FDSN Florida Presents QCW Ruckus [s4e41 • September 19th, 2025]

📺 live on FanDuel Sports Network Florida

📍 Quality Arena in Parts Unknown, FL

  • Last Week On Ruckus: Malicía/Orion III for the National championship featured the highest of highs (Orion coming back from getting the brakes beat off of them to perfectly time an inside cradle and apparently win the belt) and the lowest of lows (Omar Littlefield smashed up the title before he, Ig de Catur and the rest of the Republic retreated with what was left of the belt saying that the win didn't happen and he would never recognize Orion as the National champion)

  • The normal opening began to roll but got cut off halfway through, as we had to go to the ring where Ig and the rest of the Republic were in or around it ahead of his face to face summit with Scott Holmes.  Ig was between the ropes, saying that just as easily as he shut down and took over the opening, the Republic would make his hostile takeover official after LockUp at AnniVersary.  Who would stop him?  Razorblade?  Pyotr would take care of him in the main event and give the Republic the team advantage inside his LockUp next Sunday.  Nazir el-Fadal?  The only thing that man would team with was a picture of himself.  He was a lost cause and would cause his side to lose. And Orion?!  Well, maybe the referee and all the Ig haters had missed it, but he saw Orion have a handful of tights AND Razorblade holding down Malicía's legs (neither of which actually happened, but, yunno, Ig logic) so he couldn't let that miscarriage of justice stand and took it upon himself to have his associate Mr. Littlefield destroy the belt.  There wouldn't even be a National Championship for QCW to have around were it not for him, and it had already been sullied by Razorblade enough this year.  But by someone he couldn't even Google?!  That was the last straw.  He wouldn't let his intellectual property be defamed like that and once the Republic took over after AnniVersary, Malicía would be reinstated as the National champion and any trace of Orion - or Razorblade, or the One Man Clown Show, for that matter - would be erased from the QCW history books and there was no one who would stop Ig or the Republic from seizing the reins of QCW.

  • Soundgarden's “My Wave” cut off Ig’s rant before it could get any further and brought out Scott Holmes to waves of applause from the Quality Controllers.  Despite literally being outnumbered 10:1, it didn't stop Holmes from getting into the ring and getting into Ig's face.  Holmes said that Ig might be able to hide the National championship behind his lawyers for a couple of weeks, and maybe the people he had lined up would fall to Ig’s goon squad but win or lose de Catur had to understand one thing - he would never have the reins of QCW.  QCW would always belong to the people who supported it like him instead of vultures like Ig who bought something trendy without building it themselves.  The crowd cheered but Holmes talked through it, saying that he had such faith in QCW that he was willing to send some of QCW’s best into Ig’s torture chamber to fight for it and win it back; he put over Orion’s dominance in their first year at QCW, and Naz and Razorblade being half of QCW’s all time Mt. Rushmore.  Ig looked thoughtful for a few beats, then sneered “Too bad none of them are here right now” right before Pyotr surged forward and wiped Holmes out with a Russian sickle, shocking the crowd who began jeering him roundly.  Ig cackled through the noise, saying there would only be 9 days until the old QCW would be dead and gone for good, and it was all for the better because long live the Republic, that's why!  Referees and the medical staff came out while Ghais Guevara played the Embassy out.  .As Steve and Carl ran down Pyotr for his actions and Ig for his words, you could see Holmes using the ropes to pull himself up.  Refs and the medical staff checked on Scott, who took a minute before walking off under his own power while holding the back of his neck.

  • Vandeblanche and Christensen welcomed us to the show and put over the Caviar/Razorblade team advantage match for tonight's main event as well as the #1 contendership match between former Women's World champions Luz Cruz and Lolo Vuitton as they both try to regain the Fifteen Pounds of Gold before throwing things to Duck Eko in the ring, as the Voice of QCW made the introductions for tonight's opener…

  • 1. Jonathan Livingston Clipper Esq. d. “Dashing” Pierce Moore (w/Beast Mode) at 7:25 Debut of the sultan of smooth sailing, Clipper Esq. up against a former champion in Moore.  Pierce clearly didn't take JLCE seriously early on until Jon rolled out of the ring and commandeered the mic from Duck Eko and got approval from the fans by suggesting he was a little bit more Dashing than Pierce was.  That infuriated the vain Moore, who then proceeded to walk into some judo throws and open handed palm strikes as the crowd got behind Clipper.  It took a timely distraction from Lolo Vuitton a few beats later to allow a window for Moore to land a blindside cheap shot and start going to work, firmly pushing things onto his side of the ledger when he fended off a facebuster attempt and countered with Lolo’s signature buckle bomb.  After driving the air out of Clipper and playing with his food for a couple more minutes, Moore called for the end and set up for his Fresh To Death cutter but got distracted by the sudden arrivals in a skybox of Sky's the Limit along with some members of Quality Force Security.  Moore and the rest of Mode started taunting Limit, challenging them to come down and fight them after what had gone down last week when Mode had laid them out.  While that was playing out, Clipper suddenly rolled Pierce up…but Moore kicked out a little bit after 2.  Both men were up but JLCE shot out with a shotei looking strike right in the kidney before underhooking Moore and laying him out with a sudden Wing Clipper that got him his first win in QCW and had the rest of Beast Mode losing their minds on the floor.  Clipper scrambled out of the ring as “These Hands” Roy Fade and Lolo Vuitton hit it, shaking the referee’s hand after getting it raised and backing his way up the ramp.

  • We went from the ramp to a skybox, where Naomi Lee started to interview Sky's the Limit.  Theoretically she was there to interview all four of them but Tre Boyd took it over and made sure to clown Moore for losing to Hall or Oates or onenadem.  He said he wanted to get their hands on Mode after they jumped them from behind last week, but instead he went to Scotty Boy Holmes and cut a deal: they wouldn't get physically involved in Beast Mode matches tonight and would chill up here in the VIP…so long as come AnniVersary, he and Kam could get their get back on Bitch Made.  When Naomi pointed out while stifling a laugh that they were called Beast Mode, Boyd said the Gospel had to call it like he saw it.  Once they put those boys in the rearview, it wasn't like he forgot - he was still coming for the National championship no matter who had it, because they were just keeping it warm for him.  He had another laugh at Beast Mode’s expense right before Naomi teed up the first commercial break of the evening.

  • 2. “The Purifier” Caleb Gray and “the Righteous” Justice Davis (w/the Chosen) d. The International Players at 6:42 Another sadly listless loss for the former champion Players, as has been the case for the last few months.  This was the first time old rivals Gray and JD had teamed in traditional tag action but the last two winners of the Duquesne Cup got along well enough, save the end where Gray demanded the tag after JD had laid out Benjamin Valentino with his Busiaku knee.  Justice stewed for a few beats before making said tag, allowing Gray to add an unnecessary Deliverance and get the pin.  Justice seemed ready to back him up but Lucius Patton didn't even try to break up the fall.

  • While Caleb and Justice got their hands raised, the End Times and Drake Tremble hit the ring to pile on and stomp out Benjamin.  This finally seemed to get Patton out of his stupor, but things turned into a 4 on 2 when Caleb helped while Justice looked conflicted about what was happening.  Interestingly enough, Goody Gardner didn't look super enthused about what was going down either.  Suddenly a man in a hoodie jumped in the ring and began pulling the Chosen off and when Drake Tremble stepped to him, “the Paragon” blocked a Superman punch with his face.  The hood slid off his shoulders…to reveal JUPITER JONES.

  • …well, then!

