FDSN Florida Presents QCW Ruckus [s4e26 • May 9th, 2025]

📺 live on FanDuel Sports Network Florida

📍 Quality Arena in Parts Unknown, FL

  • A recap package opened the show that focused on last week's show where Nazir el-Fadal stopping the Pyotr Caviar vs. Justice Davis match before it could even get started, leading to a JD/Naz brawl and Interim Commissioner Ig making a match between them the new main event - it ended in a double countout with Nazquil through the announce table and Ig making this week's main event a trios match with Team Batroc and Caleb Gray against a reunited Savage Justice and Naz.

  • Standard open with the Parts Unknown streets running hot tonight 48 hours ahead of Mayday Payday.  Steve was joined by new color commentator Craig Jacobs, who said he was looking forward to seeing who wins and who loses and seems like if the color beige had a pulse.  Steve hyped a special look at the Mayday Payday card and the main event six man tag before throwing things up to Duck Eko and the introductions for the night’s opener…

  • 1. “These Hands” Roy Fade (w/Beast Mode) d. “The Truth” Tre Boyd (w/Sky’s the Limit) by disqualification at 9:05 This has turned into a heated rivalry between both sides quickly after seeming mentors Beast Mode turned on Sky's the Limit either due to feeling that the newcomers were after their spot or jealousy (maybe both).  Last week saw StL’s Kam Ellis lose to Mode’s Pierce Moore and led to leader Boyd calling out multiple time champion Fade to fight him here tonight.  Boyd showed no fear in going right after the former Golden Gloves winner, using his quickness to swarm Fade early on.  After Tre connected with a handspring enzuigiri, Fade tried bailing out to the floor only to be on the business end of a step up Shooting Star plancha that’ll probably go in the show open before we get to the summer.  Boyd stayed in control until he went for a Blue Thunder bomb, which Fade countered with a series of rabbit punches until Tre was down on the canvas and he could stomp away on him.  These Hands had an advantage for a bit but the explosive Tre was too tough and too fast to be kept down for long, as Boyd took Fade’s knees out from under him with a basement dropkick to avoid the Decision and regain control.  Boyd pinballed around the ring and hit a Spanish Fly off the ropes before calling for the end, that caused a desperate Lolo Vuitton to jump on the apron while Moore slid a pair of brass knuckles into the ring.  But Boyd stepped on them right before they could get to Roy, then put them on before walloping Fade with them…about two seconds after the ref turned around.

  • Obviously, this got Boyd DQed and had both Mode and StL freaking out in different ways but Tre blocked out all that noise to make some of his own as he repeatedly and loudly chirped “But you tried it, tho!” before leaving the ring.  The Cooper Brothers and Kam Ellis questioned their friend and leader but Boyd waved them all off as they left ringside, leaving a furious Beast Mode in the ring as Fade slowly returned to the land of the conscious.

  • A run through what’s been trending on Quality Social in the past week focused on Ashok Banjerjee challenging anybody from the All Starr Stable to meet him one on one tonight.  S. Mark Starr said that worked out fine by him, which drew a rare post from Jacques Krieger saying he’d make sure the Stable didn't ruin things.  An overjoyed Ashok recreated the Shooting Stars meme dance by way of response, which drew a big round of mocking not only from the Stable but some other heels who saw some low hanging fruit in making fun of Ashok’s goofy earnestness.

  • 2. Ashok Banjerjee (w/Jacques Krieger) d. “Upper Class” Broderick Palmer II (w/the All Starr Stable) at 7:10 Ashok was all smiles at the end of this one, as he was early on after getting Palmer II off balance with a trifecta of Japanese arm drags.  But Palmer II moved out of the way of a tope suicida after heeding his manager’s warning and Banjerjee took a nonstop flight into the retaining barrier.  Palmer II used that opportunity to gain the upper hand and even stuck Ashok with a crisp powerbomb for a nearfall, but when it looked like he was about to have the bout in hand Banjerjee shockingly countered a corner charge with a second rope Destroyer DDT and followed it up with an Orange Crush bomb to notch the win.  The Stable swore revenge from the ring while at the bottom of the ramp Krieger had a man’s laugh at the expense of his ex teammates and Ashok thanked Krieger profusely for having his back as Ruckus headed to commercial.

  • Back from the break a highlight package aired recapping last year's Mayday Payday.  It was a busy show: the first time we saw Caleb Gray and Goody Gardner team in a win ▶️ the first emergence of whom we’d come to know as Hysteria ▶️ Omar Littlefield winning a cage match and sending Ashok Banjerjee to the hospital ▶️ Lolo Vuitton winning the Women's World championship from Sohla Patel ▶️ the A Cut Above/Savage Justice fiasco literally got a TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES chyron ▶️ And “Dark Mirror” Beckett Carpenter won the main event triple threat for the World title - only to get cashed in on by Omar Littlefield, who took them apart in a few short minutes to take the belt himself.

  • 3. Malicía Fernandez & Fiona Fogg d. Orion & “Night Sky” Diana Spare at 10:39 This was essentially a Mayday Payday preview tag match, with Spare/Fogg for the Women's World championship and Fernandez/Orion both happening on Sunday's PPV.  Despite neither side teaming before, both sides showed some rough chemistry - first as Fogg used some brief cheapshot flurries before tagging in and essentially hiding behind Fernandez, then Orion and Spare being able to land a few quick tags and double team moves to chop Fernandez down to size a bit and press their advantage.  But Malicía had too much beef for them to stay consistently cooking and eventually completely took over the match.  A blindside cheap shot Yakuza kick sent Spare flying off the apron into the announce table and left Orion easy pickings to eat Malicía’s Death Warrant finisher.  Fogg asked for the tag and after some staring, Fernandez tagged her in and Fiona got the cheap win much to Steve’s disgust on commentary.  Fernandez stomped off to the back while the pin happened, leaving Fogg to stand on the announce table and gloat over the body of the recovering Spare two nights ahead of their World title clash.

  • We headed into the break with a This Week In QCW History segment going back two years ago on May 5th where we saw “Dark Mirror” Beckett Carpenter again as they cheated to beat Jacques Krieger and win the Duquesne Classic.

