• After the standard “Invincible” open we zoomed inside Quality Arena.  If it's Friday night in Parts Unknown you know Steve Vandeblanche and Carl Christensen are on the call in front of a raucous crowd.  They hyped up tonight's two title matches: Orion putting their National championship on the line in an open challenge and the World Tag Team titles match between Science Fiction Double Feature looking to regain the belts from the Republic’s Malicía Fernandez and Pyotr Caviar.  But Ruckus kicked off with some different tag division action…

• 1. Serge Batroc & “the Proper Villain” Richard Windsor d. The Game Changers at 6:36 Despite their loose affiliation for months, this was the Europeans’ first outing and subsequent win as a tag team over the former champions in the Changers.  Al.and Ashley looked good early on, with the Tiki God using THEE Influencer for some assisted dropkicks that cleared Serge and Richard from the ring.  They got in a discussion on the floor and came up with a plan: to no one's surprise it involved cheating, as Richard provided a distraction to allow Serge a cheap shot on Ashley from behind that set up a Windsor double underwear suplex and then a two man assisted pop up European uppercut combination that turned the tide   Serge and Richard showed crisp teamwork, halving the ring and repeatedly knocking Al off the apron so that Ashley couldn't tag out and had to take more punishment.  Al was able to make a save on a nearfall, but all he got for his troubles was Richard tossing him head first into the steps to fully take him out of the equation.  The bad guys picked up the duke on poor Ashley after a middle rope European uppercut sent her into the waiting arms of a Windsor half & half suplex and across the ring.  

• After replays, the Batroc/Windsor team cut a victory promo clowning the Game Changers as past their sell by date and yesterday's news.  The tag division needed new blood and genuine wrestlers who mastered superior technical wrestling, not has-beens like the Changers or floppy little boys like the Undaunted.  Richard told the crowd to save their cheers, because he and Serge were going to drive them out of the company for QCW’s own good.  They might have some high flying frippery and get some of the middle school girls in the crowd excited, but if they barked up this tree a mighty oak would fall on their heads because some didn't remain undaunted - some wrestlers were just better than others.  Serge grabbed the mic and sneered out a “De rien!” before throwing it to the canvas.  He and Richard headed to the back after that, and Carl pointed out that given what he knows about the Undaunted, they weren't going to take those swipes lying down.  He & Steve briefly discussed what would happen if that match were to be made official.

• 2. Omar Littlefield (w/Ig de Catur, the Republic and Republic Enforcement) d. Jonathan Livingston Clipper Esq. at 2:50 Complete squash for the perpetually pissed off two time former World champion as he just overwhelmed the avuncular seafaring Clipper.  Omar nearly sent JLCE flying out of the ring with a vicious Pounce, then waited in the corner for Jon to get up so he could Pounce him again.  Omar pulled this week's victim off the canvas and splattered him with the Face Eraser to pick up a quick win.  After the match, Omar broke formation with the rest of the Republic to grab a nearby camera and bellow a demand that Commissioner Holmes give him another chance at the World title or he was going to send somebody to the hospital.  Littlefield then shoved the referee down so he could fire off another Face Eraser, which brought rate chuckles from his World Tag Team champion stablemates Pyotr Caviar and Malicía Fernandez.  Ig started bragging about how they were going to walk out of Quality Arena still YOUR tag champs after the main event tonight before we took the night’s first commercial break.  

• We got another creepy vignette from “Sinister” Sarah Fowler and Midsomar, with Fowler saying that her sickness couldn't be confined to Wednesdays, and couldn't be submerged by the likes of Keo Tevi.  It was nearly time to shed skin, to rebirth the old ways and marry them to a bleak new future to the horrified scream of all who witnessed – and that would happen next Friday night   Seven days before the rebirth cleansed QCW once and for all just as it deserves to be.  After some static we returned to the ring…

• 3. Goody Gardner (w/the Chosen) d. Shelley LaVey (w/Forbidden Book Club) at 7:31 Surprise!  Goody got the biggest win of her burgeoning career and she didn't even need any help from the Chosen to do it - however, she would end up getting help from Hysteria to do it.  It was evident once the bell rang that Goody had worked on her craft, but it was also evident that she was clearly a ring or two beneath the Goddess of Love.  Shelley got out in front and then began dominating, taking Gardner down repeatedly before planting her with the Heartbreaker draping cutter before going up top to end things with the Fallen Angel splash.  

• But right after she got into position to deliver it, the lights went out and when they came back on Hysteria was swarming Luz Cruz and ”Night Sky” Diana Spare in a 3 on 2 attack.  Shelley was clearly rattled by the beatdown but after some hesitation turned to the ring and flew off to splash Goody only to crash and burn as the Heart of the Homestead rolled out of harm’s way at the last second.  Caleb Gray told Goody to take what was hers and she did, wasting no time in grabbing Shelley and planting her with a snap swinging fisherman's neckbreaker to pull the upset victory.   Having accomplished what they set out to do, Hysteria walked away from the scene cackling while Caleb congratulated Goody then repeatedly said “This is our night.”

• From there we went TOTHEBACK~!, where Julius Duquesne III was standing by for an interview segment, and he brought out two of QCW’s biggest stars to Q&A with: Savage Justice.  The crowd popped huge as Justine Danek and Grand Slam Club member Mason “Razorblade” Savage came out to flank JD3.  Julius congratulated them on their win in the trios main event and asked them what was next after that win and weeks of Republic attacks.  Justice said it was real simple - he’d pinned half of the World Tag Team champions, so he & Razorblade were not only throwing their hats in the ring to get a shot at the belts, they wanted their old titles back.  Razorblade added that the best way to take down the Republic was to take their last remaining belts and as the good people of Parts Unknown could attest, nobody took the fight to Ig and his hired goons like Savage Justice.  If they got the shot, the belts were as good as theirs, and if the Republic didn't like that they could bleed about it…because there was nothing they wouldn't do to recapture the World Tag Team championships.  That full throated challenge from two of QCW’s favorites hung in the air as Ruckus faded to black and into a commercial break.