  • The Quality Controllers went nuckfuts as the sudden reemergence of the QCW legend Ig de Catur fired back in the spring took the whole Arena by surprise.  And it wasn't like there was only one Bolt From Olympus in the chamber, as both members of the End Times went for a double team maneuver on Jones only for both Danny Castle and Dr. Martin Williams to eat Bolts themselves.  Jones turned his sights towards victim #4 but when he went to drop Caleb Gray with one, “the Purifier” pulled Justice in its path and bailed out of the ring as Davis ate it and went down in a heap.  Caleb looked rattled on the floor as he went “to protect Goody” as the crowd roared, but as Jupiter went to pull up his students the Players the reaction turned 180° as Quality Force Security hit the scene.  Jones had some words of encouragement for his boys before QFS removed him from the ring, and Jones put up no resistance on his way to the back.  Caleb and Goody steered clear as the purple shirts led Jupiter up the ramp and out of the building, the chants of “WE WANT JUPITER!” echoing loud and proud from the capacity crowd for at least a full minute straight.

  • Steve and Carl were plenty agog at the desk over Jones’ save having not seen him in months before eventually throwing to a highlight package centered on last year's AnnIVersary show, which somehow feels like it happened in the Paleolithic Era: Caleb Gray beat Ashok Banjerjee in a title unification match to entrench the National and admitted to setting the Black Friday ‘23 fire of Quality Arena in a moment that would officially birth and name the Chosen 💫 Nazir el-Fadal cheated to beat Autumn Powers in a #1 contendership match to force her to leave town (will we ever see her again? It's her time of year and everything) 💫 Luz Cruz shockingly turned heel in an eight woman tag to reveal herself as the leader of Hysteria (like most things in life, that worked until it didn't) 💫 and Razorblade became the first person in QCW to pin Omar Littlefield after a bloody street fight to end his first reign of terror and win the World title.  Babyfaces came out to celebrate, then Commissioner Holmes handed him a new and unscarred title belt; a beautiful moment ruined by Naz coming out to sarcastically golf clap at the proceedings.  The subsequent face to face staredown to end the show would kick off a series of events that led to last year’s ¡lucha muerte! World championship match at Dia de los Muertos the next month that won nearly universal acclaim as QCW’s 2024 Match of the Year.

  • 3. Lolo Vuitton (w/Beast Mode) d. Luz Cruz at 9:29 to become the #1 contender to the Women's World championship Vuitton kept up her winning ways in this battle of former Women's World champions and will now get to face “Night Sky” Diana Spare at AnniVersary for the Fifteen Pounds of Gold as a result.

  • It was a coin flip in the early moments, both women pulling out multiple counters to the other's offense before Vuitton got a shady upper hand by barrel rolling into Cruz.  Luz tried to retreat into a corner to recover but Lolo hit a flurry of chops and then body blows before dismissively sweeping Cruz’s legs out from under her to set up a facewash that almost sent Lolo’s designer wrestling boots into the camera.  As Lolo began to take over the fight, a cut to backstage showed Spare watching on a monitor; her face didn't give away any rooting interest but crackled with her trademark intensity.  Lolo continued chaining together offense and even cribbed a high altitude dropkick from the Cruz playbook for a nearfall.  Lolo went after Cruz and earned a solid upper hand with a couple of minutes of hard work, snuffing a brief La Reina rally with a powerbomb followed by a buckle bomb.  Lolo came around to end it with a Bloody Shoe only for Luz to catch her coming in with a Stun Gun.  Cruz followed up by flying off the second rope to take Lolo down with a huracanrana.  Keeping the pressure on, Cruz hit a massive dropkick that sent Vuitton out between the ropes and spilling to the floor.  Luz got her motor revving before wiping out Vuitton with a step up tope con hilo.

  • With things in her favor now, once she recovered from the dive she tossed Lolo back in the ring and went to work, wearing Lolo down and hitting a nice dragon whip kick that got a nearfall.  Luz went for a Gory Especial neckbreaker late but Lolo looked like she would be able to reverse it into a poison rana until Cruz powered up and delivered a sort of hybrid buckle bomb and inverted Alabama Slam that looked like a back alley dental exam and sent Vuitton reeling out of the corner.  Luz made the sign of the cross behind Vuitton’s back and went up to deliver ¡MUERTE! but when she went for the second part of her double jump poison rana, Lolo shoved her and sent her face first into the steel connectors between the ringpost and the turnbuckles.  Cruz fell back in the ring looking like a pile of dirty laundry and had to use the ropes to pull herself up in the corner; it took maybe a second and a half after she did for Lolo to connect on a vicious Bloody Shoe to win the match and punch her ticket to AnniVersary.  As the referee checked on a slightly bleeding Cruz, Vuitton hit some buckles and celebrated, saying loudly it was only a matter of time until title #4 came home to her.  A chyron came up for the Spare/Vuitton Women's World championship match to come a couple of Sundays away at AnniVersary before FDSN Florida fired up some commercials.

  • 4. Glam Squad d. Glory Days at 5:37. Our return from the break began with a showcase match for the newly formed Squad, who bonded over a shared interest in being mean zaddies to their haters and looking fabubu while doing it.  The “Whoa, Bundy!”s didn't put up too much of a fight before Cliff Foster went down to a double chickenwing x flying bulldog combination they call Too Damn Glam and “Fahrenheit” Freddie Valsada secured the win.  The announce pointed out their continued success and wondered if they could keep it up long enough for them to angle their way into titles shot contention…right before the lights flickered in QA and a simple two word message began flashing on the Qualitron 9004:

  • t a r g 3 t s  a c q u 1 r e d

  • And just like that, w @ s t 3 l a n d e r s attacked Freddie and Cole Grant from behind after running in from the crowd.  They put up a decent fight but the fresher heels won and laid them both out with their Wasted finisher.  The Quality Controllers showered them with boos but it's not as if f @ l l 0 u t or m 3 l t d 0 w n have ever cared about that sort of thing, and they stomped off to the back the moment some of the referee corps hit the scene having made their point.

  • Before the break we took a trip in the wayback machine, as On This Date In QCW History in 1956 “the Iron Irishman” Paddy O’Grady won a one night tournament to become the first ever QCW (eventually World) champion, besting Guiseppi “the Modern Day Caesar” Giuliani in a best of 3 falls final that went nearly an hour and a half before he won.  Pretty dope to see the old footage get digitized and Ruckus rolled on after the break.

  • 5. Bonnie Agrippa & Nancy Crowley of Hysteria (w/Justine Danek & Bella Jolie) d. The Wonderful Ward Brothers (w/Anton Stahl) at 9:06 in a non-titles match Out to make a statement now that the champions vs. champions match for the QCW World Tag Team championships is official for AnniVersary, Bonnie and Nancy not only showed why they were the current champs and the Wards were former champs, they seemed to ratchet up their already sadistic glee a level against the Canadians.  Jason and Rich weren't as pretty once this one was over while both Agrippa and Crowley were loud enough to be heard without mics that this was what was in store for the Undaunted when they tried to take their belts from them come next Sunday.  While it wasn't an outright squash, Hysteria easily controlled >70% of the match and put things to rest with their trademark spike brainbuster, Crowley hooking both of Rich’s legs on the winning pinfall.  The champs showed off their belts and yelled “BEST.  TAG TEAM.  IN THE WORLD!” before disappearing in their usual temporary blackout bit.

  • 💫 Next week’s Ruckus 💫 is the last one before the biggest show in company history and we’ll see not only a preview of AnniVersary | but in a preview intergender trios match, Beast Mode will go up against the Cooper Brothers from Sky's the Limit and the Women's World champion “Night Sky” Diana Spare | and the main event will see Nazir el-Fadal and Orion team up for the first time to face off against the Republic in the World champion Omar Littlefield and Malicía Fernandez

  • With the four of them engaged next week, it left two men to fight over which side would walk into LockUp at AnniVersary with the advantage.

