so they could pick up where they left off last weekend.  He and Collipark were going to the skybox to watch all of tonight's tournament action - because if one of them did end up winning the Classic, they'd end up in their first PPV main event at Mayday Payday - and he’d be more than happy to show them that legends never die.  Collipark left the ring and headed towards the skybox as Shelley's music hit the PA; while “Shockadelica” played a ref came down and hit the ring.  Agrippa and LaVey locked eyes when Shelley hit the bottom of the ramp and neither broke the hateful glares they sent the other as the referee felt that tension.  Despite the ref clearly feeling uneasy and awkward given the stakes of the match and the history involved, the bell rang - three seconds later a hockey fight was on in the middle of the ring as the former friends tried to take the other's consciousness away.

  • 1. Bonnie Agrippa (w/Hysteria) d. Shelley LaVey (w/Forbidden Book Club) at 8:30 in a first round Duquesne Classic match It took almost a minute for the hockey fight to end, as Bonnie stomped on Shelley's foot and drove a knee into her breadbasket before throwing her down hard to the canvas.  In a mirror of their relationship, Shelley fought to get out from under Bonnie's thumb, but a falling reverse DDT snuffed that rally out in the crib and got the first nearfall of the tournament.  Agrippa continued her bruising offense and almost got disqualified a couple of times in her zest to take it to LaVey.  Hysteria’s High Priestess didn't relent and almost buried Shelley with nearly a dozen flash elbows, but Shelley still kicked out.  A clearly irate Agrippa went to end things with Eclipsing the Light and pulled off the rolling suplexes, but when she went to end things with her trademark brainbuster Shelley kneed her in the face repeatedly to fend it off, then connected on a Pele kick that left both women down.

  • But it was a renewed Shelley who was up first and laying in the shoe leather to Bonnie with some noisy forearm shots before laying her out with a basement DDT to fight her way back into the bout.  Shelley beat on Bonnie until Agrippa staggered into a neutral corner, and once that happened Shelley rained down 13 punches before biting Agrippa’s forehead for the full five count.  While the rest of the Forbidden Book Club cheered on from the floor, LaVey set up Agrippa on the top rope before sticking her into the canvas with her Fall From Grace draping cutter.  With Bonnie laid out on the mat, Shelley spit in her face before going to the top rope.  On the floor, Nancy Crowley and Bella Jolie were desperately yelling at Bonnie to move out of the way of Shelley’s Fallen Angel splash.  Agrippa couldn't get out of its path – but what she could do was get her knees up at the last second and drive all the air out of a now collapsed Shelley.  Agrippa recovered enough to grab LaVey by the hair before hitting a running brainbuster that turned out to be the winning blow that got Bonnie the three count much to the disappointment of most of the Quality Controllers.

  • Agrippa stood over Shelley and put the badmouth on her but the rest of the FBC hit the ring.  Before even more Club/Hysteria violence could break out, Bonnie flashed a sadistic smile at Cruz and Spare before snapping her fingers - and you know what that meant.  A few seconds after the lights went out, they came back on with Hysteria nowhere in sight. Who Bonnie will face next in the quarterfinals is a mystery, as she's paired against the one blank bracket in the ‘26 Classic, so keep an eye out there.  As we saw Diana and Luz help Shelley up, Steve noted from the desk this had to be especially difficult for Luz; while Shelley had just barely lost and Diana's first round match wasn't until next week, Luz’s opening round match wasn't only up next - it was against the Republic's Pyotr Caviar, who’d made the finals last year and would be even madder than usual after losing the World Tag Team championships five nights ago.

  • After that, we went TOTHEBACK~!, where Julius Duquesne III said he was going to have a major interview with Commission Holmes.  He strided up to the door and knocked before being let in.  Holmes welcomed JD3 and said it was going to be a little weird because Holmes wanted to put another job on JD3’d shoulders.  He noted it was two weeks since somebody had taken out Justice Davis on the loading dock.  Quality Force Security was made mostly to handle crowd control, not something like this.  But he knew three things about JD3: he went to Morehouse, he got a degree in journalism and part of his DNA was literally the reason QCW was around today.  Julius could use his knowhow to help him figure out who was behind this, he’d owe him a big favor.  Nobody knew the roster like he did and he had faith Duquesne III could get to the bottom of this.  Holmes thanked him and said that he’d await his word, leaving the usually mild mannered JD3 to get out a “What the–” right before Ruckus very quickly went to commercial break.

  • 2. Luz Cruz (w/Forbidden Book Club) d. Pyotr Caviar (w/Ig de Catur, the Republic and Republic Enforcement) at 10:08 in a first round Duquesne Classic match It didn't take long for our first upset in this year's Duquesne, as despite taking a tremendous beating Sunday night in the extreme rules elimination match she pulled out the win there and (without as much blood this time) managed to sneak out a win here.  Cruz did so despite Caviar dominating most of the match, in an even saltier mood than usual after getting tased out of the World Tag Team championships in Seattle.  Having Cruz survive a series of near falls obviously did nothing to improve his mood so Pyotr upped the offense, using a spinning sit out powerbomb to set up a follow up Russian sickle before pulling La Reina of the Ropes into a pop up European uppercut that seemingly made her two inches shorter and had her splayed out on the canvas.  But as he began to set up Hit My Music, Jacques Krieger came marching down the ramp with a tire iron in his hand and swearing he was going to make Omar pay for what he did to Ashok at Golden Rule.  Quality Force Security came streaming out as Republic Enforcement formed a human wall at the bottom of the ramp to stop Krieger from hitting the ring - but that drew Caviar's attention away from the match and bought Luz some much needed recovery time.  As Pyotr was daring Jacques to come and get him, Cruz flew off the top with ¡MUERTE! abd git hin instead.  The third double jump poison huracanrana she was able to pull of in five days got her the shocking three count, causing Quality Arena to explode in cheers and sending de Catur nearly into a stroke at ringside.  Krieger dropped the tire iron with a wry smile and headed back up the ramp while the Republic couldn't break the human wall of QFS to get to him.  In a direct contrast to the last match, the Club hit the ring to celebrate a win; that win puts Luz into the quarterfinals to face the winner of next week's match between Summer Rose…and Jacques Krieger.  Small world.

  • As the Republic and then the Club took their leaves, Steve and Carl narrated the replays and put over Luz’s massive week until “Unscripted Violence” hit the PA and brought out Razorblade to a king sized pop from the Quality Controllers.  Mason Savage came out through the crowd and down the steps per usual before hitting the ring.  After getting the mic from Duck Eko, Razorblade said the past few weeks had been the craziest in his QCW career and that was saying a lot.  First, he & Justice win Tag Team Turmoil, then the next week Justice is taken out, then at Golden Rule he gets the hell beaten out of him and when he comes to not only is he a tag champ but the guy who helped him out and is taking one of the belts off his shoulder is – is – of all the people in the back – Nazir el-Fadal?!  The crowd popped and chanted for Naz, causing Razorblade to shake his head and say if they wanted to cheer for that jackal, that was on them - but either way, he wanted Naz to get his ass to the ring right now so he could get to the bottom of some things.

