FDSN Florida and Ruckus presents the 2025 Quality Summer Classic

📺 live on FanDuel Sports Network Florida

📍 Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, FL

  • A video package recapped last week's Ruckus where Commissioner Ig de Catur set a trap by announcing a Naz/Razorblade #1 contenders rematch of their Cruel Summer classic, only for his Republic of World champion Omar Littlefield and National champion Malicía Fernandez to jump them and stomp them out before they could even lock up.  Ig then gleefully announced the Republic would face off against Naz and Razorblade with the years long rivals forced to team up in a parejas Incredibles turn of events - and that all star main event tag headlines tonight's super sized episode of Ruckus - the Quality Summer Classic.

  • Special opening for a special episode of Ruckus, which had John Fogerty’s “Centerfield” in place of Pat Benatar’s “Invincible” and was paced accordingly.  Once that was done rolling we were looking live at Steinbrenner Field in Tampa.  Pyro exploded from the rim of the Field and the scoreboards while Steve Vandeblanche welcomed us to the supershow with limited commercial interruptions in front of a sellout crowd of over 11,000 - and if you're wondering, Craig Jacobs is still technically alive.

  • Steve gave a little more hype to the main event as well as Hysteria facing off against “Explosive” Emily Bennett, Luz Cruz, Shelley LaVey and the Women's World champion “Night Sky” Diana Spare in an eight woman tag before throwing things to Duck Eko in the ring.  The Voice of QCW, nattily clad in a blue and green baseball jersey themed smoking jacket with the word QUALITY across the front in cursive made the announcements for the Quality Summer Classic opener…

  • 1. Goody Gardner (w/the Chosen) d. Ashley “THEE Influencer” Szabo (w/”Tiki God” Al Buffett) at 11:07 Ever since a shady Caleb Gray victory over Justice Davis at Cruel Summer forced him to join the flock, the Chosen have seen their stock surge with repeated wins over the Game Changers in both singles and tag action.  This looked to be a bit of a mismatch given that Gardner rarely “lowers herself” to in ring competition and Szabo was a Duquesne Classic finalist last year and 90% of the match played out that way; THEE Influencer used her power and size advantages to toss Goody around and repeatedly make her eat canvas.  Down the stretch a frustrated Gardner slapped Ashley, who laughed it off and snapmared her down before burying a series of hammer and anvil elbows into the holy woman's jaw.  A second rope flying Codebreaker followed, and Ashley dragged Goody into the drop zone for her finishing top rope flying fist drop - but Gardner rolled out of the way at the last second leaving Szabo to crash and burn.  After a quick glance towards her compatriots, Goody pulled herself up with the ring ropes before charging out of the corner and blasting the Game Changer with an enzui Busiaku knee that sent Ashley flying hard into the middle turnbuckle face first.  Szabo went limp after impact and Goody dragged her away from the corner before stunning everyone by getting the three count.

  • After replays and getting her hand raised Goody shook hands with most of the Chosen but gave Davis (who uses a Busiaku knee as his finisher) as big a hug as her 5’4” frame allowed before jumping up and down joyously in victory - and Justice looked absolutely gobsmacked to find himself being the hugee.  Gardner disengaged and calmed herself down before the Chosen started to leave the ring…except Davis, who still looked shellshocked and Gray, who briefly looked irate but then you could almost see a light bulb go on over his head.  Drake Tremble told them to come on so they could go celebrate and Gray clapped his (former?) rival on the shoulder on his way out, leaving JD with a WTF look on his face before he eventually left the ring.

  • Footage from Earlier Today showed Ig de Catur's private jet touching down at the Tampa airport and emptying a small village once it landed: Quality Force Security, the National champion Malicía Fernandez, the World champion Omar Littlefield and the (acting) Commissioner himself.  de Catur addressed the camera, saying that while he would usually avoid Tampa in the summer like it was the Hamptons after Labor Day, this was a special night with a special supershow that would end with a moment QCW fans would talk about forever.  Tonight, the handpicked soldiers of his personal army - champions both! - would rid QCW of the insolent cancers known as Nazir el-Fadal and Razorblade.

  • Ig had something else to say but Omar stepped on it, barking loudly that he would send one or both of them to the hospital tonight after Señorita behind him executed their Death Warrants.  He was pissed off that they thought they could stand up to the Republic without him destroying them!  They weren't heroes, they were chumps, and after tonight they'd just be two more bodies rotting in the swamp.  Littlefield stomped out of frame and Malicía followed him silently, leaving Ig to cackle in their wake before walking out of the shot himself.

  • 2. International Lotus 2.0 d. Science Fiction Double Feature at 8:38 This was the first match for Fiona Fogg and Sohla Patel as a tag team after officially getting together a couple of weeks ago but it didn't start out well for them; a SFDF on a mission to snap their losing streak came out of the gates hot and cleared the ring before the match was two minutes old by sending Patel to the floor and backdropping Fogg onto her.  The tides turned when Fogg viciously raked Jane Doe’s eyes while she was in a fireman's carry then dropkicked her in the back of the head to send her staggering chest first into the Lotus corner.  Fogg tagged Sohla in and they used the referee's five count to hit a step up enzuigiri/Flatliner combination to further drive Jane down.  The new look Lotus spent the bulk of the match trying to put Doe on First 48 and the Collipark Curse rolled merrily along when Cindy tried to senton bomb a save for Jane after her partner had eaten a double delayed gourdbuster only for Sohla to dodge out of the way.  Cindy connected flush with Jane and when she checked on her partner Lotus snuck up on the former Women's World champion and tossed her shoulder first into the ringpost.  Already losing, Jane couldn't overcome 2 on 1 odds and Lotus put her out of her misery shortly thereafter with a Doomsday Blockbuster to start their tandem off in the win column.  They celebrated like they just invented the cure for cancer all the way to the back while in the ring Jane looked at Cindy with anger and Monet couldn't even meet her partner’s eyes.  And where the hell were the International Players?  Not the cheeriest of moods to go to commercials but needs must.

  • We came back from the break to a nervous looking Julius Duquesne III, who admitted to us all that the next sentence coming out of his mouth would be words he thought he'd ever hear, let alone be the one to say.  "Let me bring on my guests at this time: "the One Man Jihad" Nazir el-Fadal and Mason "Razorblade" Savage!" You could hear the crowd in the stadium erupt as Naz and Razorblade came onto the set on either side of QCW"s avuncular interviewer.  They glared at each other while JD3 asked the question that was on everyone's mind - how in the hell were the two of them going to be together as a tag team given all the times they've gone to war in the past, up to and including Cruel Summer?

  • El-Fadal and Savage glared at each other a while before Razorblade growled out "You're the one who loves talking, so talk." Naz tilted his head, let out a little scoff & sarcastically said "Lil' ol' moi?  Well, if you insist."

  • Naz then said that any time of day or night online you could find thousands of bots and simps praising the business genius of Ig, treating him like a visionary who would go on to be celebrated for the rest of history.  And Naz was willing to give credit where it was due, because he had done something for QXW nobody had ever seen before -- he sucked so (THAT'S a swear) bad that for once and maybe the only time in league history, he and Mason had found somebody to hate more than each other.  Over the past two months he'd dispatched a couple of thieves who belonged in Triple A to steal away their championships, to snatch glory, the spotlight and championship checks away from the men who deserved them -- from the men who made QCW a headline destination for ex-cons and disaffected luchadoras alike.  And their reward for killing each other to determine THE brightest light in QCW history was for some face painted Wednesday and a Scarface who knew more about being behind bars than spitting bars to walk around with their property in something Ignacious de Asshole was daring to call HIS house?!