  • 6. Pyotr Caviar (w/Ig de Catur, the Republic and Republic Enforcement) d. Mason “Razorblade” Savage (w/Orion) at 15:25 in a team advantage match Unfortunately for all decent minded people, Caviar used a little help from his new friends to secure victory; the Republic now have secured the upper hand at AnniVersary.  As you might expect given the participants, this was less catch as catch can and more catch this fist with your face.  The bout began with both men throwing haymakers that connected more often than not, a slugfest that took a couple of minutes to go Caviar’s way.  Once it did, however, it happened in a flash: Razorblade ducked too soon when he was maybe looking for a spinebuster, and Caviar booted him up before enveloping him with a running crossbody.  The bigger Caviar played bully ball for the next couple of minutes, and every time it looked like Razorblade would about to be getting out from under Caviar would once again target the midsection or in one impressive counter floor Savage with a pop up European uppercut that got him 2⅔.  Ig barked marching orders at Pyotr, who hit consecutive rolling gutwrench suplexes before putting the former World champion in a bearhug.  Orion rallied the crowd behind Razorblade (they didn't need much prompting for that) and Savage began showing off his steadfast fighting spirit, rocking Pyotr with a series of bell claps to get free.  The newest member of the Republic tried to drop Savage with another running crossbody, but this time Mason not only caught him but managed to power him over with a ring rattling fallaway slam.

  • With both men down we got a couple of replays of Razorblade's feat of strength.  Both men got to their feet at nearly the same time but it was Savage who was quicker on the draw, landing a Cactus clothesline that sent both men over the top rope - but he landed sitting on the apron while Caviar hit the floor.  As de Catur was yelling at Pyotr to shake it off, Razorblade was busy going to the second rope before flying off with a crossbody of his own that sent both of them through the announce table to the massive shock of everyone in QA.  As that wore off and gave way to “Holy shit!” chants, replays fired off without commentary.  The referee looked for a long while as if they were going to be ruling over a double countout, but Razorblade eventually got out of the wreckage and rolled in at 8.  Caviar was right behind him and almost stumbled towards Ig, who pointed him to the ring so that he could get in at 9 ⅞ to save the match.  Razorblade hit the ropes once he confirmed Pyotr had beat the count, then hit the ropes behind Caviar.  The Tracksuit Tsar went for a Russian sickle that Savage ducked so he could hit a third set of ropes before coming off with a massive lariat of his own that sent the massive Russian corkscrewing through the air before splattering on the mat.  Razorblade got a cover and hooked both legs but Pyotr still managed to kick out at 2¾.

  • Now with momentum on his side, Razorblade emptied the offensive tanks to try and keep Pyotr down for three: he snuffed out a pop up European uppercut and hit a double arm DDT, then quickly followed it up with another - but Pyotr kicked out late again.  Ig tried to get involved but Razorblade scared him off the apron; this distraction allowed Caviar to hit a Russian sickle but Razorblade didn't go down.  Instead, he fell back into the ropes before bull rushing Pyotr and planting him with a spinebuster.  Both men were down for a few beats before Savage was able to flop on him with a lateral press…but at 2.9 Caviar snaked his adidas onto the bottom rope much to the relief of the Republic.  It looked like a barely recovering Caviar was trying to get out of the ring but it turned out to be a ruse so he could snap the top rope into Savage's neck and buy himself some much needed time.  Caviar charged in with another try at a running crossbody but Razorblade countered it with a big boot to the jaw.  Caviar began to fall on him but Mason got low and slowly began to power Caviar up.  His legs began to wobble a bit before he let out a yell of his own then powered Pyotr up and dropped him with a Death Valley Driver that had Steve and Carl freaking out behind the shards of the announce table.  Razorblade used Pyotr’s fallen body to help himself get vertical, then pointed to the corner and made a throat slash gesture.  Savage dragged Caviar towards the ropes and began to set up the Soul Crusher…right before Omar and Malicía bum rushed Orion and started cheap shotting the Cosmic Superstar.  Razorblade's head pivoted towards the fight on the floor right before “So Be It” from Clipse hit the PA.

  • Nazir el-Fadal not only parted the Qualitron 9004, he came armed with a steel chair.  REnforcement came up the ramp to try and stop the One Man Jihad but he started swinging like Ohtani and the blue shirts starting going down like Mary J.  Naz was trying to make his way towards Orion as the referee focused on the fight on the floor, saying they couldn't bring that to the ring - and missed Ig on the other side of the floor tossing up a fountain pen to Pyotr, who immediately jabbed it into Razorblade's forehead before the zebra could turn around.  On the floor Malicía and Orion were throwing hands against each other just like Omar and Naz were but in the ring, Caviar not only slipped free from the Soul Crusher after the pen jab - he came down with all 280 pounds on Savage’s back to drive his banged up midsection into the top turnbuckle.  Razorblade fell into the ring and Caviar lumbered his way down from the top rope.  Ig yelled out something in Russian, and Caviar yelled something back before leveling Savage with a discus Russian lariat.  Pyotr hooked both legs and to the disgust and shock of the crowd got the three count; the Republic gain the advantage for LockUp next Sunday.

  • Ig hit the ring to celebrate with Pyotr, and about two seconds after he got his hand raised by the referee Naz absolutely walloped him in the back with a chair shot.  Caviar went down in a heap as Naz smack talked him, paying no mind to Omar Littlefield sneaking up on him with a piece of the broken commentary table…but Omar completely missed Razorblade staggering to his feet and Savage surged forward and wiped him out with a Pounce straight out of the Littlefield playbook.  Fernandez came into the ring to try and salvage things for the Republic only for Naz to make her take a couple of steps back by swinging the chair at her.  Malicía backed up just enough to get spun around and laid out by an Orion satellite DDT.  Ig was on the mat screaming at his personal army to recover…and slowly looked up to see Orion, then Naz and Razorblade looking like fraternal twins with evil grins.  “Whaddya think?” said Savage.  “We ain't locked up yet,” said Naz, and then all the babyfaces rushed Ig.  de Catur was running for his private jet as the unofficial Team QCW chased him through the concourse.  Ruckus ended with that chase still on and the members of the Republic trying to recover in the ring 9 days out from AnniVersary.

FDSN Florida Presents QCW Ruckus [s4e40 • September 12th, 2025]

📺 live on FanDuel Sports Network Florida

📍 Quality Arena in Parts Unknown, FL

  • A time lapse video opened up Ruckus, showing us how the sky high chamber was made replete with four pods encased with plexiglass and platforms on top of them.  Steel chain encases and connects the LockUp structure, which will make its debut in the main event at AnniVersary when the Republic battle (for lack of a better term) Team Holmes where the winning side will earn their figurehead the disputed Commissionership.

  • Standard open rolled from there - and the Parts Unknown streets are hot on a Friday night.  Another rabid sold out crowd for Ruckus, and Steve Vandeblanche and Carl Christensen welcomed us to the show.  Tonight's main event will be Pyotr Caviar against Razorblade in a LockUp team advantage match, and we’ll also get Luz Cruz v. Lolo Vuitton to see who’ll get a shot at the Women's World championship at AnniVersary but tonight's action began with the QCW debut of the Catch Hell Wrestling League tag team champions…two proud Irishmen who look to lay claim to the unofficial title of best tag team in the world at AnniVersary and become double champions in the process.

