Broadcast live on FanDuel Sports Network Florida
A decently sized recap package for Golden Rule opened the show set to Fight Like Apes’ “Pull Off Your Arms and Let's Play In Your Blood”. The biggest chunk went to the double main event where “Night Sky” Diana Spare and Mason “Razorblade” Savage walked out of Dublin as double champions much to the joy of the punters in attendance.
Standard open rolled and we zoomed into the sold out Arena with QCW’s big 3 (Steve/Carl/Duck) in their spots. Steve hyped that this was going to be a special episode of Ruckus, as we would find out who would be in this year's Duquesne Classic that starts next week via qualifying matches that start right now. He threw to Duck Eko, who made the introductions as the evening's action got underway…
1. Ashley “THEE Influencer” Szabo (w/“Tiki God” Al Buffett) d. Sohla Patel at 5:14 in a 2025 Duquesne Classic qualifying match Last year’s runner up looked pretty dominant on her way to punching her ticket into this year's Classic. Former champion Patel cheated to get an advantage and held it for a small stretch before Ashley overwhelmed her. A flurry of familiar looking hammer and anvil elbows set up Smash That Subscribe Button for the win. Announce noted she’ll face the winner of Justice Davis v. Drake Tremble in the quarterfinals next week and how focused she was on winning the Cup this year instead of coming in second.
The Chosen were in formation on a set of stairs somewhere backstage and they were all even more sour faced than usual. “The Purifier” Caleb Gray looked like he was about to scream at the camera but Goody Gardner managed to soothingly talk him off of the edge before delivering the bile filled promo herself. She gave a snarling passive aggressive prayer that Razorblade's titles reign would be a short one before focusing on the crown jewel of the Chosen - the Duquesne Cup, which would stay in their possession for another year when the Classic was over. Both “the Paragon” Drake Tremble and Gray would win their qualifying matches tonight and one of them would hold the Cup whether Drake won it all or Caleb became the first back-to-back Classic winner in decades. They all chanted “Faith! Over! Fear!” for a bit before walking down the steps and then off camera, still in formation.
2. Ashok Banjerjee d. Prince Ootsuka (w/the All Starr Stable) at 7:27 in a 2025 Duquesne Classic qualifying match The returning Ashok punched his ticket into the Classic with a narrow win and got some inadvertent help from an unlikely source: Jacques Krieger, who appeared out of nowhere to jump S. Mark Starr from behind and pounded on his former manager until A Cut Above went after their old bodyguard and chased him to the back. That distraction allowed Ashok to drill Ootsuka with a poison rana and the Decolonizer Driver to secure the W – Ashok will face either Pyotr Caviar or Krieger himself in the quarterfinals next week.
The lights went off in Quality Arena and when they came back on Hysteria was in the ring. Bonnie Agrippa said that after winning the Dealer’s Choice at Golden Rule, she was leaving the qualifying matches for chumps and heading straight into the Duquesne. She then passed the mic to Luz Cruz, who barely got out a sentence about losing the Women's World championship at the PPV before the rest of Hysteria swarmed Cruz in a shocker. Luz ate Twelve Feet Under and a spike brainbuster before Bonnie got the mic back and said that since Luz couldn't achieve the coven’s dreams, if she didn't run away from QCW again Bonnie and the rest of her Hysteria would turn her life into a waking nightmare. The lights went off and on again; when they came back on Luz was still crumpled in the ring like a K-4 offsuit.
3. “The Purifier” Caleb Gray (w/the Chosen) d. Jupiter Jones at 11:30 in a 2025 Duquesne Classic qualifying match Rough week for the legendary Jones, as he lost to Pyotr Caviar on the Golden Rule preshow and ate the fall at the hands of the defending Duquesne Cup holder. Jones was in control of the match early but went for his trusty Bolt From Olympus too soon and took a rough landing on the apron when Caleb dumped him over the top rope with his dodge. Jones managed to avoid a countout loss but it put him on a back foot he wasn't able to shed the rest of the way. Gray focused on working over the back and neck of Jones, avoided a clumsy attempt at a second Bolt and put Collipark’s father figure down with Repent. Tonight's main event is Nazir el-Fadal vs. Serge Batroc and Gray will face the winner next week in the quarterfinals.