  • Well, tonight they were going to start learning the hard way how he and Razor liked to go to bat.  It wasn't a matter of if Ig, Omar and Malicía were going to get sent flying into the upper deck but when because his rabble demanded it and the off duty dock workers who cheered for Razorblade did, too.  Because he and Savage agreed on nothing much outside of the healing properties of aged whiskies but he knew this - their hatred, their era defining rivalry, the joy they got out of whaling on each other was going to have to get a pin put in it.  Because as much as they hated each other, they hated the fact Malicía was walking around with a stolen National championship even more.  As much as they despised each other, they despised Omar that much more, because so far as Naz could figure the one who needed a gift from his sugar daddy to steal the World title wasn't them because they were man enough to fight about it no matter what the calendar said or where the arena was.  And if Ig thought he could show up and flash a little cash so he could piss in their pool, they'd find some way to kick him out of his ivory tower, take him into deep water and drown his sorry ass.  So, no, the question wasn't "caN THEY coExIST?!", the real question was how would the world like the look they got at Ig's latest, greatest innovation: a TWO Man Jihad ready to destroy the abomination that had created it.

  • The crowd roared their approval, some even chanting "Two Man Jihad!" but Razorblade hushed the crowd by grabbing the mic from Julius and getting in Naz's face.  "You forgot one thing, Nazzie." growled the multi time former World champion.  Naz puffed his chest out and stuck his chin up and called a fist, but Razorblade put a hand on his chest and smiled the grin of a daenon watching eyeballs melted off by hellfire.

  • "You forgot the most important part." Razorblade turned and stared down the camera like a sharp shooter's. scope.  "Everyone standing with Ig and Mr. Moneybags himself are going to bleed.  SLOWWWW." Savage proved he wasn't merely selling woof tickets when his other hand rose to reveal a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire.  He slung it over his shoulder and walked off whistling some Johnny Cash, leaving Julius clearly shook and Naz beaming.  JD3 nearly jumped a foot in the air when Naz leaned over and said "Last time I saw him like that was ¡lucha muerte! and now he's going to inflict that kind of ass kicking to someone who isn't me!  Nah, I take it all back, Ig's a genius!" el-Fadal let out a familiar cackle as he walked off, leaving Julius to compose himself before throwing things back to Duck in the ring, ready to hit the intros for our next match...

  • 3. “Sinister” Sarah Fowler (w/Midsomar) d. Christine Kent at 8:11 Showcase match for the steadily rising Fowler, as despite a couple of brief offensive flurries QCW’s favorite farmgirl had mostly no answer for the borderline deranged Fowler and also got ran into the steel ringpost by Midsomar at a crucial moment in the match behind the referee's back  Fowler went over (mostly) clean with her Dark Days implant inverted DDT.

  • Before the commercial break we got another highlight package of the Catch Hell Wrestling League tag team champions the Undaunted, big on high risk flights and emptying pints.  Tim McMurray and Dave Mullin were seen backstage after another successful titles defense at last Saturday's Catch Hell show and said they had a surprise for everyone on our side of the pond - next Friday, QCW was returning to Quality Arena and they would be in the house to get an up close look at the Hysteria lasses who walk around calling themselves the best tag team in the world.  Some play the numbers game…some crumble under the weight of a title reign…but some?  Well, some remain Undaunted.

  • 4. Hysteria d. “Night Sky” Diana Spare, “Explosive” Emily Bennett, Luz Cruz and Shelley LaVey at 11:37 It's unknown whether or not Hysteria heard the words of the proud Irish tag team champions from across the pond but what we know is they followed that promo by getting a win that was as chaotic as it was shady.  No sooner had Hysteria materialized than the babyfaces all rushed the ring as a unit, kicking off a Pier 8 that saw fists flying in the ring and on the grass.  The referee called for the bell but the fight didn't stop, and it took a few beats for things to settle down and establish Nancy Crowley and her ex friend Spare as the legal women.  They delivered the sort of borderline hockey fight only former allies can with Spare getting an upper hand and tagging in Cruz before they teamed up for a wheelbarrow suplex into a neckbreaker.  But the feral Crowley didn't take long to bite her way out of trouble and tag in the new leader Nancy Crowley who’d unceremoniously ousted Luz at the top of Hysteria's food chain back in March.  The World Tag Team champions hit a flurry of alternating strikes before dropping Cruz with a double DDT, fully milking the referee's five count in the process.  Hysteria began going to work after that and it only took a couple of minutes for the underlying truth to bear out; while the anti witches were all talented and their squad didn't fall victim to the sort of infighting that happened to other babyface teams that’d gone up against Hysteria in the past, Hysteria was a tighter unit and seemed to be a half step ahead the whole time despite the best efforts of the white hats.

  • Cruz fought gamely through the fracas and was the workhorse of her squad as she mounted a furious rally late and seemingly had Justine Danek dead to rights after connecting with ¡MUERTE!, but the rest of Hysteria all came flying in for the save.  This led to the second Pier 8 of the match, and the referee couldn't clear out the ring fast enough.  Not being one to miss an opportunity or a dirty trick, Agrippa used the chaos to her advantage and planted her share of the tag titles upside Cruz’s head.  Luz fell like a stone into a pond, Justine crawled over and flopped onto Luz, and when Hysteria held off Bennett, LaVey and Spare it led to boos ringing out in Steinbrenner as QCW’s resident coven snatched victory from the jaws of defeat.  Incensed by the BS loss, Diana, Emily and Shelley went after Hysteria post match - only for Bonnie to snap her fingers and plunge the Field into darkness.  When the lights came back on, of course there was no Hysteria to be found, leaving Emily and Shelley to try and bring Luz around while Diana stacked up bleeps on the broadcast like Pringles.

  • From there, we went TOTHEBACK~!, where Naomi Lee was standing by to interview her guests: Sky’s the Limit.  The entire group was there but it was leader Tre Boyd who got the bulk of the attention as he had a singles match up next.  Naomi asked, given what we’d seen in the past few weeks if things were all good with Sky’s the Limit.  Tre waved it off, saying that it was his job as the captain of the team to coach these knuckleheads up.  (The Cooper Brothers and Kam Ellis exchanged looks but didn't correct him.) There was no better way to lead by example than going out and racking up a dub,  How they got the name Beast Mode when it was two real threats and a pretty boy from Beverly Hills was beyond him, but where the Rays had racked up so many losses all year he wasn't going to get sucked into a Pierce Moore like vortex of loserdom.  And after he won, he was going to hassle the boss man until he got a shot at the National championship.  Maybe the Coopers lost their shot at Cruel Summer, but the moment he got his opportunity at a title belt he’d prove he was good as gold.  When Naomi pointed out he’d lost a World title shot to Razorblade earlier in the year, he told her to stop trying to neg him by bringing up old stuff before telling the AV team to hit his music so he could show her, Pierce and anybody else watching why they shouldn't play with “the Gospel”. In short order “Just Wanna Rock” hit the PA to bring out StL with Boyd leading his squad to the ring, followed by “Long Live the Chief” to bring out Moore and the rest of Beast Mode.