  • 1. Catch Hell Wrestling League World Tag Team champions the Undaunted d. The End Times (w/the Chosen) at 8:50 in a non-titles match You know what's an easy way to get people cheered in their first Quality Arena appearance?  Put them up against QCW’s resident zealots and let logic do the rest.  Tim “the Only Hope” McMurray and “Unforgettable” Dave Mullin came out to a decent reaction, one that only got boosted when they came out of the gate strong, taking the Times down with double hip tosses and alley oop splashes.  But things took a turn when on orders from Caleb Gray, Justice Davis hopped up on the apron and began halfheartedly arguing with the referee before Drake Tremble shoved JD into the ref.  Understandably the zebra took offense and ejected Davis, who himself was pissed at Tremble.  Goody Gardner tried to broker peace in her stable on the outside while in the ring Mullin fell victim to a backdrop into a powerbomb that allowed the men from Crockett Island to take over as Davis stomped off to the back…and after some hesitation, Goody ended up following him.  Danny Castle and Dr. Martin Williams continued working over Mullin for the next couple of minutes while for the first time we saw some real dissension between Gray and his first acolyte Tremble on the floor.  Despite the bickering, the Times had Mullin in position for their devastating finisher the Reckoning only for Mullin to avoid the tornado DDT Doomsday Device by planting Castle with a rewind rana.  Dr. Williams tried to cut him off from making the hot tag but Dave backdropped him onto Castle and brought the fresh McMurray into the fray.  Tim might’ve been the smallest man in the fray but what he lacked in bulk he made up in speed, becoming a white, orange and green blur the Times simply couldn't catch.  An already exasperated Purifier almost punched through his trademark wide brimmed black hat as Mullin took his allies down, culminating in Mullin hitting a double Stundog Millionaire before tagging in a revitalized McMurray and the Catch Hell champs put Dr. Williams down for the count with their Air Ireland finisher (a Doomsday Meteora, if you can believe that).  As they were getting their hands raised the lights cut off in the arena; when they came back on, Hysteria was in the ring as expected…but the Undaunted were on the ramp holding their championships while pointing and laughing at Team Spooky trying and failing to jump them.  The Undaunted went to both sides of the ramp and posed with the Catch Hell Wrestling League tag team championships while Hysteria fumed in the ring that their plan had failed.

  • Before the commercial break we took a special look back at AnIIIversary from two years ago.  This one originated from Center Stage Theater in ATL: Team Batroc beat the International Players to retain the QCW World Tag Team championships, Karyn Tisch-Warren cheated to beat "Night Sky" Diana Spare, win the Women's World championship and send Spare out of town - then fell victim to a Cindy Monet cash in and loses the belt 9 seconds later, sending Cindy's hometown fans in a frenzy.  The show ended with Naz on commentary clowning Autumn Powers for failing to win the World title.

  • 2. Serge Batroc d. Lucius Patton at 7:41 Serge came out in a silk shirt unbuttoned to the navel and gold chains to a new song (KMFDM’s “Juke Joint Jezebel”) while Steve brought up he must've come into some francs selling Pyotr Caviar’s contract to Ig de Catur a few weeks ago.  Back from an evidently fabulous European vacation, Batroc took the still mostly listless Patton to school - at one point literally, as while he was dominating Sweet Lu on the mat he reversed a front facelock pretty easily into a front chancery and was loud enough to be heard describing to Patton how to properly apply the hold for maximum leverage.  He was right, but still.  Serge won the showcase definitively and secured the win with the Arc de Triumph; both the referee and Duck Eko got a little cash for their troubles by a beaming Serge after the match.

  • From there we went TOTHEBACK~!, where Julius Duquesne III brought out the Undaunted for an interview.  JD3 congratulated them on their win to kick off the show and Tim McMurray said that winning in Quality Arena felt so good they had to do it again - so they were accepting Hysteria's challenge and would see them at AnniVersary with the QCW Tag Team championships on the line.  Tim said that the lasses had lost their minds before and now they were going to lose their belts.  Some remained delusional, some remained Undaunted…and some b-word witches would remain ex champions after AnniVersary.  The lads flashed the Catch Hell Wrestling League tag team titles before walking off screen, JD3 delightedly hyping the new addition to the PPV this month before throwing things to “the Voice of QCW” Duck Eko to make the intros for the next match…

  • 3. The Republic (QCW World champion Omar Littlefield & Pyotr Caviar w/Ig de Catur & Republic Security) d. “Swamp Pride” Ted Holland and Robert E. Moonshine at 4:57 Appropriate that we’re heading into fall because the bruisers of the Republic served up a fat helping of squash here, even pulling up the outmatched Southern steeped fan favorites from a few pinfall “attempts” while Ig cackled his black heart out on the floor watching the destruction.  Pyotr catapulted poor Holland into a Face Eraser from The Champ, who made the ref count to 5 on the pin.  Ig screeched at the camera that punishment like that was what Orion was in for in the main event against Malicía Fernandez, and if Naz or Razorblade thought about getting involved they’d get wiped out like these two chumps.  The Republic headed to the back as Ruckus headed to commercials.

  • Back from the break, we saw Scott Holmes in his office before Nazir el-Fadal flung the door open to stand across the desk from the once and possibly future Commissioner he’d never gotten along with.  Naz immediately reiterated that fact, saying that after being screwed out of the World title by Ig and his goon Omar he was hell bent on bringing them down…but since he was going out of his way to help out Superstar Scotty, he was damn sure going to get a favor out of him for helping him out and getting him back in the big chair around here.  The favor was simple: once he led Team Jihad to victory at AnniVersary, give him Omar and his rematch for the World title at Dia de los Muertos next month so he could make even more history and become the first man ever to hold the QCW World title for a 4th time.  Holmes seemed to think it over for a few beats before saying that worked for him, but once those things happened they were at square one and free to hate each other as much or slightly less as they wanted.  Nazir stared down Holmes before offering a handshake, which surprised Scott; Holmes looked at the hand before giving Naz a once over and shaking it, which seemed to come as a bit of a surprise to Naz as the rivals for nearly five years straight popped the Quality Controllers seemed to reach an accord.  But the moment was ruined slightly when Naz pulled Holmes forward, almost getting nose to nose with his longtime adversary before hissing that if Holmes screwed him over this time he’d one up Scott and put Holmes in a wheelchair…permanently.  Naz spun on a heel and stomped off, leaving Holmes to stare daggers at his back before we returned to the ring for a trios match…

  • 4. The All Starr Stable (w/S. Mark Starr) dtko John Arneson, Ashok Banjerjee and Jacques Krieger at 12:34 This trios match came forth from last week’s Ruckus, where Arneson beat Evan O'Neill in a singles bout only to get jumped by the rest of the Stable after with BanjerKriegs (they're still working on a name) making the save to keep John from seriously getting injured.  After a feeling out process, Arneson began to nudge the scale towards the babyfaces by being not only quicker but stronger than Prince Ootsuka, the 5’2” newcomer to QCW making camera phones all across QA pop off by doing multiple presses of the Stable’s Prince before depositing him with a military powerslam.  Arneson tagged in Ashok Banjerjee and they teamed up on a double flapjack that got 2 for the two time former Catch Hell champion.  Ashok continued his side’s roll against the Prince, but a whip into the ropes set up a blind tag to Evan O'Neill, who then blind tagged in his running buddy “Upper Class” Broderick Palmer II.  Ashok missed both tags and found himself on the wrong end of an O'Neill backdrop into a sitout Palmerbomb that tilted the match in the Stable’s favor and had Starr applauding his team from the bottom of the ramp.

  • Palmer II continued to wear down Ashok, and while he himself kept things above board he also magically provided the openings for cheap shots from O’Neill and Ootsuka behind the referee's back.  After kicking away an attempted backdrop from a recovering Ashok, BPII speared Banjerjee down before looking to end things with his Class Dismissed - but Ashok shut down the Killswitch attempt and hit a spinning falling back suplex to leave them both on the mat.  Both men tried to fight off the other after taking a seven count from the referee but ended up kicking each other with big boots almost simultaneously that sent them crumbling to the mat but also towards their corners.  It was Krieger and O’Neill who got the hot tags and that was a fight the white hats wanted as the bigger Krieger would win it with his heavy right hands.  A desperate Evan would rake the eyes and hit the ropes, only for Krieger to follow him and clothesline him out to the floor.  The rest of the Stable checked on their unofficial leader only for all of them to be wiped out by a massive Krieger wrecking ball dropkick that cleared the decks of every wrestler in the Stable.  Krieger scared the crap out of his old manager before throwing Evan back in the ring and tagging in Arneson so both of them could sandwich Evan with pump knee strikes.  John went to cover but Broderick made the save and in short order a Pier 6 had broken out.