  • 4. Shelley LaVey d. Sohla Patel at 9:30 Hour 2 started off with Shelley LaVey’s first match since being betrayed by Beauty and the Beast Mode and jumped again by Lolo Vuitton a couple weeks ago.  But Shelley showed steely focus as she took the fight to the former Women's World champion from the bell, and it took a sudden Patel spinning heel kick followed by a Blockbuster for Sohla to get any sort of higher ground in the fight.  The head of International Lotus used that combo for an advantage she held for a couple of minutes until Shelley kneed away an attempt at Patel’s Ninth Incarnation and used a Pele kick that sent Sohla spiraling into the corner.  LaVey followed up with a draping cutter from the top rope and Sohla was a dead woman walking after that as LaVey bounced her around before putting the match to bed with her trademark Fallen Angel splash.  After the win, Shelley spoke to a corner camera told Lolo she’d better be ready to squabble up in Minny.  Parking lot, concession stand, the ring, didn't matter to her - but she’d just ripped the rose petals off Sohla and she’d been waiting months to beat the breaks off Lolo.  LaVey left the ring to cheers but ignored them all.

  • A cut to backstage got Quality Arena popping big as the Double Champ Razorblade was shown taping up his fists ahead of the main event.  As he heard footsteps come in he said he was looking forward to finally talking, but as he stood up and was suddenly face to face with Nazir el-Fadal (who also got a big pop) it was clear that the One Man Jihad wasn't who he was expecting.

  • Naz said he wasn't looking forward to whatever BS this was going to be, especially when he had Pyotr to deal with on Sunday on the way to getting back HIS 15 Pounds of Gold.  Razorblade shook his head and slowly stood up, and got face to face with Naz - before laughing in his face.  Razorblade said that if Naz ever got the #1 contendership he'd absolutely _love_ to give him another shot; you know, like the shot he gave him in January, or the shot in October.  The crowd oohed as Razorblade said that he was getting called the greatest champion in QCW history not because he was running around sucking up to people or telling them that they should, but because HE WAS.  So if Naz wanted to lose to him again...Razorblade started cackling, saying he appreciated the laugh before the six man before laughing a little bit more.

  • Razorblade's sarcastic laughs quickly got drowned out by Naz's loud fake ones, before el-Fadal said that there were some things White Blade couldn't laugh off: the help he got from Omar in January, or the month he spent in the hospital after their war in October.  He'd literally dogwalked Razorblade before - sweet Allah, he'd punked him out on QCW's biggest stage - so if we were here to have a larf about somebody's past failures, then he would laugh alllllmost as hard as he did watching a one legged Razorblade crawl around for the World title he just lost.

  • Both men were somehow both sarcastically and aggressively laughing at each other when a voice suddenly asked what was so funny.  Both Razorblade and Naz spun around to see a suddenly vocal and clearly salty Justice Davis, who's face pinched up even more before asking again what was so funny.  Razorblade started to say something to his estranged tag team partner but Naz talked over him, saying he was interrupting a meeting of the Grand Slam Club so the only purpose JD could serve was maybe fetching the elite of QCW  some champagne.  The sober living Davis responded by shoving Naz into a locker, the former World champion responded with a slap that got him slapped right back, and Razorblade stepped between them and broke up the beginnings of a fight while Naz let out a sinister, booming actual cackle that would've been right at home in Hysteria.  Davis was now yelling at Naz what was so funny, and Naz said the fact that people loved to try to paint him as some sort of hypocrite when really he was just the only man in QCW honest enough to tell the rabble that everything began and ended with a World championship he brought into the world that, with any luck, would outlive them all.

  • Naz was laughing because in 48 hours Justice was going to main event for the first time and he and Razorblade had done it so many times together and separately he had lost count.  Razorblade - someone else QCW had gotten on the cheap 5 years ago who Holmes took a chance on.  Who was seen as just the other guy in a tag team.  Who showed how sharp a blade could cut when he shoved it into his partner's back and took the spotlight, the glory, and the Fifteen Pounds for himself.  And if Naz remembered correctly - and of course he did - Razorblade never apologized, never looked back, just left his ex high and dry on the side of the road for Naz to run out of town while he stepped up all the way to being a double champion.  At least for now.  Justice had a Cup Naz should've had and a shot he should've had, but there was a reason why Naz went looking for Savage and not him: because for Justice to reign after Mayday Payday he'd have to cause a little mayhem and ditch his tag partner, hell, his hero and take the gold off him.  And up here in the rarefied air of the Grand Slam Club, if you couldn't get membership...well...it wouldn't be like getting driven through the announce table.  It would be like falling off of K2.  "And now we're supposed to get along and fight Les Religious Connards with the two of us carrying his other side piece.  HIL.  ARIOUS." el-Fadal stomped off, leaving Justice and Razorblade behind.

  • Razorblade told Justice to not worry about it; that's just how Naz is.  Justice, now talking for the first time in months, said that Naz was always going to be an asshole but he was right.  Razorblade struck out on his own and became the biggest name in QCW with two titles while he'd won the Duquesne Classic and somehow he still couldn't get out of Razorblade's shadow.  But come Sunday, that would all change when he became the double champion and shook off the shadow to become the top star in QCW.  His first match in QCW, sure, he'd lost to Razorblade...but his next match he was going to bring the same focus he'd brought in the Classic and silence Naz and anybody else who thought like him.  But tonight was his last night as the sidekick and maybe the last night of Savage Justice; it all depended on how well Razorblade handled things after Sunday.

  • Davis started to walk away but Razorblade stepped in front of him.  Savage started to explain that he didn't see him as a sidekick but JD just shook his head and went around Savage to exit himself.  An exasperated Savage called after him to no avail, then looked over into his locker where the World and National championships were hanging.  Razorblade put a belt over each shoulder, muttered "okay" a few times in a way that meant things clearly weren't before he had one thing to say to the empty room on his own way out the door:

"Time to shut up and fight."

  • Back to the ring, suddenly covered with lilies, black bunting around it and black candles next to two differently sized caskets, one much larger than the other.

  • Lights on.

  • Lights off.