  • 5. Tre Boyd (w/Sky's the Limit) d. “Dashing” Pierce Moore (w/Beast Mode) at 9:34 It was once said that it's not bragging if you can back it up and from the opening bell Tre Boyd lived up to that maxim.  Boyd was in motion right before and as the bell rang, meaning that Moore turned and ate a shotgun dropkick a couple seconds in that sent him flying into a corner.  Boyd stomped him out until the ref pulled him off and Moore never really recovered.  Even when Pierce managed to send Tre to the floor, Boyd landed on his feet and in three jumps landed an enzui missile dropkick that sent Moore out to the floor where he did not land on his feet.  Worse, when he got to them Boyd hit a wrecking ball dropkick then skinned the cat before running the ropes and wiping out Pierce again - this time with a step up shooting star plancha that had Steve raving on commentary and Steinbrenner Field rocking with “Holy shit!” chants.  That nifty move got four replays and the rest of the match was dominated by the Gospel, who didn't need another four minutes to take care of the overmatched Moore.  A Blue Thunder bomb set up a spot on Spiral Tap that Boyd calls Say Hallelujah for the win.  Right before the last commercial break and after replays we saw the rest of Sky’s the Limit hit the ring to congratulate their friend and leader - but Boyd mostly shrugged them off and hit the turnbuckles to celebrate by himself, crowing that he was going to hold the National championship soon enough and long enough.  The colossal main event is coming up next.

  • While not a supershow, 💫 next week's Ruckus 💫 will be back at Quality Arena and have some more big matches: Ashok Banjerjee and the Proper Villains will face the All Starr Stable in trios action | Justine Danek and Bella Jolie of Hysteria tag up against Luz Cruz and the Women's World champion “Night Sky” Diana Spare | And in the main event, Pyotr Caviar will go one on one with Nazir el-Fadal. Speaking of Naz and main events, we were set to get ours underway.

  • “The Old Guard Is Dead” brought out Quality Force Security to flank the entire Republic as they headed to the ring.  Ig was in full smarm and you could hear him bragging off camera loud enough to be heard as he led the World and National champions down to the ring.  Omar Littlefield and Malicía Fernandez stood defiantly in the middle of the ring and thrust their titles skyward, setting off a barrage of gold and white pyro in the outfield while de Catur clapped for his foot soldiers and the crowd baptized them in boos.  The tenor of Steinbrenner changed when “Unscripted Violence” began blasting out, but after a while there was no Razorblade in sight.  “Unscripted” fired up again, but when Mason failed to show up again the music quickly changed to Nas x Keri Hilson’s “Hero”.  Yet Naz didn't come out then, nor when they fired that track up again.  Ig was bragging that they were too scared to show up and get destroyed by his handpicked champions when the voice of an unquiet ghost rang out across the baseball stadium.

  • 🎶 Awww (shit).  You done (fucked) up now.  You done put 2 of Amerika'z Most Wanted in the same mutha(fuckin’) place at the SAME mutha(fuckin’) time?!  Y’all (nis) about to feel this…🎶

  • And just like 2Pac and Snoop Dogg had teamed up to deliver a gangsta party on “Amerika'z Most Wanted” a generation ago, out emerged Nazir el-Fadal and Mason “Razorblade” Savage together through some light rolling fog, Razorblade with the barbed wire baseball bat on his shoulder and Naz toting Greetings From Hayt Corner.   The pop was massive as they started power walking to the ring.  Fernandez and Littlefield met them on the floor only to get the weapons thrown at them and for the oddest of couples to start throwing hands like a pizza maker tossing dough.  The Pier 4 went all around ringside even after the bell rang, with both sides tagging both members of the opposition.  Razorblade seemed to rattle the black hats with janky looking but effective chops to the side of the neck, causing Duck to move out of the way just in time to see Savage alley oop a charging Naz into a flying European uppercut on both champions that sent all 3 of them flying over the dividing barricade and into the front couple of rows (hopefully those were plants).  Naz disentangled himself from the pile and let out a war cry that sent another seismic pop across the Field. It was only then that they hit the ring and posed on the turnbuckles, Duck finally making their announcement and deciding to call them the Razorblade Jihad.  As you might suspect, the crowd was Here For It.

  • 6. Nazir el-Fadal and Mason “Razorblade” Savage d. Omar Littlefield and Malicía Fernandez (w/Ig de Catur and Quality Force Security) at 14:19 There was craziness before the match, and there would be more craziness afterwards, but it’ll go down in the record books as a win for maybe the unlikeliest tag team in QCW history.   RazorNaz carried the momentum from winning the opening brawl into the early part of the match, and despite the occasional glare and hesitation between tags, el-Fadal and Savage got along well enough to keep the Republic on their heels, even teaming up for a Midnight Expression double flapjack on Omar that splashed the fallen Malicía and popped the Tampa branch of Quality Controllers something fierce.  Naz and Razorblade exchanged evil grins and kept rolling from there but their success as a team hit a brick wall when it looked like they might've been setting up to finish off Fernandez with a Doomsday Device of all things - but a Malicía poison rana on Naz and Omar booting Razorblade off the top rope to send him flying into the dividing barricade put the see saw on the Republic’s side from there.

  • Steve played up the size advantage that Ig’s squad had over the antiheroes and it played out as Omar and Malicía took turns gleefully working over the One Man Jihad.  But Naz's stubborn nature and fighting spirit refused to let him stay down for the count, whether it was after a Fernandez somersault axe kick, a massive Littlefield moonsault or a two person alley oop MF5 that saw Naz save the match by getting his foot on the ropes at 2.9.  After delivering a couple minutes’ more punishment to Naz, the Republic moved in for the kill; first they hit a double big boot to knock Razorblade off the apron.  Then they turned their attention to Naz, goozling him before splattering him square in the middle of the ring with a double chokeslam.  Naz wasn't moving this time as the three count came down - but Razorblade not only dove in for the save, he did so from the top rope with a diving headbutt on year long rival Omar.  The crowd popped at the fight going longer but snapped right back to booing as Malicía snatched up Razorblade and sent him flying over the top rope.  Seeing the situation in the ring, she thought quickly and started dragging the almost 290 pound Omar to the Republic’s corner before going back to the apron so she could tag herself in.  Malicía got into the ring and quickly scooped up Naz for the Death Warrant but the last World champion fell down limp before he could even hit the ropes.  Fernandez grabbed his wrist and kicked him in the head and somehow el-Fadal went even more limp.  Malicía let go of him and told the referee to check him and declare him out.  The referee checked but Malicía got impatient and went after Naz again, landing a series of clubbing forearms across his back until he was flat on the mat.  Malicía cursed at the booing crowd in Spanish and lifted up the One Man Jihad, but Naz surprised her with a flash dose of Nazquil that left them both down and out.  Razorblade stomped on the steps to help with location and to fire up the faithful, and after a better part of a ten count Naz staggered his way to the corner and tagged in a fresher, furious Razorblade.  Savage leapt into the ring and ducked a high kick from Malicía before landing a Superman punch that sent Omar off the apron and down to the floor.  Malicía snuck up on the man she’d taken the National championship from and went for a German suplex but Savage landed on his feet and chop blocked her - then hit the ropes and delivered a massive sliding king sized lariat.

  • With Omar temporarily out of the picture that allowed Razorblade to pepper Fernandez with heavy rights and even a couple of suplexes.  After delivering a big spinebuster Mason was in to end it, but found himself grabbed by the boot and yanked out of the ring by Littlefield at 2 ¾.  Omar and Mason didn't take long to start hockey fighting on the floor like it was AnniVersary last year.   The fight showed no signs of stopping until a black and gold blur suddenly flew into the frame with a tope suicida, Naz having built up so much speed that he was able to drive Omar through the front of the announce table.  He and Omar were laid out flat in the wreckage while more “Holy shit!” chants went up around Steinbrenner and we got some commentary free replays.