  • The babyfaces cleared the ring to a pop.  Arneson tossed Evan back in the ring, and then had to dodge a charging Palmer II who went flying into the barricade.  But in the ring, O’Neill crawled like a toddler to get over and tag Ootsuka; the Prince got the eye of the referee before hiding out by the apron.  Arneson dragged Evan out of the corner to set him up for his finisher but as he went up for his Natural 20 Ootsuka suddenly began choking Arneson out with a cobra clutch having slithered into the ring behind the Cold-Forged Hammer’s back.  Ootsuka locked in a body scissors to complete Bow Down, then O’Neill suddenly popped up from under the ring and yanked Ashok off the apron so he could give him a spear on the floor; Jacques hit the ring but Palmer II leapt forward and smothered Jacques’ legs from around the corner.  Arneson didn't tap out but he went to sleep after a mild struggle.  The ref checked his arm and called for the bell after it fell limp to the mat.  Ootsuka didn't let go until Krieger finally shook loose of BP2, causing the Prince to roll out of the ring and join his associates celebrating on the floor.  The Stable surrounded the Prince and cheered their win while Krieger checked on Arneson, who took a couple beats to come around.  Ootsuka stared down Arneson and gestured that he was too short to bang with him before heading to the back with his teammates cackling behind him, O’Neill taking special glee in watching the man who’d beaten him last week, hitting Arneson with the Miller/Haliburton two handed choke sign before letting out a man’s laugh and heading to the back.

  • Backstage before the break, we saw Naomi Lee standing by to interview Luz Cruz.  Cruz expressed some sadness over not being able to get the World Tag Team championships with Women's World champion “Night Sky” Diana Spare last week but confessed that despite earning Spare's respect at Cruel Summer she still wanted the Women's World title back.  Naomi pointed out that not only had she lost to Diana at Cruel Summer, fellow former Women's World champion Lolo Vuitton made a lot of noise about going after Diana and the title herself last week.  Luz calmly stated that if Lolo felt that way about it, she could fight Luz next week for the #1 contendership and the winner would earn their way to a title shot at AnniVersary.  Luz was ready for the fight - but was Lolo?  Cruz stared down the barrel of the camera while Nao started to throw to commercial - only for Beast Mode to pull up on their way to the ring for the semi man tag coming up next.  Lolo, flanked by Roy Fade and Pierce Moore per usual got right in Luz’s face and said she couldn't wait to clown Lolo next week because she was going to succeed where Luz had failed; in fact, Cruz could get a taste of what was in store for her when she watched the beatdown her boys put on the nose diving fly boys right now.  Luz looked like she was thinking about going after Lolo but the guys in Beast Mode took a couple steps towards Cruz before scoffing and turning, the flashy trio leaving Luz and Naomi behind to spread swagger all over backstage.  Steve hyped up Fade and Moore vs. Tre Boyd and Kam Ellis from Sky’s the Limit – NEXT!

  • 5. Tre Boyd and Kam Ellis (w/the Cooper Brothers) d. Beast Mode (w/Lolo Vuitton) by disqualification at 10:40 A rematch in the months long feud between Mode and Sky’s the Limit since the vets out of LA turned on the Air Force alumni ended up with StL winning the battle but Mode winning the war.  The match ping ponged back and forth early. It didn't exactly come as a shock that Tre could handle Pierce Moore but after the Dashing One raked the eyes so he could tag in the bruising Roy Fade, the former Golden Gloves winner hit the ring and bottled up Boyd by pushing him into neutral corners before teeing off with body shots.  Once Boyd had been weakened, Moore was tagged back in and tried the same offense but obviously not to the same effects.  But Moore did have success in going after the neck of Boyd to set up his Fresh To Death cutter, most noticeably following up a Stun Gun with a neckbreaker for a nearfall. Mode kept rolling along…right until they went to end things with their Dashing Decision and Boyd shoved Moore off into the charging Fade.  With the black hats temporarily laid out, Tre eventually nipped up, flipped forward and tagged out.  Kam hit the ring and the biggest man in the match literally started throwing his weight around, lighting up both Mode members with suplexes before taking them both down with a missile dropkick.  Fade & Moore tried to recover on the floor but all that got them was an Orihara moonsault from the California King.  A fired up Ellis beat on the announce table before tossing Moore back in the ring and planting him with a Blue Thunder bomb to stifle an attempted Dashing rally.  Ellis went to the top rope but Lolo hopped up on the apron to provide a distraction.  Kam waved her off and flew into the ring with a beautiful Shooting Star press – only for Fade to knock him out as he was coming down with a set of brass knuckles to end the match by getting intentionally DQed.

  • With Kam down, Beast Mode made sure they would win the uneven fight; first, as the Cooper Brothers tried to make the save, a suddenly revitalized Moore leapt off the mat and planted them both at the same time with his venomous Fresh To Death, then Lolo flirted with Tre long enough to make him forget that Fade was in the ring as well.  “These Hands” spun the Gospel and planted one on his chin with the knucks.  A scowling Fade shoved Boyd into the corner as Lolo came around the horn and drilled the Limit’s leader with a Bloody Shoe that dropped him on his ass in the corner.  Lolo made sure she could be heard loud enough without a mic as she bragged to the camera that she was just a pair of Bloody Shoes away from being decked out in gold once again; now after being fake and getting held back for too damn long, Beast Node was going to take all the turns.  They left Sky's the Limit in their wake and used the ramp to get their running walk on to the back.

  • Let's climb aboard the hype train with Steve and Carl to find out what's on deck for 💫 next week's Ruckus 💫; a special look back at last year's AnnIVersary | the debut of Jonathan Livingston Clipper, Esq. | And in a one on one to determine which side gets the team advantage at AnniVersary for the LockUp match, Pyotr Caviar will go one on one with Mason “Razorblade” Savage

  • Next up was the main event, a Cruel Summer rematch with the National championship on the line…

  • 6. Orion d. Malicía Fernandez [c, w/Ig de Catur, the Republic and Republic Enforcement] to win the National championship (?) at 13:07 And would you look at what we have here; Orion not only went up 2-1 in their months long rivalry but put a crack in the Republic’s firewall by snatching away Omar's insurance against future cash ins and apparently the National title in the process (only other champions were Caleb and Razorblade before Malicía).  After the championship lighting went away and the bell rang, Orion came at Fernandez in a full sprint before laying her out with a satellite DDT and getting a 2½ in the opening 10 seconds.  And things continued rolling on for the Cosmic Superstar early, as they pressed their advantage and used their speed to change levels on Malicía to keep wearing them down.  On commentary, former champion Carl pointed out that Orion wasn't letting the pressure of a championship match get to them outwardly and was putting together a hella tight offensive.

  • It didn't take much longer for the Announcer’s Curse to strike, as around 90 seconds after his compliment Orion sent La Monstrua ass over teakettle and looked to follow up with a Shining Wizard only for Malicía to not only block it but catch Orion and splatter her all over the canvas like a Pollock with a massive powerbomb.   When Orion finally staggered up Malicía hit them with a big boot that sent them over the top rope before landing awkwardly on the floor.  Fernandez shook feeling in her knee before rolling out of the ring, but she still had enough of a base to send Orion flying over the steps after an Irish whip.  It looked like Malicía's rampage was done there, except that after rolling in and back out of the ring to break the count, she drove Orion into the apron with a sidewalk slam.  Fernandez shoved Orion back into the ring before stepping back in over the top rope herself and continued the beatdown while Ig continued to sing her praises as the best National champion of all time on the floor.  The luchadora began to pick apart Orion, who showed some fight with a few flurries…but each time they did, all it took was one massive shot from Malicía to send them crashing back down to the canvas.