  • The women of Hysteria stood in the ring cackling.  Nancy Crowley mocked the crowd's booing while Bonnie Agrippa “kindly” explained that to save time, they were going to have a funeral for the death of the College Park Family, in pace requiescat.  As she pointed to the smaller casket she said that on Sunday her and Nancy were going to put the title reign of the International Players six feet under - then she said pointing to the larger casket that Jupiter Jones might as well be dead.  That got the biggest boos of the night as Justine Danek grabbed a mic from Nancy and said that Jupiter's career had been dead for years before this spring.  With his plucky gang of misfits in disarray, there was no better time for Hysteria to deliver the last rights to the entirety of Collipark.  Bonnie said that soon Hysteria would dominate the World Tag Team championships just as they had the women's division.   It's entirely possible Agrippa would've continued her dark monologue had Science Fiction Double Feature of Collipark jumped out the caskets and started throwing hands like rice at a wedding, and they got some help as the Game Changers ran down the aisle to make it a fair four on four fight that soon sent Hysteria out to the floor.  Quality Force Security and the referee corps came down once Cindy Monet started throwing wreaths and black candles at Hysteria while Steve hyped the six woman tag coming up after the break.

  • 5. Hysteria (w/Bella Jolie) d. Science Fiction Double Feature and Ashley “THEE Influencer” Szabo (w/”Tiki God” Al Buffett) at 10:41 Monet, Jane Doe and Szabo kept that energy up when the break was over and the match began.  The referee had a hard time controlling things as Cindy and even Jane were more than willing to punch away and hit double teams well into five counts.  SFDF hit a combo powerbomb neckbreaker on Crowley and Cindy tried to end it but Bonnie and Justine came in for a save that triggered a Pier 6.  The women were all brawling when Bella Jolie proved to be the difference maker on the floor, blinding Al with a spray of blue mist that quickly put him to sleep like four plates of Thanksgiving dinner.  Hysteria managed to get and keep the upper hand after that distracted Ashley, sending her and Jane from the ring before executing a brilliant gambit to win: Justine blind tagging Bonnie before Nancy tagged Justine, leaving Justine to shove Bonnie out of the way of Cindy's Tightrope lariat.  The legal Nancy ran to Hysteria's corner where Justine tagged back in and they took Cindy out with a combination Chaos Theory from Crowley and Buckshot lariat from Danek while Bonnie brainbustered Jane into the ring apron.  Justine flopped on top of Cindy for the three count and another notch in Hysteria's winning streak.  After the match the International Players came out and slid in the ring as Hysteria rolled out, the champs checking on their laid out friends while Hysteria cackled and said there would be a black celebration once the World Tag Team titles belonged to them.

  • Sunday night is the Mayday Payday PPV from Minneapolis and Steve ran down the card: on the preshow, Shelley LaVey vs. Lolo Vuitton and Ashok Banjerjee tags with Jacques Krieger to face the All Starr Stable’s A Cut Above.

  • On the main card: the Cooper Brothers from Sky's the Limit make their PPV debut against Beast Mode 🟪 Malicía Fernandez will go one on one with Orion 🟩 In a rematch from the Duquesne Classic semifinal, Pyotr Caviar looks to notch back to back wins against Nazir el-Fadal 🟪 the International Players defend the World Tag Team championships against Bonnie Agrippa and Nancy Crowley of Hysteria 🟩 “Night Sky” Diana Spare puts the Women's World championship on the line against Fiona Fogg 🟪 And in the main event, Duquesne Classic winner Justice Davis goes for the World and National championships against former and/or current partner, the Double Champ himself, Razorblade

  • 6. Team Batroc and “the Purifier” Caleb Gray (w/the Chosen) fought Nazir el-Fadal and Savage Justice to a double countout at 9:40 It's entirely possible that had this been three singles matches, Team Antihero (for lack of a better term) might’ve run the table and gone 3-0.  Despite tension throughout the six man tag they got out to an early lead.  But as the match went on, the backbiting between them picked up where things backstage left off.  Blind tags and backtalk started happening, leading to Naz running into a brick wall disguised as a Pyotr Caviar running crossbody.  Caviar landed a couple of overhead belly to belly suplexes before turning things over to Serge who would eventually turn things over to Caleb as both men got a measure of revenge on el-Fadal for eliminating him from the Duquesne.  Naz tried to fight his way out of trouble but the Chosen distracted the referee, allowing Drake Tremble a cheapshot that set up Team Batroc to land the Arc de Triomphe on the One Man Jihad.  Goody Gardner dropped down from the apron as Serge went for the cover but Razorblade and then Justice hit the ring to break up the count.  That triggered a Pier 6 but unlike the women's trios match, things never really settled back down.  Razorblade fought Serge around ringside while Justice chased Caleb to the back in hot pursuit, and Naz rolled to the outside only to get put through the dividing barrier by another Caviar crossbody.  With Naz down and Serge still brawling with Razorblade now in the concourse, the ref called for the bell, leaving fans temporarily disappointed until Justice re-emerged – flying off the balcony with a cannonball that took out Batroc and Savage both.  The fans were chanting “Queue Cee Dub!” as we got a shot of the laid out Justice, Mason and Serge to end the show.  See you in Minneapolis Sunday night for the Mayday Payday PPV!

FDSN Florida Presents QCW Ruckus [s4e25 • May 2nd, 2025]

📺 live on FanDuel Sports Network Florida

📍 Quality Arena in Parts Unknown, FL

  • A video package recapped the crazy events of last week's main event, which saw Razorblade retain the QCW National championship over “the Purifier” Caleb Gray before catching a beatdown from the Chosen. Even though Justice Davis was on the scene he did nothing to intervene and to the surprise of everyone watching Razorblade's eternal rival Nazir el-Fadal came to the rescue, helping to clear the ring in incredible scenes that left Quality Arena stunned, Davis furious, Naz smirking, and the Double Champ understandably confused.

  • Business as usual inside the crown jewel of Parts Unknown on a Friday night, with one notable exception: Julius Duquesne III is now at the announce (at least for this week) on color, replacing Carl Christensen after his anti-Ig shoot promo last week got him fired by the Interim Commissioner.