  • “So Be It” by Clipse brought out Nazir el-Fadal to a monster reaction of his own, strutting down the ramp with his JIHAD 1 rugby jersey and his share of the tag titles gleaming over his left shoulder.  Naz went to hit the turnbuckles and pose but Razorblade yanked him down before hissing questioningly if Naz was behind the attack on Justice two weeks ago so he could take his spot and win the belts.  Naz held up a finger so he could get a mic of his own from Duck.  Naz joked that Razorblade threw a wildly crappy championship celebration but Razorblade barked at him to cut the crap - what happened to Justice has Naz’s stink all over it.  Razorblade continued but Naz shut him down, saying that it didn't because when you're Nazir el-Fadal you don't need to jump the Justices of the world - if he was going to jump Justice he’d let everyone know about it and do it out here in public, not out back in the loading dock, and hell, Apple TV would be begging to make a eight part limited series documentary about it.  And to be real real about things, he had more important things to worry about than JD’s boo boos.  He had his Duquesne match up next, Razorblade had his put in the main event somehow and if he would focus on his current partner who had won them the belts instead of the one on the shelf then they could rule the tag division for years.   Naz didn't want to come out here to get accused of crimes he didn't commit, he wanted to win the Duquesne for the first time - but if Razorblade wanted to apologize, he could stand on the outside and watch his back while he rinsed Caleb Gray faster than Old Man Jones did on Sunday night.  It would be a nice way of saying thank you.

  • Razorblade let out a short bark of a laugh, saying it would be April 34th before he thanked Naz for anything.  At this point “Shall We Gather At the River?’ hit the PA and brought out the Chosen with a clearly fuming Caleb Gray leading the procession of him and his acolytes towards the ring.  Razorblade said to Naz he wasn't going to stand in his corner because he didn't trust him, and if he found out he was behind the attack on Justice then he would take apart Naz in sections whether or not they were tag team champions.  Razorblade scowled at Naz before he left the ring and headed back the way he came.  As Steve was hyping the MalicΓa/Razorblade main event and Naz was demanding Razorblade come back here and thank him for saving his sorry ass, Caleb slid into the ring and waffled Naz from behind.  Gray got in a few stomps before a referee got in the ring and pulled Caleb off Naz.  Gray and the zebra argued, allowing Naz a window to get up and lash out with a cross chop to the throat that staggered Gray.back.  Now the ref had to pull Naz off of Caleb, and managed to get both complaining men in neutral corners before calling for the bell.

  • 3. Nazir el-Fadal d. “The Purifier” Caleb Gray (w/the Chosen) at 10:45 in a first round Duquesne Classic match  The pregame shenanigans effectively got rid of the feeling out period, and el-Fadal jumped out to an early lead.  Naz forced Caleb into a corner but instead of breaking clean, he rocked Gray with a European uppercut, then tacked on four more for good measure.  As Naz continued attacking, Steve pointed out that this was a rematch from last year's quarterfinals where Naz had ended Caleb's chances of becoming the first back-to-back Cup winner.  But Gray couldn't get the measure of revenge he sought, and after Naz countered a desperate attempt at Repent with his Heat Check cobra clutch Lungblower, Gray rolled out to the floor to buy some recovery time.  Naz fired up the faithful and went for a tope suicida, but the End Times stood in the scope to protect Caleb and take the tope instead.  That was all the opening Caleb needed to sneak up on Naz and toss him into the ring post, sending Allah's Anointed splattering on the outside to boos.

  • Caleb shut out that noise and picked up Naz before sticking him with a DDT on the floor.  The Purifier rolled back in the ring and was content to win by countout, but a reeling el-Fadal managed to break the count at nine and flop back into the ring.  Gray looked peeved for a few moments but merely waited on his opponent to get up before laying him out with Reap the Whirlwind; the cyclone kick took Naz down but not out as he managed to shoulder out at 2½.: As Caleb continued wearing down Naz, Carl pointed out on commentary that if Gray could win the Cup again, he’d get a World title rematch against Jupiter at Mayday Payday.  Caleb continued rolling - literally and figuratively, as a chained trio of German suplexes sent Naz rolling out to the apron to try and break up Caleb's momentum but it was too late for that now.   Gray staggered Naz with some rights and went to put his lights out with a superkick, but Naz dodged it and he ended up kicking the ring post.  To.add injury to injury, that slight misstep was all the opening that Naz needed to pick him up and plant him into the apron with the Hamrin Valley Driver.  The crowd cheered, gasped and groaned as the impact saw Naz almost bounce off of Caleb to the floor…but Caleb wasn't moving at all.

  • We got a couple of replays as Naz gathered himself on the floor, audible “Holy shit!” chants popped up throughout Quality Arena.  el-Fadal slid back in the ring with an evil smirk on his face before grabbing a limp Gray up by his arms then running into a corner with another Hamrin Valley Driver that sent the patriarch of the Chosen heels over head.  The follow up dose of Nazquil put to bed any shot Caleb had of winning the Cup twice in three years and gave Naz the dub.

  • After replays, we saw Caleb limp up the aisle, occasionally screaming and ignoring the pleas from Goody Gardner as the End Times trailed behind her.  Bad week for the 2024 Duquesne Classic winner and a great week for the man celebrating on the turnbuckles while pointing at the Cup; Naz will take on the winner of next week's Nancy Crowley v. “Night Sky” Diana Spare match in the quarterfinals.  More Ruckus on the way after a few commercials.

  • We saw the previously online only footage of the Undaunted after their match at Golden Rule and they were understandably angry after Serge Batroc and “the Proper Villain” Richard Windsor cheated to beat them in Seattle,  The proud Irishmen demanded a fair rematch against the snobby Euros, and “Unforgettable” Dave Mullin promised that if they got that rematch they’d be the ones getting their hands raised and they wouldn't need any [censored] tricks to do it; now they weren't just Undaunted, they were out for blood.  He & Tim “the Only Hope” McMurray walked off backstage on Sunday night; we went back to the ring on this Friday night for some trios action.