• The back end of the show opened up with Mastodon bringing out Orion to a massive pop ahead of their National championship title defense in an open challenge.  In response, before Orion could get out a sentence Nonpoint’s “Bullet With A Name” brought out the All Starr Stable to boos.  S. Mark Starr talked over them, saying that he and his men knew all about holding championship gold so if Orion wanted to hand over the title while he got his 12.5% that was fine by him.  Orion noted they held the Natty and not a friendship bracelet, so they weren't going to give all three of them a shot at the belt, but…but…why not have a little fun and say the first one to make it to the ring would get the shot?  The Stable looked at each other for a few beats until Evan O'Neill headed down the ramp, but Prince Ootsuka caught up to him and stopped him, saying he wanted the opportunity.  Ootsuka began to move forward only to be stopped by O’Neill and his side of the argument.  As they bickered in the middle of the aisle, the third member of the Stable did some elbows up speed walking past them and by the time Evan & the Prince stopped bickering the man they called “Brod the Bod” was in the ring and ready for his title shot…

• 4. Orion [c] d. “Upper Class” Broderick Palmer II (w/the All Starr Stable) in an open challenge to retain the QCW National championship at 8:01 8️⃣ Palmer II has a nice pedigree and all, he didn't embarrass himself or anything.  Bad news for him is he’s him and Orion's Orion, so this one was never in doubt.  In fact, for some viewers the most notable thing about the showcase match was Tre Boyd clearly pissed off while watching the match play out on a monitor backstage.  Either way a beautiful Shining Wizard set up Orion’s Nebula and left the Cosmic Champion only two more wins away from completing the 10 Count needed to activate cash in potential for a shot at the World championship.

• Replays of Orion’s highlights got interrupted by a purple tinted promo from Hysteria, who cackled over what they did to the Forbidden Book Club earlier.  Nancy Crowley mockingly asked the FBC if they thought Hysteria were scared of the challenge the FBC threw at them for an elimination match at Golden Rule.  They weren't running, they were Hysteria, not three losers high on their own supply.  But if they were throwing out challenges, Hysteria had one for them.  Bonnie Agrippa suddenly glitched to the forefront, saying that they were fine with fighting an elimination match if the Retread Club were fine with it being an extreme rules match.  No silly things like countouts or disqualifications, just Hysteria using any weapon they could get their hands on to shut them up once and for all.  They could scramble what was left of their brains with chairs, they could toss them through tables, they could beat them with kendo sticks like piñatas.  And when the dust settled it would be Hysteria who turned out the lights on the Book Club once and for all just like this! As she said that, she snapped her fingers and the screen briefly went to black after Hysteria's logo flashed.

• When it blipped out, we saw Naomi Lee in one of the arena’s skyboxes where she was set to interview Ashok Banerjee.  The crowd cheered upon seeing the Boundless One, but he barely managed a wave in response.  Naomi picked up on it and asked him if his mind was elsewhere even after getting that reception from the crowd.  Ashok allowed that being essentially helpless at ringside for last week's main event while two faced hypocrites like Caleb Gray didn't sit well with him.  But what really didn't sit well with him was the fact that despite a mostly triumphant return from getting blinded by Hysteria, he couldn't see a clear path to Golden Rule at the moment.  So he was keeping an eye on everything tonight from up high hoping he would see something that would shed some light on what he should do next to make sure he could bring Boundlessness to Seattle.  When Naomi pointed out he’d picked a tall task given the depth on the roster and how cherished a spot on any PPV was, Ashok merely replied that if he had to make a way to make his way, he’d do it.  Ashok kept up his intense look after that edict until Nao teed up the final commercial break for the night.

• 5. the Undaunted d. Glory Days at 6:30 Another win in a showcase for the recently arrived Undaunted, who used their speed to pick apart the former footballers in our semi main event.  Tim “the Only Hope” McMurray and “Unforgettable” Dave Mullin had phone cameras out and Quality Arena going out of its collective mind when they hit stereo Shooting Star planchas to the floor that wiped out Blockhead Ferguson and Cliff Foster; a couple of minutes after that they picked up the dub with their Shamrock Air Doomsday Meteora finisher.  

• Ahead of the main event, Steve Vandeblanche hyped up what will be the main event on 💫 next week's Ruckus 💫, where there would be an eight squads deep Tag Team Turmoil match, with the winners of that getting the shot at the World Tag Team titles come Golden Rule next month.  Who they’ll face gets determined in tonight's main event, which goes down now.

• Science Fiction Double Feature exercised their rematch clause here; remember that they were the champions heading into the fatal four way at Cold As Hell but lost their belts without ever getting pinned.  Their mentor, the Legendary Jupiter Jones stood with them as they tried to bring back the World Tag Team championships to the Family the same way he’d regained the World title back at Holiday In Cambodia.  “The Old Guard Is Dead” brought out the Republic to massive heat that Pyotr Caviar and Malicía Fernandez ignored, and why would they care about boos?  Ig de Catur's checks were far and on time, they had backup from not only the ever dangerous Omar Littlefield but half a dozen Republic Enforcement officers - the plan was to flip the David/Goliath script and walk out still champions.  The lights cut out except for a lone spotlight on Duck Eko as he made introductions for both teams, and then we were underway ..

• 6. The Republic [c, w/Omar Littlefield, Ig de Catur and Republic Enforcement] d. Science Fiction Double Feature (w/Jupiter Jones) to retain the QCW World Tag Team championships at 7:17 The tag team belts stay in Ig’s house, thanks to the power advantage Malicía and Pyotr had as well as some wildly unexpected help from the Chosen.  Cindy & Jane acquitted themselves well early, but Fernandez caught a Cindy dive off the top rope and converted it into a MF5 to tip the scales in the Republic's favor.  The mercenaries of the Republic spent the next couple of minutes ragdolling Cindy around the ring while Ig cackled at their power moves and Jupiter looked anxious (either because of the beating or the mysterious absence of the International Players).  The tenor of the match changed when Pyotr went for one of his pop up European uppercuts but Cindy reversed it into a massive DDT that had both of them down on the canvas.

• Eventually after kicking each other away, tags were made and Jane Doe immediately set to work getting Malicía Fernandez off balance.  Doe’s unorthodox offense began to chip away at the former National champion and eventually took Malicía down with a springboard Meteora.  Doe continued trying to tilt the scales in SFDF’s favor and used the Lady of the Lake to lure La Monstrua into a set up that lured her into an anklelock.  Then the match’s tenor changed again - but not because of anything that was happening in the ring.