  • 1. Fiona Fogg d. Luz Cruz at 10:53 via submission At the outset of the year this would've been a Women's World championship match between a happy go lucky Fogg and the leader of Hysteria, but things change fast in QCW.  Cruz has had a rough few weeks while the recently turned Fogg finds herself quickly climbing the women's division ladder.  Fiona, now demanding to be known as Her Excellency, fought Luz to a standstill in the opening couple of minutes and countered a corner charge from Cruz with a big double stomp to take over.  Fogg wore down Cruz and hit a gourdbuster over the top rope before snatching the splayed out Cruz and landing a delayed gourdbuster mid ring for a nearfall.  Shortly thereafter a confident Fogg tried to maneuver Cruz into position for her increasingly signature Koji Clutch, but the proud Puerto Rican fended it off and landed a rolling fireman’s carry slam.  La Reina of the Ropes started reaching into her lucha libre bag, coming back with a string of offense; a second rope seated senton set up a high elevation shotgun dropkick off the ropes that sent Fiona over the top and out to the floor, but she wasn't safe there as Luz flew over the top and wiped Fogg out with a step up tope con hilo that got the faithful fired up.  Cruz dished out everything she ate and then some, going around the horn to counter a Flatliner attempt with a Gory especial neckbreaker.  With Fogg down, Luz went up for the move that won her the Women's World championship last fall but the Brit dodged away from the double jump moonsault and slammed a slightly limping Cruz down to the canvas with a snap swinging Flatliner before floating over into the Koji Clutch.  Cruz struggled in the hold and managed to pull towards the ropes, but Fogg viciously torqued Cruz's neck back and forth while maintaining the hold until Cruz tapped out to Fogg’s Crowning Achievement.

  • After replays and getting her hand raised, Fogg sidled up to Duck Eko and handed him an index card that he grudgingly read saying that with three wins over two former World champions that the next one to fall would be that street trash Diana Spare at Mayday Payday and that whole these commoners didn't deserve it, they would finally get a Women's World champion they could hold in high esteem.  “But until the next, Your Excellency is done blessing you with her presence.”

  • Pyotr Caviar (w/Serge Batroc) and Justice Davis fought to a no contest This match technically never happened; Davis came out first to a big mixed reaction but when Team Batroc came out they got laid out before they could even make it halfway down the ramp.  Nazir el-Fadal used a surfboard to pummel Serge but saved his hardest shots for Pyotr and didn't stop swinging until Justice left the ring and headed up the ramp to get in Naz’s face.  JD gestured towards the fallen Pyotr, which drew some off mic smack talking from the One Man Jihad.  Justice didn't respond until Naz poked him in the chest a few times, then Davis took him down with a double leg and started throwing hands.  el-Fadal soon responded in kind, and both men fought on the ramp until Quality Force Security came out and broke them up.  The Qualitron whirred to sudden life with an appearance from Interim Commissioner Ig de Catur, who got booed right until he announced a new main event for tonight: Justice vs. Naz.  We went to break with Naz threatening to add Justice to his list of ass whoopings on the evening and Davis staring back angrily as QFS led Naz backstage.

  • After the break we got an emotional promo from Collipark, who were clearly shaken by the loss of their mentor.  Cindy Monet mentioned that while they couldn't bring back Jupiter themselves, they could fight for him.  The International Players lit into Hysteria for making fun of his firing and not respecting the man who made modern day QCW possible.  So if they wanted to be disrespectful, they’d beat some respect into them at Mayday Payday and even put the World Tag Team championships on the line to make sure they showed up.  It would be Hysteria who Collipark destroyed in Minneapolis.

  • As Sky’s the Limit hit the ring we got replays of what happened last week when their partners of Beauty and the Beast Mode turned on them in an eight man tag and left all the QCW newbies laid out, as well as Lolo Vuitton taking out months of frustration on their then partner in the Culture, Shelley LaVey.  Kam Ellis, the hard nosed brawler of StL looked to get a measure of revenge here.

  • 2. “Dashing” Pierce Moore (w/”These Hands” Roy Fade and Lolo Vuitton) d. Kam Ellis (w/Sky’s the Limit) at 9:52 But in his QCW singles debut, he fell to the Baron of Beverly Hills.  Moore came out with his usual partner Fade and Vuitton instead of LaVey but the bigger Ellis took it to Moore early on and kept his foot on the gas, clearly ahead on points most of the way.  After dropping Moore with a Blue Thunder bomb, Ellis headed to the top rope to put some finishing touches on the fight but Lolo hopped up on the apron to provide her unique set of distractions.  Sky’s Cooper Brothers were able to talk her down from the apron while Tre Boyd yelled at all three of his friends to tighten up.  Ellis nodded and flew off the top rope with a Shooting Star Press only for Moore to roll out of the way and let him crash land into the canvas, then Pierce planted him with back to back Fresh To Death cutters to pick up the win.

  • After replays we saw a disappointed Kam heading up the ramp with Boyd coming down on him hard while the Coopers tried to get Tre to ease up on him a bit.  In ring, Lolo said that she had something to say: all 3 of them were tired of the disrespect and people trying to push them aside for what they thought the new hotness was when they brought the heat 26/8/372.  The Culture never did anything for them so as far as they were concerned, the Culture was dead; it was just Beast Mode now, and silly ass Jane Doe would find out how much later when Lolo used her face to clean off the bottom of her designer shoes. The newly named Beast Mode walked off to boos while Ruckus headed into commercials.

  • 3. Evan O'Neill and Prince Ootsuka (w/“Upper Class” Broderick Palmer II and S. Mark Starr) d. “Swamp Pride” Ted Holland and Robert E. Moonshine at 6:19 With A Cut Above unable to challenge again for the World Tag Team championships, Starr put together ACA’s O’Neill with his muscle Ootsuka as a new team that’d possibly challenge for the belts after some Ws under their belts down the line.  Ted and Robert didn't go down without a fight, but go down they did after an Ootsuka cobra clutch slam set up O’Neill’s One Last Chance off the top.  Evan pinned Moonshine after he hit it and post match all seemed right with the Stable as Broderick enthusiastically gave his partners their verbal flowers.