  • 4. Sky’s the Limit d. The All Starr Stable (w/S. Mark Starr) at 8:26 A match between two factions looking to bounce back from recent losses and get things going in a positive direction with a win here.  It was the Stable who jumped out ahead early, with Evan O'Neill and Prince Ootsuka combining on a slingshot spear into a snap cobra clutch suplex on Kam Ellis to take down the power man of the Air Force alumni.  Starr was borderline manic on the floor as the black hats took over, sensing that an elusive victory was finally coming his unit’s way.  But the match changed minutes later when Ellis pulled Ootsuka in front of another slingshot spear, then laid out Evan with a massive Blue Thunder bomb.  That gave him the window to get to DeMarius Cooper and make a tag, allowing Mare and then his twin brother DeMarcus to light up the Stable like Times Square.  While the All Starrs have bonded over the years, it couldn't come close to matching the Coopers’ bond or varied high flying offense.  The Stable managed a brief rally that got wiped out in short order when Kam hit a massive tope suicide that took out both Ootsuka and “Upper Class” Broderick Palmer II; there was no way O’Neill was going to win a three on one handicap match and Sky’s the Limit ping ponged him around the ring for the match’s final moments.  The Coopers ended it with Aim High, and after getting hit with the tandem 450° splash x guillotine legdrop Mare pinned O’Neill.  Sky’s the Limit celebrated their way to the back while Starr put the bad mouth on O’Neill for costing them another match.

  • We cut to Commissioner Holmes in his office talking to someone on the phone when some loud rapid fire knocks caused him to depart the call and invite the loud knocker in.  You could hear the crowd groan in the background as Drake Tremble walked in and demanded an opportunity to be in the Duquesne Classic.  How could a three time QCW champion – let alone a hometown hero from North Parts Unknown – be Forsaken yet again like this?  Was Holmes just another Caleb Gray with more power?  Drake continued on like that for a few more beats before Holmes cut him off and said there was one bracket of the Classic left open, so if Drake could break his losing streak and win a play-in match, he was in.

  • The catch was, they were about to hit the last commercial break tonight, so that gave Drake 150 seconds to get ready and head to the ring startiiiiing…now! Drake stared at Holmes for a few seconds before running for the door, tripping over himself on the way out.  Holmes shook his head as we went to break.

  • 5. “The Forsaken” Drake Tremble d. Jonathan Livingston Clipper Esq. at 7:51 in a Duquesne Classic play in match Both men wrestled with a sense of desperation given their respective losing streaks (Drake's being much longer, obviously).  After a short feeling out period, JLCE came off the ropes with a spinning heel kick and began to take over.  In fact, the match was 90% Clipper's as he used his youth and power advantages to the point where Tremble bailed to the floor and brought in a steel chair.  The referee stopped him before he could connect with a shot, but as the zebra got rid of the chair Tremble kicked a field goal with Jonathan's buoys.  The ref turned back to the action just in time to see Tremble drop the Captain with the Broken Halo discus back elbow and pick up a win much to the disgust of the Quality Controllers.  Drake paid them no mind and celebrated like he’d just won the World Series with a grand slam, leaving the ref to check on a groggy and unlucky Clipper in the ring.

  • Before the main event, Steve and Carl hyped up πŸ’« next week's Ruckus πŸ’«, which will continue and conclude the first round of the Duquesne Classic: now that he's forced his way into the tournament, Drake Tremble is one half of the mystery bracket and we’ll find out who he's facing next week πŸ’« the relentless rivalry between the Forbidden Book Club and Hysteria continues when Nancy Crowley faces off against “Night Sky” Diana Spare πŸ’« Tre Boyd may’ve drawn the shortest straw as he goes up against the Republic’s seething 2x former World champion Omar Littlefield πŸ’« and Summer Rose looks to down the heavy hitter Jacques Krieger

  • Say, speaking of first round Duquesne Classic matches, it's time for the main event between two people who’ve gotten to know and hate each other pretty well since last summer…

  • 6. MalicΓa Fernandez (w/Ig de Catur, the Republic and Republic Enforcement) d. Mason “Razorblade” Savage at 10:54 in a first round Duquesne Classic match Another great match between the off and on again rivals culminated in a minor upset that sent me crowd home unhappy, as MalicΓa not only got the W but did so cleanly.  Razorblade may have been distracted by the Justice attack and Naz being his new partner as well as banged up from Sunday night, but have you met Mason Savage?  You know he isn't going to let that sort of thing stop him from slugging away and raising hell, especially against any of the Republic’s foot soldiers.  Savage fired off plenty of massive rights right from jump, and after kicking Fernandez’s leg out from under her to set up a ring shaking double underhook suplex, Razorblade looked to follow up with one of his King Kong lariats.  He shot out of the corner and it connected but to the shock of the arena it barely wobbled Fernandez.  MalicΓa glared at the Grand Slam winner before spitting in his face, and that gave her just enough of an opening to snatch him up and lay him out with a big MF5 to turn the tide of the match her way.

  • MalicΓa couldn't match weight with Razorblade but he couldn't match her height, and she brought down her barrage of elbows from on high to repeatedly send Razorblade down.  As she took over on offense the announcers pointed out that former National and World Tag Team champion MalicΓa was only a World title away from the Triple Crown, and she could get a shot at it at Mayday Payday if she could win the Duquesne.  Razorblade began fighting out from under and managed a brief rally only to have it shut down by a roundhouse kick from the lanky luchadora that got her a nearfall.  Fernandez didn't need Ig’s urging to stay on the attack, hitting a massive lariat that sent Razorblade spinning before he smacked into the canvas.  MalicΓa got on the move when he started to stir, then connected with a somersault axe kick that left Razorblade having to kick out at 2¾.  MalicΓa glared at the referee over the count but quickly got back in motion and went for the Death Warrant.  Razorblade managed to dodge it, then took Fernandez down with a spinebuster.  MalicΓa didn't stay down for long, but another massive lariat rocked her long enough for Savage to hit La Monstrua with another spinebuster that kept MalicΓa down and helped fuel Razorblade's second wind.

  • Savage brought the house and tried to bring it crashing down on MalicΓa's head.  A couple more lariats, a couple of spinebusters and most impressively a delayed vertical suplex that lasted nearly half a minute.   As he was rolling, Jacques Krieger suddenly jumped the dividing barrier and leaped onto Omar Littlefield and began firing rights and lefts before Republic Enforcement swallowed him up and laid a beating on him.  Razorblade looked over at the beating on the floor and shook his head before he turned back to MalicΓa and threw her shoulder first into the ringpost before setting up for the Soul Crusher that had won him championship after championship in QCW.  Savage took MalicΓa up to the top rope but as he tried to hoist her up on her shoulders MalicΓa slipped free and bounced his head off of the ringpost with a dull thud.  The Quality Controllers groaned as Razorblade went limp and MalicΓa snatched Savage up in a goozle.  Fernandez took a step up to the top rope then flew off and took them both to the mat with an avalanche chokeslam that folded Razorblade up like a K-3 off suit.  Fernandez got to her feet first before letting out a roar and grabbing Razorblade off the deck.  He couldn't stop the Death Warrant from getting signed this time or the three count that followed.  “The Old Guard Is Dead” rang out over the PA and the crowd booed as MalicΓa posed over Razorblade's body.  Carl said he hated to say it, but Razorblade had just gotten flat out beat and it wasn't all because of what went down on Sunday night.