Caleb cut a brief post match promo as Collipark helped Jupiter to the back, saying not only that anyone who tried to stop him from winning the Cup would fall to their knees and repent but that once he went down in history for winning the Classic in back to back years he’d burn Razorblade's reign down to be the double champion that Quality Christian Wrestling deserved. The Chosen hovered around the Cup that was at ringside before Caleb gave it a couple of loving pats.
A backstage segment showed Interim Commissioner Ig bumping the debut of incoming foursome Sky's the Limit to next week's show, something that pissed off Tre Boyd (the leader of the pack based on him getting the most time to talk).
4. Pyotr Caviar (w/Serge Batroc) d. Jacques Krieger at 8:20 in a 2025 Duquesne Classic qualifying match This wasn't exactly a hoss fight, but it wasn't too far off, either. It took a couple of minutes before the first big move of the match saw Caviar absolutely blast Krieger with a pop up European uppercut and take over from there. Krieger managed a couple of kickouts and landed a rare spinning DDT to counter Caviar’s Hit My Music then dropped Pyotr with a heart punch to the roar of the crowd. Krieger started to build momentum in his own right and wobbled Caviar with a noisy shotei but Pyotr ducked another and flattened Jacques with a running crossbody. After hitting that, Caviar dropped Krieger with a German suplex that landed One Eye on his chest, then followed up with a discus Russian sickle and Hit My Music for the win. Pyotr will face Ashok Banjerjee next week in the quarterfinals; appropriately enough after the All Starr Stable hit the ring to add injury to injury on their former ally it was Ashok who hit the ring with a chair to run off the Stable. Serge ended up holding Pyotr back and leading him backstage as Ashok had some smacktalk for the retreating Tracksuit Tsar.
The injury report coming out of Golden Rule focused on the hard hitting ambulance match. Nazir el-Fadal needed 21 stitches in his face and suffered facial lacerations on the way to a win over Omar Littlefield - who hasn't been heard from or seen since the ambulance drove off into the Dublin night.
5. Malicía Fernandez and Orion fought to a double countout at 8:06 in a 2025 Duquesne Classic qualifying match Bonnie earned the Dealer’s Choice in part because Malicía cut off Orion from what looked like a winning climb with a massive powerbomb; both Fernandez and Orion picked up from where their hostilities in Dublin left off. Orion played David to Malicía’s Goliath early and her stick and move offense was working until Fernandez caught them flying off the top rope and planted Orion with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Malicía's strength took over the match and snuffed out an attempted Orion rally by military pressing the cosmic superstar from the ring into the announce table, which drew “Holy shit!” chants from the crowd. Fernandez cleared off the table and set Orion up for a powerbomb through the announce table but Orion countered with a hurancanrana that sent Malicía flying into the ringpost. Orion tried to get back into the ring but Malicía picked their leg and threw them into the retaining barrier. Fernandez couldn't get back up after that and the referee finished counting both of them out; now, not only does Bonnie get into the Duquesne but Malicía and Orion taking each other out allows Agrippa a bye right into the semifinals.