  • Without JD3 to temper him, Nazir el-Fadal cut a scathing promo that got him bleeped a couple of times, calling Pyotr a no-hit wonder that'd had everything handed to him while Naz had to surf his way to recognition just to get signed to QCW.  French Gollum had opened every door and the scared little fish roe wouldn't walk through them so Naz would kick them all down like he had all decade to eat him alive In Minneapolis and put him on the same side of the milk carton he’d put Omar Littlefield on.  As for tonight's main event against Mutey McGee?  Well, Naz knew just like his rabble did that had HE made the finals of the Duquesne he would've beaten Davis and won the Cup but beating Justice's ass tonight would not only send a message to Pyotr but remind everyone else on the roster that Jihad Season Had Returned courtesy of Nazir el-Fadal - the Greatest Man Alive.  Naz walked off to cheers, bizarre as that still is.

  • 4. Orion d. Bella Jolie (w/Hysteria) at 9:50 A bit of a side quest for the Queen of the Cosmos, who’s still hoping to get a match versus Malicía Fernandez at Mayday Payday for revenge over what happened at Golden Rule.  Bella hung tough with Orion the whole way but as noted by Julius on commentary the rest of Hysteria weren't helping Bella survive the rough waters and spent more time looking over their shoulders for retribution from Collipark than lending their usual assists.  Orion didn't cruise to victory but was a step ahead the whole way, finishing off Jolie after a satellite DDT and Orion's Nebula.  Orion slid out of the ring as the rest of Hysteria slid in, celebrating up the ramp into the last commercial break.

  • Shelley LaVey cut a short promo taped in an empty Quality Arena Earlier Today, saying that while she was pissed off at Beauty and the Beast Mode for backstabbing her last week she knew they weren't smart enough to come up with a plan like that on their own, so she was coming for the trick who was probably behind the whole thing.  Lolo Vuitton liked bloody shoes?  Well, Shelley liked getting her hands dirty - and they'd be plenty bloody soon because once she saw Lolo again she was going to show that so-called Miss Thang just how low a Fallen Angel could really get and Lolo wouldn't see it coming.

  • 5. Lolo Vuitton (w/Beast Mode) d. Jane Doe (w/Collipark) at 7:12 If Lolo heard Shelley's words in that pretape they didn't shake her, as she overcame a rough start to post a win here.  Jane’s unorthodox offense put the ATLien ahead early, and she used it to throw off Lolo’s rhythm earlier.  Jane even used the Lady of the Lake hold to confuse Lolo, luring the three times former Women's World champion over before pulling her in and pulling her into the same hold.  Unfortunately, Jane found out in short order that Lolo is the sort of woman who fights better pissed off as Vuitton sort of rolled herself into the corner and used the ropes to untangle herself.  Then Vuitton beat Jane like a rented goalie the rest of the way in front of an increasingly psyched Beast Mode and increasingly down Collipark.  Lolo hit a cutter to set up the Decision and followed it up with the Bloody Shoe to get the win.

  • But the moment Lolo started to get her hand raised the lights went out.  When they came back on – nothing happened, allowing the International Players and Cindy Monet time to get into the ring and check on Jane - just in time for Hysteria to emerge from under the ring and stomp out Collipark again.  Hysteria stood tall as Justine and Bella handed the World Tag Team championships over to Bonnie and Nancy, who cackled as they held up the belts over the fallen and adrift Family.

  • 💫 Next week's Ruckus 💫 is the final stop before Mayday Payday.  On deck?  Malicía Fernandez and Fiona Fogg face off against Orion and Women's World champion “Night Sky Diana Spare in a PPV preview tag bout | ¾ths of Hysteria will be in trios action against Science Fiction Double Feature and Ashley “THEE Influencer” Szabo | and there’ll be a preview of the whole PPV card

  • 6. Justice Davis and Nazir el-Fadal fought to a double countout at 11:05  Fitting that a match that was essentially a coin flip the entire time ended without a winner.  These things happen.  Early back and forth action saw both men get three two counts in the opening ninety seconds, causing QA to erupt in applause.  As they stared at each other down, Naz took in the crowd’s reaction and offered up a golf claps before offering a handshake.  Davis thought about it for a few beats before going for it, but Naz suddenly went for an eye poke only for JD to do the 3 Stooges block and forearm him down to the mat.  Justice got a bit of momentum going right until he ran into a springboard European uppercut from Naz, who took over the next couple of minutes of the fight.  Naz continued his streak of offense and had Davis set up for an Iconoclasm, but the #1 contender fended Naz off and used an off-kilter hurancanrana to send the One Man Jihad out to the floor.  JD followed up with a cannonball off the apron to flatten Naz on the floor as the announcers noted the dueling chants bouncing off each other in the Arena.  Davis got el-Fadal back into the ring and after failing to keep Naz down for three continued on the offensive with palpable malice behind his forearms to Naz’s upper back and neck, while a cut to backstage showed the Double Champ Razorblade watching the match on a monitor with an unreadable expression on his face.  Davis seemed to finally break the stalemate of the match after pinballing Naz around for a couple of minutes but when he went for the Davis Driver, the self proclaimed Greatest Man Alive countered with a vicious Saito suplex and followed that up by hitting his Heat Check cobra clutch Lungblower to swing the seesaw back in his direction.  Both men were down, then charged at each other and clotheslined each other down.  But driven by spite, both men nipped up at the count of 5, shook off clotheslines twice, then traded hard forearm shots which led to dueling rolling forearm smashes before Naz stomped Davis’ foot and finally won the battle with a Hamrin Valley Driver.  After staggering up at 7, Naz called for the end and went for Nazquil, only for Davis to quickly spin almost on instinct and lay him out with a JDDDT.  Naz managed to break JD’s grip but a massive knee to the breadbasket left him wide open for a second JDDDT that sent him bouncing off the mat and spilling out to the floor.

  • Naz tried to get his bearings about him, and when Davis tried to grab him from behind el-Fadal pivoted and tried to shove him into the ringpost - but JD managed to pull up, pivot, and plant Naz with a third JDDDT, this time on the floor.  Clearly irate, Davis began clearing off the announce table; as Steve and Julius made sure they were out of the line of fire, Razorblade made his way from the back with both titles in tow and got to the bottom of the ramp right when the zebra’s count hit 10.