• The International Players, clearly bloodied and battered, were tossed down the ramp by the End Times before they pummelled the Players further with their THE END IS NIGH signs.  In the ring Jane managed to keep the hold on but on the outside Jupiter went running up the ramp to save his proteges - only to get violently yanked into the retaining barrier by “the Purifier” Caleb Gray, who had been hiding in the crowd against the barrier and halfway down the ramp before making his move.  Gray grabbed one of the signs and clocked Jupiter with it, drawing the referee's attention from the ring and allowing Pyotr to sneak in the ring and take out Jane with a big boot to the face.  Cindy came in for a save but Pyotr tossed her over the top rope like she weighed nothing and Republic Enforcement was quick to form a human wall between her and the ring.  Gray laid into Jones with boots while Caviar helped Malicía land their finishing double chokeslam on a disoriented Jane.  Malicía got the referee's attention as Pyotr rolled to the floor and began putting the boots to Monet - and three seconds later the Republic had retained the World Tag Team championships much to the disgust of the good people of Parts Unknown.

• And they weren't done being pissed off, as Omar Littlefield snatched up Cindy and drove her through the announce table with a vicious Face Eraser.  Jupiter began crawling down the aisle for a desperate save attempt, but Danny Castle tossed Caleb the QCW World championship and Gray buried the Fifteen Pounds of Gold in the back of Jones' head to put him to sleep.  Caleb nodded solemnly as he lifted the belt overhead while standing over Jupiter's unconscious body, then turned to the End Times and said “We’re done here.” The Chosen headed to the back as Steve freaked out on commentary watching Caleb steal the World title for his own warped glory.  The credits box came up while we saw Collipark absolutely decimated by the Chosen and the Republic, and the last thing we saw was the Purifier holding up the World title to the camera with one last thing to say:

“Quality.  CHRISTIAN.  Wrestling.”

• Instead of the usual open, we saw a vignette with the Glam Squad and John Arneson that played out more like TGIF opening credits than a usual vignette. Coming on the heels of having each other's backs for the last few weeks, Cole Grant and Freddie Valsada asked John to join up.   When John asked if there were meetings they said only if he wanted there to be and that seemed to sway him into joining the group.  Arneson pointed out that he was the least glam out of the three of them, and Valsada not subtly suggested he had an idea.  We got some makeover montage action before Arneson decided to go with a look that gave him black paint around his eyes coming down his cheeks a bit.  They got their hands all in and said Glam Squad on three before Arneson asked if they wanted to go get in some mini golf.  Cole and Freddie agreed with enthusiasm and the new three man Glam Squad went off for some putt putt..

• “Invincible” and the standard opening rolled after that; once we zoomed inside Quality Arena and popped some pyro, Steve Vandeblanche and Carl Christensen welcomed us to the show.  Tonight, the main event will see Tre Boyd go against Beast Mode’s Roy Fade in a continuation of that months long feud, and “Night Sky” Diana Spare defending the Women's World championship in the main event tonight, and she’ll put the Fifteen Pounds of Gold on the line in an open challenge.  But the action this Friday night began with Diana’s long term rivals.

• Lights on. 

• Lights off.

• You guessed it: Hysteria had arrived.

• 1. Bonnie Agrippa and Nancy Crowley of Hysteria (w/Justine Danek and Bella Jolie) d. The Game Changers at 6:45 A few minutes later, they vanished the same way they came but with a victory in their back pockets.  The matchup between former World Tag Team champions had plenty going for it - the Changers had just won a Ruckus main event a couple of weeks ago days after QCW’s resident coven lost their straps.  But it seemed that no matter what Al & Ashley threw at them in the fast paced opening tag, Hysteria was a step ahead throughout - if it wasn't cutting the ring in half to maximize their side of the ring, it was quick tags - if it wasn't quick tags, it was a distraction from Justine or Bella on the outside - and if it wasn't that it was Agrippa's sheer rage over having lost at Dia de los Muertos and then the chaos filled National championship match against Orion in last week's main event coming through as she ratcheted up the aggression in her arsenal.  Bonnie would pin Al after she and Nancy combined for their signature spike brainbuster, Crowley using a whirling dervish attack to drop Szabo and keep “THEE Influencer” from coming in for the save.  Afterwards most of Hysteria stood over the Changers scowling while Justine walked over to a camera, held it like a fine glass of brandy, and said “We’ll see you at the battle royale.”. Lights off…lights on…but of course Hysteria wasn't there when they came back up.

• We went from the ring to a segment with the Chosen, who were all glaring at each other before Caleb Gray raised his hand.  He said he’d hoped things wouldn't have come to this but last week had proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that the expansion was a shambles. That meant there would be a reckoning…and that would come next week.  Next week he would win the battle royale to prove his mettle as the Chosen's leader and leap into history when he captured the World title - but after weeks and weeks of infighting, Davis and Tremble wouldn't be in the battle royale.  Both began to protest before Gray raised his hand again and said since they wanted so desperately to fight that’d happen next week…and the loser would be excommunicated from the Chosen as a result.  

• Gray snidely reminded Drake that he knew all too well what it was like to be forced out into the wilderness before wheeling on Justice and reminding him that since he has possession of his contract, a loss would force him out of QCW as well.  Goody Gardner looked on nervously in the background as Caleb focused on how tight knit the flock would be once it had clipped the weakest wings loose and stressed how the best platform from which to preach and reach was made from championship gold.  Come next week a glorious new day would dawn for the Chosen atop Quality Christian Wrestling, a place for World champion Caleb Gray and those like-minded to personify faith over fear.  Tremble gave JD a dismissive once over before going “Next week, then” and walking away; this year's Duquesne Cup winner stared daggers into his back before going “Next week, then” and heading off in the opposite direction.  Gray looked relieved while Gardner looked thoughtful and the End Times held their usual stoic silences as we headed to commercials.