  • The worst blow seemed to come when Fernandez caught a dropkick attempt from Orion and tossed them in the air before letting them crash sternum first to the mat.  You could hear Orion’s hacking coughs right until Fernandez came off the ropes and buried a somersault axe kick in the back of their head.  Malicía made a cover, but Orion kicked out at 2¾.  The kick out had Fernandez shaking her head, but she stayed on the attack and laid in some mocking kicks to the side of the head; when Orion tried in vain to fight from underneath Malicía snatched them up by the mask and said something definitely unfriendly in Spanish before delivering a crisp MF5 right into the QCW logo in the middle of the ring.  Malicía hooked both legs on the cover, only for Orion to narrowly survive with a kick out at 2.8 or 2.9.  Malicía looked over to a furious Ig, who barked at her to finish the job.  Fernandez nodded before making the sign of the cross behind Orion's back.  Fernandez pulled up Orion for the Death Warrant, causing Orion to land a sudden step up enzuigiri.  That rattled Malicía so Orion landed another, but when they went to complete the trifecta Fernandez ducked it before delivering the Warrant so hard the recoil from the impact even knocked Malicía on her ass.  Fernandez let out a small grin as she went for the cover…and just like what happened in their initial match at Mayday Payday, Orion hooked Malicía in an inside cradle that got the shocking three count.  New champion!  New champion!  Let the Quality Controllers rise up and cheer!

  • Orion was on their back in the ring while Malicía looked absolutely stunned.  Razorblade came down the ramp and applauded while Fernandez complained to the referee she’d kicked out (and she had, just a half second late).  Duck Eko was putting extra sauce in his voice but as he was winding up to announce the new champion, de Catur shoved him down.  Even worse, Omar Littlefield snatched the National championship from the falling Duck’s hand and just to put a broken glass cherry on this shit sundae, smashed the National championship repeatedly against the steps until it was broken, disfigured, and you might even say scarred.  Razorblade made a charge towards Omar and Ig but found himself cut off by REnforcement as Ig gathered his troops and had the Republic march out through the crowd, the whole time yell-screeching about how that didn't happen, that never happened and there was no way that Orion was the National champion.  REnforcement kept Razorblade at bay before leaving themselves, turning what should have been a moment of triumph into one of confusion and sadness as Ruckus faded to black.

FDSN Florida Presents QCW Ruckus [s4e40 • September 5th, 2025]

📺 live on FanDuel Sports Network Florida

📍 Quality Arena in Parts Unknown, FL

  • A recap of last week's main event opened the show, the video package highlighting the Republic winning a six person tag and officially welcoming Pyotr Caviar into the fold only to have Orion and a kendo stick crash the party; they literally drew first blood on Malicía Fernandez ahead of their National championship rematch next week.  Things ended with the Republic swearing vengeance from the floor while Orion, Nazir el-Fadal and Razorblade held down the ring with weapons in hand.

  • Another hot Friday night in Parts Unknown that had nothing to do with the humidity outside.  Inside Quality Arena nearly a thousand strong were psyched for another high stakes episode of Ruckus.  Steve Vandeblanche and Carl Christensen welcomed us to the show and hyped up a special look at 2022’s AnIIversary as well as Omar Littlefield defending the World championship - but tonight's action would start with another defense of World titles.

  • Lights off.

  • Lights on.

  • Hysteria.  Literally.  QCW’s resident coven held down the ring ahead of the arrival of their opponents and ex allies; the referee had to hold Luz Cruz and the Women's World champion “Night Sky* Diana Spare back before the lights dimmed down to a single spotlight on “the Voice of QCW” Duck Eko, who made introductions for our World Tag Team titles opener.

  • 1. Bonnie Agrippa and Nancy Crowley of Hysteria [c, w/Justine Danek and Bella Jolie] d. Women's World champion “Night Sky” Diana Spare and Luz Cruz to retain the QCW World Tag Team championships at 10:25 Fun, hard hitting TV match that saw the champs retain to keep the Era of Hysteria rolling along; they’ve been holding gold 80+% of the time since last summer.  Spare started the match for her side but demanded she get to open against leader Agrippa, who readily accepted the challenge.  An early stalemate turned into a fight that the Women's World champion ended up ahead on before stomping a cackling Bonnie down in a neutral corner and nearly having to be pulled off by the referee.  (Shoutout to Carl’s deadpan “I don't think these gals like each other, Stevearino” watching this play out.) Spare tagged in Cruz before sending Agrippa into the ropes and alley ooping Cruz into a dropkick so high she could almost touch the overhead rig before laying out Bonnie with it.  That got Cruz a nearfall but it didn't stop Luz from lighting into the woman who’d taken control of Hysteria away from her for the next few beats of the match.  Bonnie’s mocking laughter came to an end quick as Luz reached into her lucha libre bag of tricks, sending Agrippa to the floor after landing a springboard dropkick.  Justine and Bella looked concerned and headed over towards Nancy as Cruz got on the hop and went for a signature step up tope con hilo - only for Bonnie to catch Cruz by the legs and swing her viciously headfirst into the retaining barrier before adding injury to injury by swinging her into the steel steps.

  • Agrippa dragged Cruz closer to the Hysteria side of the ring, then rolled in to break up the count and tagged in Crowley.  The Feral Nancy climbed to the middle rope before pivoting to face the floor and flying off with a suicide senton that crushed Cruz’s rib cage like a slipper coming down on a cockroach.  As you probably guessed, the replays started flying while Luz desperately tried to keep all her Internal organs that way.  Nancy slowly drew herself to her feet before scaring the crap out of the cameraman by getting right in the lens and alternating guttural wordless noise with babbling before flashing a sick grin.  Crowley bundled up Luz and tossed her into the ring before following up with a Code Black; Luz may’ve been a little fortunate to escape at 2¾.  Crowley worked over Luz a little more before tagging Bonnie back in, and the two of them combined on a double gourdbuster that got another nearfall, this time for Bonnie.  As Bonnie kept beating on Cruz, Steve pointed out we were seeing everything that made Hysteria dangerous and the champs: they played mind games before the match, they had numbers on the outside, and they had the in ring skills to run any division they set their evil minds to.  Bonnie unleashed her fury over the next few moments and buried Spare under a flurry of flash elbows before doing a throat slash across Diana’s neck, then called for the end.  Agrippa hit two rolling suplexes before tagging in Nancy to finish off their former friend with a trademark spike brainbuster – but Diana suddenly slipped free and shoved Bonnie into Nancy, sending Crowley bouncing off the apron to the floor and Agrippa hung out to dry between the ropes.  The crowd clapped along with Luz as Spare managed to do a couple of rolls before tagging Luz to a solid pop from the Quality Controllers.

  • Cruz wasted no time sprinting across the ring and leaping off Bonnie's back to hit Bonnie on the floor with a corkscrew plancha, Steve freaking out over the crispness of the tornillo.  Luz tossed Crowley back in and leveled her with a springboard dropkick, then followed up by running up the ropes to connect with a tornado DDT; Crowley managed a kick out late.  Cruz hit some rapid fire kicks on Crowley before doubling her over and giving Nancy a taste of her own medicine with a Code Red.  This got Justine and Bella on the apron in protest but Cruz dropkicked Danek down to the floor, then dropkicked Jolie into the fallen Justine.  Crowley tried to sneak up on Cruz and finish things with Bite Me, but Luz held onto the buckles to send Nancy flying backwards before putting the super in superkick.  Before Nancy could drop, Luz snatched her up and took her to Widow’s Peak with a vicious looking Gory Especial neckbreaker.  Nancy was too weak to get her shoulders off the mat…but her lower body had enough to drape a leg on the bottom rope at 2.8 and save the titles for Hysteria much to the chagrin of the crowd.

  • If you can believe it, the titles match broke down even further from there as Justine and Bella tried to pull Nancy from the ring only to get caught by the ref.  The zebra wound up and ejected them to a pop, and when they wouldn't leave on their own called for the referee corps to remove them from ringside.  Justine and Diana traded a few words as they were being escorted out, leading to a shoving match the refs had to try and break up - and with all the attention on the floor, it gave Bonnie perfect cover to wallop Luz in the face with one of the championships before rolling out of the ring and hiding.  Nancy crawled over and barely got an arm over Cruz, causing Steve to scream “Not like this, damnit!  Not like this l!” as the count came down…only for Diana to slide in and pull Crowley off at 2.9 to another roar from the crowd.  Spare picked up Nancy by the face and began to threaten her when Bonnie grabbed Diana by the legs and pulled her out to the floor.  Spare sent Agrippa back first into the barricade and seemed to be setting up for Nightfall only for Bonnie to slip out the back door and shove Diana face first into the ringpost so hard Spare’s body went limp after making impact, another case of steel conquering flesh.  FDSNF showed “Night Sky” bleeding from the head before panning up to the ring, where a clearly rattled Crowley wobbled to the corner and tagged in Agrippa.  The damage had been done to Diana and now it would be done to Luz, as the champs laid out their former leader with a spike brainbuster and as they have so many times this year used it to win the match and retain the gold.