  • But it was clear in short order Justice didn't care about that given how his evening had gone thanks to Naz scuttling his first match and giving him such a battle in the second; what he wanted to do was use yet another JDDDT to drive el-Fadal through the announce table.  Instead, what he got was a dose of Nazquil that left both men unmoving in the table’s wreckage and the good people of Parts Unknown uncorking a “HOLY SHIT!” chant that got bleeped out on FDSN.  Amidst the carnage, a voice made themselves heard: Interim Commissioner Ig de Catur, who was on the Qualitron 9000 and talked over the sea of boos by saying that he had something that would make even the whiners in the cheap seats cheer: an announcement of next week's Ruckus main event where in six man action “the Purifier” Caleb Gray and Team Batroc would face – well, once they recovered – Nazir el-Fadal…and a reunited Savage Justice.  Ig flashed a smirk before the Tron blipped out, and Razorblade went from glaring at the Tron to looking across the Arena where Naz was blowing snot rockets into the fallen Davis to a 60 v. 40 positive reaction from the Quality Controllers.  Catch you back here in 166 hours for the Mayday Payday go home edition of Ruckus!

FDSN Florida Presents QCW Ruckus [s4e24 • April 25th, 2025]

📺 live on FanDuel Sports Network Florida

📍Quality Arena in Parts Unknown, FL

  • We got the usual open to Patti B’s “Invincible” and the Cavalcade of Champions to kick off our Friday night before we said hello to the raucous Quality Controllers.  The big 3 were at their usual spots inside sold out Quality Arena, Steve Vandeblanche hyped up Nazir el-Fadal vs. Drake Tremble and the Golden Rule rematch in the main event between Razorblade and Caleb Gray with the National championship on the before in ring action kicked off from Parts Unknown…

  • 1. Pyotr Caviar (w/Serge Batroc) d. “The Fury” Jim Jaspers (w/”the Proper King” Richard Windsor) at 11:14 …hard hitting action at that, as long time rivals reignited with the Duquesne Classic runner up eventually pulling out a victory.  Old Jim made him work hard for it by starting off hot, surprising Steve by being willing to stand tough while eating and throwing European uppercuts back and forth with Caviar before finally knocking him off his feet with a flying headbutt off of the ropes.  Jaspers sat on Caviar and landed a few open handed palm strikes before Caviar was able to knock him off, but the Fury got the massive Caviar off his feet again with a half and half suplex.  Serge jumped on the apron and narrowly dodged a Jaspers swing, only to find himself jumping off into a faceoff with Windsor on the outside.  Windsor smiled at his old boss as he slipped on brass knuckles while in the ring Jaspers stopped a Russian sickle attempt with a headbutt.  It left Jim woozy but he shook it off and went for a pump knee only to get wiped out by a Russian sickle.  Caviar followed it up with a second one that sent Jaspers over the top rope to the floor, then followed him out and launched him with an overhead belly to belly suplex.  The Brit used the dividing wall to pull himself up then got driven through it with a gigantic Caviar running crossbody.  Once he got free of the wreckage, Pyotr tossed Jim back into the ring and took a couple more minutes to wipe the canvas with the weakened Jaspers before bringing things to an end with Hit My Music.

  • With Serge behind him smiling to beat the band, Caviar had a simple message for one of the corner camera people: “Naz, I am windshield, and you little insect, bro. I come smash him just because - so what make you think next time against me end up any different?”

  • As Duck Eko started to get up to make the introductions for the next match, Carl Christensen suddenly got up from the table, whipped off his headphones and grabbed the mic from Duck.  They briefly exchanged words that made Eko blanch a little bit as Carl got into the ring and made sure the mic worked, then things went upside down, inside out and backwards.  Carl was pissed off because he felt like Interim Commissioner Ig de Catur tried to bribe him with a replica title while he was decommissioning other ones, then after firing a legend in Jupiter Jones he and Steve got called on the carpet and told to shut up about it, to not do their jobs, and he’d had to sit down and stew last week and act like everything was fine (behind him we saw a couple of fans in the front row take off Razorblade shirts and reveal ones that said BRING BACK JUPITER) when someone who was like a nephew to him got fired.  Maybe Ig was doing this because the Scoop Republic stock was nose diving, but that had nothing to do with – and suddenly Quality Force Security was on the scene, four of them surrounding the front row fans and leading them out through the concourse while the other 8 surrounded Carl at ringside and a furious Ig popped up on the Qualitron 9004 yelling to cut Carl’s mic now.  A furious Ig said he was here to make things more efficient, not to just let people live off of names they made two of three decades ago.  Dropping the Crush championship was for the greater good, losing the dead weight of Mr. Jones’ contract - and the crowd booed that for nearly a minute straight, some even audibly breaking out into “[EFF] YOU, IG!” chants which put another couple of stress lines on de Catur’s forehead.  Ig said that all these were QCW problems he was fixing, and he wished Carl good luck on his upcoming clickbait-y podcast, because no washed up has been was going to hijack his show.  He then fired Carl to boos and blipped off the Tron while Steve sputtered and tripped over his words at the desk.  The Quality Controllers booed this loudly but Carl shrugged and tossed Duck the mic.  The former QCW champion waved goodbye to the crowd and while QFS flanked him and escorted him up the ramp he didn't even look too pissed off about it.  A light “Thank you, Carl!” chant lasted for a bit before a bigger “BRING BACK JUPITER!” one took it's place.

  • A visibly shaken Steve threw to a video package, which highlighted moments from last week’s show where Hysteria made fun of the College Park Family over Jupiter Jones’ sudden firing by Interim Commissioner Ig a couple of weeks ago like the one he just gave Carl.  That led to a singles match between Collipark’s Cindy Monet and Hysteria's Nancy Crowley that started off hostile and degenerated from there, with Monet getting intentionally DQed after a wicked chair shot and Hysteria responding by laying out her and the other remaining members of the Family (Cindy's partner Jane Doe and the World Tag Team champions the International Players).