• We came back from break with entrances for the participants in the first singles match on tonight's show…

• 2. Tre Boyd d. “These Hands” Roy Fade (w/“Dashing” Pierce Moore and Lolo Vuitton) at 9:18 Boyd, one of the many people on the roster saying they're going to win the Black Friday battle royale and dethrone Omar next week, earned a hard fought win over former Golden Glove winner Fade here.  Tre might be the fastest man on the roster and got to show that off in the early moments of the match; on commentary Carl brought out the old chestnut that you couldn't hit what you couldn't catch.  Fade couldn't bottle up Boyd and Tre landed some hit and run offense while clowning Roy as old, slow, yesterday's news.  Boyd avoided a corner charge and landed a pendulum kick, then sent the man from South Central bailing out of the ring after eating a stiff legged missile dropkick.  Fade recovered on the floor as Lolo Vuitton jumped up on the apron to distract the referee or maybe get after Tre.  But it definitely allowed “Dashing” Pierce Moore to slide in the ring and drop Boyd with a Fresh To Death cutter.  Once that piece of business was done, Lolo roused Roy and encouraged him to get back in the ring and finish Tre off.  

• Fade used the retaining barrier to pull himself up before darting into the ring and laying into Tre with rabbit punches, coming pretty close to being DQed by the ref.  Fade used his educated hands to do damage to Tre, buckling him with some hard body shots that popped throughout Quality Arena and giving him some hard crossfaces across the jaw and nose.  Fade continued to wear Boyd out over the next couple of minutes and went to end things with his vaunted Decision, but Tre dodged it at the last second and turned defense into offense with a Blue Thunder bomb that left both men down for most of a 10 count. Both men staggered up and backed into each other - Fade spun Boyd around only to get surprised by a flash Fresh To Death from Boyd, who made sure to let Pierce know about it as he fumed from the floor.  That was the turning point, as the Gospel cruised from there and even tossed Moore over the top rope when he tried to save his partner.  Lolo had to check on Pierce, leaving the door open for Boyd to come off the top with a beautiful Say Hallelujah to get the win with his Spiral Tap.  A cocky Boyd flexed and strutted his way to the back, saying to the camera that you weren't just looking at the man who was going to win the battle royale - you were looking at the next QCW World champion and y’all needed to quit playing about it.

• Between matches there was a This Week In QCW History segment focused on November 11th two years ago when Karyn Tisch-Warren retained the Women's World championship in an instant classic, beating Cindy Monet in a best of 3 falls match 2-1.  It received consideration for 2023’s Match of the Year.  Appropriately enough, we went to women's division action right after this recap.  

• 3. Malicía Fernandez (w/the Republic) d. “Explosive” Emily Bennett at 5:59 Remember, the former National champion is half of the Republic’s “Omar insurance* in the battle royale next week.  She tuned up here and got a pretty decisive win over the plucky Bennett, who went after Malicía aggressively right after the bell.  But when Fernandez caught her moonsault attempt and turned it into a Snake Eyes that was the beginning of the end for the Minnesotan.  A dominant Malicía ended things with a somersault axe kick and the Death Warrant.  The Republic celebrated the victory by filling the ring and standing tall as we headed to commercials with the announce wondering if we would end up looking at an all Republic main event next week.

• 4. the Cooper Brothers (w/Kam Ellis) d. Hellraisers at 5:04 Earlier in the night, Tre Boyd notched a big victory; here his (former?) friends picked up a victory of their own.  In fact, the Coopers dominated the bulk of the match against the former Catch Hell Wrestling League tag champs.  Speed kills and the Coopers employed quick tags to isolate Ian Cook, completely inverting the usual game plan against Hellraisers and taking them completely out of their comfort zone.  The big Cook tired in short order trying (and failing) to catch either of the Air Force alums, and when Gerry Greene tried to save his partner the Coopers backdropped him into an unwitting senton bomb on his own partner before clearing him out from the ring.  Cook went down for the count not too long after that, the Coopers taking the win after the Aim High 450° splash and guillotine legdrop combination.  The Coopers celebrated on the turnbuckles post match while Kam clapped it up for his friends.  

• As Sky’s the Limit headed to the back, they passed Commissionership Holmes and Julius Duquesne III in front of the Qualitron 9004, to the side at the top of the ramp.  Julius asked for and got some cheers for the always popular Commish, then revealed they were here to spin this tumbler and determine who the first two entrants in the Black Friday battle royale would be.  Holmes spun the tumbler a few times, then picked a ball out and handed it over to JD3 to crack.  Duquesne announced that the person who drew #1 would be representing the College Park Family…Benjamin Valentino!  A picture of the International Lover took up half the Tron, then they repeated the process to reveal who would start off with Valentino from the #2 spot…”the Proper Villain” Richard Windsor! 

• The crowd booed the turncoat Windsor and the boos only intensified after “Manifest Destiny” hit the PA and brought out Windsor in the flesh.  Windsor read the riot act to Holmes, saying he’d won at Dia de los Muertos and dropped the dead weight of his ex partner; such accomplishments merited a better spot than #2 and fighting off the field while having to keep an eye out for the so-called Fury to blindside him. He accused Scott of being biased against him and Holmes responded with a bit of bite in his voice, saying that Windsor had cheated his way to that win and any unbiased observer could see that.  But if he wanted to see what it was like when he was biased, hell, he could call for a referee to come out here (after a few beats, one jogged out) and Richard could prepare for the battle royale with a rematch against “the Fury” Jim Jaspers…right now!  

• “I Predict A Riot” hit the PA and Jaspers came sprinting out from the back, greeting his turncoat ex partner with a flying tackle that probably looked familiar to Calvin and Hobbes lovers and sent both men flying down the ramp.  A fired up Jaspers was first to his feet and tossed Windsor into the retaining barrier, then tossed him across the aisle into the barrier on that side.  Windsor staggered away on his knees, begging off to Jim.  As Jaspers began closing in, Windsor shot forward with a drop toe hold that sent Jaspers bouncing face first off of the steel steps.  Windsor got his bearings about him before tossing Jim into the ring and following close behind; once both Brits were between the ropes, the ref called for the bell to officially start things…

• 5. “the Fury” Jim Jaspers and “the Proper Villain” Richard Windsor fought to a double disqualification at 8:06 This was a crazy brawl the whole way as the Proper Villains exploded and left all the World of Sport stuff on the other side of the pond.  The shot into the stairs opened up a cut over Jaspers’ right eyebrow and Windsor went after it with surgical precision, at multiple points digging into it and making it worse.  Richard made Old Jim an increasingly bloody mess and even had him in a hanging rear naked choke from the second rope and milked the five count.  Windsor let go at 4.8 before circling Jaspers and dumping him with a half and half suplex, but Jaspers kicked out at the death to pop the faithful.  Windsor got in the referee's face about it for a bit, completely missing Jim pulling himself off the mat.  Jaspers staggered over and spun Windsor around before planting him with a headbutt you could hear in the ninth row, then staggered back into the ropes gathering deep breaths before suddenly lashing out with a pump knee that dropped his ex partner like a bad habit.  