  • Replays fired off highlights from MalicΓa’s win and when we came back to live action Ig was hugging a stone faced Fernandez while telling her the Duquesne was here for the taking.  The win by MalicΓa sends her to the quarterfinals, where she'll face the winner of next week's match between Tre Boyd and her Republic co-conspirator Omar Littlefield.  Ruckus ended with Fernandez standing next to the Cup with Ig enthusiastically clapping next to her and Steve wondering if we were seeing a preview of things to come.

FDSN Florida Presents QCW Ruckus [s4e21 • March 28th, 2025]

Broadcast live on FanDuel Sports Network Florida

  • A decently sized recap package for Golden Rule opened the show set to Fight Like Apes’ “Pull Off Your Arms and Let's Play In Your Blood”. The biggest chunk went to the double main event where “Night Sky” Diana Spare and Mason “Razorblade” Savage walked out of Dublin as double champions much to the joy of the punters in attendance.

  • Standard open rolled and we zoomed into the sold out Arena with QCW’s big 3 (Steve/Carl/Duck) in their spots.  Steve hyped that this was going to be a special episode of Ruckus, as we would find out who would be in this year's Duquesne Classic that starts next week via qualifying matches that start right now.  He threw to Duck Eko, who made the introductions as the evening's action got underway…

  • 1. Ashley “THEE Influencer” Szabo (w/“Tiki God” Al Buffett) d. Sohla Patel at 5:14 in a 2025 Duquesne Classic qualifying match Last year’s runner up looked pretty dominant on her way to punching her ticket into this year's Classic.  Former champion Patel cheated to get an advantage and held it for a small stretch before Ashley overwhelmed her.  A flurry of familiar looking hammer and anvil elbows set up Smash That Subscribe Button for the win.  Announce noted she’ll face the winner of Justice Davis v. Drake Tremble in the quarterfinals next week and how focused she was on winning the Cup this year instead of coming in second.

  • The Chosen were in formation on a set of stairs somewhere backstage and they were all even more sour faced than usual.  “The Purifier” Caleb Gray looked like he was about to scream at the camera but Goody Gardner managed to soothingly talk him off of the edge before delivering the bile filled promo herself.  She gave a snarling passive aggressive prayer that Razorblade's titles reign would be a short one before focusing on the crown jewel of the Chosen - the Duquesne Cup, which would stay in their possession for another year when the Classic was over.  Both “the Paragon” Drake Tremble and Gray would win their qualifying matches tonight and one of them would hold the Cup whether Drake won it all or Caleb became the first back-to-back Classic winner in decades.  They all chanted “Faith! Over! Fear!” for a bit before walking down the steps and then off camera, still in formation.

  • 2. Ashok Banjerjee d. Prince Ootsuka (w/the All Starr Stable) at 7:27 in a 2025 Duquesne Classic qualifying match The returning Ashok punched his ticket into the Classic with a narrow win and got some inadvertent help from an unlikely source: Jacques Krieger, who appeared out of nowhere to jump S. Mark Starr from behind and pounded on his former manager until A Cut Above went after their old bodyguard and chased him to the back.  That distraction allowed Ashok to drill Ootsuka with a poison rana and the Decolonizer Driver to secure the W – Ashok will face either Pyotr Caviar or Krieger himself in the quarterfinals next week.

  • The lights went off in Quality Arena and when they came back on Hysteria was in the ring.  Bonnie Agrippa said that after winning the Dealer’s Choice at Golden Rule, she was leaving the qualifying matches for chumps and heading straight into the Duquesne.  She then passed the mic to Luz Cruz, who barely got out a sentence about losing the Women's World championship at the PPV before the rest of Hysteria swarmed Cruz in a shocker.  Luz ate Twelve Feet Under and a spike brainbuster before Bonnie got the mic back and said that since Luz couldn't achieve the coven’s dreams, if she didn't run away from QCW again Bonnie and the rest of her Hysteria would turn her life into a waking nightmare.  The lights went off and on again; when they came back on Luz was still crumpled in the ring like a K-4 offsuit.

  • 3. “The Purifier” Caleb Gray (w/the Chosen) d. Jupiter Jones at 11:30 in a 2025 Duquesne Classic qualifying match Rough week for the legendary Jones, as he lost to Pyotr Caviar on the Golden Rule preshow and ate the fall at the hands of the defending Duquesne Cup holder.  Jones was in control of the match early but went for his trusty Bolt From Olympus too soon and took a rough landing on the apron when Caleb dumped him over the top rope with his dodge.  Jones managed to avoid a countout loss but it put him on a back foot he wasn't able to shed the rest of the way.  Gray focused on working over the back and neck of Jones, avoided a clumsy attempt at a second Bolt and put Collipark’s father figure down with Repent.  Tonight's main event is Nazir el-Fadal vs. Serge Batroc and Gray will face the winner next week in the quarterfinals.

Caleb cut a brief post match promo as Collipark helped Jupiter to the back, saying not only that anyone who tried to stop him from winning the Cup would fall to their knees and repent but that once he went down in history for winning the Classic in back to back years he’d burn Razorblade's reign down to be the double champion that Quality Christian Wrestling deserved.  The Chosen hovered around the Cup that was at ringside before Caleb gave it a couple of loving pats.

  • A backstage segment showed Interim Commissioner Ig bumping the debut of incoming foursome Sky's the Limit to next week's show, something that pissed off Tre Boyd (the leader of the pack based on him getting the most time to talk).

  • 4. Pyotr Caviar (w/Serge Batroc) d. Jacques Krieger at 8:20 in a 2025 Duquesne Classic qualifying match This wasn't exactly a hoss fight, but it wasn't too far off, either.  It took a couple of minutes before the first big move of the match saw Caviar absolutely blast Krieger with a pop up European uppercut and take over from there.  Krieger managed a couple of kickouts and landed a rare spinning DDT to counter Caviar’s Hit My Music then dropped Pyotr with a heart punch to the roar of the crowd.  Krieger started to build momentum in his own right and wobbled Caviar with a noisy shotei but Pyotr ducked another and flattened Jacques with a running crossbody.  After hitting that, Caviar dropped Krieger with a German suplex that landed One Eye on his chest, then followed up with a discus Russian sickle and Hit My Music for the win.  Pyotr will face Ashok Banjerjee next week in the quarterfinals; appropriately enough after the All Starr Stable hit the ring to add injury to injury on their former ally it was Ashok who hit the ring with a chair to run off the Stable.  Serge ended up holding Pyotr back and leading him backstage as Ashok had some smacktalk for the retreating Tracksuit Tsar.