  • 2. Bonnie Agrippa and Nancy Crowley of Hysteria (w/Justine Danek and Bella Jolie) d. Science Fiction Double Feature (w/Collipark) at 9:47 No literal blood in this one, but they fought at blood feud intensity throughout a match that was just a hair shy of being a Pier 4.  The no longer Forbidden Agrippa and Crowley made sure to focus the bulk of their fury on Cindy Monet in the early going, both cackling after they sandwiched her with rolling elbows and dropped her.  The Hysterians halved the ring and used quick tags to wear her down for a couple of minutes but got surprised when Cindy turned defense into offense off a double Irish whip and hit Crowley with a handspring enzuigiri that sent Nancy into a heads first collision with Bonnie.  That gave Monet the opening she needed to tag in Jane Doe, and the ATLien wasted no time hitting the ring and making the odds a little bit more even.  Doe fired off hard back elbows, big knife edge chops and even fired off a noggin knocker that dropped B&N before turning to Cindy and giving her a thumbs up.  Doe started rolling until Justine and Bella on the floor started stalking the World Tag Team champion International Players.  That got Jane's attention and that caused her to miss a blind tag on the Hysteria side and after a tandem cheap shot to knock Cindy off the apron they isolated Jane and laid her out with a spike brainbuster.  Bonnie made the cover while Nancy stopped any chance of a Cindy save by wiping her out with a tope suicida, and Hysteria picked up the win.  It looked like Hysteria was going to celebrate the win with another post match beatdown of the Family but the Players slid into the ring with chairs to protect SFDF and caused Hysteria to bail from the ring.  The new age coven all cackled, with Bonnie and Nancy both pointing at the Players and making a Very Familiar Gesture around their waists.  Then Agrippa snapped her fingers as she is wont to do.

  • Lights off.

  • Lights on.

  • No Hysteria; just a recovering College Park Family for the second week in a row.

  • From there we went TOTHEBACK~!, where Julius Duquesne III brought out his special guest Orion to a good pop from the crowd.  Through a robotized voice app, Orion said that the only reason that Malicía Fernandez was still undefeated was that she didn't have the ovaries to face them one on one.  Malicía was the reason they didn't get the Dealer's Choice as Golden Rule, so maybe with another PPV on the horizon she'd find a little more courage.  Orion then dared Malicía to go one-on-one at Mayday Payday, promising that if Fernandez accepted she'd learn the hard way that the fastest rising star wasn't the skyscraper from south of the border - it was the Queen of the Cosmos.  Orion thanked Jules for his time and Duquesne III threw things to Duck Eko in the ring to make intros for the next match...

  • 3. Women's World champion “Night Sky” Diana Spare d. “Explosive” Emily Bennett in a non-title match at 6:27 As Bennett came to the ring we saw highlights of her winning a main event fatal four way on Unleashed, and Emily started off well against Spare.  A springboard lariat got Bennett a two count and she continued rolling until she hit a brick wall disguised as a Bosswoman Slam from The Champ.  Spare used her power to grind down Bennett until she put her away with a buckle bomb that set up her trusty Nightfall.

  • After replays, Spare cut a brief promo that had some brief complaints about Ig decommissioning the Crush championship but said that if she was down to one championship she'd have to be twice as dangerous.  Spare said she’d frayed Hysteria at the seams and spent all year running the women's division, so if Luz Cruz, Fiona Fogg, the witch bitches (she said it tho) or anyone else wanted a crack at her she wasn't the type to go down without a fight.  She liked fights - especially because she usually won them.  Spare dropped the mic and walked out with the Fifteen Pounds of Gold while the announce wondered what was up next for the reigning champion.

  • 4. Nazir el-Fadal d. “The Paragon” Drake Tremble (w/the Chosen) by disqualification at 8:38 Two former three time champions kicked off the second hour by throwing hands.  For both men cheating is a feature, not a bug, so it took a while for the first big move in the match to come courtesy of Naz's Heat Check even though Tremble kicked out of the cobra clutch Lungblower at an early 2.  el-Fadal continued rolling until Tremble slipped a Nazquil attempt a few minutes later and drilled a Halo Effect that sent Naz spilling to the outside.  Tremble had to be kept from going after Naz - which, of course allowed Caleb Gray to cheapshot the man who bounced him from the Duquesne Classic this year by giving him a Stun Gun that bounced the One Man Jihad off the announce table.  The Paragon got Naz back into the ring and worked him over, even snuffing out a brief Naz rally by clocking him with another Halo Effect for a deep two count.  Tremble continued beating down and got Naz in position to finish him off with Repentance but el-Fadal kicked his legs until he slipped out the back then quickly pounced with a surprise Nazquil to make Drake kiss canvas.  Naz hooked a leg but before the 3 could come down the End Times yanked him out of the ring and started pummelling him on the floor, causing a DQ.

  • But the Chosen didn't care about that, they cared about sending a message and with a 5 on 1 advantage they did exactly that.   After the End Times got done with the double team on the outside, they tossed Naz into the ring for Tremble to lay him out with Repentance.  Goody Gardner even got in some slaps to the fallen Naz while the End Times and Tremble bowed as Caleb Gray entered the ring to scoop up Naz and lay him out with Repent.  The Chosen stood in formation behind the slowly rising Gray as el-Fadal lay motionless on the canvas; Steve noted from the desk that The Purifier got his revenge on Naz for eliminating him from the Duquesne Classic and that despite all the love from crowds for the past few weeks, given his history with most of the locker room it wasn't surprising to see no one come to Naz’s aid.

  • We saw a recap of the Jacques Krieger/Prince Ootsuka match and Ashok Banjerjee’s attempted post match save from last week followed by some Quality Social posts and video featuring the Stable in full on gloat ahead of their eight man tag (coming up next), Banjerjee saying that he wasn't done going after the Stable and making several apologies to Krieger, and Krieger making a rare post saying that he didn't need a rando sidekick in his tries to get revenge on the Stable.

  • 5. The All Starr Stable & Hawk Carter (w/S. Mark Starr) fought Beauty and the Beast Mode & Sky’s the Limit’s Cooper Brothers (w/Tre Boyd, Kam Ellis and Shelley LaVey) to a no contest at 9:38 While the Stable looked good early, it didn't take long for the babyfaces to get the upper hand.  B&BM got the upper hand, then the Coopers got in and did their thing.  “These Hands” Roy Fade looked pissed and tagged himself in, but after some offense DeMarius Cooper tagged himself in and the game of “Can you top this?” was on.  But the friendly competition took a turn when Fade and “Dashing” Pierce Moore exchanged a look before suddenly laying out the Coopers.