  • Razorblade looked stunned at the carnage (the whole Naz putting somebody else through a table of it all) and Malicía looked to take advantage by capitalizing with a dive.  The National champion flew over the top with a tope con hilo - but Savage caught the luchadora and got a running start before powerbombing her into the steel steps, laying her out and causing another round of “Holy shit!” chants.  As Steve made it back on the air we got replays of the stairs bomb while Razorblade threatened Ig with a backhand in real time.  Some members of QFS came over to protect Ig, so Razorblade said “This next part’s on you” before bundling Malicía up and throwing her in the ring.  Savage followed in before hoisting Fernandez up on his shoulders and walking up a set of turnbuckles.  Razorblade pointed at Ig before getting his footing on the top rope and launching nearly 500 pounds off the top rope with the legendary Soul Crusher.  The referee slapped the canvas three times, and Razorblade nodded as the victory was secured.

  • But we weren't done there, friends.

  • Naz rolled into the ring to get his and Razorblade’s hands raised by the ref but as it happened both members of the Republic came barrelling in to drop them from behind.  Steve noted Ig barking out orders and noted that if they had lost the battle Plan B was to walk out winning the war; this point was further driven home when Malicía tossed Naz with a MF5 and Omar splattered Razorblade with a tree slam.  Ig began giving orders to QFS and two members reached under the ring and pulled out a ladder; all three men shoved it into the ring while Malicía put it into position and stacked Razorblade then Naz on top of it.  Fernandez hit them both with headbutts while de Catur yelled at Omar to go to the top rope and splatter them with a moonsault.  Omar stepped on them and went up to the penthouse of the ring…right before the lights cut out.

  • Three grungy, grungetastic guitar riffs blared out over Tampa, then repeated.  The riff added another piece to it, repeated twice over and a male voice said “Yeah!” before the lights came back on and a figure in a hoodie was standing in the middle of the ring right in Omar's drop zone.  But they weren't still for long, as they launched a superkick that flattened Fernandez.  The crowd roar made Omar turn around only to eat a face full of ladder in turn.  Omar fell off the turnbuckles and staggered to the middle of the ring where he ate a superkick that wobbled him.  Razorblade slowly drew himself up and shrugged, then he and the hooded figure launched a double superkick that drove Omar to his knees.  Littlefield was rocked but was waving on more punishment, not seeing el-Fadal slowly rising behind him with a malicious smile on his face.  Razorblade and the mystery man launched another double superkick that hit the World champion on the button while Naz tagged Omar with a rolling elbow to the back that sent Omar to the mat.  A furious de Catur demanded QFS hit the ring and take all three of whomever did this to his army, and after a moment of hesitation they hit the ring - but the hooded figure draped the ladder over his shoulders and began spinning around, putting several purple shirts on their ass.  “Hooded Justice” threw the ladder horizontally to floor a bunch of QFS, but got almost knocked down by a de Catur cheap shot.  The hoodie turned around and dropped Ig with another superkick that had Steinbrenner roaring, then set up the ladder by the Commissioner.  They climbed the ladder a little slowly before reaching the top and taking off their hoodie, throwing it down angrily onto Ig’s fallen form and plenty of the stadium gasped in shock and Surrender Cobras when we found out who they were.

  • Six months and a day after an Omar Littlefield attack had put him in the ICU, SCOTT HOLMES WAS BACK.  And the former (?) Commissioner wasn't just back, he was flying off the ladder with the guillotine of all leg drops that crushed Ig underneath it.  Steve was stammering that he couldn't believe what he was seeing as Razorblade helped Holmes to his feet and a couple of QFS pulled Ig’s limp body from the ring.  The battered Republic stood in the aisleway glaring at the ring, where Razorblade was cackling and clapping like a kid who'd gotten a Switch 2 for his birthday, Holmes silently glared at all 15 of them, and for obvious reasons Naz glared at the returning Holmes.  Soundgarden's “My Wave” (Holmes’ OG theme 31 years ago) kicked up in full over the PA as the crowd roared over seeing him back in the company he’d taken to unprecedented heights, while the credit box came up and a cut to Steve at the desk showed him open mouthed at a scene he’d previously assumed could only happen in an alternative universe.  It was Craig Jacobs of all people who got in the last words of the inaugural Quality Summer Classic.

FDSN Florida Presents QCW Ruckus [s4e37 • August 8th, 2025]

📺 live on FanDuel Sports Network Florida

📍 Quality Arena in Parts Unknown, FL

  • The show opened with a pre tape from Earlier Today with Ig de Catur - now with a bandage on his forehead - behind his desk in the Commissioner’s office flanked by Quality Force Security, National champion Malicía Fernandez, and the QCW World champion Omar Littlefield.  de Catur said that despite the assault last week that had him afraid for his life, he suspected he knew what that street thug Razorblade meant when he said Ig owed him and despite his misgivings he was inclined to give it to him.  Therefore, tonight, in a rematch of their instant classic at Cruel Summer that many people were calling the best QCW match of all time, Razorblade would get a rematch against that arrogant prick Nazir el-Fadal…and the winner of that match would become the new #1 contender and be summarily destroyed by the REAL World champion, Omar Littlefield.  When Ig said “Enjoy the show” to close the piece afterwards, the grin on his face was far too wide to be misinterpreted as anything friendly.

  • The standard open rolled from there, welcoming us to another Friday night from Quality Arena.  The fans were almost as loud as Steve Vandeblanche was in hyping the bombshell of a Naz/Razorblade rematch with the #1 contendership on the line, and presumably Craig Jacobs is still legally alive.  We then went to the Voice of QCW center ring, and Duck Eko made the introductions for tonight's opening tag…

  • 1. “Explosive” Emily Bennett & Shelley LaVey fought Justine Danek & Bella Jolie of Hysteria (w/Bonnie Agrippa & Nancy Crowley) to a double countout at 9:05 Things eventually broke down to the point where everybody wouldn't stop fighting and got counted out, but before that we had an entertaining tag match in the latest installment of Hysteria vs. the rest of the women's division.  Despite nothing really uniting them besides a mutual hatred of Hysteria, Emily and Shelley showed good cohesiveness in the early going of the bout and even cleared the ring after landing a couple of double dropkicks.  But a blind tag allowed Danek and Jolie to hit a diving leg lariat Hi/Lo combo that wiped out the unsuspecting Bennett and tilted things in Hysteria’s direction.  Long time teammates Justine and Bella started working Emily over by doing what they do best: halving the ring, tandem offense, and if there was a stray cheap shot here or there behind the referee’s back, all the better.  The women of Hysteria looked like they were going to end things by taking Emily out with their vaunted Twelve Feet Under but Emily managed to shove Bella into Justine on the apron.  As they tried to recover, Emily landed a handspring double heel kick to send them both to the floor.  Emily bounced off the ropes twice to ramp up speed and LaVey joined in on her way back before both of them took out Danek and Jolie with stereo tope suicidas.  That sparked a Pier 4 on the outside that saw LaVey get lawn darted into one set of stairs and Jolie into the other.  Justine kept Emily from getting into the ring, Bennett did it right back to her and with their brawl on the outside rolling merrily along the referee had no choice but to call for the bell.