• Suddenly in the driver's seat, Jaspers grabbed Windsor’s arms before letting out a mad cackle and stomping away repeatedly; his blood came down on the battle royale’s #2 entrant but that was almost a side appetizer to the main course of shoe leather Jaspers served up.  The referee almost had to pull Jim off after a five count, and Richard rolled to the floor while a bloody Jaspers backed the official into a corner.  Jim looked at Richard and slid out of the ring, leaving a red streak on the apron as he turned the corner behind Windsor.  Richard got picked up and his jaw almost broken off the force of a flapjack into the apron, and Jaspers added injury to injury with a release German suplex that sent Richard bouncing off the announce table to the ground as the crowd cheered.  Jaspers stepped on the back of Windsor's head until the ref’s count made it to 8, then threw him in the ring and followed his way in.  Windsor tried to stagger up, but Jim was running as fast as the blood loss would allow, hitting the ropes three times before crowning the former “Proper King” with a trip down to Fury Road.  Jaspers flipped Windsor over after the kneedrop driver and hooked a leg - but this time it was Windsor who kicked out at 2.99 this time.  

• Jaspers eyes narrowed as he stared down the ref, who insisted it was a near fall and not the end of the match.  Old Jim again stalked the referee into a corner, completely oblivious to Windsor pulling himself off the deck behind him.  Richard got up and next to Jim, and the former friends exchanged a quick look - then they both punched out the ref!  Jaspers and Windsor continued brawling, Jim winning for a little bit before Windsor tackled Jim and they both went between the ropes out to the floor.  Quality Force Security came streaming out from the back as the Brits continued to throw haymakers at each other, completely missing the referee in the ring calling for the bell.  Duck Eko announced that the match had been thrown out due to both of them striking the official and was therefore a double disqualification.  Jim and Richard had to have heard the announcement before the crowd's boos but kept fighting until multiple members of QFS pulled them off each other.  Like most things in life, the pull apart worked until it didn't, Windsor looking like he was willing to be led to the back until he exploded away from his share of the detail and landed some more punches on Jim’s wound, leading the rest of QFS to come out and pull Windsor off.  But that led to a suddenly freed Jaspers cracking Richard with another headbutt, leading to him getting swarmed and taken down by a half dozen guards.  Windsor tried to pull himself off the floor again, a .4 Muta covered Jaspers was getting bleeped out every third word about making Richard pay, and the Quality Controllers were chanting “Let them fight!” as Ruckus went into the last commercial break on the evening.

• We came back from break to a sizzle reel highlighting Omar Littlefield’s almost year long path of destruction back to the World title, injuring multiple wrestlers on the way to taking lead in Ig de Catur's Republic and the Fifteen Pounds of Gold.  As a barrage of Face Erasers and Omar raising the belt rolled, Littlefield added a voiceover.  He said the whole roster was coming at him next week, but the so-called winner of that battle royale was really just going to win a trip to the ICU.  He would destroy whoever and whatever he wanted because nobody on the roster could stop him.  Come Black and Blue Friday, some fool would regret their temporary win when he left them in permanent pain.  Ask Naz about Omar Littlefield.  Go to the ICU and ask Razorblade who QCW’s real hardcore hero was.  Omar was in the business of dining on legends…so whoever won the battle royale would be just a light snack for him.

• Another championship main event on the way but first Steve and Carl hyped up next week's Black and Blue Friday supershow - with an additional half hour run time and limited commercial interruptions from Memphis’ FedEx Forum.  💫  After months of discord, Justice Davis and Drake Tremble will face off - and the loser will leave the Chosen, with Caleb Gray letting JD know he’ll have to leave QCW as well should he lose 💫 the show will kick off with the 20 person Black Friday battle royale which will be “Rumble style” for the first time ever - and the winner gets a shot at Omar and the QCW World championship in the main event.

• “you should see me in a crown” brought out “Night Sky” Diana Spare to a big pop from Quality Arena.  The Women's World champion had her usual steely focus as she grabbed the mic from Duck Eko and hit the ring, holding the Women's World championship up high.  Spare said last week's main event saw Orion - you know, Orion, the National champion in the skybox, that Orion.  A spotlight found the Cosmic Champion where Spare said they were, and the crowd pop for Orion matched if not exceeded Diana's, even if Orion was content to tap the title belt glittering over a shoulder.  Diana said last week Orion was standing in this spot, defending the title successfully.  Nothing against Orion, and who knows, maybe they’d see each other in the battle royale next week - but for now, this was the part where she would do something a rung above Orion's win last week and would win this open challenge against any woman who came out to face her…because they would end up counting the lights and find out the hard way that QCW belonged to the night.

• Diana paced in the ring ..right up until “Shall We Gather At the River?” cut through the Parts Unknown air.  Out strode Diana's polar opposite in QCW, Goody Gardner, flanked by the End Times and the leader of the Chosen, “the Purifier” Caleb Gray.  As Gardner made her way down the ramp, the announce noted that (1} both Justice Davis and Drake Tremble were nowhere in sight and (2) Goody had clearly taken to heart Caleb's earlier words about bringing championship gold back into the arms of the Chosen.  Gardner was introduced by Duck and our main event was underway.

• 6. “Night Sky” Diana Spare [c] d. Goody Gardner (w/Caleb Gray & the End Times) in an open challenge to retain the Women's World championship at 11:40 In the early stages of the contest, the announce talked about how it was shocking that Gardner answered the challenge - that she and Caleb had maintained an air of somehow being above her frequently competing in the women's division for nearly two years - but with an opportunity at the Fifteen Pounds of Gold, Gardner opted to step up even while her chosen flock were fraying around her.  Spare has built her reputation as a hard hitting but clean fought battle, and Goody surprised many by going at Diana head on in that aspect even with plenty of backup on the floor.  Spare broke the early stalemate a couple of minutes in by catching an attempted crossbody by Gardner and turning it into a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker; before her opponent could get a base under them, Diana was coming off the ropes with a penalty kick to the small of the back.  Most of the match played out similarly, with Diana pressing her size advantage and working over Goody’s back.  But Gardner hung in tough, taking the punishment and continuing to try and fight from underneath.

