UNO Lakefront Arena | New Orleans, LA
Aired live on GRPL+ | April 12, 2024
With tonight being a special edition of Ruckus, the show opened with a lot of establishing shots of New Orleans while “Get Up” by the Hot 8 Brass Band played in the background. Highlights of multiple QCW stars played under a green filter while a disembodied and robotic voice welcomed us to Jackpot.
We went inside the jam-packed UNO Lakefront Arena where Steve Vandeblanche and Carl Christensen welcomed us to a super sized edition of Ruckus that would see Autumn Powers vs. Nazir el-Fadal in a non-title main event as well as a Women's World championship match between Sohla Patel and her longtime rival Luz Cruz, but tonight would begin with the first of two semifinal matches in the Duquesne Classic…
1.. Omar Littlefield [c] v. Witchfinder General in a Duquesne Classic semifinal for the GRPL+ World TV title
As Witchfinder made his way down the aisle, QCW Rewind jumped backwards to Unleashed to show WG and Omar teaming up to face Ashley THEE Influencer and Lolo Vuitton. Unsurprisingly General and Littlefield failed to get along at any point, leading to WG slapping Omar and getting folded into sections as a result; after Omar left, the ladies picked up the scraps and Lolo got the pin on General.
So WG came into the match pissed off, aka Omar's default mode especially since he captured the TV title back in January. The Quality Controllers had fun booing both men as the early moments saw Witchfinder frequently leaning between the ropes if not outright leaving the ring to try and slow the momentum of Littlefield.
Like most things in life, it worked until it didn't, and when it didn't it was Ass Whoop O'Clock and the World Television champion was right on time. Littlefield beat Witchfinder down, and when WG tried slapping him again, Littlefield blocked it with such force it spun General around and left him wide open for a receipt slap that nearly sent him out of the ring. Omar got a head start before nearly turning Witchfinder into a paste with an avalanche splash. WG fell at his feet and a slow, sick smile came over Omar’s face as he stepped on Witchfinder and went up to the second rope.

Wait, what?
The crowd also looked confused but then popped as Ashok Banjerjee came out in a grey and green sari, Littlefield whipping his head towards the entrance and Ashok in front of the Tron.
Ashok sarcastically asked everyone to give it up for the biiiiig, baaaaaad Omar Littlefield! He never lost ..well, except that one time at Golden Rule…
…and Omar stepped over the top rope and went to the floor before speed walking up the ramp. Quality Force security came out and flooded the ramp, acting as a virtual wall between Banjerjee and Omar. Ashok assured the security he was just fine, then lifted the mic up to inform Omar that he was going to lose because of Ashok Banjerjee again right now.
Omar snarled at him and then turned around a beat before the referee called out “10!”, turning back towards Duck to let him know of the official decision…
Witchfinder General d. Omar Littlefield by countout at 8:38 to advance to the finals of the Duquesne Classic; Littlefield retains the GRPL+ World TV title
Omar jogged down to the ring coincidentally as the ref was removing themselves from it; Witchfinder got up just in time to catch Omar's wrath and a pair of Face Erasers to protest the decision, so to speak. Omar went to ringside and snatched up his belt before marching towards the back – this time when he hit the ramp, he was the only one standing on it.
From there we went TOTHEBACK~!, Enya Face was waiting to bring on her guest: the One Man Jihad, Nazir el-Fadal.
The crowd booed as Naz slowly limped onto the set with a walking cane helping him arrive on the scene. Enya asked him about the cane and he mockingly said that it was all the rage on the runways of Milan and Oslo before getting serious and saying that after last week's debacle in the main event he shouldn't even be here let alone main eventing with a limp.
But despite Corporate Mirror's attempts to inflict death by a thousand cheap shots, the Jihad continued on. Naz then attributed Carpenter's actions to jealousy, since they weren't the ones facing Autumn Powers tonight - he was. And when he became the first person to beat Autumn one on one in nearly half a year it would prove that he deserved the #1 contendership over Mirror and that the Fifteen Pounds of Gold belonged on his shoulder. Holmes, his Mirror, Powèrs, they all wanted to back him into a corner, shut him up and whitewash him out of history. But since they failed to learn anything about the Greatest Man Alive even after nearly four years, he would have to teach them all another lesson when Ruckus ended and the Unified World champion was laid out under his feet.