  • But the bell ringing didn't stop fists from flying, and what was a Pier 4 turned into a Pier 6 when the World Tag Team champions quickly came around the corner to the defense of their friends.  Bennett and LaVey couldn't fight off all four members, leading to them getting beaten down before being tossed in the ring like dirty laundry into a hamper.  They used the ropes and binded Emily in them before they focused on Agrippa and Crowley’s ex friend LaVey.   Justine and Bella pinned Shelley's arms while the champs seemed like they were setting up to make Shelley's head the dark meat in a title belt sandwich…right before Bad Bunny hit the PA.  Luz Cruz came running down the ramp to even the odds a bit and throw hands against her former stable but she struck feet first with a springboard dropkick that loosed Bennett before slamming right into Bonnie Agrippa’s temple.  Cruz’s appearance moved the needle for the babyfaces, who began to rally - but of course the numbers meant that despite the former Women's World champion lending a hand it wasn't too long before the 4-3 advantage swung things back in Hysteria's favor.  It looked like QCW’s resident coven were going to wipe out three of their enemies in one fell swoop when we found out three fun facts about “Night Sky” Diana Spare;

  • (I) She's not your baby (II) If you think she's pretty, you should see her in a crown (III) she does a decent Usain Bolt impersonation.  Spare ran down the ramp and went witch hunting, swinging on her former ex friends Agrippa and Crowley before going after Justine and Bella too.  A full on Pier 8 was on to the joy of the crowd, and their cheers only increased when despite their random assortment the babyfaces began to win the fight.  Soon most of Hysteria found themselves on the floor, leaving Bonnie Agrippa alone to eat some humble pie for once.  Luz got into position and delivered ¡MUERTE!, and the recoil from the double jump poison rana put a limp Agrippa into Spare’s hands, who promptly hoisted Nancy up and drilled her with a Nightfall.  Shelley went to the top rope but before she could fly off with her Fallen Angel splash the rest of Hysteria managed to grab their leader by the legs and pull her out of the ring.  Billie Eilish came on the PA again, allowing us to bask in the rare scene of Hysteria in retreat while Bennett, Cruz, LaVey and Spare smack talked the coven from the higher ground in the ring.

  • Backstage, “Zaddy Longlegs” Cole Grant and “Fahrenheit” Freddie Valsada were complimenting each other on their matching two-tone singlets and sparkly elbow pads before they headed to their first photoshoot.  As they walked through the halls, Dom DeSade and Bob Osterberg intentionally bumped into them and grumbled about the new blood coming into QCW trying to take their spots.  Freddie said “You want to fight about it, darling?” Osterberg scoffed, and was in the middle of saying something else derogatory when Grant punched him in the face.  A Pier 4 broke out that took most of the referee corps to break up, with a couple of them saying to save it for the ring as Ruckus hit the first commercial break of the evening.

  • 2. Glam Squad (Grant/Valsada) d. A World of Pain at 7:15 The next time AWOP wins it’ll be February 30th.  Grant and Valsada’s chemistry from their time limit draw a couple of weeks ago translated well as a team, and after landing a double superkick to wipe out Dom DeSade it was Bob Osterberg who’d get pinned after a double chicken wing and flying bulldog combination.  Post match Steve put over the newcomers as flashy if effective additions to QCW’s deep tag division.

  • From there we went TOTHEBACK~!, where Julius Duquesne III gave the Glam Squad props on their first win in QCW before bringing on his guest: Orion!  The Cosmic Superstar exchanged a handshake with JD3 before the interview got underway and Orion pulled out their translator.  Their phone did the talking, saying that while they had a Hawk to knock out of the sky later (referring to QCW’s resident cowboy Carter), they hadn't forgotten about Malicia and so far as they were concerned they weren't done just yet.  Orion might have lost to her at Cruel Summer but the only loss on Fernandez's record was because of what Orion did at Mayday Payday.  It was written in the stars that there should be a rubber match and Malicía could walk around with the goon squad all she wanted, but in her heart of hearts she knew that Orion was that rubber match away from rescuing the National championship and taking it to heights never seen before.  But until she could take out El Pollo Grande, shooting down Hawk tonight would do.  Orion saluted young Jules and walked off, leaving him to throw things to Duck Eko back in the ring with introductions for the next matchup.

  • As the new look Chosen came down the ramp we saw picture in picture highlights from last week where their new and unwilling recruit Justice faced his (former?) friend “Tiki God” Al Buffett and almost knocking him out with a Busiaku knee, pissing Ashley THEE Influencer Szabo off to no end and leading to some prime Quality Social rants that led her to challenge any two members of the Chosen to face her & Al tonight.  Chosen leader Caleb Gray accepted but also said he wouldn't dream of putting his newest acolyte in the ring with such an emotional woman, instead opting to lean on his first disciple Drake Tremble to quell the Game Changers threat.

  • 3. “The Purifier” Caleb Gray & “the Paragon” Drake Tremble of the Chosen (w/”the Righteous” Justice Davis, the End Times and Goody Gardner) d. The Game Changers at 13:06 Approximately enough it was the Changers who came into this one fired up and pissed off, and that played out in the early moments as they kicked around the Chosen's chosen literally and figuratively.  After they both hit delayed vertical suplexes a pair of assisted Codebreakers had Gray and Tremble scrambling for the floor.  Goody Gardner came around for support while Justice followed a step behind, then jumped up on the apron because he saw the End Times about to interfere.  The referee was busy getting them out of the way, which allowed Caleb and Drake to slip in behind the referee's back and have Tremble punt poor Al right in the little tikis while Gray blindsided Szabo with a high impact cyclone kick.  The Chosen rolled on from there to the point where Ashley wasn't even able to tag out for the rest of the match - if the holy rollers weren't blocking her escape route, they were running around to pull Al off the apron to send him into the stairs or use their numbers advantage on the floor to cause both real and fake distractions alike to keep the ref in circles.  A few minutes later the match ended the way last year's Duquesne Classic did, with Gray pinning Szabo after Repent.  The Chosen celebrated their victory by hitting their usual cross alignment pose post match, a clearly conflicted Davis awkwardly jamming himself into the alignment by standing next to Goody, who smiled as if she had just discovered a fresh $20 bill in her frock.

  • Before we hit commercials, we saw a lengthy Quality Social video package built on highlights from the Razorblade/Naz best of 3 falls World title match at Cruel Summer, interspersed with clips of reactors online losing their minds in real time and posts from X and BlueSky calling it the Match of the Year - some calling it the best match in QCW history, full stop.  After seeing a bunch of reactors and posts asking when they were going to run it back, Steve hyped the fact that the next chapter in this storied rivalry wasn't just going to happen tonight - it was coming up next!

  • We came back from the break to the dulcet tones of “Unscripted Violence” and Razorblade making his way through the crowd before vaulting the barricade and hitting the ring.  The screaming of the Quality Controllers turned from the pop of the night to warnings, but by the time Razorblade turned around it was too late and he was being pounced on Malicía Fernandez and Omar Littlefield.  Seeing what he was up against, Razorblade started swinging for the fences and landed a few good shots, but the numbers and size advantages made themselves known in short order when Omar delivered a Pounce that sent Savage flying into Malicía's goozle so she could deliver a modified version of her Death Warrant finisher.  Ig’s hired goons were busy stomping out a fallen Razorblade when suddenly Nazir el-Fadal showed up and jumped on Malicía's back and started rabbit punching her down to the canvas.  Omar pulled him off of his accomplice but Naz responded with a cross chop to the throat.  el-Fadal quickly got the man who stole the World title away from him into position for a dose of Nazquil but didn't see Malicía coming with an uppercut to the jihads that crumpled Naz on the canvas.  Omar added injury to injury by hitting both Razorblade and Naz with a trifecta of Vader Bombs while they were next to each other on the mat, then picked up Naz and gave him the Face Eraser DDT on Razorblade just to firmly stamp out any hopes of recovery.