  • The injury report coming out of Golden Rule focused on the hard hitting ambulance match.  Nazir el-Fadal needed 21 stitches in his face and suffered facial lacerations on the way to a win over Omar Littlefield - who hasn't been heard from or seen since the ambulance drove off into the Dublin night.

  • 5. MalicΓa Fernandez and Orion fought to a double countout at 8:06 in a 2025 Duquesne Classic qualifying match Bonnie earned the Dealer’s Choice in part because MalicΓa cut off Orion from what looked like a winning climb with a massive powerbomb; both Fernandez and Orion picked up from where their hostilities in Dublin left off.  Orion played David to MalicΓa’s Goliath early and her stick and move offense was working until Fernandez caught them flying off the top rope and planted Orion with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker.  MalicΓa's strength took over the match and snuffed out an attempted Orion rally by military pressing the cosmic superstar from the ring into the announce table, which drew “Holy shit!” chants from the crowd.  Fernandez cleared off the table and set Orion up for a powerbomb through the announce table but Orion countered with a hurancanrana that sent MalicΓa flying into the ringpost.  Orion tried to get back into the ring but MalicΓa picked their leg and threw them into the retaining barrier.  Fernandez couldn't get back up after that and the referee finished counting both of them out; now, not only does Bonnie get into the Duquesne but MalicΓa and Orion taking each other out allows Agrippa a bye right into the semifinals.

  • Duck Eko introduced QCW National and World Champion Razorblade to a massive ovation from the faithful in the Arena.  Mason Savage hit the ring and held up his belt, sending white pyro flying from the ringposts and a baptism of gold pyro rained down on the stage.  Once the “You deserve it!” chants died down, Savage thanked the crowd for supporting him all these years and pointed out that now that he’d beaten Caleb there was another target on his back - but he wouldn't have it any other way.  He’d fought for years to earn being QCW’s #1 and he was going to keep fighting to defend and hold onto both titles as long as he possibly could.  So that meant his focus was on the Duquesne Classic even though he wasn't in it, because no matter who won they'd be coming after him and his titles.  But when they did, they’d end up like Caleb, like Naz, like Omar, and he’d still walk out cham…

The noise from the crowd got Razorblade's attention and he prepared himself for an attack, but that's not what he got.  Justice Davis came out for his qualifying match without theme music and completely ignored Razorblade even after The Double Champ asked him repeatedly what was going on with him.  Eventually Savage left frustrated, and “entirely coincidentally” the Chosen waited a few beats before coming out in support of their Paragon’s attempt to go after the Cup and sort of serve as Caleb insurance as well.

  • 6. Justice Davis d. “The Paragon” Drake Tremble (w/the Chosen) at 6:25 in a 2025 Duquesne Classic qualifying match Davis has been a thorn in Tremble’s side since arriving and added this one sided showcase to that resume on his way to advancing into the Duquesne proper.  The End Times provided a distraction for Tremble to get in a couple of cheap shots but ultimately JD shook it off and sent a message by planting Tremble with four JDDDTs before pinning him without even hooking a leg on the cover.  Justice rolled out of the ring and headed silently to the back before the ref could raise his hand; say this for the Chosen, they knew enough to let him pass.

  • πŸ’« Next week's Ruckus πŸ’« will feature the actual debut of Sky’s the Limit, “Night Sky” Diana Spare will return to Quality Arena for the first time since becoming double champion at Golden Rule, and let's review the quarterfinals of the 2025 Duquesne Classic: the double countout between MalicΓa Fernandez and Orion earlier means Bonnie Agrippa actually gets a bye into the semifinals, where she'll face the winner of Justice Davis vs. Ashley “THEE Influencer” Szabo | On the other side of the bracket, Ashok Banjerjee and Pyotr Caviar will face off, with the winner of that bout to face off against either “the Purifier” Caleb Gray or the winner of Serge/Naz in the main event.

  • 7. Nazir el-Fadal d. Serge Batroc (w/Pyotr Caviar) at 7:12 in a 2025 Duquesne Classic qualifying match The man who won the Cup in 2022 won't be taking it home in 2025, as Naz killed off the French Assassin's chances of victory this year.  It was already bizarre seeing Quality Arena explode into cheers at the arrival of the One Man Jihad, cheers that only intensified when el-Fadal responded to Serge’s opening shove by stomping on his boot and backhanding him.  Naz continued on his roll early, staying a step ahead of Batroc and eventually cleared him from the ring after a pair of Saito suplexes and a cracking leg lariat.  When Naz rolled out of the ring, Caviar was standing in his way and blocking the path towards his mentor.  el-Fadal had plenty of smacktalk for the Tracksuit Tsar, but Caviar took it all stoically.  Once he realized he wasn't going to get a reaction he went back after Serge but the proud Frenchman saw him coming and launched him with a massive pop up European uppercut.  Even worse for Naz, his free fall meant the back of his head and upper back that were already covered by kinesio tape smacked the announce table on his way down.  Batroc rolled into the ring to recover for a few beats but then rolled back out to grab a slumped over Naz and fling the One Man Jihad into the steel steps back first.  Once he got Naz back into the ring, Serge took over with suplexes and a couple of minutes later hit a long distance guillotine legdrop for 2 ¾.  But Naz managed to avoid the Arc de Triomphe once by cocooning himself in the ropes and a second time with a springboard into his Night Night hiptoss Michinoku Driver.  When both men got to their feet Naz spiked Serge with another one, then lit Serge up with a barrage of European uppercuts in a corner then rode that momentum into the quarterfinals.  The self proclaimed Greatest Man Alive put a button on the match by spiking Serge with an Iconoclasm to set up Nazquil, staring down Pyotr while he made the winning pinfall.  Next week in the quarterfinals it’ll be the One Man Jihad vs. the Purifier i

  • The show ended with Naz eye fucking the Duquesne Cup and the Quality Controllers cheering it on just in case you're wondering whether or not hell’s frozen over this year.

GRPL+ Presents QCW Ruckus [s2e26 • April 21, 2023]

LAST WEEK ON RUCKUS:

  • Both Anton Stahl and Autumn Powers qualified for the Duquesne Classic with Powers forcing her way into the Beat the Clock discussion

  • The Wonderful Ward Brothers retained the Unified World Tag Team championships over the Game Changers thanks to some unseen help from Pyotr Caviar

  • The Revenant retained his TV title but had to hear some smack talk from The Unified Champ - who actually invited a cash in attempt and called himself QCW'S Big Bad

We got pyro to burn and fans to pop; the Quality Arena is packed and we have Steve and Naz here for another big episode of Ruckus - we'll find out who will be the last two to qualify for the Duquesne Classic in two weeks, and there's a PPV worthy main event with Autumn Powers challenging the Revenant for the GRPL+ World Television championship, but tonight's fights begin with a different type of title action.