• At one point, it looked like Caleb was going to interfere in the contest but Goody waved him off and he slowly returned to the floor - and Diana capitalized by hitting the distracted Gardner with a pop up Michinoku Driver that Goody ate for a long two count.  The Champ tried to follow up with a Black Hole Slam only for Goody to slip out the back and cinch Diana up before making her eat a Lawn Dart.  Goody moved as quick as her back would allow before following up with a Busiaku knee out of the Justice Davis playbook that got Goody her first solid two count of the match.  Gardner continued going after Diana, laying into her with some cracking open handed chops and even hitting Caleb Gray’s Inherit the Whirlwind cyclone kick.  But when she tried an avalanche kneedrop, Spare rolled out of harm’s way and Goody screamed in pain after whiffing.  Diana hit the ropes and sent Goody head over heels with a massive basement forearm smash, then picked her up and delivered on Nightfall to get another win, Carl saying that with the Quality Awards around the corner you had to figure Diana as a candidate if not winner of the Wrestler of the Year award.

• After replays, Diana was getting her hand raised when Gardner limped in her direction…and surprised everyone by extending her hand.  Spare looked suspicious before casting her gaze to the floor but Caleb Gray looked as confused as everyone else, and that may’ve been what caused Spare to shake Goody's hand to a decent pop from the faithful in the stands.  As Gardner left the ring using Gray to help her to the back with the End Times trailing behind, Spare hit the turnbuckles with the Fifteen Pounds of Gold in hand but she wasn't in the mood for a celebration.  She was pointing up at Orion in the skybox, and the National champion was standing and pointing at her in a mirror image of last week.  Ruckus went off the air with Steve hyping the Black and Blue Friday supershow next week and the champion vs. champion staredown continuing.

• Ruckus kicked off with a Mayday Payday recap video package.  Stills of Shelley LaVey and Lolo Vuitton brawling up the ramp and Ashok Banjerjee and Jacques Krieger celebrating their upset win over A Cut Above gave way to longer full video highlights from the main card: 💲🟪 Omar Littlefield making a destructive return by taking out both Beast Mode and the Cooper Brothers from Sky’s the Limit 💲🟪 Orion using an inside cradle to end Malicía Fernandez’s undefeated streak 💲🟪 Nazir el-Fadal cutting Pyotr Caviar down to size before putting him to bed with a dose of Nazquil 💲🟪 Bonnie Agrippa and Nancy Crowley of Hysteria absolutely folding up Collipark's International Players to take the World Tag Team championships much to the shock and dismay of the Minneapolis crowd 💲🟪 “Night Sky” Diana Spare and Fiona Fogg throwing down over the Women's World championship so much so that Fogg ended up with a busted lip and getting rammed repeatedly into the ringpost left Spare needing 9 stitches post match, but Diana managed to counter the Koji Clutch with a buckle Death Valley Driver and eventually an avalanche Nightfall to retain her belt 💲🟪 Justice Davis swinging wildly between his narrow focus in trying to get the QCW World and National championships and a nervous breakdown against Razorblade, even with the Chosen hitting the ring for more mind games before Nazir el-Fadal hit the ring to clear them out and The Double Champ to be able to retain his belts after a Soul Crusher.  The package ended with Savage Justice shaking hands, Naz mouthing “you owe me” to Razorblade and Mason Savage mouthing back “time and place” to his eternal rival (gone good?)

• After that, the usual open to “Invincible” rolled with the only notable difference being Bonnie and Nancy taking the International Players’ spot in the Cavalcade of Champions like they took the tag straps Sunday night.

• But the show didn't start with pyro and cheers; it started with Interim Commissioner Ig de Catur in the ring flanked by Quality Force Security and getting nearly booed out of Quality Arena.  In fact, the only thing that broke up the booing was a loud “WE WANT JUPITER!” chant.  Ig tried to speak a couple of times to nuclear heat and eventually left the ring to cheers with QFS.  

• Steve Vandeblanche and Mr. Excitement himself Craig Jacobs checked in from the desk but Steve barely had time to hype the Nazir el-Fadal vs. Drake Tremble main event before Ig popped up on the Qualitron 10000, calling the fans ungrateful when all he was trying to do was make the life blood of QCW healthier and not waste as much money on big names from the past when they could bring in people that would help make QCW’s future and continue a long, proud family history.  But if that was the reaction he was going to get for being mature enough to run the company then maybe he needed to look into more security for himself.  Maybe if the ungrateful people in the seats wanted to play Us vs. Then, maybe the next acquisitions for QCW wouldn't be for the roster…but a personal army committed to carrying out his vision in the Quality Arena he built.

• The Tron blipped out, then the rest of the lights did too.

• Lights on - and there was Hysteria side by side by side by side in the ring, Bonnie Agrippa and Nancy Crowley smiling evilly as they held up the World Tag Team championships.  They were on the outside for tonight's opener…

• 1.  Justine Danek and Bella Jolie of Hysteria (w/Bonnie Agrippa and Nancy Crowley) d. “Explosive” Emily Bennett and Luz Cruz at 9:22 Long time partners Justine and Bella showed their cohesiveness against the makeshift Bennett/Cruz team of former rivals, getting control and taking sick glee in working over their former leader while Steve noted on commentary that we were coming up on the anniversary of Hysteria's first year in QCW and how they’d spent most of that year with some kind of championship.  Justine and Bella showed off their in ring IQs by isolating Cruz, keeping her from tagging out whether it was goading the still green Bennett into the ring, knocking Emily off the apron, or yanking her off when it seemed Luz would have been closest to succeeding at tagging out.  But when J&B looked to put a bow on the fight with a Twelve Feet Under, their old leader saw it coming - Luz shoved Bella right into Justine’s Buckshot lariat which gave Cruz the opening she needed to tag Emily in.  Bennett then went to work on QCW’s resident coven and showed why she’d won a major tournament last summer, taking the fight to Justine and even using attempted Bella interference to hit Jolie with an enzuigiri while she came around the horn with a tornado DDT on Justine.  Emily followed up with a cradle piledriver shortly thereafter and looked to complete the babyfaces’ comeback by spiking Justine with Time’s Up, but she missed Justine tagging in Bella before she could complete the slingshot elevated powerbomb.  Jolie held onto Danek’s hand, which allowed Justine to sort of hurancanrana Emily into necking the top rope.  Suddenly Bella was doing the Buckshot while Justine was making Emily Eat Defeat, and just like that the goth queens had snapped off a Twelve Feet Under with the roles reversed.  Bella made the pin while behind the referee’s back Bonnie and Nancy yanked Luz off the apron and sandwiched her with title belt shots, allowing Hysteria to steal one and keep up their winning ways.