  • Quality Force Security came down the ramp to clear a path for Commissioner de Catur to walk to the ring while the Quality Controllers showered boos down on him.  Ig took the mic from Duck and announced that “tragically” since neither Naz or Razorblade could answer a ten count, the #1 contendership match was officially a no contest.  But next week neither Razortrash or The Greatest Prick Alive would get to lay down on the job because on a very special super sized episode of Ruckus, he was forcing blood rivals Razorblade and Naz to team up against his Republic: the National champion Malicía Fernandez and the World champion Omar Littlefield!  The future of QCW vs. Yesterday's News, two athletes who saw the light vs. two fossils who would be cast into the dark, two people who chose Ig’s way against two morons who chose the hard way.  At next week’s Quality Summer Classic, it was going to be batter up at Steinbrenner Field for the champions of QCW, and after that both the pieces of crap that were laid out at his feet would be going, going, GONE!  Ig cackled before tossing the mic aside and raising both Omar and Malicía's hands to nuclear heat from the crowd.  Ghais Guevara's “The Old Guard Is Dead” hit the PA and the Republic eventually left the ring, but not before Ig got in his own stomps on the laid out el-Fadal and Savage.  Steve complained that even if they were 100%, there was no way both sides of QCW’s greatest rivalry could coexist long enough to overcome Ig:s hired goons, and the Commissioner's sick plan for revenge had worked to perfection here tonight.

  • After the last of Quality Force Security had disappeared behind the Tron, we had the actual fourth match on the show.

  • 4. Prince Ootsuka (w/the All Starr Stable) d. “The Fury” Jim Jaspers This on-again off-again rivalry has gone through most of QCW’s modern era and seen each man switch alignments.  Their matches have been mostly 50/50 affairs, which reflects their records against each other - but an early pump knee from Old Jim sent the vainglorious Prince to the floor and he didn't put up much of a fight after clearly getting knocked off balance by the shot.  Jaspers controlled 75% of the match and sensing he was far ahead on points looked to connect with Fury Road.  Ootsuka had enough wherewithal to counter and backdrop Jaspers over the top the floor.  Ootsuka then complained repeatedly to the ref, allowing his cronies to interfere as was clearly the plan should he find himself in this kind of trouble.  “Upper Class” Broderick Palmer II splattered Jim with a barricade bomb and to pile on Evan O'Neill followed up with a spear that sent Jim into the barricade again (and to make things worse for Jim the barricade didn't implode or give at all).  Magically done complaining, Ootsuka rolled out and tossed Jim back into the ring where the Brit managed to kick out at 2¾.  But surviving that put Jaspers in perfect position for the Prince to capitalize with Bow Down, choking Jim out with a cobra clutch while wrapping him up with a body scissors so he couldn't make it to the ropes.  Jim didn't tap out but after a few seconds went limp and the zebra had to call for the bell.

  • The Stable being the Stable, they decided the best way to celebrate their shady victory was by putting the boots to a barely conscious Jaspers.  The three on one stomping continued until some unfamiliar music hit the PA.  The crowd tittered then cheered as “the Proper King” Richard Windsor came back on the scene for the first time since Omar made him a meme at Extreme Never Dies.  Windsor took in the scene and a few beats before walking down the ramp; despite having the numbers in their favor, the Stable bailed as Richard hit the ring scowling all the while.  Jaspers used the ropes and smiled seeing his partner come in for the save while Steve enthused on commentary that the Proper Villains were back in business!

  • We went backstage where Naomi Lee was standing by and brought out as her guests Jane Doe and Cindy Monet - Science Fiction Double Feature.  Nao tried to ask them a question about their losing streak and Cindy was a little testy in response, saying they’d gotten sneak attacked in singles because the haters couldn't handle them together.  But she was issuing the challenge for next week: the new International Lotus against Science Fiction Double Feature, no running, no hiding, no cheap shots, just squabble up and see who's better than who.  Naomi said that was all well and good, but went back to the question at hand. People wanted to know why the new look Lotus should be afraid of this challenge if SciFi themselves and Collipark as a whole couldn't buy a win recently for love or money?  Cindy looked furious, then sad, then a little crazy before composing herself and saying “Sooner or later, this losing BS is going to come to an end.  And that sooner is next week, so Fiona and Sohla better get their raggedy asses ready.” Jane leaned in and had way more excitement in her voice than usual when she said “Their posteriors are substandard and we will prove our human abilities to be of a higher level!” After Cindy added “Collipark ‘til I die.” she and Jane walked off, leaving Naomi to cue up the last commercial break.

  • 5. Orion d. Hawk Carter at 8:23 Despite their focus on Malicía Fernandez and the size discrepancy against Carter, this wasn't a trap game but rather a showcase match for Orion.  Even Carter's attempt to take things to the floor and make things a brawl failed when Orion dodged his signature lariat and hit him with a satellite DDT on the outside.  Hawk managed to crawl back in the ring at 9 but got a Shining Wizard and Orion's Nebula for his troubles to wrap things up.

  • Next week’s Ruckus is the super sized Quality Summer Classic - limited commercial interruptions for us at home, a bonus half hour for run time and coming live from Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, home of the Rays.  Big matches?  You know it, all of which come as a result of events earlier in the show: the new International Lotus will face off against Science Fiction Double Feature 💫 a massive eight woman tag will see the women of Hysteria go against “Explosive” Emily Bennett, Shelley LaVey, their former leader Luz Cruz and the Women's World champion “Night Sky” Diana Spare 💫💫 And the main event will be something that was unthinkable even a month ago - the years long rivals Nazir el-Fadal and Mason “Razorblade” Savage will come together and face off against the Commissioner’s hired guns of the National champion Malicía Fernandez and the World champion Omar Littlefield.  But that's next week’s main event and this week’s main event is right now…

  • 6. Pyotr Caviar (w/Serge Batroc) d. Jacques Krieger (w/Ashok Banjerjee) at 12:51 With the Naz/Razorblade match being a scheme set up by a scheming Commissioner Ig, he moved this hoss fight into headlining status.  Curious.  Before the match started Krieger removed his long black duster to reveal kinesio tape on his left arm and shoulder, and once he got control Caviar made sure to focus his attacks on those areas.  Steve mentioned Krieger barely got cleared for the match after taking an Omar sized beating at Cruel Summer, but Jacques being Jacques he wanted the fight.   However, not a minute after that Pyotr leveled Krieger with a pop up European uppercut that eventually made Krieger dissolve to the floor on the recoil.  The burly Russian was more than content to let Krieger get counted out but saw Jacques slowly trying to get back into the ring at 8.  Thinking quickly, Krieger let Caviar get close before snapping the top rope into his neck.  To add injury to injury, Krieger then caught Caviar flush with a shotei that you could hear in Ig’s skybox before starting to give back just as good as he got.  Jacques finally got Caviar off his feet a minute later with a trifecta of pump knees, but Caviar still managed to kick out late.  Krieger shocked then popped the crowd by hitting a second rope flying lariat before calling for the end but when he went for the Jacqueshammer, Caviar banged away on the injured arm before throwing that shoulder into the ringpost.  Krieger got wiped out by a running crossbody and that was the beginning of the end for the New Jerseyite, who ate Pyotr's trademark Hit My Music and found himself counting the Quality Arena lights.