  • Crowd booed the fact that Hysteria had barely escaped by the skin of their teeth, but you know Bonnie and Nancy didn't care about that - they held up their belts in defiance before we got to replays, Carl putting over Nancy as the match’s MVP even if he didn't like her tactics.  Back live, Justine and Bella came back out and celebrated with their coven on the ramp amongst the boos.  Nancy and Bonnie made sure to get their titles right up in the lens before Agrippa dropped hers a little bit to hiss “Best - tag team - in the world!”

  • We had a This Week In QCW History segment that took us back to September 4th, 1994 and the debut of one “Superstar” Scott Holmes to a warm reception from the fans; by the following summer he'd be getting “Superfraud!” chants.  In the modern age, most fans and wrestlers agree he’s doing super as Commissioner.

  • 2. “Zaddy Longlegs” Cole Grant (w/”Fahrenheit” Freddie Valsada) d. Hawk Carter at 8:18 Fun fact: since this was his first singles match since the time limit draw with Valsada that led to the Glam Squad forming, this was Cole’s first singles win in QCW over the bigger Carter.  Hawk took an early advantage but the turning point came when QCW’s resident cowboy missed a corner charge and flew shoulder first into the ringpost.  He staggered out of the corner Grant was going up the turnbuckles in before flying off the top rope with a super bulldog that crumpled Hawk.  Grant put on a showcase from there and won with a superkick to the delight of Freddie on the floor; they celebrated up the ramp and Ruckus went to commercials.

  • Back from break and to one of the skyboxes in Quality Arena, where Naomi Lee had a live interview with Beast Mode.  The crowd shouted up boos at them but Roy Fade and Lolo Vuitton were egging them right back while Pierce Moore merely looked nauseated.  Naomi asked them why they interfered in Tre Boyd’s match on last week's show and Roy said he was tired of the Boyd hype when he and his squad were standing right here holding it down for years before Sky’s the Limit showed up.  “These Hands” continued, saying that if the fly boys wanted to try and step on his turf then he'd get grimy and ain’t nobody in the building wanted that.  Lolo cackled before taking over, saying that everybody knew next week Beast Mode was going to clown Tre and his sidekick Kam, they were already on the struggle bus and running out of gas.  But it wasn't just the pretty boys holding it down because it was past time gold was back in her life.  If Diana Spare was done losing and pretending, the real best Women's World champion of all time would take her property back at the biggest show in company history - who else could the #1 contender be but her?   Respect and championships would be put on their names and they were done waiting.  Now they were going to take all the turns.  They told Lee to go find somebody else to bother so they could have their champagnes in peace; a seething Naomi threw things to Duck in the ring, who made the ring introductions for the next match up…

  • 3. John Arneson d. Evan O'Neill (w/the All Starr Stable) at 10:09 This rivalry was born in QCW’s sister company in the Pacific Northwest, where the always abrasive O’Neill never took Arneson seriously due to his size even when they were trading the Evergreen Wrestling League title; their feud escalated until a EWL title loser leaves town match that Arneson won, sending O’Neill towards QCW and the Stable.  Arneson came out of the gate hot looking to shrink O’Neill down to size with some buzzsaw kicks to the thigh before battering the Oracle of Off-Book down with some old school Mongolian chips.  But his run of offensive success hit a brick wall disguised as a big boot, and if there's one thing Evan O'Neill is going to do, it's exploit an opportunity.  Evan worked over John through both force and malice, repeatedly using as much of the referee's five count as he could to choke the Cold-Forged Hammer with his boot if not his bare hands.  Even when Arneson managed a brief rally, the former World Tag Team champion put paid to it with a Stun Gun that set up a slingshot spear - still, Arneson managed to shoulder up at 2¾.  Arneson 's narrow survival just made Evan turn up the torque on another barrage of offense.  After splattering John with a powerbomb, Evan pulled him into the drop zone before coming off the top to finish him off with his trademark One Last Chance, but Arneson knew all too well the horrors of that senton elbow drop and managed to roll out of harm's way at the death.  O’Neill was trying to get his wits about him as he peeled himself off the mat but Arneson outsmarted him by scooping him up with an Oklahoma roll that just barely but successfully got him the three count and kept his undefeated streak in QCW rolling on.

  • O’Neill handled this as well as you might expect, jumping Arneson from behind before FDSN Florida could even fire off any replays, and with some quick help from Prince Ootsuka and “Upper Class” Broderick Palmer II it didn't take long for the Iron Dwarf to be on the wrong side of a 3 on 1 beatdown.  The Stable looked to be setting up John for a big double team maneuver when the crowd suddenly converted jeers to cheers as Ashok Banjerjee and Jacques Krieger ran down the ramp to keep the Stable from any further bullying.  In only a few short seconds the random assortment of babyfaces had cleared the ring of the Stable, and while the bad guys fumed on the floor over their plans being ruined John thanked Ashok and Jacques for having his back.

  • Before we hit another commercial break a video package flashed back to AnIIversary in ‘22 where Autumn Powers beat Summer Rose to retain the Women's World championship to force Rose to leave town (we haven't seen Summer since and for that matter we haven't seen Autumn since last year's AnnIVersary), the Game Changers won the World Tag Team championships, and the show ended with the infamous Naz belt toss after he beat Razorblade to regain the World title in his Last Stand and the Match of the Year.

  • 4. The Chosen (“the Purifier” Caleb Gray, “the Righteous” Justice Davis and “the Paragon” Drake Tremble w/the End Times and Goody Gardner) d. Anton Stahl and the Wonderful Ward Brothers at 8:04 We came back from commercials right into six man action to kick off the back half of Ruckus, action that saw the newest iteration of the Chosen best three former champions in Stahl and the Wards.  The babyfaces acquitted themselves well early on, and there was some awkwardness between JD and Tremble that continued unfolding as the match went on. The Chosen used the power advantage they had over the technical trio they were up against to first get and then keep the upper hand.  As Goody Gardner rooted them on from ringside - especially Justice - QCW’s resident zealots got the duke.  Caleb only interjected in a couple of spots to keep things flowing his team’s way and it led to the finish: Justice looked to be putting the finishing touches on the fight with Rich Ward lined up to eat his Busiaku knee, but Tremble tagged himself in and drilled Rich with the Halo Effect to get the pin while Caleb and Justice fended off Anton and Jason the Great to secure the win.  The Chosen hit their group cross pose in celebration post match and all yelled “Faith over fear!”... everyone except for Davis, who was glaring a bit at a smirking Drake and didn't see Goody looking with concern at him.