• The match replays got cut off and we had to return to live action, where Hysteria was swarming the effervescent Bennett with a 4 on 1 when she was already down - and a Bonnie/Nancy spike brainbuster kept Emily down.  Hysteria was stomping away on Emily before a woozy Luz crawled into the ring and covered up Emily's body with her own.  Hysteria looked stunned for a few seconds…then they stomped Luz out too.  Steve complained at the desk about the dark celebration Hysteria was having to mark winning the tag straps on Sunday night while Bonnie ordered her underlings to get some chairs.  They set up both Emily and Luz for Conchairtos, but the entire referee roster thankfully hit the ring and got between Nancy, Bonnie and their intended victims before they could swing away.  The ladies of Hysteria cackled amidst the boos raining down in Quality Arena before Bonnie snapped her fingers and Hysteria pulled off their trademark disappearance in the darkness trick.  Ruckus took its first commercial break of the evening with the referees and a couple of people from the medical staff trying to help Bennett and Cruz regain their bearings.

• 2. Fiona Fogg and Orion fought to a double countout at 8:03 After their differing Sunday nights, Fiona and Orion went after each other here with Steve intimating on commentary that the winner here would either get another title shot so of course they fought to a non conclusive ending after a decent fight from both sides.  Fiona was ahead slightly in the opening stretch, Orion rallied to get a slight upper hand in the middle portion and landed a hurancanrana that sent them both out to the floor.  They spent the referee’s ten count brawling around ringside and ignoring the count, then continued brawling after the bell until the referee corps came out and separated them.  Fiona's winless week left her stomping up the ramp while Orion was waving them on for more behind the couple of referees keeping them at bay; a cut to backstage showed Sohla Patel watching it all go down on a monitor.

• “Unscripted Violence” played for about three seconds before the roof came off of Quality Arena and Mason “Razorblade” Savage made his way to the ring through a crowd chanting his name.  The QCW World and National champion grabbed a mic from Duck Eko and held it out to goose even more cheers from the faithful before saying that Ig may have put his money into the place but he was the one who built this mothereffer (and he didn't say effer).  The crowd roared as Razorblade said he’d had to face enemies like Caleb Gray and Omar Littlefield, friends like Justice Davis, whatever the hell Naz was being right now to sell his merch; opponents changed, locations changed, but the only thing that remained #ANDSTILL the same was the fact that he was standing in this ring a double champion!  The Quality Controllers broke out into a “Champ Champ (woop woop)!” chant that got a short bark of a laugh out of Savage before he continued, saying that there was no rest for the weary and that he'd have it no other way.  

• In three weeks time, QCW would be having a supershow up in Philadelphia in the house that extreme built and you know damn well there was no way in hell he was going to miss it - in fact, he’d be defending the National championship at 2300, and there'd be an eight person gauntlet match to see who would get the shot at him and the World title at Cruel Summer.  But he wasn't going to leave them hanging - hell, the week after next he’d be picking the Fifteen Pounds of Gold up against someone who won a match next week and he didn't care who.  Because these belts he earned weren't participation trophies or certificates kids got for perfect attendance, but earned through battle, through struggle - by fighting.  And it just so happened that Mason Savage loved him a scrap.  So no matter where, no matter against who, they could send anyone against him because everyone bleeds.  He tossed the mic to Duck and held up his belts to another roar from the crowd, a roar that continued right up until Billie Eilish told everyone in the Arena and watching along on FDSN that they should see her in a crown.  Speaking of successful nights at Mayday Payday and World championships, “Night Sky” Diana Spare walked out for her open challenge to a massive pop of her own.  The Women's World champion ignored the “Holy shit!” chants as she headed down the ramp and got in the ring while Steve went nuts on commentary wondering if a champion vs. double champion match was going to be happening sooner rather than later.  Billie died off and Spare and Razorblade stared each other down while the crowd continued to be loud and partially bleeped out.  After the staring contest went on for a few beats, Spare finally cracked a sinister (?) grin and pointed at Mason's World title before holding up her own - which caused Razorblade to nod once, smile right back and hold up both of his championships.  Savage handed the mic over to Diana and left the ring and eventually the Arena through the concourse, leaving QCW’s resident dark princess holding down the ring.  

• Spare said that she wasn't waiting two weeks to defend her World championship despite the stitches Fiona Fogg put in her head Sunday night - she was issuing an open challenge and putting her Fifteen Pounds of Gold on the line right now! The crowd’s cheers over the impromptu title defense got flipped into boos real quick when “Shall We Gather At the River?” brought out the Chosen, with a sneering Goody Gardner leading the charge as the zealots came down the ramp chanting “Faith over fear!” A referee ran down after them to make it official and the fight began in earnest.

• 3. “Night Sky” Diana Spare [c] d. Goody Gardner (w/the Chosen) in an open challenge to retain the Women's World championship at 9:57 Goody took the fight to Diana right from the bell, but as Steve pointed out on commentary, maybe Goody was playing right into Spare’s hands by trying to outbrawl The Champ.  Turned out he was right, as Diana eventually got the upper (right) hand on Goody and stayed a step ahead of her the whole way.  Goody fought gamely throughout and even hissed at the rest of the Chosen when they tried to interfere on her behalf, but her one decently sized rally ran right into a Black Hole slam that made sure Diana wouldn't lose the upper hand the rest of the way.  If there's one thing for sure in QCW, Nightfalls get pinfalls and that was once again the case here.  Spare took her belt and headed back up the ramp with no joy to be seen on her face despite the crowd chanting her name as Ruckus headed to commercials.