  • After replays, we saw Serge shove the ref aside so he could raise his protege’s arm himself - but the last scenes we saw before Ruckus went off the air were Ig clapping wildly from his skybox while Malicía and Omar flanked him looking on impassively.  Were you so inclined, you could even say Ig had the same grin he’d had in the pre tape that kicked off the show.  Curious.

FDSN Florida Presents QCW Ruckus [s4e36 • August 1st, 2025]

📺 live on FanDuel Sports Network Florida

📍 Quality Arena in Parts Unknown, FL

  • A video package opened the show recapping the big events from last week, most notably Ig crowing about having the World and National championships in his personal army and Naz landing a Greetings From Hayt Corner shot on Omar Littlefield before fleeing through the crowd.  It ended with a voiceover asking what would happen next on the road to AnniVersary in September…

  • Standard open rolled from there, and once we were inside a rocking Quality Arena, Steve Vandeblanche hyped up the Omar vs. Ashok World championship match main eventing tonight's show before throwing things to Duck Eko in the ring.  The Voice of QCW made the introductions for the opener.

  • 1.  “Her Excellency” Fiona Fogg d. Jane Doe (w/Cindy Monet) at 8:32 via submission Last week Fogg beat up Doe while she was at ringside, leading to a Monet loss.  Even with her technical skills, Fogg couldn't solve the puzzle of Doe’s unorthodox offense in the opening moments of the bout and found herself on the outside cursing and cooling her heels.  Doe sat on the middle rope to allow Fiona back into the ring, a mistake Her Excellency capitalized on with a cheap shot followed by a vicious neckbreaker across the apron that left the ATLien in a crumpled heap on the floor.  With a target acquired, the increasingly haughty Fogg emptied her offensive clip to target Jane’s neck and hit her marks far more often than not.  Doe managed a brief comeback but Fogg shut it down with a tornado reverse DDT.  Shortly thereafter, Fogg landed her Crowning Achievement combination and Doe limply tapped out to the Koji Clutch.

  • But Fogg didn't let go of the hold after getting the win, which drew Monet into the ring to forcibly drag Fiona off of her tag partner.  Fogg acted like she was cowed but it was a ruse as Sohla Patel slid into the ring and laid out Cindy from behind.  The black hats stomped Science Fiction Double Feature down before Sohla demanded the mic from Duck.  Patel proudly declared that after months of being forced to sit through losers like Cindy and Jane, the Sohla Search was over.  She asked the crowd to raise their ugly faces up and gaze up on the newest face of International Lotus: “Her Excellency” Fiona Fogg!  They raised each other's hands like they were running for office while the crowd jeered before leaving SFDF laid out in the ring.

  • Ahead of the night's first commercial break, Muse’s “New Born” brought out the perennially loved Game Changers to their usually good reaction - the Tiki God looks to put a W in aloha up next…

  • 2. “the Righteous” Justice Davis (w/the Chosen) d. “Tiki God” Al Buffett (w/Ashley “THEE Influencer” Szabo) at 7:05 This is Davis’ first match since being forced to join up with the Chosen, and as they came out a picture in picture showed some of JD’s “rebirth ceremony” last week that looked closer to low level waterboarding than a baptism.  It was little surprise then that Al would be the one to come out of the gates hot, using his surprising strength to throw JD across the ring several times with suplexes.  A few minutes in, Al scored with a running Codebreaker that sent Davis through the middle and bottom ropes on the recoil.  The Chosen swarmed around the new recruit, only for Goody to scream “Run!” a couple of seconds later; a second and a half after that Justice pulled a matador move and Al’s tope suicida met nothing but the dividing barrier much to the concern of Ashley from around the corner and relief from the current Duquesne Cup holder.  The Chosen again closed ranks but as Ashley was coming around to that side of the ring Justice waved everybody down and got Al back in the ring.  Justice didn't fight unfairly but a lot of his offense caught Al on the head or the neck, leading to applause and cheers from the Chosen.  Al managed a brief rally, but when he went for Inner Strength a wild Goody Gardner appeared.  That got Ashley up on the apron opposite and it looked like Drake Tremble was rolling into the ring…needless to say all these distractions distracted Al, and JD caught the Tiki God with an avalanche armdrag that sent him ¾ths of the way across the ring while Tremble rolled out.  Al staggered to his feet only to eat a weapons grade Busiaku knee that put him down for three.

  • After replays, we saw Ashley protectively over a still laid out and barely moving Al.  Davis started to go over to check on Buffett when the Chosen hit the ring and swarmed Davis in joy - Drake making sure Ashley heard it when he complimented Justice on knocking Al out.  The End Times held the ropes open and after a few beats JD reluctantly left with the group; Goody Gardner was talking up Justice even more than Drake was all the way to the back.  By that time a semi recovered Al was watching the proceedings while leaning on the top rope holding his jaw.  The scowl on Ashley's face almost blinded someone in the seventeenth row.

  • Once the Game Changers cleared out “you should see me in a crown” by Billie Eilish brought out “Night Sky” Diana Spare to a big pop from the Quality Controllers.  The Women's World champion was heading to the ring to cut a promo but she couldn't get off a word before she was jumped from behind by Beast Mode.  Spare fought against “These Hands” Roy Fade and “Dashing” Pierce Moore but the numbers advantage held up especially after they lawn darted her into the retaining wall.  Music kicked back on and this time it was “Paint the Town Red” by Doja Cat, allowing Lolo Vuitton to strut down the ramp like it was a runway before getting a running start and hitting a modified Bloody Shoe on Spare that sent The Champ flying into the stairs.  After some smack talk Vuitton asked her squad to put her up on their manly shoulders and they headed to the back in that formation while the medical team came to check on Spare.

  • 3. Bonnie Agrippa and Nancy Crowley of Hysteria (w/Justine Danek and Bella Jolie) d. “Swamp Pride” Ted Holland and Robert E. Moonshine at 5:10 in a non titles match The World Tag Team champions kept themselves in fighting shape by easily disposing of the wild eyed Southern boys.  Justine and Bella didn't even need to interfere in the romp that ended after a spike brainbuster and Nancy pinning Moonshine.  After the match, with Hysteria behind her Agtippa held up her title to a camera and had a very simple message for anyone listening: “Best.  Tag team.  In the world.” Agrippa snapped her fingers to kill the lights; when they came back on Hysteria had disappeared in the darkness as they love to do.   Ruckus went to commercials after that.