  • Carl noted the weirdness from the desk but brought up his championship winning past before also noting that wins had a way of papering over any rough spots.  As Steve was putting over the win streak that the Chosen were putting together since adding the reluctant acolyte Davis, the lights went out in Quality Arena.  The Qualitron 9004 whirred to life and showed all four women of Hysteria in a dark room while purple and white tulip lights swung overhead.  Justine and Bella talked briefly about being avenged before Nancy Crowley added to it, saying they were avenged by the best tag team in the damn world, as those Hysteria rejects Luz and Diana found out earlier.  Bonnie Agrippa stepped forward from the darkness with a death grip on the QCW World Tag Team championshipship in her hand and said that as much fun as tonight's win was, the biggest show in QCW history wouldn't be complete without her and Nancy defending their titles and shutting up more haters - and she had just the victims in mind.  She was tired of hearing the Undaunted run their yaps, so she and Nancy would shut them up at AnniVersary if they had the balls.  Undaunted.  Hysteria.  QCW World Tag Team championships on the line…champions vs. champions.  The Tron cut to black and the lights came back on to the crowd buzzing and Steve hyping a potential landmark tag titles match for the PPV before we had some more tag action in our semi main…

  • 5. Hellraisers d. The Proper Villains at 8:41 Problems continued for the Villains, who lost to their QCW & Catch Hell rivals the Hellraisers when some timely dodging from Gerry Greene led to “the Fury” Jim Jaspers accidentally flying into his partner “the Proper King” Richard Windsor, sending Windsor flying off the apron and into the retaining barrier.  Richard managed to recover but glowered at Jim from the floor the rest of the match, standing by passively while the black hats turned things into essentially a handicap match Windsor felt fine watching like he was in the cheap seats instead of in the match.  The cohesive ‘Raisers put an outmatched Jim away after their To Hell With You deadlift German suplex x Supernaut flying lariat combo.

  • Before we headed to break we saw Robert E. Moonshine pump up his partner “Swamp Pride” Ted Holland ahead of the World title main event and they exchanged a three step handshake before leaving their locker room; two slightly somehow familiar shadows were on the wall a few beats behind them a few seconds later.

  • What's to come on 💫 next week's Ruckus? 💫 Steve's glad you asked! We’ll jump back in time two years to take a special look at AnnIIIversary • Catch Hell Wrestling League tag team champions the Undaunted make their QCW debuts against the Chosen's End Times • and next week's main event will be Malicía/Orion III for the National championship…but this week's main event with the World title on the line is right now.

  • Ghaiz Guevara's “The Old Guard Is Dead” fired up over the PA to bring out the controversial World champion Omar Littlefield, his patron Ig de Catur and the rest of the Republic along with their personal security.  Carl couldn't keep the bike out of his voice when he said that for someone his size, the last thing Littlefield needed was to be surrounded by a dozen hired goons whether or not he had the champion’s prerogative to come out first.  As Guevara's song faded, it was replaced by the dulcet tones of “Thank God I’m A Country Boy” replaced it to bring out crowd favorite and perennial underdog “Swamp Pride” Ted Holland and his tag partner Robert E. Moonshine.  As the Qualitron 9004 remained open, Holland broke out into an evil grin as he and Robert gestured towards the back for someone to come forward,  Actually, that turned out to be someones plural, as the rolling fog parted to reveal first Orion and then Mason “Razorblade” Savage to massive pops from the QCW faithful while the Republic fumed over the surprise special guest stars.  The announce hyped up Holland making the playing field more level for the biggest match of his career and put over Orion and Razorblade for having his back while also throwing shade at Nazir el-Fadal for not being here to lend a hand.  We got the same sort of specialized championship lighting we did for the opener but Omar spent the whole time he was being intro’d complaining to the ref about Orion and Razorblade’s presence even as he handed over the belt and the bell rang, allowing Ted to land an immediate shotgun dropkick that wobbled Omar and got our main event underway with hope in the air…

  • 6. Omar Littlefield [c, w/Ig de Catur, the Republic and Republic Enforcement] d. “Swamp Pride” Ted Holland (w/Robert E. Moonshine, Orion and Mason “Razorblade” Savage) to retain the QCW World championship at 11:11 …but no Cinderfella story to be had here. Sorry.  In Ted’s defense he threw everything and the kitchen sink at Omar.  Littlefield couldn't get a hold on Holland for nearly the first two minutes as Ted out on a stick and more clinic, going to the second and even top rope for shoulder blocks when the standard issue ones wouldn't budge the land monster from up north.  Unfortunately for Ted it only took two moves for Omar to send him to the floor, where he proceeded to beat Ted like a rented goalie; the itinerary included hard throws into the retaining barrier, a press drop into the steps and a throw onto the announce table (which didn't give, possibly making things worse for Holland).  A growling Omar tossed Ted into the ring before splattering him with a Pounce but Ted managed to kick out even if it was at 2.9.  Orion, Razorblade and Robert pounded the apron to try to rally Ted, which drew the attention of Republic Enforcement.  Omar paid the outside business no mind and hit a World’s Strongest Slam before setting up and delivering a Vader Bomb.  The words between REnforcement and the babyfaces started turning into shoves from the gray shirts, who picked a fight with three wrestlers and got treated like red shirts despite having a 2:1 advantage.  This got Ig on the apron full of self righteous anger, with Malicía and Pyotr’s attempts to talk him down falling on dead ears.  As the referee was demanding they all return to the floor, Moonshine surprised everyone by getting to the top rope and connecting with a flying lariat.  This only pissed off the rest of the Republic even further, which further just pissed off the referee and kept their focus on getting them completely off the apron - completely missing Orion and Razorblade sliding into the ring and connecting on a leg lariat HiLo that wiped Omar out right before they slid back out of the ring and threw their voices in support of the referee’s warning.  Seeing an opportunity, Ted slowly made his way to the top rope and made sure to balance himself before flying off and connecting with a diving headbutt.  Ted pinned Omar's shoulders to the canvas and the referee spun around to get down for the count – but Omar practically bench pressed Red off before it could even get to 2½.  Ted looked a little panicked but quickly called for the end and tried to get the World championship by connecting with a Doctor Bomb he calls Before the Fall; Omar made it winter real quick by lariating Ted so hard he came out of one of his short boots.  Omar showed Ted how champions did it by picking up the limp Holland and dropping him with his trademark Face Eraser DDT and not only won the match but made the zebra count to 5 on the pinfall.  Sorry, Ted.

  • But things didn't end there, as REnforcement landed some post match cheap shots on Orion, Razorblade and Robert while Omar made the ref one up Ted by lariating the poor zebra out of both of their shoes.  It didn't take long for the Republic to get the upper hand on the smaller babyfaces, as titles went flying into foreheads to leave the ring looking like the plot of a mortuary.  Omar used the Fifteen Pounds of Gold to take a chunk out of Razorblade’s forehead while the much smaller Orion and Robert were no match for land mobsters Fernandez and Caviar   While the Republic played a deeply unfun game of Finisher Bingo on the babyfaces, Ig demanded and got the mic from Duck.  He shouted over the boos, saying that in a few short weeks AnniVersary would take place in this very ring and he had a special announcement for the main event.

  • He’d put together the finest personal army money could buy, so come the last Sunday of the month they were going to go to war and secure the Commissionership for him once and for all.  In Quality Arena - the house he built - he was bringing his newest invention to Parts Unknown in the form of not just a steel cage but a chamber with four holding cells that would break bones, she's blood and crush the spirit of anyone foolish enough to stand in for Holmes. He dubbed his newest invention the LockUp match and made it clear why he felt like he had nothing to worry about: he had the future of QCW with Pyotr Caviar, the gold standard of National champions in Malicía Fernandez and of course his personal wrecking ball the #AndSTILL World Heavyweight champion Omar Littlefield – if this pathetic resistance was the best Holmes could provide for opposition then at AnniVersary Ig’s conquest of QCW would be complete…and he’d put the Superstar in the ground right next to his sorry ass daddy.

  • That tore it for Holmes, who parted the Tron and odds be damned sprinted towards the ring looking to beat some respect into Ig…only for Omar to Pounce him so hard when he hit the end of the ramp that Holmes went flying into the steps head first.  A loud clang was heard and he fell awkwardly and limply to the floor, causing gasps and some super sized “ASSHOLE!” chants from the usually lawful good Quality Controllers.  With their opposition absolutely wiped out all around them in and out of the ring, Ig made sure to gather his forces on the apron over Holmes’ fallen body before letting out a screechy “Long live the Republic!” to further inflame the faithful.  “The Old Guard Is Dead” played Ruckus off the air while Steve worried that with all that firepower - and Lord help us if so - we were three weekends away from the official coronation of Emperor de Catur.