Duck Eko introduced QCW National and World Champion Razorblade to a massive ovation from the faithful in the Arena. Mason Savage hit the ring and held up his belt, sending white pyro flying from the ringposts and a baptism of gold pyro rained down on the stage. Once the “You deserve it!” chants died down, Savage thanked the crowd for supporting him all these years and pointed out that now that he’d beaten Caleb there was another target on his back - but he wouldn't have it any other way. He’d fought for years to earn being QCW’s #1 and he was going to keep fighting to defend and hold onto both titles as long as he possibly could. So that meant his focus was on the Duquesne Classic even though he wasn't in it, because no matter who won they'd be coming after him and his titles. But when they did, they’d end up like Caleb, like Naz, like Omar, and he’d still walk out cham…
The noise from the crowd got Razorblade's attention and he prepared himself for an attack, but that's not what he got. Justice Davis came out for his qualifying match without theme music and completely ignored Razorblade even after The Double Champ asked him repeatedly what was going on with him. Eventually Savage left frustrated, and “entirely coincidentally” the Chosen waited a few beats before coming out in support of their Paragon’s attempt to go after the Cup and sort of serve as Caleb insurance as well.
6. Justice Davis d. “The Paragon” Drake Tremble (w/the Chosen) at 6:25 in a 2025 Duquesne Classic qualifying match Davis has been a thorn in Tremble’s side since arriving and added this one sided showcase to that resume on his way to advancing into the Duquesne proper. The End Times provided a distraction for Tremble to get in a couple of cheap shots but ultimately JD shook it off and sent a message by planting Tremble with four JDDDTs before pinning him without even hooking a leg on the cover. Justice rolled out of the ring and headed silently to the back before the ref could raise his hand; say this for the Chosen, they knew enough to let him pass.
💫 Next week's Ruckus 💫 will feature the actual debut of Sky’s the Limit, “Night Sky” Diana Spare will return to Quality Arena for the first time since becoming double champion at Golden Rule, and let's review the quarterfinals of the 2025 Duquesne Classic: the double countout between Malicía Fernandez and Orion earlier means Bonnie Agrippa actually gets a bye into the semifinals, where she'll face the winner of Justice Davis vs. Ashley “THEE Influencer” Szabo | On the other side of the bracket, Ashok Banjerjee and Pyotr Caviar will face off, with the winner of that bout to face off against either “the Purifier” Caleb Gray or the winner of Serge/Naz in the main event.
7. Nazir el-Fadal d. Serge Batroc (w/Pyotr Caviar) at 7:12 in a 2025 Duquesne Classic qualifying match The man who won the Cup in 2022 won't be taking it home in 2025, as Naz killed off the French Assassin's chances of victory this year. It was already bizarre seeing Quality Arena explode into cheers at the arrival of the One Man Jihad, cheers that only intensified when el-Fadal responded to Serge’s opening shove by stomping on his boot and backhanding him. Naz continued on his roll early, staying a step ahead of Batroc and eventually cleared him from the ring after a pair of Saito suplexes and a cracking leg lariat. When Naz rolled out of the ring, Caviar was standing in his way and blocking the path towards his mentor. el-Fadal had plenty of smacktalk for the Tracksuit Tsar, but Caviar took it all stoically. Once he realized he wasn't going to get a reaction he went back after Serge but the proud Frenchman saw him coming and launched him with a massive pop up European uppercut. Even worse for Naz, his free fall meant the back of his head and upper back that were already covered by kinesio tape smacked the announce table on his way down. Batroc rolled into the ring to recover for a few beats but then rolled back out to grab a slumped over Naz and fling the One Man Jihad into the steel steps back first. Once he got Naz back into the ring, Serge took over with suplexes and a couple of minutes later hit a long distance guillotine legdrop for 2 ¾. But Naz managed to avoid the Arc de Triomphe once by cocooning himself in the ropes and a second time with a springboard into his Night Night hiptoss Michinoku Driver. When both men got to their feet Naz spiked Serge with another one, then lit Serge up with a barrage of European uppercuts in a corner then rode that momentum into the quarterfinals. The self proclaimed Greatest Man Alive put a button on the match by spiking Serge with an Iconoclasm to set up Nazquil, staring down Pyotr while he made the winning pinfall. Next week in the quarterfinals it’ll be the One Man Jihad vs. the Purifier i
The show ended with Naz eye fucking the Duquesne Cup and the Quality Controllers cheering it on just in case you're wondering whether or not hell’s frozen over this year.