"Bodak Yellow" was track 1 on tonight's playlist, bringing out the QCW Women's World Champion Lolo Vuitton with OnlyFitness in tow behind her.  As they walked that aisle, GRPL+ Helpfully Reminded Us That Last Week Lolo was in an absolute barnburner with longtime rival Autumn Powers in a Duquesne qualifying match but ultimately came up short.  From last week's footage we went live to the ring where Lolo said that was a pretty moment for Autumn, but that's all it was.  Autumn had to take out Scott and had Karyn worried sick so her focus was split then and it was lasered now.  This was still her division and still her title, so that's why the challenge was open for bidNASS.  Let any foolish trick mess around and find out that Lolo Vuitton still runs – and then she got cut off by Muse's "New Born" and a big pop from the crowd.

Ashley "THEE Influencer" Szabo came out with the Tiki God by her side and a mic in hand, waiting for the cheers to die down before pausing halfway down the ramp to address Lolo.  She said that Lolo kept dangling her title and tonight was the night that she was going to get caught, because the last time she and Big Al saw OnlyFitness a couple weeks ago she was the one pinning Lolo's little sidekick.  This got the oohs and oh snaps from the crowd that you'd expect but Ashley continued through them, saying that this time she was going to pin Lolo and change the game again by becoming THEE Women's World Champion.  Ashley tossed aside the mic and headed to the ring to grab her first singles gold in QCW.

| • Lolo Vuitton [c] (w/OnlyFitness) d. Ashley "THEE Influencer" Szabo (w/"Tiki God" Al Buffett) in an open challenge to retain the QCW Women's World Championship • | But Lolo stopped her from doing so and won clean to boot in a good opener that had the crowd fired up from the start.

Both women alternated having the upper hand for the first couple of minutes of the match, but the champ tipped the scales her way when she snatched Ashley by the braid and pulled her backwards into an almost inverted powerslam that left Szabo clutching her ribs on the mat.  Vuitton focused her attack on the back and guts of THEE Influencer, using her massive wingspan to really get the most possible torque out of a bow and arrow hold that she could.

Al fired up the faithful and Ashley started getting out from under, but when both women got to their feet Lolo landed a discus back elbow that crumpled up Ashley before Lolo started once again bragging to the crowd about how much she ran this.  Vuitton even stomped on Ashley’s hand when she dared reach for her, paintbrushing the back of her head and warning her to stay down.

Szabo didn’t, of course, fighting her way from the mat to land some shots to Lolo’s well defined abs.  Ashley started punching up from there, and when Vuitton tried to get away Ashley got a measure of revenge by pulling her by the hair before she dropped her down with a falling reverse DDT.

The Woman of A Trillion Likes kept up the offense and soon had Vuitton reeling and down on the mat for nearfalls.  With Al pacing on the outside, it looked as if Ashley was going to fulfill her promise and win the title when she went up to the top rope, but she did it a bit close to where Scott & Karyn were and they quickly started protesting loudly, bringing Al over to try and keep things in the ring for his partner.  But Karyn’s partner was the one who took advantage of the situation, blasting Szabo with a Bloody Shoe when she was on the top rope that sent her bouncing off the apron and down to the mats outside in a heap - leaving Szabo conscious but not much else besides that.  Lolo seemingly shooed everybody on the outside away after she rolled out to get Ashley and bring her back inside the ring, then she slammed the door shut on the title defense with a second Bloody Shoe.  Hopefully now that this is out of their systems they can do a collab together WHO SAID THAT I’ll turn this car around right now, Helen, goddamnit ** ½

After replays we saw the ref and Al help a woozy Ashley to the back while in the ring, Lolo held up the title with one hand and slapped her chest proudly with the other, saying loudly and proudly that she ran this.  Karyn and Scott weren’t obviously as enthused as she was but after Lolo talked to them they seemed a little bit more upbeat about things.   The announce put over Lolo handling a tough challenge from Ashley but managing to walk out still champion, and then proceeded to wonder what would be next for her and OnlyFitness.

From there we threw to a stinger for hot new signee "Superfine" Reggie Strong, who hyped up QCW as the finest wrestling organization in the land & with a chuckle added that it was only fitting that the finest wrestler in the land would be making his debut next week.  The Nephew of Style (I smell incoming merch) pressed anyone watching thanks to the fine folks at G+ to make sure they didn't miss out and gave a friendly warning that wives, girlfriends and in some rare cases pets may become pregnant if they're too close to the screen - so exercise the proper levels of caution if you're worried 'bout it.  And as for Pierce Moore?

"(lengthy yet somehow sauve laugh) Who? (more laughing)"

Naz dismissed him as an unemployed gigolo while Steve enthused about his suits and smile – but no matter what kind of way he makes you feel, pregnant or otherwise, "Superfine" Reggie Strong makes his QCW debut on next week's Ruckus.

| • Jacques Krieger d. Atum Pharaoh in a Duquesne Classic qualifying match • | Another trademark Krieger boat racing; that wasn't what was interesting.  DUD

The post match might've gone viral.

Krieger grabbed the mic from Duck, but kept him from going back to his seat and asked if he was on top of the Duquesne leaderboard after his win (of course he was).  Krieger nodded twice, almost grinned, and then cut a rare promo.

“I’m still undefeated, I’ve got the #1 seed for the Classic, and I’m done waiting around to get fed – I’m just going to go after the biggest guy in the yard and see if his undead ass can do anything about it.

The Rev’s the biiiig bad from what I’ve been hearing, and if he is then he wouldn’t have any problems ending an undefeated streak, would he?”

A buzz grew in the crowd but Krieger talked through it and continued: “I know he’s fighting Autumn in the main tonight, and I suspect he’s winning it.  So in that case, he can bring the TV title with him next week and we can see who the real Big Bad of QCW is.

Me.

Rev.

TV title.

Next week.”

Krieger tossed aside the mic and everybody lost their damn minds, including you.  Steve almost had an arrhythmia hyping up a potential title v. undefeated streak while Naz erred more cautiously, saying that Krieger would be jumping up several levels of talent to face a being like the Revenant.  Still, as “Rumble” blared and Krieger took his walk to the back ignoring the chants and cheers, the announce sent us into the break continuing to imagine what Krieger v. the Rev would look like if it came to pass.