• The previously online exclusive footage of Julius Duquesne III interviewing the College Park Family after the International Players lost the World Tag Team championships at Mayday Payday aired, and once Lucius Patton and Benjamin Valentino managed to find the ability to speak they didn't have much to say.  They gave Hysteria props but mentioned they’d been a shell of themselves lately everybody knew why - and rather than waste everybody's time with excuses they were going home for support and to honestly get their heads together.  JD3 ended the interview and they hugged him, so things are BAD bad.

• 4. Beast Mode (w/Lolo Vuitton) d. the Cooper Brothers of Sky’s the Limit (w/Tre Boyd and Kam Ellis) at 11:51 This was a make good from Sunday night, where Omar Littlefield ruined this match before it could even start and laid out all four men.  Here, the Mode/StL rivalry continued but to the shock of most of the audience it was the newer Coopers who controlled most of the match against former champions Roy Fade and Pierce Moore.  The identical twins used their high flying to not only jump out to an early lead but maintain it thanks to high flying and speedy offense.  Even an attempt at interference from Lolo Vuitton got quickly shut down by Boyd and Ellis, and DeCameron made sure to taunt her before flying off the top with a 450° splash – but the “Dashing” Californian got his knees up and surprised Marc with a sudden flash Fresh To Death.  After Pierce covered him, Mare hit the ring to save his brother but got intercepted as “These Hands” leapt off his partner's back to blast the other Cooper with a Decision that made sure the three count came down.  Just like that, Beast Mode had snatched victory from the jaws of defeat and Steve pointed out on commentary that they got a measure of revenge for Boyd KOing Fade with brass knuckles on the last episode of Ruckus.  Beast Mode smirked their way to the back while Boyd looked frustrated, repeatedly telling Marc he couldn't be hesitating like that now that they were in the big leagues and that he wasn't always going to be there to bail them out.

• Ahead of the commercial break we got a teaser for someone new coming to join the roster - he’s magisterial, he takes the work seriously but never himself, darling, and he will he will rock you - Freddie Valsada is coming soon.  Not soon enough if you ask him.  

• 5. Jacques Krieger (w/Ashok Banjerjee) d. Prince Ootsuka (w/the All Starr Stable) at 11:38 This was a rematch from last month where Ootsuka put Krieger to sleep and then the whole Stable stomped out Ashok when he tried to make a post match save, beginning the odd couple of AsJacques or Banjerkriegs or whatever you like to call them.  They picked up right where they left off on April 18th, both men throwing heavy shots early.  The forearm exchange looked like it would go to the Prince but when he went for a rolling forearm shot Krieger blocked it and spun Ootsuka around before drilling him with a shotei that sounded like a firecracker went off to drop the Stable’s replacement and get gasps and cheers from the crowd.  Krieger started pushing his advantage and felt good enough about his offense to go for the Jacqueshammer a couple of minutes later but Ootsuka slipped out and tattooed the New Jerseyite with a pair of superkicks to the back of the head that sent Krieger spilling to the floor.  Ootsuka got out to the apron and let out a sharp yelp before running down it for momentum to deliver a double stomp to Jacques on the floor.  As Starr and crew cheered him on, Ootsuka targeted Krieger's midsection while Ashok rallied the fans, and they got their hopes out when Krieger slipped a cobra clutch attempt to send Ootsuka flying and immediately capitalized with a massive pump knee that turned out the lights in Sapporo.  Krieger muscled the limp Prince over and to a mildly shocked but pleased crowd, got the 3.  The Stable fumed on the floor while Krieger loomed cooly over the knocked out Ootsuka and Ashok celebrated like he’d won the match, eventually getting a small grin out of Krieger as they headed to the back.  Steve noted that Jacques and the Prince were tied at one after that massive Krieger knee strike, a shot so big it even woke Jacobs up for a few seconds.

• Ahead of the main event, Steve hyped up some of the big matches on 💫 next week's Ruckus 💫: Omar Littlefield makes his in-ring return in what should be a bruising battle against “the Fury” Jim Jaspers | the next level of the long-standing rivalry between Shelley LaVey and Lolo Vuitton will see them throw down in a weapons match | and “The Purifier” Caleb Gray and “the Paragon” Drake Tremble of the Chosen will be in the main event against Mayday Payday opponents and once again friends Savage Justice – but before that main event, Tremble's got a big solo one on his plate right now…

Nazir el-Fadal d. “The Paragon” Drake Tremble at 12:15 …ah, well.  Two things of note happened before the action got underway: Naz has changed his theme to Nas and Keri Hilson’s “Hero”, accompanied with enough gold and white pyro to get a down payment on a Senator; at Naz’s request, he had the rest of the Chosen sent to the back before the match got underway and when Caleb, Goody and the End Times wouldn't go willingly, Quality Force Security came out and made them.  The One Man Jihad made sure to taunt them on their way out, leaving an opening for Tremble to jump him from behind as the match started.  Tremble, furious about his fellow acolytes being shunted away from ringside went after Naz with the sort of aggression that made him a 3x former World champion, and the self proclaimed Greatest Man Alive spent most of the early going on the back foot and/or surviving near falls.  An exchange of strikes in the middle of the ring down the stretch seemed to be won by a Tremble big boot that sent el-Fadal between the top and middle ropes to the apron.  Drake laid in more shots and went for what presumably would have been Repentance into the hardest part of the ring, but Naz had enough wherewithal to slip out the back door and shove the Paragon into the ring post.  Tremble staggered into the waiting arms of el-Fadal, who added injury to injury by landing his signature Night Night and turning a hiptoss into a Michinoku Driver to the floor that got the biggest pop of the entire show along with more than a few “HOLY SHIT!” chants.  Naz seemed more than willing to win by countout but a clearly dazed Tremble staggered in the ring at 9 only to get pounced on by the ever opportunistic Grand Slam Club member ei-Fadal with a dose of Nazquil that led to Drake’s downfall and pinfall. 

• After replays, Naz celebrated on the turnbuckles for a bit before making A Very Familiar Gesture around his waist – but the last shot of the show was from a skybox in QArena of Ig de Catur flanked by some Quality Force Security members and cheering just as much as the fans surrounding him were.  Ruh-roh(?)