Enya tried to ask a follow up question but a sneering el-Fadal waved it off before limping off set. With the interview over, she threw things to Duck Eko in the ring so he could make the introductions for the next fight that would determine who got next when it came to the Unified World Tag Team championships.
2. the International Players v. Evan O'Neill and “Upper Class” Broderick Palmer II v. Team Batroc v. the Wonderful Ward Brothers in a fatal four way to determine the #1 contenders to the Unified World Tag Team championships
Teammates can't square off so one can lie down for the other; other than that, standard fatal four way rules apply here.
Once the bell rang, the opening minutes saw all four teams trying to get in quick pins with at least one of the other teams preventing it from happening. The tenor of the match settled down once Pyotr Caviar blind tagged himself in and went to work, even almost cutting Rich Ward in half with a running crossbody as we went into a (limited) commercial break.
💫 💫 💫
When we came back from the break we saw the Wonderful Ward Brothers throwing shots at Team Batroc before focusing their attack on Evan O'Neill. A replay showed that during the break Evan O'Neill blind tagged himself in and squawked at the crowd before eating a double flapjack from the International Players and a flurry from the Wards that culminating in a double running suplex and a double basement dropkick from the Canadians. Rich Ward had a firm upper hand until Serge Batroc broke up his former subordinate’s pinfall. While the referee was getting Serge out of the ring, Palmer II snuck up behind Rich and dropped him with a falling reverse DDT. O’Neill tagged out and he and “Upper Class” added insult to injury by giving him a Hart Attack, Palmer II pulling himself up so he could stand over Ward and bark “Par excellence!” at him while O’Neill applauded from the apron (he was the only one).
The odd couple pairing of O’Neill and Palmer II proceeded to control the next chunk of the match by putting Rich further and further into peril by keeping him isolated and employing quick tags only to each other in their corner. O’Neill and Palmer II even managed to lay Rich out with a powerbomb/neckbreaker combination, but when Evan swooped in for the pin the other teams dove in at 2 to break it up.
A Pier 8 brawl broke out as the Quality Controllers cheered it on, bodies flying all over and out of the ring. When the dust cleared, it came back down to O’Neill and Palmer II vs. Rich, and the black hats went to finish Rich off only for him to leap up and hit them both with a double Wonder Cutter that left all three men out on the canvas. Rich rolled over a couple of times but in his disorientation the corner he rolled towards the International Players ‘ corner, which gave Benjamin Valentino a chance to tag himself in and start going to work to get the Players another crack at the Unified Tag straps.
Valentino threw double axehandles, high elevation dropkicks and some back suplexes on everyone who tried to take him down – but after O’Neill dropped him from behind with a cheap shot Benjamin threw the house at Evan to try and shut him down. The International Player hit O’Neill with a somersault swinging neckbreaker, then another before taking Evan down again with a pop up power slam that rocked the ring.
Valebtino played to the crowd but missed Pyotr dragging Evan towards his corner and tagging himself in; when Valentino bounced off the ropes it was his last good moment before he Tracksuit Tsar almost decapitated him with a discus Russian sickle. Caviar treated Valentino the way Kendrick bars treat J. Cole's psyche, sending his fellow former Unified World Tag Team champion flying across the ring in all directions.
Every other man in the match except Serge tried their wares against Caviar and they all went down against the Russian land monster. Caviar refocused on Valentino and seemingly had him in position to finish him off moments later but Benjamin slipped behind him and put Pyotr in a rear naked choke. Caviar tried to fight it off but Valentino locked it in even deeper, sending Caviar staggering around the ring with Benjamin on his back.
Caviar backed into a corner a couple of times to try and shake Benjamin free but he backed into the Players’ corner and Lucius Patton tagged himself in. Patton ran for the ropes, almost knocking Palmer II off the apron before chop blocking Caviar to his knees. Valentino quickly regrouped to set Caviar up, and Patton put the spike in spike piledriver to lay Caviar out. The Players got up and celebrated, only to eat a double spear at the hands of Evan O'Neill as Palmer II dove onto Caviar for a pin. Serge vaulted himself into the ring only to be on the wrong end of the Wards’ Cutting Express, and the Wonderful ex champions turned and dove onto Broderick’s pin – but the number they broke it up on was four, meaning that…
Evan O'Neill & Broderick Palmer II d. The International Players, Team Batroc and the Wonderful Ward Brothers at 14:06 in a fatal four way to become #1 contenders to the Unified World Tag Team championships
Replays showed “Upper Class” tagging himself in before the Players’ spike piledriver, meaning he and Caviar were the legal men and that he’d punched the ticket to Mayday Payday for his team. He and Evan demanded mics from Duck and got them, Palmer II smugly saying that not only had he just shown these mouthbreathers that brains would find a way to get over brawn, thanks to them come the PPV would see the Unified Tag Team championships of the world elevated to a place they should be - around the waists of two men who would prove themselves to be a cut above the rest of the tag team division.
Evan O'Neill picked up the promo from there, saying that the name A Cut Above suited the future tag champs perfectly and reeked of class, unlike the unwashed masses that were around them here and in Farts Unknown. Razorblade was the king asshole around here, his sidekick Just Ass was a fart cosplaying king asshole and all the fans fed into their BS (bleeped) and stank up the joint further. Come Mayday Payday they would show off tag wrestling par excellence and remove the stink of Savage Justice off the belts. And once they did, Evan would have one simple question for the booing and crying chumps in the cheap seats - are you not entertained?!
Velvet Revolver took over the PA to boos while the announce put over A Cut Above’s slight upset put them as the #1 contenders; a chyron hyping them vs. Savage Justice for the belts at Mayday Payday came up on the screen and the Qualitron.
We got a video package recapping everything to set up the Women's World championship match, from Patel bullying Cruz temporarily out of the promotion last year to Luz returning to take the Crush championship off of Sohla and finally, the four way elimination at Golden Rule that saw Luz take the first two falls but Sohla cheat to win the belt.
They killed the lights in UNO before a lone spotlight shine on the ring; Cruz got a positive reaction but it got dwarfed by the negative response that Sohla received after she was announced as the champion.
3. Sohla Patel [c, w/International Lotus] v. Luz Cruz for the Women's World championship
Luz came out the gate hot as befitting the most decorated Crush champion of all time and sent Sohla ass over teakettle multiple times. Patel bailed out to the floor but then got to check a wrecking ball dropkick with her face. A fired up Cruz turned towards a nearby camera and said she was just getting started on her way to the belt.
Cheating a couple times bought Sohla a little time but within moments Luz would find a way to lay her out and reset the clock in her favor. Cruz continued to up the ante and landed a rewind rana to drop Patel as a means of getting the champ in position to eat a triple jump moonsault.
This drew both Karyn Tisch-Warren and Scott Warren-Tisch up on the apron to try and cut it off but Luz wiped both of them off the apron and went for the triple jump moonsault but Sohla dove for the ropes and sent Cruz spilling into the ring. Patel checked her nose and mouth for blood before pivoting towards Luz and flying at her to deliver a sunset flip powerbomb into the buckles.
Patel started to muster a comeback that came to a screeching halt when Luz got her boots up on a corner charge and followed up with a textbook missile dropkick. Cruz caught up to and then surpassed Patel in the ability department, eventually once again putting her in the drop zone for her triple jump moonsault. Karyn and Scott looked to get involved again but this time the referee cut them off at the pass and after some back and forth with the couple, ejected then both from ringside to the delight of the packed crowd. Neither of them took the ejection well but Scott was especially livid, dressing down the ref for what he thought of as overstepping their boundaries.
Or, you know, he could be providing a distraction while Karyn slid the World title to her business partner. That could also be - and was - happening. Patel grabbed the belt and waffled Cruz with it while Scott magically dropped his complaints and headed to the back alongside his wife. Patel slid the belt out of the ring and demanded the referee do their job, and they did.
The problem Sohla ran into was Luz kicking out at 2 ⅞.
Patel threw a full on hissy fit and looked like she was about to get DQed as she cocked her fist towards the ref. But she calmed herself down and went back on the attack; after eating the belt shot Cruz had almost nothing to offer by way of defense. Patel dropped Cruz a couple of times and even rubbed her face in the mat before hitting the Ninth Incarnation for the shady win.
Sohla Patel d. Luz Cruz at 17:02 to retain the Women's World championship
The rest of International Lotus came back out to celebrate with Sohla while the crowd booed and Steve dressed Sohla down for her cheating to hold onto the gold on commentary.
From there we went TOTHEBACK~!, where Julius Duquesne III brought out the biggest guest he could get: the Unified World champion - the Final Woman, Autumn Powers!
Powers walked onto set with the Fifteen Pounds of Gold to a massive pop from the New Orleanians. Autumn shook hands with JD3 before repositioning the belt on her shoulder. Julius asked her what her thoughts were about facing Nazir el-Fadal in the non-title main event tonight for Jackpot. Autumn pointed out that the Fifteen Pounds of Gold were heavy, but it was what she earned last fall. Big men? Beaten them, ran them from the company. Other champions? She’d beaten them and proven why she was the champion of champions. Naz couldn't beat her when he was 100% at Golden Rule, and his losing streak would continue tonight.
Once he left Jackpot flat broke, she would focus on Beckett Carpenter. See, Autumn had thought after they won the best of 5 series last year that would've kept Mirror in her rearview forever, but here they were trying to take another title away from her. As much as Autumn loved being TV champ, it didn't match the high of being THE champ, and she was going to make whoever came next earn it just like she did. But tonight? The Champ was going to go beat on a Naz been, injury or not.
Autumn saluted JD3 before walking off the set, and he thanked her for her time.
We cut from that scene to “Dark Mirror” Beckett Carpenter themselves moving briskly down a hallway and headed to the ring while the announce let us know that the possible #1 contender for the Unified World title would be in action…up next!
💫 💫 💫
4. “Dark Mirror” Beckett Carpenter v. Super Avión
The back half of Jackpot began by serving up beef that had been stewing for a week; before their win over Nazir el-Fadal last week, Carpenter wore the mask of his ex partner Avión to the ring. Even though the Insurgency is dead, Avión took the gesture as disrespect, words were exchanged over Quality Social, and here we are.
Marching towards what they hope to be a title shot at Autumn Powers, Mirror picked up where they left off last week and took the fight to Avión right from the opening bell to dominate early. Avión had to bail out to the floor and Carpenter sat on the middle rope to mockingly invite the luchador to come back in the ring to continue to get his ass kicked.
But Avión surprised Beckett and the rest of the Arena when he jumped up from the floor and took them down with a huracanrana to send them to the floor and buy himself some much needed recovery time.
The former Unified World Tag Team champion went on a run from there and even dropped Mirror with a familiar looking fisherman's buster before heading to the top rope. Avión took a beat to steady himself before flying off with a gorgeous corkscrew Shooting Star press.
The flight was gorgeous but it ended with an ugly crash as Mirror got out of harm's way and Avión bounced off of the canvas before going limp. Mirror drew themselves up and drilled Avión with an enzui Hazy Shade of Autumn that drew some knowing gasps and a few boos from the crowd before putting Look Inward on Avión. In a matter of moments Beckett had secured the tap out.
“Dark Mirror” Beckett Carpenter ds. Super Avión at 13:42
After replays and getting their hand raised, Mirror walked over to a camera and said that they were no Final Woman and they damn sure were better than a Jihad – and after Mayday Payday they would have the Triple Crown and the Unified World championship. A buzz in the crowd made Mirror whip their head around but they didn't come face to face with one of their many rivals.
Instead, they had the best spot in New Orleans to watch Crusazdo del Oro hit his former partner with a phoenix splash that didn't whiff in the slightest. Beckett gave a golf clap before sliding out of the ring, getting passed by a few referees who slid in and convinced Crusazdo to lay off the writhing Avión.
From there, we went to a pretape from Commissioner Holmes Earlier Today as he sat in the middle of the front row in an otherwise empty Quality Arena. He said that he didn't want to take up too much time when people were tuning in for his roster and not him, but he did want to end the speculation and let all of QCW’s fans know where Mayday Payday would be held.
He was proud to announce that QCW would be making a return to the world famous Cow Palace in San Francisco. Tickets would be going on sale Saturday at noon Eastern/9 Pacific, and he implored all Bay Area, hell, all West Coast fans to join them on May 5th when his promotion once again put the Quality in the term high quality PPV.
5. Ashley “THEE Influencer” Szabo v. Lolo Vuitton in a Duquesne Classic semifinal
Dueling chants from the New Orleans Quality Controllers after the bell rang to get this one going, both women arguably going for the biggest win in their career against someone they’d successfully teamed up with on Unleashed two nights prior.
The early moments were fought to a standstill with both women getting multiple nearfalls as they traded rollups, the counters to them and so on. Things went up in intensity when Lolo countered a Codebreaker attempt and turned it into a buckle bomb. Vuitton tried to end it right there by following it up with a Bloody Shoe, but Ashley saw it coming and backdropped her over the top and out to the floor. We went to the last big commercial break with Ashley holding down the ring and daring Lolo to come get some more.
💫 💫 💫
We came back from the break to see both women building up speed before going for flying crossbodies at the same time and wiping each other out in the middle of the ring. With both women down, we got a replay of what we missed during the break; most importantly was Lolo hanging Ashley out to dry over the barricade before leaping off the steps with a dropkick that put THEE Influencer on the ground.
In live action, Lolo got up first and saw Ashley pulling herself up in the corner. Vuitton took another crack at a Bloody Shoe only to eat a Szabo superkick that clearly knocked her for a loop. Szabo followed up by sticking an equally stiff step up enzuigiri that sent Lolo between the ropes and to the floor. The former Women's World champion pulled herself up just as Ashley flew off the top rope with a tope con hilo that found its mark.
It was Ashley who took over from there, throwing Lolo back into the ring to throw a fleet of offense at her. Szabo racked up almost half a dozen nearfalls but Lolo managed to either kick out or ultimately get her hand on the bottom rope after Ashley hit her with a Codebreaker. The Woman of A Trillion Likes pulled Lolo into position to make her Smash That Subscribe Button but fistdropped the canvas when Lolo rolled out of its way.
Nursing her hurt hand with her good one as she got up made Ashley vulnerable to the thing she’d been trying to avoid all match – one Bloody Shoe right between the eyes. Ashley fell down and Lolo fell into the cover, but Vuitton was as shocked as anybody else at the Lakefront when Ashley got her shoulder up at 2 ¾. As Lolo heatedly questioned the ref about the count, a couple replays showed that it was on the mark.
Lolo saw Ashley trying to get up and told the zebra to get out of her flight path right before she took off to uncork another Bloody Shoe but this time not only did Ashley catch it, she turned it into a shinbreaker over her shoulder. Vuitton limped away but Ashley was running for the ropes, this time coming off of them with a Codebreaker. Lolo staggered backwards but didn't topple until THEE Influencer hit a second Codebreaker and dropped her. Szabo wasted little time in heading for the high ground and this time connecting with Smash That Subscribe Button to continue her Cinderella story and punch her ticket to the Duquesne Classic finals.
Ashley Szabo d. Lolo Vuitton at 16:56 to advance to the finals of the Duquesne Classic
Replays fired off of the hard hitting but cleanly fought match, and when they were over we saw Lolo bump fists with Ashley, whisper something in her ear that Ashley agreed with, then head to the back while “THEE Influencer”hit the turnbuckles to celebrate.
Said celebrating got brought to a needle scratch halt as “Shall We Gather At the River?” hit the PA to bring out Witchfinder General once again - this time walking gingerly as a result of Omar's post match attack. Ashley climbed down from the turnbuckles to meet him on the ramp; words were exchanged and they were not well wishes. As Ashley continued to smacktalk the General, you could see him getting more and more disgusted with Ashley - and eventually he threw his hands up and departed for the back while Ashley told him that the Cup was coming home to her and the Game Changers.
Before the main event, Steve and Carl gave us the lowdown on what would be coming from Quality Arena on next week's QCW TV :
Unleashed will feature two title matches: Shelley LaVey will defend the Crush championship against longtime rival Fiona Fogg and Omar Littlefield will defend the G+ World TV title against Benjamin Valentino.
And RUCKUS is going to have three big matches and more.
A six woman gauntlet will determine who gets the shot at the Women's World championship at Mayday Payday. Facing off will be Luz Cruz, Goody Gardner, Shelley LaVey (who might be toting the Crush championship with her depending on how Unleashed goes), Cindy Monet, Karyn Tisch-Warren and Lolo Vuitton.
There's also going to be a non-title match of some interest as well when Autumn Powers goes one on one with “Dark Mirror” Beckett Carpenter for the first time since their best of 5 series last year and Carpenter (accidentally?) laying Autumn out with a chair shot during the Golden Rule main event.
And after weeks of heated competition, we will crown a winner in the 2024 Duquesne Classic. Former Unified World Tag Team champion Ashley “THEE Influencer” Szabo has caught fire with a series of singles wins; Witchfinder General returned to QCW preaching that the heathens in the crowd should repent and that he was one of the chosen. One of these dark horses will stand in the winner’s circle with the Duquesne Cup - but who?
That's what's to come next week, but right now we're looking at a rematch of the Golden Rule main event with Mirror taken out of the equation…
6. Autumn Powers v. Nazir el-Fadal in a non-title match
Naz came out first needing the walking cane to help him get in the ring. As the boos and the Fugees subsided, “Mota” by the Offspring took over UNO and brought out The Champ to the biggest pop of the night. Autumn Powers came down the ramp with a small grin on her face as she made her way into the ring, and when Naz hobbled over to get in her face Powers kicked the cane out from under him. Naz went down in a heap, the crowd roared, and Autumn posed with her belt.
It was a beautiful moment that got ruined by Naz dropping Autumn thanks to the cane. The crowd booed loudly as Naz laid in a couple more shots with the cane before the referee could rip it out of his hands. Naz took a few steps backwards while the referee on Powers and made sure she still wanted to go forward with the match (of course she did).
Once the bell rang, a suddenly recovered el-Fadal got a running start and landed a hesitation dropkick to the fallen champion before laying into her with a series of stomps. Naz followed that up with a familiar machine gun taunt and wiggling finger taunt at Autumn before he closed the gap; el-Fadal seemed to have Autumn in position before he smirked and changed his positioning.
Naz hoisted Autumn up and drove her into the corner with a buckle version of the Outsider's Edge that sent gasps through the crowd and Naz down for the cover. Autumn kicked out but barely at 2 ½. Naz continued to flex the upper hand as replays showed the cane cheapshots and the buckle Outsider's Edge that’d given him the upper hand.
Naz continued to work Autumn over and even got her in a seated position before laying in some mocking hammer and anvil elbows, missing a few – and Autumn used that opening to land an upkick and then a few more for good measure as the crowd rallied behind her. With Naz in a seated position, Autumn started raining down legitimate hammer and anvil elbows until Naz started to try and roll himself towards the ropes. He was safe from the elbows but not from Autumn delivering a crisp PK to the side of the head that sent him out to the floor.
Naz used the ringpost to pull himself up but Autumn hit him with a tope on the diagonal that sent him not only into the barricade but over it into the top row. While they recovered we got replays of Autumn's awesome tope and she made her way back to the ring; but she did so to break up the count and then drag Naz back in.
el-Fadal got pinned but managed a kick out, deflating the crowd. Autumn refused to relent and continued to wear Naz down, putting him down with an implant DDT before signaling for the end. Autumn launched herself forward with the Hazy Shade but Naz countered by log rolling into her plant foot and sending her crashing into the canvas. The former World champion waited on The Champ to get up before cinching her up in a cobra clutch before snapping down in a Lungblower that el-Fadal calls the Heat Check.
Things got to a fever pitch down the stretch as the rivals traded bigger and bigger bombs. Naz would go for another Heat Check only for Autumn to counter and drill him with a Saito suplex. The Hazy Shade was her follow up and it connected, but Naz fell between the middle and bottom rope to the floor. It took Autumn a couple of beats to roll out of the ring and cinch up Naz before pushing him into the ring. Powers went to follow up but an el-Fadal leg sweep sent her crashing into the apron. Naz rolled out of the ring and met Autumn on the apron…
…before hiptossing her off it and down to the floor with a Michinoku Driver.
Definitely a “HOLY SHIT!” moment if ever there was. Replays, many replays as Naz was slow to get to his feet and was limping once he did - but Autumn wasn't moving. Naz peeled her off the floor and pushed her into the ring under the bottom rope before slowly sliding back in himself.
Naz pulled Autumn to the center of the ring and pinned her, then, being the Greatest Asshole Alive, pulled her up at 2. Everyone in the building was livid over this but Naz mockingly put an index finger up to his lips before pulling an out of it Autumn up by her spiky hair.
Then he spiked her with a dose of Nazquil and pinned her in the dead center of the ring.
Nazir el-Fadal d. Autumn Powers at 16:34 in a non-title match
After replays, Naz kept the referee from checking on Autumn and demanded he get his hand raised. The referee did and then checked on a barely moving Powers while Naz egged on the boos before hitting a turnbuckle and making a Very Familiar Gesture around his waist. The announce seemed to be trying to square the circle by being disgusted at his actions while also selling hard that Naz just made Autumn lose for the first time since before Halloween.
They were right in the middle of more fence sitting as the credits box came up. Steve reminded everyone they’d be back at Quality Arena next week for Autumn vs. Mirror and THEE Influencer against Witchcraft General in the finals of the Duquesne Classic. Ruckus went off the air as a recovering Autumn looked up the aisle and filled her eyes with the sight of Naz smiling far too wide to be friendly and saying the final words of the show:
Soon my Payday will come! And I WILL be cashing out as The Champ!