We came back to Duck in the ring, who announced the final Duquesne Classic qualifying match (this is definitely going to take longer than Krieger’s 16 seconds):

| • "These Hands" Roy Fade d. "The Fury" Jim Jaspers (w/"the Proper King" Richard Windsor) in a Duquesne Classic qualifying match • | In the earlier times of the Quarantine Era Jaspers and Fade had a rivalry and it didn’t take them long to get back to renewing hostilities with a Classic slot on the line here.

Despite Jaspers having some background in European chain wrestling, this was two bruisers looking to hurt each other.  Fade got the upper hand early, even when things broke out into a brawl on the floor.  These Hands used some underhanded tactics to gouge away at the eye of Jaspers before hitting a nasty modified gourdbuster across the announce table that had Jaspers crumple into the floor and Fade back in the ring demanding that the ref count Old Jim out.  Jaspers managed to get back into the ring at 8 and put up a rally, but Fade parked a back elbow right into Jaspers’ bad eye when he charged him in the corner and Jaspers went down in a heap never to fully recover.

The returning Fade lit up Jaspers with his Golden Glove earning hands before drilling him with his (and Jaspers’) signature, the Decision slamming his knee across Jim’s jaw and earning him the final spot in the 2023 Duquesne.  ** ½

After replays, we saw the full list of who had made the tournament (“Dark Mirror” Beckett Carpenter, Fade, Autumn Powers, Anton “Teknik” Stahl, and Karyn Tisch-Warren) as well as who snagged the top three seeds (Krieger in at #1, with Drake Tremble sliming his way to #2 and Super AviΓ³n in the third seed; Krieger can name any first round opponent he wants; Tremble gets second pick after that, etc.)

| • "Night Sky" Diana Spare [c] d. Midsomar to retain the Crush championship 4️⃣ • | The masked newcomer got folded into a cube in the showcase for the Crush champion, who polished off the opposition with a Nightfall in a few short minutes.

As Spare was getting her belt back and her hand raised, she got interrupted on the Qualitron 9004 by Sohla Patel, who said she’d heard Diana’s bitter words and after clearing her schedule with her agents would be more than glad to engage in combat with Miss Hot Topic next week.  Of course, after she defeated her she would spend next weekend sterilizing the title to get the stench of Diana off of it, and then her subsequent days restoring it to prominence and glory.  Next week, the Crush championship belongs to her.  The crowd booed this as she blipped off the screen, but a steely eyed Spare found a camera to get her face in front of and said off mic that next week there wouldn’t be a stunt double to save the queen of Bollywood – she’s going to get her mouthy ass kicked and Diana’s going to love every minute of it.  Announce hyped up next week’s Crush championship fight ahead of some more commercial messages.

| • the International Workrate Consortium (w/the Wonderful Ward Brothers) d. The Hard Way & Katsuji Ootsuka • | We kicked off the back half of the show with trios action featuring the Consortium against perennial thorns and former tag champs the Hard Way alongside Ambassador trios champion Ootsuka.  Ootsuka couldn’t turn to his usual partners in the Proper Villains with Jim Jaspers attempting to get in the Duquesne earlier in the evening and thus turned to the ex champions to support him here.

With the Unified World Tag Team champions on the outside, the Consortium looked pretty cohesive early on as Anton Stahl took over the offense and used his matwork to tie up both members of the Hard Way but things took a turn when John Goodish managed to counter out of a German suplex attempt and make the tag to Ootsuka; the Prince of Punishment started quickening the pace and making things better with his high flying offense, first disorienting and dropping Anton, then Serge Batroc when he tried to interfere and save his compatriot – but never mind that crap, here comes Pyotr Caviar.  Caviar’s illegal entry into the ring led to a Pier 6, and with a combined effort the Hard Way and Ootsuka managed to drive him from the ring and fire up the faithful leading into commercials.

Even on the other side of the break, Ootsuka was maintaining control of the match and of Anton.  But the tricky Caviar blind tagged himself in and Anton willingly ate a basement rana driver before Ootsuka found out the hard way (sorry) who the legal man was when Caviar almost bisected him with a 337 pound running crossbody.

The Consortium – well, Serge and Pyotr – took over for the next bit, easily tagging in and out while working Ootsuka over.  Ootsuka had to kick out several times but the IWC kept the pressure on.

It looked like things were going to be over when Pyotr delivered a Russian sickle to send a wobbly Katsuji into the waiting arms of Serge’s Arc de Triomphe, but both Goodish & Paul Fifita ran in the ring to save the match for the white hats.  Another Pier 6 was on from there, and much as they had before the break Ootsuka & the Hard Way got the upper hand and managed to clear the ring of the IWC – however, Ootsuka still needed to tag out.  Even worse, when he went to dive for his corner, both Anton and Pyotr had grabbed the Hard Way off the apron and pulled them to the floor to keep him from tagging out.  The former TV champion still threw the house at last year’s Duquesne Cup holder up to and including a swank handspring tornado DDT that got him 2 ½, but when he went to close Serge out with a basement rana driver the French Assassin countered with a vicious overhead powerbomb that almost left Ootsuka coughing up blood on the mat.  Serge put an exclamation point on things with the Arc de Triomphe to secure a IWC W.   ** 1/2

After replays, Serge and the Consortium stood tall in the ring with Batroc holding the microphone, barely sweating as he said he’d let everyone else have their say last week because he’d rather do his talking in the ring this week, and you saw the results of that.  The crowd booed and Serge shook his head at them, saying you’d seen nothing but triumph after triumph from the Consortium recently…and the biggest triumph to come would happen next week.  Viva Le Serge (everybody now) and LONG LIVE THE CONSORTIUM!  “Engel” came on to boos while Steve and Naz wondered what Consortium triumph would occur next week before we went to the last big block of commercials on the night.

Back from the break and ahead of the big main event, we got clued in on some big things happening on next week's show:

πŸ“Ί The debut of the Nephew of Style, "Superfine" Reggie Strong πŸ“Ί

πŸ“Ί Diana Spare faces off against Sohla Patel for the Crush championship πŸ“Ί

πŸ“Ί The still undefeated Jacques Krieger gets his requested shot at the GRPL+ World TV title regardless of who wins the main event πŸ“Ί

πŸ“Ί But next week's Ruckus will kick off with the Pick 'Em Protocol where Krieger, (eternal sigh) Tremble and Super AviΓ³n will pick their first round opponents for the Duquesne to come two weeks from tonight live from Center Stage in the A πŸ“Ί

There are things to come in a couple weeks as well as on next week’s show, but it’s all about the here and now…

| | • the main event • | |

“Mota” by the Offspring hit the PA and you could see the Quality Controllers cheer and whip their heads towards the Tron as Autumn Powers came out, popping the crowd even bigger.  Steve noted that the former two time Women’s World Champion was definitely focused coming out to the ring, slapping far fewer fans’ hands than usual.  Naz added that if he was going to be in a small space with the personification of Death he might look pretty grim about things himself – before finding a way to win, of course.