  • The heels looked confused while Starr told them to get out of the possible line of fire just in time for the Coopers to return fire on Fade and Moore.  The Coopers were beginning to win the Pier 4 when Fade went low on DeMarius and Moore hit a sudden Fresh To Death on DeMarcus, causing Tre Boyd and Kam Ellis to hit the ring and back up their boys.

  • Shelley LaVey had gotten up on the apron to plead with them all to stop fighting but she got yanked off and thrown into the retaining barrier by Lolo Vuitton, who followed up by landing a Bloody Shoe that sent Shelley up and over it into the front row.  Moore low blowed Boyd and hit another Fresh To Death while Vuitton tossed Fade brass knuckles that he used to drop Boyd like a stone in a lake.  Having laid out the entirety of Sky’s the Limit, Mode left the ring to boos and were followed up the ramp in short order by Lolo, and the three of them walked up the ramp together before stopping at the top of the ramp to glare out at the jeers.  Fade talked some smack at the crowd while Steve wondered why the hell the three of them had done what they did: Roy Fade, Pierce Moore and Lolo Vuitton had all turned back to the dark side and thrown both Sky’s the Limit and Shelley LaVey under the bus in the process.

  • We got a This Week In QCW History segment, highlighting the opening of the original Quality Arena on April 22nd, 1960 and Caleb Gray being crowned the inaugural National champion last April 24th by a certain Ig de Catur after winning the Duquesne Classic last year.

  • On 💫 next week's Ruckus💫, the penultimate one before Mayday Payday has some big matches set as Bella Jolie from Hysteria will take on Orion | Luz Cruz goes one on one with Fiona Fogg | and in a rematch of the Duquesne Classic final, Pyotr Caviar will get another chance at the #1 contender Justice Davis.

  • 6. Mason “Razorblade” Savage d. “The Purifier” Caleb Gray (w/the Chosen) to retain the QCW National championship at 10:51 This feud has been going on for months between two different men who plan don't like each other, evidenced immediately when Gray charged The Double Champ at the bell and walked right into a spinebuster that got Razorblade 2½ and almost ended things 10 seconds into the fight.  True to form, a fight is what Savage made things as he threw his trademark heavy right hands early and often.  Razorblade was ahead on points when he went for a big boot, only to get surprised and dropped by a cyclone kick from Gray.  Once Reap the Whirlwind connected, The Purifier tried to toss Mason from the ring but a grotesque accident saw Razorblade get his head stuck between the top and middle ropes on the way down to leave him in a hangman position as he tried to kick himself free.  Gray’s idea of Christianity meant that he was right there to take advantage; first he fired off some right hands on the suffocating Savage until he had knocked him to the floor, then he followed him out and threw him head and shoulder first into the steps before leaping on the announce table and posing with his arms outstretched.  His loyal followers chanted “Faith over fear!” while he got Razorblade back in the ring for a nearfall.  Gray worked over the man who’d beaten him at Golden Rule with shots to the back of the neck and short range knee strikes, and even planted Razorblade with a spinebuster receipt that got a 2¾ count that had Steve holding his breath just as much as anyone else inside Quality Arena.  Gray landed a couple of follow up suplexes and went in to end it with Repent, but Razorblade slipped out the back before grabbing Gray and launching him shoulder first into the ringpost – then doing it again into another ringpost - and again into a third - and finally completing the cycle with a fourth ringpost toss.  A limp Gray was easy pickings for The Double Champ to muscle into position for the Soul Crusher, which landed clean and gave Razorblade another successful defense of the QCW National Championship.

  • The Chosen had the reaction to this that you’d expect, hitting the ring to go after The Champ.  Razorblade landed some good shots before getting the business end of a 4 on 1 beatdown with Goody Gardner screeching at her crew to make him (Razorblade) believe from the floor.  The crowd's reaction shifted to cheers as Justice Davis walked out from the back – then quickly soured as Davis stood on the ramp and watched.  Steve joined most of us at home wondering why JD wasn't doing anything and then wondered if Justice wasn't going to help try to save Razorblade, who would?

  • Even if I gave you a dozen guesses, you probably would have never come up with Nazir el-Fadal, who shoved Davis out of his way and sped down to the ring.  He stopped at the ring apron and lifted up the curtain, rooting around until he found…a jug of water.   You know, that legendary weapon.  Naz came in the ring and tossed the water on the Chosen, who were more aghast then anything else.  While they were sputtering, Naz pulled a taser out from his boot and planted it squarely into Drake Tremble's chest; the Paragon's screams at being shocked got drowned out by the crowd's joyous shock at seeing Tremble flop to then on the canvas like a fish out of water.  That was all Caleb and Goody needed to see to bail from the ring and halfway up the ramp, but that left the End Times between the ropes with a pissed off Champ and an armed Naz.  The Times told Naz to drop the taser, which el-Fadal slowly did.  Danny Castle and Dr. Martin Williams squared up, charged – and got.  Their shit.  ROCKED.  Razorblade and Naz - let me reiterate - RAZORBLADE AND NAZ - swung on the acolytes like they were Aaron Judge and Mike Trout in the Home Run Derby.  Steve broke nearly 30 straight seconds of silence with a booming “WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!” and even that got lost quickly in the tidal wave of “HOLY SHIT!” chants that rolled through Quality Arena.  Dr. Williams ate a dose of Nazquil while Castle ate a king sized lariat from The Champ.  The End Times were cleared from the ring and joined the rest of the Chosen on the floor…leaving Razorblade in the ring, so stunned he didn't even pick up the Fifteen Pounds of Gold off the canvas.  All he could do was stare at Naz as if he'd never seen his biggest rival of the past four years before.  Naz smiled and shrugged at Mason before both men looked up the ramp where Justice was still in the exact same spot he’d been for the past five chaotic  minutes.  But for the first time in weeks, maybe months, there wasn't a blank look on JD’s face - just anger.  After a lingering look at the furious #1 contender the credits box came up; Ruckus faded to black after we saw a smirk creeping over the face of the One Man Jihad while Razorblade’s expression clearly wondered how a simple title defense had opened up the portal to Earth-2.  Hell, maybe Earth-3?