  • We came back from the break to Steve at the desk, who mentioned he was being beamed live throughout Quality Arena given that he was about to do a split screen satellite interview with the One Man Jihad, Nazir el-Fadal!  Big cheers accompanied Naz popping up on screen apparently live from Atlanta at his house, and a clearly seething el-Fadal sort of waved down the cheers before Steve started.  Vandeblanche couldn't get a full question in before Naz went off, saying he was a former three-time World champion that’d somehow never clearly lost that belt once, and it took less and less time each time for some 6F (that's a swear) to steal it away from him.  After two years of trying, he not only got back the World title but he beat the unbeatable Razorblade twice in one night in an instant classic that wasn't just going to win Match of the Year, it was going to go down in history as the best match QCW had ever or will ever see.  And minutes later because he wouldn't tapdance for a douchelord nepo baby, it got stolen away from him by a man who - last time Naz had seen him - was getting driven off in an ambulance that Naz had put him in back in the spring.  So if his prior acts of revenge were tossing the belt at AnIIversary the moment he got it back and living up to every promise he made by winning 2-1 at Cruel Summer, then the Republic didn't really get just how far he was willing to go to get his revenge on them.  He’d find some way to get Ig kicked out of his ivory tower and once that happened he’d get his rematch and male history as the first ever four time QCW World champion.  Ig may have been able to make him stay home tonight, but all he could do was keep his head on a swivel a while longer before Naz knocked it off his twerpy shoulders.  He’d run Malicia back to Mexico if he had to - he’d get Omar locked up all over again if he had to - and Ig wouldn't just get run out of QCW, he’d be begging for pocket change on a street corner before this jihad season had come to an end.  And then they would learn the hard way that time in QCW ran off of his Richard Mille because he wasn't some corporatized sellout or even above average, neh!  He was Nazir el-Fadal, the Greatest Man Alive…and now he was out for even more blood.  Naz’s part of the convo blipped off to cheers from the Quality Controllers that only died down when Duck Eko returned to the ring to make the intros for the next match.

  • 4. Luz Cruz d. Bettie Rokker (w/Val Curry) at 6:11 A bounce back showcase win for Cruz after she narrowly lost in her bid to win the Women's World championship at Cruel Summer a couple of Sundays ago.  Luz shut Bettie up with a dropkick you could hang in the Louvre and ended things with her double jump poison rana to get the duke.

  • At the desk afterwards, Steve said that thanks to another of Commissioner de Catur’s deals, QCW had received financial and promotional considerations to air the following; it turned out to be a decently sized sizzle reel of Catch Hell Wrestling League’s (QCW’s sister company based in the UK) tag team champions the Undaunted.  Proud Irishmen Tim “the Only Hope” McMurray and “Unforgettable” Dave Mullin made friends in a Malahide grade school over their love of wrestling, started training together at age 15 and went from skinny jamokes to slightly heavier and more importantly tag team champions who’ve won Europe over with their high flying ways and regular bloke mentality on the mic.  Some have even called Tim and Dave the best tag team in the world.  They're not gonna call themselves that – but if the compliment fits - well, there's the rest of the pack.  But some remain Undaunted.

  • 5. Beast Mode (w/Lolo Vuitton) d. The International Players (w/Science Fiction Double Feature) at 8:25 This was a rematch from Cruel Summer’s preshow that got a few more chilies thrown in the pot last week when Mode jumped Collipark in the back last week after a Cindy Monet loss.  But despite an auspicious beginning like Jane Doe enjoyed in the opener, things began to curdle when they got suckered into a Pier 4 on the floor and lost it decisively due to Mode’s willingness to fight dirty and “These Hands” Roy Fade’s Golden Glove level fists.  Right before a commercial break, Benjamin Valentino ate a double flapjack that sent him bouncing off the facade of the announce table and Beast Mode spent the rest of the match isolating him and breaking him down.  Lucius Patton couldn't make the save after Valentino ate a Dashing Decision that gave Mode another W that they celebrated post match, leaving an increasingly despondent Collipark trying to put the pieces together post match.

  • A cut to the Commissioner's skybox showed him sneering that Collipark was lucky that he didn't fire the rest of them too before telling Quality Force Security to go down to ringside and flank Omar so that there wasn't a repeat of last week's incident with Naz.  He also made sure to remind them to check under the ring – you know, for “safety reasons” and put in an order to get champagne delivered to the skybox after Omar retained the Fifteen Pounds of Gold.

  • A vignette aired announcing that coming soon to QCW’s shores would be Jonathan Livingston Clipper Esq, a man who can handle a sailboat and doesn't think Sherlock Holmes when Baker Street comes up in conversation.   JLCE will be seeing us oh so very soon.

  • Ahead of the World title defense in tonight's main event, Steve hyped up three big matches that'll happen on 💫 next week's Ruckus 💫: two heavyweights are going to be throwing bombs when Pyotr Caviar faces off against Jacques Krieger | longtime rivals “the Fury” Jim Jaspers and Prince Ootsuka will meet in another hard hitting fight | and Caleb Gray and Drake Tremble of the Chosen will face off against the Game Changers

  • But those are next week's bouts, and the one for the World title is happening now…

  • 6. Omar Littlefield [c, w/Malicía Fernandez and Quality Force Security] d. Ashok Banjerjee (w/Jacques Krieger) to retain the QCW World championship at 9:54 Of note before the match: (1) Krieger was out in a neck brace after the beating Omar put on him at Cruel Summer and (2) despite being flanked by Malicía and QFS, Littlefield still had a decent sized bandage on his forehead from where Naz had buried Greetings From Hayt Corner at the end of last weeks show.  After the introductions were made things got underway with Ashok playing David to Omar's Goliath, landing brief flurries of offense before quickly getting out of Omar's wingspan.  Like most things in life, this worked until it didn't when The Champ caught Ashok springboarding off the middle rope at him and responded with a sit out two handed choke bomb that Steve said rattled his teeth at the desk.  Omar showed off his power moves and sadism from there for a few minutes until a basement dropkick to his knee sent him flying face first into the middle turnbuckle and gave Ashok a little bit of daylight to operate in.  Banjerjee emptied a barrage of European uppercuts until Omar wobbled, then hit a springboard one that out Littlefield down to a knee.  Ashok hit the ropes and landed a Destroyer DDT – and Omar stood up, glared, and gave him a lariat that almost put poor Ashok’s head in Ig’s skybox.  What little remained of the match was one way traffic for Omar, who deigned to end things after four straight Vader Bombs and his signature Face Eraser.  As he did at Cruel Summer, Omar pinned his victim with his boot on their chest and demanded the ref count to five.

  • Replays of Omar splattering Ashok all over the joint played and when they were done, Omar dipped the Fifteen Pounds of Gold from the ref’s hands and held it aloft, barking that he would do the same to anybody fool enough to get in the ring with him.  Malicía held up her National championship in kind while QFS surrounded the ring.  Up in the skybox, we saw Ig applauding watching his pet monster retain the QCW World title, clapping that only stopped with a knock on the door and a voice saying “Champagne delivery!”. Ig turned and opened the door to let in the NPC, but when he swung it open he got greeted by main character energy and Mason Razorblade Savage with a bottle of Veuve Clicquot in his head.  “HERE’S your champagne, (monkey farmer)!”  Razorblade smashed de Catur right over the head with the bottle and Commissioner Ig went down in a heap, and to add insult to injury Savage grabbed de Catur by the lapels and threw him out of the skybox; de Catur was forced to hang on by both hands.  Razorblade leaned over and menacingly hissed “The only reason you're leaving the Arena in one piece is because you owe me something, rich boy, and I’m damn sure going to collect.  And unlike this lesson, you're not going to leave me hanging.” Razorblade turned away from Ig’s desperate cries for help and kicked the door of the skybox open on his way out so hard it came off its hinges.  Ig’s cries for help only got drowned out by Steve gleefully saying “Sorry to end things on an Ighamger, but we’ll see you next Friday night when QCW continues to bring the Ruckus!”