Steve groaned, Naz let out a little cackle, and then the lights went out for the most dominant TV champion QCW has ever seen.  An elevator appropriately resembling his signature red right hand lifted from the stage and brought out the Revenant to boos with the belt over his massive right shoulder.  Steve talked about the path of destruction the Rev had been on since he’d arrived in QCW – half of probably the most dominant tag team in QCW history, driving his now ex-partner out of the company, the chokeslamming of Ashok Banjerjee off the stage to close out Ruckus a couple of weeks ago.  Nick Cave’s classic played over the PA as a cold blue spotlight followed the Rev down to the ring, Naz saying that he hoped the people watching at home liked the version of the story where Goliath took David’s head off since that was what was about to go down.  Steve put over Autumn, and Naz actually did too to an extent before adding that until he saw the Rev lose he was just going to assume that he would win, and Steve didn’t really have a comeback for that one.

They focused a standard spotlight on the ring while Duckie made the introductions: Autumn got a huge pop from the crowd but merely stared down the Rev and raised a fist in the air when her name was called; you could almost see the word “pathetic” written in the champ’s sneer before he let out a throaty roar and held the fine silver up to the lights.

| • the Revenant [c] d. Autumn Powers to retain the GRPL+ World Television championship • | The bell rang and the Rev immediately drilled Autumn in the face with a big boot to send her ass over teakettle to boos.  The boos were so loud you could barely hear the Rev cackle, and Steve sadly noted that this was what you could come to expect from the Rev in this day and age.  Naz cackled again, saying that this cruelty was always who the Rev was, it was just taking Steve and the rabble until now to fully see it up close.

The next few minutes would see el-Fadal proven right and the Rev at his sadistic best.  Autumn would get in some offense and a couple of brief flurries but it would only take a couple of big overhead shots (and in some instances one good shot) before she was back on the canvas and the Rev went back to peering down at her like a psychopath waiting to take the wings off of a butterfly.  The Rev landed a few more shots to drive Autumn’s power meter out of orange and into the red, even setting her on the top rope so that he could fly off the middle one and plant her with a supersized powerslam that would have ended things – but the Rev pulled Autumn up at 2 ¾ to even more boos than before.  Smirking, the Rev called for the goozle and made Powers spend even more effort into dragging her limp body up…but Autumn finally couldn’t do it, collapsing in a heap on the mat.  The Rev told the ref, who checked Autumn, and after a couple beats decided to let the fight roll onward.  The Rev nudged Powers with his foot a couple of times then grabbed her by the head – and Autumn small packaged him for a 1 ½.

The Rev beat Autumn up by half a second but found himself eating a standing tornado DDT that drove him to his knees, and Autumn followed that up with a basement DDT that popped the crowd.  Steve noted Autumn had put together a few moves and gotten the crowd back on her side but Naz noted this was her one best chance to slay QCW’s Big Bad and she damn sure better take it.

Autumn swung every part of her body she legally could at the Rev, dropping forearms and elbows, laying in kicks.  The Rev shoved her away at one point but Autumn came off of the ropes and landed a buzzsaw kick before actually getting a two count on the champ.  The Rev tossed her off right at 2 but Autumn continued in her “ants swarming dropped food” offense, all while trying to keep the Rev grounded.  She landed in some shots to a knee to keep him hobbled and then got a running start off of both sets of ropes before druh-hilling the Rev with a Hazy Shade, and while he definitely looked groggy after meeting the Wizard - it left him on his knees.  Autumn let out a war cry and went for her leveled up Hazy Shade of Winter and deliver a sequel but on the second attempt the Rev caught the knee coming in, managed to limp up enough to provide the leverage he needed and then splattered Autumn with a powerbomb that took the air out of her lungs and the fans’ cheers.  Holding onto her waist, the Rev turned one powerbomb into two, and looked like he was trying to hit the trifecta before converting it into a goozle.

A Red Right Hand later, down went Autumn Powers.  ** ½

Steve seemed resigned to the endless reign of the Revenant but a salty champ wasn’t quite done there and snatched the belt from the referee before goozling the poor zebra and sending him down with a Red Right Hand of his own.  The Revenant looked around the ring, then opted to grab and chokeslammed the ref again to even louder boos.

If you think the Rev stopped there, I have some loverly NFTs for you to invest in.  The Rev snatched up his belt in one hand before tossing Autumn over his shoulder and stomping his way up the ramp.  Steve called for Quality Control in the purple shirts to come stop this excess but Naz laughed that off, saying that unless they had tranq darts, Autumn was going to join Ashok in the hospital.

After dropping a couple of security guards and ignoring the rest, the Revenant dragged Autumn Powers to the edge and goozled her.  Autumn went up in the air…and that’s about when the Revenant went down.

Huh?

Oh, right – he went down because The Unified Champ pulled Autumn loose and then headbutted the Rev right in the teeth.

The crowd went nuclear and Steve sold his ass off as Autumn fell to the stage and the Revenant slowly got his bearings back – and then headbutted Razorblade right back.

“[BLEEP] is onnnnnn!” yelled Naz.  And for once, everybody agreed with him.  A few of the hapless security guards even tried to break up this fight but the Rev and Razor (without colluding) both took turns laying out security guards and then started throwing hands on the stage while the crowd roared.  For the first time in a long time the Revenant was in a fair fight, and it looked like one that was actually going to end with Razorblade mustering the strength to Air Raid Crash the Rev off the stage – but the Rev slipped out and low blowed Razorblade.  The Rev receipted the headbutt he got earlier and looked like he was setting to deliver the Red Right Hand to The Unified Champ off the stage only to find himself kicked in the tombstones and sending both men gasping on the stage in a heap.  Naz got off a joke about him being only mostly dead while Steve wrapped up the show.  Naz was incredulous but Steve was in hyperdrive, saying that it was the end of Ruckus.  The Rev punched out a security guard only for Razorblade to run over and dive on him to spark another brawl while Steve tried to put a button on things amidst the chaos of the champion vs. champion brawl on the stage and the Queue Cee Dub! chants from the audience.

Before Ruckus faded to black, the XL remix of Elvis’ “A Little Less Conversation” kicked in.  We saw some highlights from QCW’s recent past, focusing on the big names and champions for some time before we started seeing brief snapshots of some famous faces interspersed with the QCW highlight reel: Liberace - Ali - Tyson - Copperfield - Siegfried - Roy - Celine - Usher - savvy yet?

Leading up to the QCW footage being traded off with plenty of shots of Las Vegas in all its neon splendor and gambling glory before we saw the notorious Welcome to Las Vegas sign at the outskirts of town – but the words Las Vegas glitched, glitched again and blipped out only to replace the name of the town with two words:
